we’re so back today!! despite having to work 5 hours at the worlds most boring job (2 of which i spent either updating my google calendar or in the rust cohle tag) i went and bought my keyboard!! 81 glorious weighted keys for less than 500 dollars (market price is almost 700) and it’s all mine 😈 all the people there are so dope and the old guy behind the counter gave me free delivery as long as i could lift from the parking lot to my apartment (girl if i can’t….) and then i got home and my curtain rod came in the mail so i put up my new curtains that i’ve been unreasonably excited about . finally following up on my promise to make this apartment a home

just had the most harrowing experience. I was standing at the kitchen window watching a squirrel try to get into the birdfeeder (it couldnt bc the feeder kept spinning and it couldnt get traction on the sloped roof. it was so sad. ignore the fact theres plenty of the food scattered on the ground just below for the squirrels and chipmunks.) and I was thinking. aww man thats pretty cute. weird how i havent seen the squirrels in the yard as much as the chipmunks, I sometimes catch glimpses of them in the woods but?? do I need to put squirrel feeders out too?? I wanna see them more!!

and like 15 mins later I was walking my dog, mostly not Thinking abt the Squirrels.

And. a fucking squirrel dropped from the sky directly in front of me. its little body made a horrible THOWPMP noise. oh my god.

it was probably trying to jump from one tree to another and missed, but it mustve dropped a good 30 ft if not more...it got up and ran into the woods like nothing had happened so ig it was okay?? but it scared the shit out of me 😭 be careful what u wish for (to see more squirrels) because sometimes u will get it (in the form of squirrels falling directly in front of u out of nowhere)
