Ever since Derreth has found out about her friend Sean's ability to turn into an electro crystal fly using his vision she has grown quite friendly with the little creatures often making sure to greet and try to talk to the little flying balls of electricity in hopes that one of them is her dear friend.

One day Derreth was walking to the infamous inazuma city to have breakfast she walked past a few electro crystal flies, making sure to say good morning to each one of them.

"Good morning Ryuji!" She knew Sean hated being called that but she loved messing with her best friend.

Little did she know the guy she was talking about was right behind her. Sean had long gotten tired of Derreth thinking every crystal fly on teyvat is him so he decided to pull a little "harmless" prank on her.

I mean she isn't the only one allowed to have fun, he also has to get that out of his system every once in a while right?

He silently used his vision to turn into a crystal fly without her seeing him.

Then he swiftly joined the little group of crystal flies and got closer to Derreth, landing on her nose which caught her by surprise.

"Oh hello little guy!" A shock of electricity "OW!"

It was now Sean's queue to reveal himself to her. With a spark of electro he went back to his human form, a sinister chuckle escaped his lips as he faced the now scared Derreth...

"Do you REALLY approach every crystal flies you see?"

"Maybe now you'll think twice before doing so~"

genuinely wondering though: do you really think the phandom is dying, or just the people you surrounded yourself with are leaving? i've been here since april 2015 and like Hell i've seen blogs come ago trust me i thought it was dying before i realized there were always new blogs popping up i wasn't active enough to start following, and that a more accurate indicator is post notes. i do want your thoughts though on this if you've been more aware than i 👀

ok so im not sure whether it’s exactly DYING as in it’s losing fans, but more like … collapsing or something??? i see your point that there will be new people, and i think that indeed perhaps maybe we are just going through a short period of Dead before there’s a new wave of blogs. however, at least in what ive seen, more people are leaving than are coming. practically every big blog is going inactive (im not going to name them bc that would be weird but i think we both know generally the blogs im talking about). as well, the blogs that are getting bigger don’t seem to make as much content (gifs, art, writing) and are more a la shitposter. this category indeed includes myself. i think we r shifting into a fanbase that pays a lot more attention to memes and discourse than actual content, and that’s fine, but it can be annoying when you actually make something good and only get a fraction of the notes you got on that boyfriend-checking-out-other-girl edited stock photo that took you two seconds to paste text onto. and also, perhaps the phandom is getting bigger, but it is becoming a lot more disorganized, because there’s so many blogs that it’s become hard to keep track of new content and new information. i remember back last year, when something happened w dnp, everyone would know ab it and discuss it, but at this point it’s too vast for something to get truly viral or known to everyone. this can not only be seen through who knows it, but also the level at which we react to it. we used to more closely watch everything dnp did, but now they do so much- there’s a lot more videos than when tatinof was happening- that there’s a sort of ?inflation? in which we don’t care about anything they do because they do stuff all the time. it’s kinda turning into chaos in the way nothing lasts long here and nothing is that important. the phandom is so bored that we are coming up with new theories every day just to entertain ourselves. i don’t know whether any of this made sense but i Tried! ly eavan
