im not saying james needs to look hot because that would be the worst timeline, i actually think his model looks great and the guy they modelled his face after does too for the role i just think whoever is directing the animation and specifically the facial expressions is the REAL problem.
why do they have him constantly doing a sad puppy face into the camera they dont need to do all of that and then he also has a deep gravelly action man voice too like mannn thats not james like who made these decisions?

Okay so realistically speaking, giving birth is an excruciating, painful nightmare, and from the few Crocodad fics I've seen most people seem to prefer to write realistic pregnancy and make Luffy's birth a (physically) painful thing. Because it makes sense, it might be more relatable for some writers that way etc, and that's perfectly fine (like genuinely, it's not an issue at all, this is not a critique or a complaint)
God I don't know how to make this segue- Have any of you watched Ore Monogatari!! (My Love Story)? It's a great early 2010s romantic comedy series, funny as hell, super cute and sweet, would reccomend, but that aside. During the series the protagonist Takeo's mother gets pregnant and she ends up giving birth to Takeo's baby sister. And it's that scene, where Takeo's baby sister is born, that I keep on thinking back to whenever I wonder how Luffy's birth might've gone.
Takeo and his mother alike are Sturdy Motherfuckers. Like absolute gigachads, borderline superhuman, it's great and it's funny as hell. And because of that near superhuman nature...
Takeo's mother goes to give birth at 4:15 pm. And she has finished giving birth at 4:16 pm. One fucking minute is what it took for this woman to bring a child into this world. An absolute legend
The screencaps do not do justice to how fucking funny this is in the actual episode
And so like
Like we know Crocodile's been through absolute hell, being an amputee and all. And as Domino told us at the entrance of Impel Down, we also know the man did not even flinch when forced into Impel Down's traditional 200 Celsius cleansing bath (or 392F)
So Crocodile has better pain tolerance than the average person. Like, you might have to put in a bit of effort to cause him actually hurt. So if giving birth to Luffy was an absolute cakewalk for Crocodile, not only would it make perfect sense in-universe and be completely in-character for him, but also
It would be objectively funny as hell

Durge: "Why are you at rest? Start cleaning the camp!"
Sceleritas Fel: "Aaah! Master! I'm sorry, I'm ever-so sorry to forget my other duties! What a wretch I am! I'm not even worthy of being your scullery maid." [startled, realises he has done poorly]
Durge: "Wash the dishes!"
Sceleritas Fel: "At once. I will shatter some glasses and sprinkle the fragments in the beds of your other followers. Keep their dreams bloody."
Truly the world's most helpful butler. I would love to know how he interprets the other household chores.

Concept for Beyond The Spiderverse; Miles gets his shit rocked by whatever, maybe a heroic sacrifice attempt. O'Hara gets over to him first, and Miles, one (1) inch from death, sees a dark, broad figure in blue above him through the haze of pain and near-death fog, and tells who he thinks is his father that he's sorry and that he loves him.
Cue Miguel "Repressed Catholic Grieving Father Who Was Just Trying To Maim This Child" O'Hara trying to 1; cope with being a dad again, in any capacity, for even a moment, and 2; figure out if he should play along and pretend to be Jefferson, so this child can at least think he's dying in the comfort of his father's presence

I find it incredibly hilarious that Eight not only was forcibly retired from being Outlander because he got too murder-y with it, but was relegated to trying out assistant work for Theron because everyone deemed him to have at least a moral backbone with which to allow Eight to get a second opinion off of (and hopefully grow his own). Which results in situations like either Theron getting in trouble and his ever-capable assistant whom was assumed to be a pencil pusher suddenly being revealed to be the former Outlander who disappeared from the role, or Eight himself being targeted as a liability to Theron and then said attackers finding out, unfortunately, that Theron's assistant is a much better fighter than him and why does the Alliance have someone like this doing secretary work.
Zakuul learns to be wary of anyone they assume to only be administrative personnel, lest they be secret assassins and former Ciphers, of all people.

I am an assistant teacher in a preschool, and one thing I pride myself on is nicknaming my dear kiddos. One of my little boys I call Muppet. Now I call him Muppet for 3 main reasons. 1) his mouth is always open in a dopey smile (very muppet like), 2) he has a propensity for doing a lot of slapstick-y bullshit (higher than usual, even for a 2 year old) and 3) he rag dolls at least like 5 times a day. I’ll be watching him play, blink and then he’s just

I think Boston got a happy ending. He's getting a fresh start, and everything in the finale just felt like it was setting him up to leave for America with no regrets or loose ends.
He apologized for the things he did wrong, and pointedly did not apologize for the things he didn't do wrong. He's a messy boy and I love him for that, but he absolutely did some things worth apologizing for, so I'm not mad at the fact that the show let him apologize. He did everything he could to repair his relationships with his friends, and for the most part, he did repair them. Cheum is happy to welcome him back into the group. Ray is still protective of Mew, and is always going to side with Mew over Boston when forced to choose, but he doesn't seem to harbor any hard feelings of his own. His friendship with Mew is irreparably broken, and that's kind of ok with me. It's true to life; some relationships you can repair, and some you can't. But Boston did what he could. He doesn't have to hold onto guilt or wonder what would have happened if he reached out.
The friend group dynamic was never going to go back to what it was before, because Boston was leaving the whole continent. There was always going to be a shift. We were always going to end up with all of the others getting close and having experiences together without Boston there. But he fixed things enough that they're staying in touch.
And he and Nick broke up a bit earlier than they would have. But they would have broken up anyway. That relationship always had an expiration date. Boston set it up that way on purpose (I feel like knowing it had an ending was the only way he could give himself permission to even try for the first time, but that's probably a whole other post I could make). And he got to learn about himself. He likes romance; he can fall in love. It's just that romance and sex are two completely separate things for him. And he's moving to NYC! You know he's going to find some like minded people and figure himself out further, and find fulfilling relationships that work for him, now that he knows more about his wants and needs.
And it's so much better that Nick didn't follow him to New York. I cannot see that ending well. Because once Boston and Nick both learned enough about themselves to have an open and honest conversation about what they wanted in a relationship, it was clear that they loved each other AND they wanted fundamentally different things. Somehow a clean break for a reason other than the move to America feels better. They're not holding on or trying to stretch out the end so it hurts more or longer. They loved each other. It meant something. And it ended. The end doesn't make the rest matter less.
And Boston, a Boston who learned and grew from the events in this series, is planning to be totally out in America, away from his dad. No more hiding. No more worry about black mail. He's the person taking the photos and choosing to make them public as art.
Everything about the finale just felt like it was setting Boston up for a fresh start in the best and cleanest way possible. Repairing the ties that could be part of his support system, even across continents. Cutting ties that were only going to hold him back or hurt him worse. Letting him get things off his chest, so he could leave without regrets or what-ifs. I think this episode was so good to Boston.

The company my brother works for has some garage units they rent out for storage, and today he had to go clean out a unit after some guy who died, p standard stuff. When he got into it however it tuned out the guy in question was a full on nazi, like tons and tons of memorabilia and uniforms and printed nazi propaganda everywhere.
And then halfway through the clean up he found several hand grenades just laying about, which honestly might as well happen at that point. Luckily they turned out to be dummy grenades, but things were really tense there for a moment.
