I'm super excited to move! My twin and their boyfriend lived in Oregon (he's from there) and they both loved it so much and can't wait to go back.

Prompt 34: 4 am to cuddle
You’re the type of person who can sleep through almost anything. With a superhero, speedster, with a fast metabolism, for a fiance, it’s a finely tuned skill you’ve developed over a course of late night entries, and many midnight snacks. Wally on the other hand wakes up at the slightest sound. You blame it on paranoia, he blames it on the ham, egg, and cheese sandwiches he eats before bed.
Either way, when Wally shakes you awake at four am, you consider killing him. With a groan and a glare you turn to stare at him. There are dark circles under his eyes. Your voice is laced with sleep as you ask, “What?”
He points to the other side of the bed. And with exaggerated effort you crawl across him to stare down at the other side. Sitting there, with his tail wagging is the puppy. Your eyes slide to Wally, and he shrugs.
The puppy, Bentley, had been a rescue Wally had found during one of his missions. He’d shown up with the puppy tucked in his jacket and you hadn’t been able to say no. You’d been doing your best to train him; keep him off the furniture, and in his own dog bed, but that hadn’t stopped late night weakness.
Shrugging, you say, “It’s up to you.”
And Wally smiles, before reaching down to pick Bentley up, and place him in between the two of you. Wrapping his arm around you and Bentley, Wally whispers, “Little bugger woke us up at four am to cuddle.”
You huff, “Just like his dad.”
Wally just laughs, and you fall back asleep.
