okay mutuals. you're reading a 1970s/80s comic. the original issue has darker, richer colors but clear aging and the lines/details are fuzzy. the tpb has sharp and clean lines but the colors are flat and dull. which are you reading?

#usually i compare the tpb or where its collected to each other and the original to see which has richer colors and follows closer to the #original issue BUT i do read the collected one if available because my eyesight is bad and the letters can be more clear #however i always look at the solo issues too to admire the original art/look for differences and because i like the letter columns #posting panels? usually i use a tpb because the quality is higher and again easier to see/read. but i always put the original issue down #instead of saying the collection its from because. im annoying and i like being specific instead of sending people to a 8+ comic tpb #ransom note

 Thinkin of lil Robin and all of them being very fluffy with like, almost down mixed with fur and softer larvae-like chitin. Way softer than Bruce’s chitin that can take some ridiculously solid hits before cracking. Bruce gets so stressed when Dick gets his secondary body because like?? Small child with?? Large blade?? On the end of a tail?? And long claws??? This kid is like, nine at most and has very sharp blades now that can’t be taken away. He’s so very stressed. 

 I like to think the robins all vary in size by like a few inches but they’re all child-sized just so they can sneak around easily and hide in the Bat’s back. Plus then Bruce can pluck them up whenever they decide to try and sneak out or attack someone lol

Sleep deprived but need to get this out, I know I said before it would be cool if Val changed her name to Orion because mythological hunter/constellation and even tho she stopped hunting ghosts indiscriminately being a hunter is still very much a part of her BUT what if hunter pair Val and Danny named after Shaula and Lesath, the two stars that make up the stingers in the constellation Scorpius (Who kills Orion in the myth) because even though Danny was raised to be a hunter and Val was turned into one they both turn away from the idea of what a ghost hunter 'should be' and protect both humans and ghosts etc etc. Anyway this was more for a dpxdc au since I don't think Danny would stop going by phantom unless he left amity but yeah just a thought
