One Piece episode 1089 thoughts (anime only spoilers, if you haven't watched):
that ending song! I already had listened to it when I saw that Maki Otsuki was singing it. But it didn't have to go that hard to remind me of "Memories"
I forgot how much the anime plays up the Zoro & Sanji bickering. It's a less prominent in the manga. I also think the anime pushes the ZoSan vibes a lot more.
just. cut. the. water. Zoro
Also reminded of why Zoro has become less interesting to me. He's just kinda there, being stoic and cool. I miss his goofier attributes.
weirdly neutral on the skin changes, if only because in the manga color spreads everyone has the same skin tone
there was a lot more details to the destruction of Lulusia. It was vaguer and more abrupt in the manga
the little scene with Robin and Chopper inside on Sunny was cute ^-^
Robin giving herself tea! brilliant
Franky furling the main sail with his cyborg abilities A+! (can't remember the move exactly and don't want to misstate it)
I really would like the Straw Hats to go to an AUTUMN island someday. They've been to like three wintry places by now. -_-
the ending explanation with Chopper and Robin was both precious and hilarious. Like, here's all the info you need about this character in case you have no idea who he is. Thanks for that. We've now reached the point in the story where we've got to summarize for an audience that might be coming into the story now by watching this episode.
the animation is reminiscent of movie 6

Here’s my ranking for all the tracks on Come Taste the Band by my own personal preference:
Tumblr media
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJGuoD1kuyo
9. Drifter - Let me just preface this, there are no bad songs on this album.  Drifter gets the lowest spot here just because I feel the chorus is a little boring and compared to the rest of the tracks on this album, it doesn’t hold up so high.  However, I will say that I absolutely adore Paicey’s change in tempo going into the main chorus, I think it really adds to the entire song and his drumming really is just incredible in this album.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjgO1P8nIWY
8. Dealer - This is another song that ranks somewhat low compared to others however there are lots of aspects to this song which are incredible.  First, Glenn’s little interlude part before Tommy’s solo is absolutely brilliant, Tommy and Glenn just absolutely complement each other so well and that’s shown with the next element.  Tommy Bolin is an absolute beast throughout this album however his solo in Dealer is one of the greatest and memorable parts throughout this whole album.  Dealer is absolutely worth listening to just for his part which ends the song as well in a beautiful finish.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6q-xTLwH-M
7. Comin’ Home - The opening track and truly a banger.  I know, I’m sorry if the modern terminology turned you off but that’s just the perfect way to describe this song.  It’s absolutely a song you would blast while traveling throughout a freeway or, as the song states, going home.  Full of energy and vivacious attitude, it’s an incredible opening song showing off the talents of all members of the band.  Coverdale is a solo act on this track and he does phenomenal at the part, it’s really incredible the range he expresses throughout this album.  Although he’s mostly known for his bluesy, lower range, he can absolutely take some high parts and give them justice as he does throughout this track and really throughout the entire album.  It would be a dishonor to not mention Tommy’s solo which is just as full of energy and really shows off his capabilities to anyone who would doubt this new lineup.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhBQY7ymIxo
6. Lady Luck - This song is another Coverdale solo track and it definitely shares many similar themes to what he would produce later on.  It’s also probably one of the most fun songs on the album.  This is David’s song and he has so much fun with the vocals with the rest of the band accompanying him.  The chorus is undeniably catchy and has been stuck in my head several times.  It’s also the shortest track on the album and I feel has a perfect length so that it doesn’t become too repetitive making it a perfect track before the next track.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKt34DZHLkA
5. Gettin’ Tighter - Probably the most well-known track on the album and Tommy Bolin’s personal favorite as well, it definitely has his influences.  From that opening lick you’re already blasted with any preexisting assumptions of a Blackmore clone to be treated to an absolute funky, soul, and hard rock masterpiece.  This song was actually created between Glenn and Tommy and, let me tell ya, you can tell.  They both absolutely dominate this song with Glenn’s vocals being some of the best that he’s shown off.  You can tell how much they both adore this piece of music.  What makes the song however is the funk solo in the middle of the song which just is full of that distinct Tommy Bolin sound that really no other guitarist can achieve.  This song is a beautiful track that really encompasses ,what I feel, should have been the Mark 4 experience.  It’s the most funky track on the album and it totally rocks it in a way that I feel many people can enjoy regardless of taste.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wsd-zL0jtyE
4. I Need Love - When I first started listening to this album, this song always stuck to me for some reason.  Actually, that reason is probably the melody.  David’s vocals are just so incredibly catchy and appealing to my tastes, especially how he edges onto the chorus and then going down with the main ‘I Need Love’ part of the song.  Tommy is also incredible in this song as well and it really just has such an appealing melody that I can never get out of my head.  It’s definitely one of my favorite Coverdale performances, he really gives his all throughout the song and really it shows.  Not also to mention the funky portions of the song that abruptly cut back to the chorus, overall just an incredible well-written and composed song that stands as a highlight in this album.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmHbzL2XH4Y
3. Love Child - Top 3 and boy do these songs really deserve it.  Starting with Love Child, that starting riff just pulls you into that melancholic mood that stays throughout the entire piece.  Then Coverdale comes in and, oh boy, does he come in strong.  The highlight of this song is no doubt his vocals, David just puts so much emotion into his voice that he moves the entire song.  It’s strange as David is usually known for his much more lower bluesy voice but he really goes out of his comfort zone and just goes for it, putting out vocals like he really has never done before.  The opening verse of this song will always stay with me as one of the highlights of this album and is definitely a song worth listening to just for that moment.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1W7SFhq8XR4
2. This Time/Owed To G - Many people would agree with these two being at the top and for good reason as well.  I’m not one to usually agree with general opinion but this two piece song right before the finale really is a work of art and stands as a pivotal point in the album.  The shift from that funky rock attitude to Glenn’s soulful ballad about life and really what he was experiencing at that time really catches any listener off guard and makes them really start to listen.  This is only further amplified through the incredible instrumental piece which is just bursting with emotions from all spectrums.  The other day in fact, I was listening to this album with my mother and she commented how different this song was.  It would also be a crime to not acknowledge one of Glenn’s greatest performances in his time with Deep Purple.  He’s shown in the past to be a vocalist of many talents, being able to burst into brilliant soulful and hard rock verses while also being able to sing melancholic ballads and this is truly highlighted with This Time Around where he uses his signature soprano voice to deliver an emotionally-driven ballad that can sink through any listener’s heart.  It’s really a treasure and I would say the greatest however there is one song left that I believe truly encompasses Mark 4 at their finest.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kt3wUk0qzyA
1. You Keep On Moving - I mean, what else did you expect?  This song truly just sticks out throughout the entire album as something incredible special and thoughtfully made.  To me, it’s almost like This Time Around and Owed To G mashed into one beautiful song.  It’s got that soulful ballad along with those astounding instrumental sections that really just make a complete package.  I’m always a sucker for David and Glenn’s harmonies and You Keep on Moving is again a beautiful example of how well they compliment each other.  The verse as well is some of the most beautiful songwriting I’ve seen.  One of my favorite parts has to be, “You dance across the seasons to a place where no one goes, where angels fear to tread.”  Just that final phrase where they harmonize on, “where angels fear to tread” never fails to shake me.  I truly believe that this song is not only the best piece of music in this album but also one of the greatest songs produced by Purple.  I know, it’s a hard title to earn but it truly does deserve it for its versatile style that highlights the beautiful elements that the Mark 4 lineup had to offer.  Often an overlooked period in the band’s history, I hope that many will listen to this phenomenal album as a brilliant piece of Deep Purple’s history that holds up just as strong as the day it was released.
Anyway, that became a pretty long post.  Thanks for reading this far and if you’re interested, I also recommend listening to some of Tommy Bolin’s solo albums which are brilliant in their own right.  I really have been enjoying Mark 3 and 4 recently and the energy that they brought to the band and I’m really grateful just how versatile Deep Purple is with each lineup since it really has introduced me to so many great artists who I’d never know beforehand.  In my opinion, that’s what makes it one of the greatest bands to exist.

I saw the Asian that Mark was talking about
I chastined him about picking on people with nice hair cuts. He has a punk look.
And so I've slept and ate and Mark says "wait for you know him?"
"The Columbian Asian? The one that looks like that dude from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Yeah i do"
And hes all oh shit as if that would stick in his head.
And i ask the kid "are you looking for your April O'Neal?" Because i see a connection. She is the niece of my black family from NYC. The granddaughter of Ms Leena from Decatur. I know her. I know him. I know things. I talk to God and not clones.
"Yes I am!"
I tell him she was there Just south of Australia in that bunker the tree had to help that the Russians protected in the first wave. She's African.
I know love. I know people.
If other people can't respect that I don't care but that's my skill. Otherwise I would be dead. Because I've never had a death threat against me unless Mark Anthony was leading around.
But he can't allow a woman the respect she deserves. But he can lead her by herself to a ring of human traffickers and then just be all here you go. Some of the richest most evil people and don't worry the cops are corrupt and I'll bring them over to your house with a loaded gun. Let them point it at you
And i made him drop it from fear. But i need protection and I'm stupid trash.
Anyway his honey be waiting for him.
He is the actor from TNMT 90s movies and wsd kidnapped by Pablo Escobar himself.
And his little lady was kidnapped on Halloween by
No later than 1991. Its 2020. That is 29 years.
That is a long long time to be lost.
Even if they were going to kill me which they were not. I at 845 am proved i cared about one enough to put my man in lock up. And now another to find hid soulmate which DNA4U has checked out.
He was too afraid to check.
So Mark was gonna kill him with his bare hands.
Oddly not for that reason. But because he believes I am stupid.
Im glad our Princess found her man and the sewer boy found his Princess.
I've always loved them both. Its something about their hearts. The way they would talk and it was like they always looked at it when they did speak.
Like they know hearts are fragile but theirs are stronger than mine. I could tell.
I always noticed because I was sick. They didn't have to live like me i Knew. But they would live like me forever longer than me. Although i was happier the short time i had to live like them. They would never experience love like me
But somehow someone would take good care of them both just as i was taken care of by a family that wasn't like mine. A different color and a different culture. Seperated they would feel combined because of their living conditions.
I knew they would both be kidnapped. Every time I sat down and thought about it, i was overcome with pain and misery the sadness was immeasurable
I didn't know her well nor did i know him at all but i felt they were a bigger part of my world, a world i would never want neither would they.
Its a small fucking world sometimes.
That's all i knew. If i had things to do i would feel intense immeasurable pain in my heart.
Otherwise I would have time to cry until it stopped. Time to tell Mark the truth in my head about me and my feelings.
But also he would say "oh not this again. I wasn't kidnapped. I'm with my parents and so are you So shut up"
But I knew they weren't and neither was he and it was a very lonely empty world.
It was full of a living room of furniture in the middle of NYC. I would always look out the window and i never saw any one but maybe her father. He was the only one.
How could i be in a city full of people and only see him? No one else?
I learned to wait and I would eventually see him. Sometimes in his bedroom window looking out, too.
Those days as horrible as they sounded. Those days i knew there was a reason to live. Not that I was loved. Or expected, but I was needed.
I liked most that I was unexpected. It made me feel no pain. Like the wounds in my back behind my heart could heal.
I didn't know why except "those are real people"
I think that is why Mark wants to attack them. Hes been trained to. Everyday by his Alien Clone mother sent to take over the world.
Because when he would watch and listen to around me he only wanted to kill humans. Even Boss.
Its an easy fix as simple as correcting dyslexia. It will take 6 months or so as long as he knows there's an issue and what caused it he will allow his brain to retrain and return to normal.
He doesn't kill off list. He has a list and he will get it from God and he will do that.
Saint Luches was similar. "I don't want to kill them! They're my friends!"
"I know you want them to be but they aren't!!"
But with the DNA4U it was an easy heal fix.
But he would tell me No and i would tell him find but i am right So just remember i told you. This way i could explain if something happened and they sand blasted. Then I would help him understand why.
He wanted me to tell him before. Well everything was fresh and so why explain what i understand if i was wrong? He didn't believe me. So why explain?
Maybe he didn't believe me Because I was wrong. Then i just sat there and talked all kinds of shit for No reason.
It was enough for me to say I hated some one for them to be uncomfortable. To rant on each bad quality if I was wrong would be bad. Like saying someone is ugly and making them feel unloveable because they aren't the face shape or style my soulmate has. If they are human then they have someone that loves what I see as ugly.
"That is her! I remember!" Says TNMT "now we wont kill"
"HAVE to kill"
"So you mean they were just afraid?" Asked Mark
"Yeah" you just gotta pay attention. Humans actually make sense and their reasons and paths connect unlike aliens and clones. Their minds build upon information while clones can't. They make decisions based upon actual events. So yes, they will have Plan B. I killed Pablo Escobar. I walk around without guns or weapons. I would be terrified.
And having been kidnapped already. Having had to live that life and on a piece of dental floss of a connection they rush to get help.
I would be so scared i would be crying.
29 years of hopelessness.
Believe me I KNOW what that feels like. And i can identify some one coming from that emotional direction.
I love me. When no one else will, so i know what i feel like the most.
So I can see those that need the help the most. Because that's what I do.
That's how i found Mark Anthony when I would be in Afghanistan. Afghanistan. I knew how to sniff him out from countries away. Because I knew what it felt like to lose your parents and have no help. He was in Iran. I just followed the feeling.
He's in a mental facility. He checked himself in. On suicide watch. They have a 3 week regimen for him. They said i can see him next week.
We always thought it would be me locked up in a mental hospital. I did. I feared it for so many years. Panic attacks. Not often just sometimes. It wasn't me in trouble. I never guessed it would been him.
Just me. I was the suicidal one that could not handle it. He was always strong. The stronger one of us emotionally.
But tonight two babies got together. And that is a blessing.
For since 2007 i have tried to find out who my soulmate is. Everyday. Every single day. But he always lied
I also tried in 1999-2002
So while it may just be a cheek swab finally done, its truly a miracle to me
And I am pleased.
And it makes a broken aorta valve function proper for just a little while more.

Casio’s G Shock is the new definition of a ‘hybrid’ smartwatch http://ift.tt/2sUdUGs
Hands up if you want a smartwatch that’s water resistant, able to resist forces felt most often by fighter pilots, connects to a smartphone, and looks super-cool on the wrist? We’re confident it’s not just our arm waving about in the air right now. While all these aspects don’t often come together in a single device, watchmaker Casio may have the answer.
Casio recently opened a G Shock store in London’s famous Carnaby Street, and Digital Trends made the trek to meet with Alex Owen, trade marketing executive at Casio, to talk about the company’s future plans. Having already released Android Wear watches, Casio is putting more emphasis on hybrid smartwatches, and will launch the first smart, connected G Shock model in the coming months. What’s more, it turns out a G Shock is pretty packed with cool tech already.
“Casio has always been at the forefront of technology,” Owen said, explaining why it embraced Android Wear early on. “We made the world’s first touchscreen watch, the world’s first weather predicting watch, and the world’s first databank watches; so it’s very natural for Casio to progress into smartwatches. Android Wear gives us so many new opportunities.”
“Smartwatches don’t begin and end with Android Wear.”
Casio has two Android Wear smartwatches, the WSD-F10 and the WSD-F20, which are a part of its Pro-Trek range. However, smartwatches don’t begin and end with Android Wear.
“Smartwatches aren’t going to be for everybody,” Owen said. “There are limitations with battery life at the moment, which is something we’re working to improve; but still, not everyone wants to charge their watch every night.”
But it’s not just battery life that stops people buying Android Wear watches.
“Then there are the aesthetics,” Owen pointed out. “Many prefer a traditional looking watch, so an area we’re focusing on now is Casio Connected, which is a hybrid smartwatch. Our new watches that come out in the fall will be centered around this. They’re designed to bridge the gap between a traditional timepiece and a full-on Android Wear watch. The will have a Bluetooth connection, but without the battery life downsides. Instead, the watches will be solar powered, and will look like a traditional Casio watch.”
Andy Boxall/Digital Trends

Casio Connected watches will self adjust their own time, and add features like a phone finder, multiple alarms, a world time mode, and more — all controlled by an app on the phone. Unfortunately, we shouldn’t expect fitness-tracking features, which are common on competing hybrids, such as those from the Fossil Group. While the beginnings of Casio’s smart technology has been seen in the Ediface range of watches, it’ll come to the G Shock range for the first time in 2017.
You may be familiar with the Casio’s G Shock watches due to their chunky, funky design and ability to withstand plenty of abuse due to impressive water and shock resistance. There’s also a surprising amount of cool technology inside these watches. Owen explained it to us.
“I always felt G shock was a little underrated when it comes to technology,” he said. “Everyone knows they’re tough watches, but few people get to appreciate the additional technology that goes into them.”
A Tough Movement G Shock will resist g forces up to 15G.
We’re not talking about the music-controlling G-Mix G Shock models here. It goes deeper than that. A great example is its Tough Movement tech, which is found in high-end G Shock watches, and combines features like solar charging and automatically updating time. The most recently introduced feature is centrifugal gravity resistance, which goes a step beyond the already comprehensive shock protection.
“If you hit a watch against something with enough force, the internal movement gets pressed very hard against the internal shock absorbers, which affects the shock absorption rate in the future. For Tough Movement watches, each individual part is coated in resin and secured with screws to stop it moving too far when this happens.”
This clever solution means a Tough Movement G Shock will resist g forces up to 15G. Yes, 15G.The world’s best jet fighter pilots will deal with a maximum of about 12G, meaning we’d be very unlucky to experience anything close to the watch’s limit in our lives.
Delve deeper into Casio’s technology and we come to a unique solution dealing with misaligned watch hands. This is where the hands don’t always point exactly to where they should – due to impact or magnetism — which is not only frustrating, but can cause inaccurate time readings.
Andy Boxall/Digital Trends
“With Tough Movement, each cog in the movement has a series of holes that align with an LED light and a sensor. Every 60 minutes, it checks to make sure they all match up. If there are any discrepancies, it simply automatically realigns.
It’s a neat, no-bother alternative that’s way more reliable than a manual reset option, and makes sure the watch on your wrist is always as accurate as possible. Just remember, all this is squeezed into a wristwatch. Yes, a G Shock is hardly small, shy and retiring; but it’s still a pretty tight space for a lot of tech, and we’re not finished yet.
With a full solar charge, the watch could be hidden in a drawer for 22 and a half months, and still be working when you took it out.”
Solar charging is a major feature on Casio watches, and one which will be part of the new Casio Connected models too. You may assume it operates using the crystal over the face, but that wouldn’t fit in with Casio’s dedicated to toughness. On a Casio watch with solar charging, the photovoltaic cells are printed onto the watch face itself.
“There’s no point in putting a piece of glass in there that’s going to break,” Owen pointed out. “We have one of the best power reserves in the industry too, extending up to 23 months. With a full solar charge, the watch could be hidden in a drawer for 22 and a half months, and still be working when you took it out.”
For a single 24-hours day’s use, the little cell needs to see sunlight for just eight minutes, 30 minutes of sunlight through a window, or eight hours of indoor lighting. Incorporating solar power into its watches is an important step in the toughening process for Casio, because it removes the need for battery changes, which would disturb the delicate o-rings and other gaskets necessary for water proofing. Even the screws holding the watch together are important. They’re all tightened to a specific torque setting, ensuring the body meets shock proofing requirements, which is why sometimes the screw heads don’t all “match” across the body and point in the same direction.
Casio’s Connected G Shock hybrid smartwatches coming later this year will include the Tough Movement, meaning we can be sure it stays operational and in one piece, almost regardless of what we’re doing. Water resistance, high levels of durability, and long-lasting batteries are usually wish-list features on our gadgets, but Casio’s hybrid watches will tick all those boxes.
“Casio Connected is going to be our big thing for the end of the year,” Owen said.
Learning about the tech that’s already inside a G Shock, with the prospect of more to come, makes us excited for them too.

Devs Alerted to Long-Delayed Android Wear 2.0 Reboot
Google is advancing with its since quite a while ago postponed dispatch of Android Wear 2.0, a working framework for its rising wearables biological community, which at long last could decouple the smartwatch from the cell phone.
A notice to engineers expresses that Android Wear 2.0 will dispatch toward the beginning of February, Android Police revealed Wednesday. The notice cautions engineers utilizing a legacy implanted APK system that those specific applications were not improved for Android 2.0.
It trains engineers to take after the Android 2.0 App Distribution documentation to ensure their application can be found in the new on-watch Play Store.
Google apparently has been taking a shot at two new smartwatches, code-named "Angelfish" and "Swordfish," and their discharge is relied upon to take after the new Android 2.0 discharge.
Certainty Question
The arrangements come at a basic time for producers contending in the wearables class. Its inability to thrive has brought about budgetary interruption and contention as of late.
Apple CEO Tim Cook mixed feedback a month ago, when he pushed back on IDC's piece of the overall industry figures in the pre-occasion smartwatch class.
Regardless of whether Apple has been straightforward on offers of its exceedingly touted Apple Watch - one of the priciest wearables in the business - has been the subject of hypothesis among industry watchers.
The Apple Watch depends vigorously on collaborations with the iPhone.
Another smartwatch industry improvement was Fitbit's obtaining a month ago of Pebble's protected innovation and key staff individuals. There already had been gossipy tidbits that an arrangement was in progress, as Pebble was battling under the heaviness of soak money related obligation and restricted appropriation.
"The expansion of independent applications and cell network are positively ventures in the correct heading, as the division of smartwatch and cell phone is critical to smartwatch reception," said Jishesh Ubrani, a senior research examiner for WW cell phone trackers at IDC.
Past that, different increments - like Play Store support and informing - are vital, he told LinuxInsider.
Mark Unaware
The absence of Android Wear marking in a large number of the new item presentations is a worry, be that as it may, Ubrani said.
"The fruitful executions of Android Wear so far have been exceptionally specific and concentrated on the watch, design or way of life brand instead of the Android Wear marking," he brought up.
For instance, the Michael Kors smartwatch concentrates vigorously on mold, while Casio's line of watches concentrate more on the outside and sports-related elements, as per Ubrani.
Simply a week ago, Casio declared at CES that the WSD-F20 Smart Outdoor watch, a wearable that elements a low power GPS, will make a big appearance in April on the Android Wear 2.0 stage.
Michael Kors reported its Access line of smartwatches through an organization with Google's Android Wear.
"Google is attempting to bolster countless and plans with Android Wear 2.0," said Paul Teich, key investigator at Tirias Research.
The long postpones likely were because of interoperability testing and bug fixes, he told LinuxInsider.
"They need the wear 2.0 piece and center applications to act a long time before the discharge, and that implies running on a wide range of stages and playing great with an extensive variety of cell phones," Teich included.
The smartwatch market is as yet sitting tight for the executioner application to take it to the following level, watched Kevin Krewell, likewise a central investigator at Tirias.
"The usefulness of a smartwatch is fine for essential warnings as a cell phone fringe," he told LinuxInsider, "yet it needs to get past the fundamentals to excuse the cost.

Android Wear 2.0 is ready for a gaggle of recent watches
It’s a piece beat up, however, my OLED-ready LG G Watch R continues to be going sturdy (and bright) after nearly years. So It’s correct information that, after being not on time via system defects, Android Wear 2.zero is rolling out this week to that version, the 2015 LG Watch Urban, and the more latest New Balance RunIQ.
Android Wear
LG stated it will roll out the replace to each the Urban and G Watch R this week, and the Urban 2nd edition will get the OS “inside the starting of Might also.” RunIQ proprietors, in the meantime, will see the update “no later than April 14th.”
Android 2.0, which released in February with LG’s new Watch Fashion and Watch Game, become purported to come to older gadgets like mine several weeks after release. However, at the same time as Google recently managed to get it operating on the Fossil Q Founder, Casio WSD-F10 and $1,500 Tag Heuer Linked, it stated that “for other devices … [it] is presently being behind schedule because of a bug in the final testing.”
With that constant, seven watches are approximate to get updates, leaving any other 12 with owners still waiting to listen about Android 2.zero — together with devices from Huawei, Moto, and ASUS. New functions of the OS consist of a refreshed, less complicated-to-use UI, standalone apps and watch faces, and Google Assistant, the brand new, AI-powered version of Google Now. Optimistically, with the update malicious program reputedly solved, we’re going to see launch dates for all the one’s models quickly.
Released For Android Wear gadgets
Properly, this is no motive to move, as a substitute, it is a TIME to seize the future by using the WRIST and run in the direction of it with actually not anything but wish in our hearts. If the subtle pointers have been now not sufficient, what we are about to talk about is the modern day accessory to the “clever” generation which takes its shape as the smartwatches we’ve got grown to love. however what exactly is considered a “clever” watch? I keep in mind pretty some years ago, Casio Watches Launched a line of speak watches that could inform the wearer the time with only a push of a button. Does that healthy into the “smartwatch” category? Thankfully, it does not. Perhaps if those watches ought to send texts, make calls, examine e-mails, a song our health or even remember our steps, it might be taken into consideration into the organization. All kidding apart though, let’s take a brief observe what is set to move our manner within the today’s smartwatch news.
As we all realize and in all likelihood have palms on experience, the android platform is slowly ingesting our world wrapped in fancy tech toys. The today’s addition to the apparently limitless list is the android television (but that is a one-of-a-kind day). While Google wasn’t satisfied with simply infecting mobile phones with their magic, they turned to watches and created some of the first-rate gadgets the sector will likely see for years; smartwatches. Aptly precise as Android Wear for obvious reasons, smartwatches commenced stoning up throughout the globe thru various main cellphone brands. Now, an Android Put on update offers these watches a makeover like in no way earlier than. Initially, When introduced to the public, Google did no longer want to scare the customers away with a complex interface which caused reasonably stupid, uninteresting watches however because the demand for futuristic, more capable gadgets grew, so the idea of the developers.
The latest replace now brings three faces to the watch: Bits, Collectively and Below Armor. The “Bits” face adds circles that show a number of factors such as unread texts and emails, ignored calls, weather forecast and scheduled events which are well located across the digital-analog watch. “Together” modifications the show of the watch into your private drafting board wherein you could proportion pics, doodles, and emoji. some other tackle a health app, the “Under Armor” face makes the smartwatch your non-public instructor and doesn’t assume it to head easily on you. It allows the user to set schooling sessions for exercises and calculates the gap traveled, the quantity of steps taken or the energy that were burned at the same time as engaging in these activities. The top three android smart watches inside the marketplace right now are the LG Urbane, the Moto 360 and the Samsung Tools 2 in no precise order.
5 New functions on Android Wear 2.zero for Android App Development
The operating machine is being optimized for fingers-loose operations. We deliver you five new functions on Android Put on 2.zero for Android App Development.
A new App Launcher
The app launcher has been redesigned to house the round screen format and look uncluttered. Device interaction has been made consumer-friendly closer to the new app launcher modifications. Pushing the side button will display apps in an arc and A brand new movement drawer at the lowest of the show will offer context-specific actions much like those we find on the cell phone.
Notification Get right of entry to
the new replace will unclutter the interface, especially for spherical interface with the Well-placed cards. Smaller icons are displayed in place of big messages and the notifications are less difficult control with a development bar on the lowest display displaying what number of playing cards are left within the stack. Whilst the user increases the watch to activate it, the notification card will be first pulled up earlier than it is hidden. Bottom to the top swiping motion will enable the person to typically view the notifications. The cards themselves were redesigned with light textual content on a black history and darkish textual content with white historical past. The two alternatives are presented as a battery saving shifting and reduce the intrusion of vibrant notification.
Android is becoming health friendly and with new smartwatches, Google is exploring fresh scope in health programs. the new Put on update comes with Google suit integration and has A brand new feature for automated activity reputation. the consumer can open applicable apps for walking, on foot or bike analyzing and sensing the activity the applicable app will open up. the user can also release fitness playlist to pay attention to tune in their preference without turning on the Device. song apps may be accessed without delay from the home screen, without turning on the Tool. The Google suit app itself can now automatically stumble on interest and log it. Information sharing among devices and apps have been overhauled.
Messaging Alternatives
Messaging is a constrained hobby at the tiny screen as of now and with the new keyboard and voice texting alternatives, it is probable to get higher with model 2.0. A small keyboard can be swiped onscreen to type messages and handwriting reputation allows a person to write unmarried letters or join phrases for messaging. smart replies from Gmail might be reachable with three likely responses as prompts to send a quick reply to contact. by means of tapping o, the message consumer can Get right of entry to options to respond to message.
Higher Keyword
With the new edition, users can now type text without delay into the watch, that is a welcome update. There may be an aid for handwriting reputation and Swype-Fashion inputs with conventional typing alternative. users can dictate their responses, although inside the preview version only brief messages are presently working smoothly. But, considering the fact that the wearable Tool format is for short movements, this need to not pose a big trouble. It is easy to Get admission to saved responses on the wear and tear which activates 3 contextually relevant responses. That is a smart integration from Gmail’s smart replies.
The new version is possible to be Launched inside the fourth region of this 12 months and will integrate with the brand new Android app Development Nougat and come on new gadgets. The developer preview is to be had for setting up and testing the new functions on programs, but upgrades are but awaited before the release date to excellent music the new machine.

One Piece episode 1099
ahoy, spoiler thoughts below!
Kaku amused me. I vibe with his enthusiasm.
Seeing the numbered doors for the Seraphim was neat. I don't remember if that was in the manga or not, but it presents some idea of potential order of creation and/or access to whatever is needed to create Seraphim.
I was weirdly curious about the workers on Egghead. Like, as far as I understand, those are just civilian scientists and researchers. So, (1) I'm interested in what those people do on Egghead, and (2) fascinated with how initially there was a sense of "kick his ass, Atlas" when, technically, those are top government agents! After, Lucci had struck Atlas, someone did question why a government agent was attacking, but up to that point -- it seemed the sentiment "you don't mess with us." Even if you're from the government! What kind of scientists and researchers are these!
On that note, the attack on Atlas was more upsetting here than in the manga to me. It seemed...more vicious? I don't know if it was the sparks and such, but it seemed a little more horrible.
And on that note, I found the mechanical/robotic nature of Atlas really interesting. Lucci calls her a clone, but it doesn't seem like a lot of the Vegapunks are entirely flesh and blood. Of course, clone, in the context of One Piece, may have different meaning. It's that bloodline element, I think, that sounds like DNA and can be copied and manipulated. Unless I'm mixing up the bloodline element and the Germa science. Hmmm, need to refresh up on One Piece science.
I feel like I had one or two other thoughts, but I can't think of them right now.
Maybe something like how, it would be weird to be watching One Piece now without background info, and yet it provides background info. Though some of it is refresher info, too.
Also, surprisingly very little actually happened this episode.
Oh! I did think the evacuation of the CP0 and co. was clearer here than in the manga. But again, I'm not sure if that's just because I don't remember the event clearly now or if it actually was clearer.
Okay. I think that's all.

One Piece episode 1097
thoughts/reactions below! ahoy spoilers!
as expected, I cried (again)
this brought back a lot of the same feelings and thoughts I had when the chapters released
new explanation section; it's fascinating to watch because it (and when it was Robin and Chopper) did the job of giving character and story background, which for a show as long and interwoven as One Piece, is actually quite useful, especially if there's a new viewership (of course, spoilers will be prominent)
I do not begrudge Saul being alive because (1) seeing Robin happy-cry was worth it, (2) having someone from Robin's past still be alive is a nice thing for her; not everyone you knew has died; I'm glad for that for her
I appreciated the explanation of the Vegapunks and how Punk Records works (I admit I didn't fully remember)
knowing about Kuma's backstory makes the "these three founded the Revolutionary Army" hit differently than when I read it
Dragon is certainly interesting
the scene where everyone's reacting to Shaka's story is still a fav

a few One Piece episode 1101 thoughts
spoilers ahoy!
once again: animation <3 <3. I bet the animators have fun with Gear 5. Also the addition of sound really adds a lot.
talking about the Seraphim and green blood reminds me why I liked this arc when it started in the manga; there's my good narrative questionable science

One Piece episode 1100
ahoy! spoiler thoughts below
First: the animation <3 <3 <3
I still feel the way the activation of Gear 5 in animation is a little...extreme. It's so over the top and gives the impression (to me) that it's very ~electrical~ and striking. While in the manga, it just...happens. It feels quiet. But since the way Lucci activating his awakened form was animated with the same intensity, I'm starting to accept it's just the way awakening is animated.
Second: Watching Vegapunk's explanation about devil fruits got me thinking about what if he's right, or somewhat right. At the time, when I read it, I was less sure that Vegapunk's theory was correct. To be fair, I'm still not entirely convinced that his theory that devil fruits are just alternate futures is the answer. I think there's probably a connection between time and devil fruits; that is, the possibility of becoming this or that, does factor into how devil fruits work. (Heck there *is* a devil fruit's that's entire function is essentially alternate timeline potential.)
But what watching this got me thinking was what if it's more correct than I thought. That would beg the question of where devil fruits came from and/or who or what grew them. (I'm still holding out on the one piece or whatever's one Laugh Tale having to do with a tree or something that grows.)
The reason I started considering if it was more correct than I assumed was because of how Vegapunk talked about it. What he was saying was very similar to that quote from Roger that first showed up when Dragon was introduced. The idea that certain things are inevitable and as long as such-and-such is there, so-and-so will not die.
I think that's it. You can tell (or it seems like it) that the animators have fun with Gear 5.
ADDITION: just remembered: seeing the animation for the next recap episode really made me notice how different the current arc is being animated.

One Piece episode 1096
manga (ch. 1109) and anime spoilers
I really enjoyed the extended "Luffy and Chopper try to figure out how to make the robot move" scene. Very cute. (Docking didn't do much, you two.)
Could definitely see the padding with the Ohara recaps. But overall, it was a lot of "let's cry about Ohara and the legacy of inherited knowledge". This will continue next week.
Also, there's something nicely poetic (symmetrical?) about Vegapunk's intro in the anime coinciding with his apparent death in the manga.

One Piece episode 1094; spoilers for ep.
a lot of the same stuff amused here as it did in the manga: Nami's future treasure (yes! gem-flowers!) and Zoro's response to Caribou
really loving the whole sci-fi backgrounds <3
did the police pacifista stop because the four were unrecognizable or the other reason the manga recently revealed?
the wondrousness of escalators :D
Chopper: I wonder why he (Kuma) decided to become a cyborg? Me: oh, I don't know, for reasons that make me cry
overall, fun. it's neat seeing it in motion with all the cool sci-fi setting. I'm having fun with it.

One Piece episode 1093
that animation, am I right?
spoiler reaction thoughts; manga spoilers referenced
Has the way haki manifests changed? i.e. how it's animated? that red lightning bit, was that haki? cause Law says using haki will override the feminization.
I don't remember there being so much to the fight. I recall it being like half a chapter? But it was neat to see more of Law's crew even if I'm still not going to remember a lot of them
;_; about not seeing Sulong Bepo
In terms of content, I'm pretty neutral on Law (he's fine but there's definitely characters I'm more interested in, but really it's because I feel he kind of sidelines the Straw Hats sometimes) and I'm very nope! about Blackbeard's whole crew so this was um an interesting watch. Though it was helped a lot by the stellar animation ohmygosh
Very much in love with getting a truncated cover story
Robin's "I didn't realize it was so dramatic" to the Pudding summary >D
think that's it

One Piece episode 1090 thoughts:
spoilers for the ep but allusions to manga spoilers; nothing directly stated but I'm referencing it vaguely
looking forward to the fandom's reactions to the new characters
I see what you did there Toei with the little info dump on Bonney
I just can't read Bonney's sitting there topless as fanservice; it just reads more as "I don't care if I'm topless", but this might be me knowing what I do about her. Though even in the manga, it felt more careless than sexualized, but maybe that's just me.
mech shark was a lot scarier in this
having a Fishman crew member is useful
Bonney asking about Luffy's hair...
ADDITION: loved the older crew members doing a lot of the legwork - Robin "get us out of here" Jinbe "franky take the helm" Franky "i've got this" thanks team over 30+
