Founding Cats

🌾Welcome to WheatClan, a Clan of cats founded by barn cats, estranged Clan cats, and loners! There's room for anyone willing to make a home here, and the founders will make sure of it. 🌾

MEET THE MAIN FOUNDERS! (More info on each below!)

First, WheatClan's leader, Seedstar.

It's a little unclear why exactly Seedstar became WheatClan's leader. All that is known is that he sought refuge with the barn cats, back when his name was Seedspot, after fleeing something seemingly horrific that happened to his Clan. He was in a state of shock, unable to compose himself even to hunt. Luckily, the barn cats helped care for him, and he started opening up to them, explaining Clan life and how it works. He was visited one night by a cat he'd once known named Swishstripe, who granted him nine lives and the duty to lead a new Clan of cats he was to name WheatClan. Seedstar is shaky, nervous, and frankly a bit cowardly, which other cats often criticize him for. But StarClan chose him to lead for a reason... right?

Softstripe, the deputy

During Seedstar's first couple moons of his stay, loners would often come and go while visiting the barn for shelter, only as a place to sleep. Softstripe, then known as Fluffy, was the cat who changed the tides. She had heard of many tales of Clan life throughout her travels, and eventually stayed at the barn to help Seedspot recover. Softstripe now serves as WheatClan's deputy, a helpful source of lore for the cats. She's incredibly loyal and dedicated to the new Clan, doing all she can to provide for and protect the cats living in it.

Weedleaf, the medicine cat

One of the barn cats was an older she-cat by the name of Wheatie, who'd taught herself the knowledge of medicine after getting curious with some herbs at a young age. She was often seen as the head of the barn cats, though was always more for providing than giving orders. She's brutally honest at times, a bit bold, but is also extremely intelligent as she knows the territory (particularly herb patches) like the back of her paw. She was more than willing to help take care of Seedstar, and later form WheatClan after suddenly forming a strange connection to StarClan.

Snapdragonpaw, the rebellious apprentice

Snapdragonpaw traveled with Softstripe as a kit, eventually being adopted by her. She was more than eager to help create WheatClan, even if she would've automatically been an apprentice despite her nearly being of warrior age. Softstripe ended up being placed as her mentor anyway, which worked out fine for her. She's very energetic and fiery, as well as a bit of a rebel to authority. This often gets her in trouble, but she doesn't really seem to care. That is, until she's ordered to do chores around camp. Ugh.

Dreampaw, the charismatic apprentice

Dreampaw was one of the barn cats alongside Weedleaf, although never formally adopted by her. She's the same age as Snapdragonpaw, and became surprisingly close to her following her stay at the barn. Dreampaw didn't mind becoming an apprentice either, seeing that it was only fair for her and Snapdragonpaw to be apprenticed together. Dreampaw notices and brings out the bright, positive side of other cats, making them very fond of her. Some accuse her of attention-seeking, when the truth is she just wants to be a genuine, sweet cat.
