I had 2 shitty night shifts, people yelled at me, I watched as the "VIP section" of my coworkers sat on their asses and chatted and laughed as I dragged my aching body from one machine to another with maybe 2 minute breaks here and there, then I got home and my kid got lice, and so I changed the 3-day-old sheets again, cut his hair, bathed him in all anti-lice shit I had, then bathed myself, tossed every fabric he touched into the waching machine and passed out for several hours to wake up broken af ----

“I need you to be my girlfriend for the week.”

“...I thought you called me for tea.”

You had called Terano to a specific place because you needed to talk to her regarding something important. Usually, when either of you called the other with something “important” in mind, it had to do with tea and taste testing it. But today was different because you had gotten into a problem and a bet. The bet was not something that would hurt Terano’s feelings, yet it was more like a test. Essentially, you lost the bet and your price was to confess to your crush. Perhaps this was cheating, but the school was all about cheating and getting away with it. 

“Okay, I’m gonna be honest with you. I lost a bet. I need you to be my girlfriend for the week.” You repeated, stretching the truth a bit.

Terano sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose. She truly loved you, but there were times where she wished she could walk away because some of the bets were ludicrous. How did you expect to beat a claw machine when the claw was all loose? She had to go and save you. But...a fake relationship with you didn't sound bad. A real one would have been better, but that would have to suffice. "Fine. A week?"

"Yes, please, I'll make up a story to cover it."

For the next week, Terano and you were a couple. No one expected Terano of all people to have time for a significant other, yet here she was, right beside the person she's wanted to be. She plays the role of a great girlfriend to a T. She takes you out on dates and even brings you extravagant little gifts. Sometimes she'll even link pinkies with you since she doesn't like PDA. Openly, aorund the people you lost the bet to, she'll call you by a nickname.

"My dove, could you possibly get me the set of dice over there?" Terano said in a lovely tone to you before whipping around to glare at the boys who dared try to use you to settle their debts to the student council. "You do not mess with Y/N. Let us settle this once and for all."

It was over as soon as it began and Terano was smiling the whole time. If this is what it felt like to be your girlfriend and being able to help you out when it came to gambling, she wouldn't mind doing this more often. In fact, she liked it. She liked being able to have you to herself. In public, she would let you kiss her cheek and she would not mind. Internally, it would make her smug.

But all good things had to come to an end.

"Well, the week is up. You're free from the deal." You said, but your smile was sad. Terano truly did not want to assume anything, but could it possibly be?

"Actually...after this week and calculating a lot of things, I have realized I have grown accustomed to your presence in a romantic sense. Sure, it may have been fake, but what's to say that we cannot do everything all over again but real this time?" Her eyes were avoiding yours, but yours could've been replaced by sparkles.

"Oh, thank God, I didn't want to confess first."

"You coward."

"Hey!"

Yumi, watching from afar, was with Ibara and Miroslava, watching Terano through binoculars and cheering when you two were holding hands and smiling like lovesick fools at wach other. "She won't die alone! Ibara, you know what that means, right?"

"If you say I'm gonna die alone-"

"No! ...But maybe."

My dad hiring 3 washing machine technicians one aftrr the other to fix our waching machine because ours keep making this grating metal scraping noise only for the noise to keep coming back everytime no matter what the technicians do

9am: today is laundry day. as soon as went out the back, i saw it trying to hangout on top of the storage shelf. maybe because it saw me, it went away. while filling the waching machine, i went inside the house to wash the dishes. after that i came back out to start the machine and the next thing i knew it was on the floor. it went underneath another storage shelf. i checked on it every now and then while i do the laundry and it mainly slept.

3pm: i checked if the cat is still there and it is sitting out in the open. i took the opportunity to take this photo. its eyes are pretty and its fur are all white.

5pm: i checked it again after a while and it just wondered out there and meowed, so i left again. maybe it was annoyed that i kept checking out on him. i read that cats sometimes hide themselves when they are weak and about to pass. kitty doesn't look like that at all.

6pm: its kinda dark now and when i opened the lights at the back, its still there. i think it went down and couldn't figure out how to go back up. i left it there. i didn't want to bother it.

8pm: its really dark at the back now and its still there. it was sitting out. i didn't try to approach it nor did i try to touch it, but as soon as i squatted down, it approached on its own. it even let me pet it. i think it's still young since it is still on the smaller side.

for a while i stayed there, it was walking around me and rubbing its body against my legs and the things around us. i think it was marking me. at some point, i think it was trying to get inside the house.

i don't want to take it in, i don't want to take care of cats, it worries me. since this is a stray cat, there's a possibility that it would go out for days. it would bring me stress if it doesn't go home. honestly, i kinda want to keep it, i'm weak to animals. i was so close to ask my mom if we can keep it. i'm not the only person that lives in this house, i have to consider their opinion too. to add to that, my mom and younger bro have a history of asthma. and though we have a little bit of a mice problem, i think having a pet in this moment is not a good idea.

since it was letting me pet it and carry it, i put it on the roof where i first saw it. for a while i stayed there until it started to walk away.

in the future when i'm a bit more financially stable and you decide to come back, i'll take you in. for now, please survive or find someone capable of taking care of you. godspeed kitty!

bonus: as i'm typing this, i can see movement on our roof. if its you kitty, you are welcome to stay there.
