This one hit home hard... [if you're struggling my text may be a trigger for you]

I've been struggling for a long time and, unfortunately, my struggles never got acknowledged properly by the people who should have acknowledged them. Instead, I was told to stay quiet, pretend to be fine, keep up appearances, pretend to be normal and functional ... just to name a few. Survival strategies and coping mechanisms followed only to be completely burned out after decades of pretending... crawl back up and fall down again... I wish I'd knew things when I was younger. I wish I'd loved ones who truly cared for me when I needed it. All I know now's that no one can be trusted and no one cares, not really though... Decades wasted on a life that could and should have been better. Music, certain movies/series and books were my friends in time of need and remain my comfort zone. I mainly post these things on my blog with some motivational quotes, wisdoms, insights, etc... from time to time. I hope these posts will light up your day ✨️
