In regards to my last few asks bc I’ve been thinking abt it all for days

Akiangel brought me out of a 3 year hiatus. I was a teen when I first started writing fics and posting them and I had no idea what my style was. I was hardly an adult lol. I was in love with the writers I followed on tumblr and just tried soooo hard to be like them. Straight up head over heels for some of the writers out there. And it was so hard putting myself out there and receiving praise and hate and everything in between. I wasn’t tough enough to deal with all of that, so I backed out. Lost friends, lost interests, and didn’t feel like myself.

And it’s sad to think about younger me like that, always doubting myself and trying sooo hard to be liked. (Okay I still really want to be liked lmfao) but it’s different now. Social media still scares the hell out of me, esp with the young TikTok generation lolol y’all are terrifying 😫 but at the same time, I’m older now, I’m an adult, and it feels freeing to finally have that “fuck it, I can do what I want” attitude.

I’ll say I miss having a community. It feels lonely out here most days. But when the love pours in, it really really does. And it makes everything feel worth it. Idk what I’m saying. I’m not gonna pretend to be savvy with my words anymore. I’m just a writer and I’m humbled to the fucking core that people read my shit. That’s really it, honestly. So thanks for sticking around and watching me grow up and shit. I’m sure I’ll keep changing and I’ll look back and hug my younger self just like I am right now 💛

Thinks about how low neku and beat’s bravery was for clothes in the og twewy and how little they wanted to wear feminine clothes and transes the explanation as to why. They’re teenage trans boys wearing pink and a dress when they’re closeted is a nightmare HOWEVER I worked the hell out of raising their bravery to get them to wear skirts and heels and they came out better for it. I made them confident and gnc babeyyy!!!!

The "im better than everyone because im QuiRkY" version of me in middle school would be disgusted by me currently sitting in my school dorm room emotional over football (Meaningless rant below)

I'm sad because I just started to follow my favorite NFL team seriously this season and they're playing a massive game currently (Lets just say we are used to not doing well) and I just want to experience it with my dad who has cared this team since he was a kid but thanks to the weather im alone.
