I’ve been given a task to choose 25 albums that greatly influenced my taste in music. One per day for 25 consecutive days. Random order. No explanation, no reviews, just album covers.
Normally I should nominate someone every day to do the same. I decided not to nominate anyone in particular and everyone who wants to play along is free to join. If you aren’t interested, no problem.
i'm finally able to look forward to the rammstein concert in berlin in july <3 <3 (all in between our me & my fiance's month-long trip to the white mountains!)
Frau Schneider is scary and intimidating, yes, but did yall forget Paul during Sehnsucht at Volkerball?? Man wasn't just ready to fight, he was ready to ANNIHILATE!
Our Paulchen? The one playing tug-of-war with Till with Flake's cooking pot? Playing with Dr. Simi doll? Wearing the floppy-ear bunny hat? Comforting Schneider when he's overwhelmed behind the drumkit? That Paulchen?
So on to youtube to see how cutiepetootie Paulch.....
oh....
i see what you mean
2 guesses who was on his hitlist that night 😊
also bonus screengrabs (while i was making those above)
Olli doing backing vocals
And Schneider being gorgeous (because i've been neglecting him again on my blog) 🌺
i'd like all their members i'm sure! i mean, um, ok if i absolutely had to 100% pick my favorite person in the group it'd be ollie or schneider or paul or flake or till or richard. not 100% sure, but one of those.
no seriously i refuse to choose. i couldn't. i mean if i had to on the pain of death i'd randomly pick one (i'm watching volkerball rn and ollie just poured water all over himself so he'd probably win today) and then feel terrible that i hadn't picked one of the other five.

Another case of "umlauts matter": YT bootlegs of Rammstein's "Völkerball" tour.
Völkerball = dodgeball (literally "nations-ball", dodgeball is treated like a war analogy in Germany, because of course it is)
Volkerball = The ball of a man called Volker, a common German name
First time watch... #NowWatching Rammstein: Volkerball (Live in France) (2006) Volkerball is a live DVD from German metal band Rammstein. This band puts on an incredible show! I actually had the pleasure of seeing them a while back. I would love to see them again! https://www.instagram.com/p/ClAWtYFo0GY/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
