You were in the middle of a fit of despair when Yeonjun entered the room. He had intended to surprise you by bringing you breakfast in bed before you woke up, but stopped when he saw you standing in the middle of the room, awake and about to burst into tears.

"Oh, good morning," he greeted, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he sensed the panic with which you looked at him. Slowly, he scanned the room with eyes wider than usual, but his brow furrowed even more when he found nothing out of the ordinary. "Why are you standing there, is something wrong?"

You shook your head, glancing sideways at the red stain that had awakened you in horror that morning. You hadn't even had time to clean the mess off your clothes, and you hated the fact that you couldn't move without risking your boyfriend seeing the worst of you. Even though you knew that Yeonjun wouldn't judge you for such a thing, you couldn't suppress the desire to disappear and send your soul to the other side of the world.

Yeonjun read your body language and the gesture did not go unnoticed, he approached you curiously, craning his neck to see what was troubling you. "Heh," he exclaimed as he looked at the unexpected red circle painted over the spot where you had been sleeping minutes before. "Is that...?"

You let out an embarrassed groan and looked down at the floor, your face flushed. "I'm sorry," you whispered and squeezed your legs together, suddenly feeling exposed and completely vulnerable.

Yeonjun let out a soft laugh as he placed the tray of food on the bedside table and walked over to you with a gentle smile. "Oh, did that wake you, dear?" he murmured, leaning down to massage your shoulders. "It's just a little blood, no big deal. Let me clean it up for you."

Without another word he turned and started to remove the sheets from the bed, his movements were calm and he didn't seem to be affected by your little accident in the least. This for some reason made you feel even more embarrassed and you remained unable to look away from him, not knowing whether to apologize again or take advantage of the fact that his back was turned to escape to the bathroom. When he noticed that you didn't move, Yeonjun stopped and looked at you over his shoulder. "Go ahead and get cleaned up, I'll be here if you need anything."

"It's okay, I'm sure you're disgusted, I'll do it myself." You said and moved to take the sheet out of his hands, but Yeonjun stepped back.

"It doesn't gross me out," he replied, shaking his head with a flirtatious smile. "God, you're so cute."

"But I..."

Yeonjun put his finger to his lips, signaling you to shut up and stop talking. "You really should get cleaned up and changed," he murmured as he turned around and finished removing the sheets. His words were delivered with a smile, his tone soft and reassuring. "I'll have the bed clean before you've had a chance to finish showering, then we'll have a nice breakfast."

"Oh my God," Soobin's face turned bright red as he looked at the stain on the bed and on your shorts. He had just woken up, he was still half asleep and had a hard time processing what had happened.

Your body was lying next to him, your face buried in the pillow that covered part of your face as you slept. You didn't seem to be aware of the situation. One of your arms was draped over your head, giving you a very calm and peaceful appearance. He couldn't allow you to continue sleeping in this state, but he knew how sensitive you were to this kind of accident, so he thought twice before making any move.

"Woah, this... " He stood up carefully, not wanting to alarm you. He stood still for a moment, wondering how to make it look like he didn't care that you were having your period in bed. Should he wake you up, say good morning, or let you sleep on? I had no idea how to handle such a situation.

You slowly opened your eyes as you felt him shake your shoulders. "Are you okay?" Soobin murmured, his voice still hoarse and tired. He looked down at the stains again, unable to help himself. "You had a little accident, honey."

"What?" you asked, your eyes still watery from sleep. With a look of confusion on your face, you looked down at the stained sheets and quickly understood what had happened, but felt too ashamed and embarrassed to say anything coherent right away. "I... oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't think I'd be starting again so soon. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'll change the sheets right away."

Soobin couldn't help but laugh a little when he saw how embarrassed you were. Anyway, he gave you a kiss on the cheek and cuddled you a little against his chest to comfort you before helping you out of bed. "It's okay, I promise. I'm not mad at you. It's totally normal. I'll change the sheets and then I can make you some tea."

"L-let me help you!" You exclaimed as Soobin began to remove the sheets and blankets from the bed, revealing the stain under the mattress. You froze at the sight of the blood on the mattress and felt your stomach drop. "Oh my God," you muttered, staring at the stain. "Is the mattress ruined?"

"Hey, don't worry, really," Soobin said again, trying to sound reassuring. But seeing your embarrassment made him nervous, and he didn't know how to handle the situation. He tried to focus on the task at hand. "Let me wash the sheets and we'll see what we can do..." He grabbed the sheets from the bed and headed for the laundry room, giving you room to process what had happened.

"Beomgyu, stay out of the room," you shouted as you looked at the sheets with an expression of pure horror. You knew something was wrong when you woke up with the familiar stabbing pain in your belly, at first you went into denial and refused to believe that the wetness you felt between your legs was a product of your period, but when you got out of bed and saw the blood stained sheets, you took it for granted that this was going to be a very, very long day.

At least you were lucky that Beomgyu was in the bathroom and not in the bedroom when you woke up. But if only he'd listen to you for once.....

"What, why, I'm coming in."

"I told you to stay outside," you repeated as you saw him enter the room. You shivered slightly and couldn't help but feel embarrassed at the thought of someone seeing the mess and stain on your sheets. Beomgyu came over and stood next to you, showing her surprise at seeing the red stain on the bed.

"Woah, that... that's a big one. Did that really come from you?"

You gave him a nasty look, the embarrassment more than you could bear. You wanted him to go away, to leave the room, but you knew Beomgyu well enough to know how unlikely that would be.

"Yes, it's... it's from me," you whispered. "It's... it's my period," you added embarrassed and Beomgyu looked at you as if you were a stranger.

"I know, silly," he laughed and reached up to ruffle your hair, giving you a playful smile. "I can't believe Missy made such a mess," he joked, walking over to the edge of the bed. "Anyway, let's get this cleaned up. I doubt you want a permanent stain on this fancy bed."

Your face turned red at his teasing. You examined your stained sheets and felt your eyes fill with tears for no reason. "Please, Beomgyu, go away. Please, I'll clean up by myself."

"Hey, hey, relax, what's the big deal? It's no big deal, I swear. Leave it to me, I'll take care of it," he replied, now in a lighter and friendlier tone.

The embarrassment you felt about your body and the fact that your menstruation had made itself known in such a way faded as you saw the compassion and naturalness with which Beomgyu looked at you. You nodded weakly and silently thanked her.

"Am I not an adult?" he muttered to himself as he took the wet sheets and wrapped them in his arms. You tried to approach him to help him, but Beomgyu waved you away with his hands. "No, no, no, go take a shower and come back later. I'll take this and..." He paused and leaned over to take a closer look at the stain that had also been left on the mattress.

"Oh, that..."

"Wait, wait, wait," he interrupted, turning to look at you with a smile that, instead of reassuring you, made you nervous. "Don't worry about the stain. I'll turn the mattress over and no one will notice." He bent down and grabbed the corner of the mattress, ready to lift it up and flip it over, but stopped when he noticed you looking at him in horror.

"Okay miss, time to take a shower while I do my job," he said and walked over to you. Smiling, he put his arm around your shoulder and led you out of the room. "Come on, my little mess maker."

˗ˏˋ taehyun ˎˊ˗

"Are you okay?" Taehyun asked in a hoarse voice, opening one eye to look at the clock. It was 4 am and he could hear you pacing frantically around the room, muttering curses under your breath. He heard you approach the bed and took the opportunity to go back to sleep, but it wasn't more than ten seconds before your silence startled him. "Y/n?"

"Everything's fine. But..." You groaned and struggled with how to explain the little surprise painted on the sheets, staring at his back in panic and swallowing saliva. It was the first time this had happened to you in his presence and you didn't know how to handle the situation the way it should have been handled.

When Taehyun saw that you didn't continue talking, he turned to you and you silently pointed at the spot next to him. He followed the direction of your finger and looked quickly into your eyes, trying to hide his surprise and not make you feel more embarrassed than you seemed to be.

"I guess this was unplanned," he said calmly, as if talking to himself. "We'll have to clean that up."

Your cheeks turned bright red and you did your best not to let the intensity of his gaze affect you. Taehyun's newly awakened eyes made it harder and you couldn't think of the right words to say, so you just nodded silently.

He mimicked your action. After getting out of bed and putting on a t-shirt, he turned back to you and looked at the stain out of the corner of his eye. "It's no big deal though," he said, giving you a small smile. "No need to be embarrassed about a perfectly normal biological function."

"Thanks, but actually I can do it myself," you replied in a whisper, the thought of him having to clean up your mess making you very uncomfortable.

"I know you can," Taehyun said, still speaking in a calm, neutral tone. "But I'll do it myself." He bent down to pick up the sheets, his movements quick and efficient as he left the room. After a few minutes he returned with clean sheets and a damp cloth, which he used to clean the stain on the mattress. He worked in silence, his face still sleepy.

Without even knowing how to speak, you approached him and left a gentle touch on his back. "I'm... going to take a shower. I'm sorry and... thank you."

"There's nothing to be sorry for," he replied without turning to look at you. He stood in front of the mattress for a few more seconds, quietly wiping the stain and putting the clean sheets back on the bed. After a moment he looked up and said, "You should take a shower. I'll be done before you know it."

˗ˏˋ huening kai ˎˊ˗

When Kai saw the look on your face when you saw him, the enthusiasm with which he entered the room faded. You were leaning over the bed, trying to pull back the sheets, the stains on which made it impossible for you to sleep again this morning. The fact that your friend returned from the kitchen faster than expected prevented you from avoiding this embarrassing situation.

Kai jumped back in surprise when he realized what was going on. His eyes widened in shock as he didn't know what to say or how to react. "Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no!" he said, his voice high-pitched and full of panic as he stumbled into the room. "What are we going to do? Did this come unexpectedly?"

"Yes, I'm sorry," you said in panic and embarrassment. "I'll, I'll take care of it, get out of here."

"No, no, I won't leave you!" Kai said, a mixture of exaggeration and concern in his voice. "I'll just... we'll fix it. We'll clean it up. It's okay, we'll take care of it." He began to pull the sheets off the bed, his movements frantic and unsteady as he tried to remove them quickly. Once the sheets were off, he looked down at the mattress, his eyes widening like saucers when he saw the stain.

"The damn thing's still there," you exclaimed as you looked at the scene in disbelief, your voice changing from panic to horror.

"No problem, we'll fix it. Relax," Kai said, trying to sound reassuring as he frantically searched his brain for an answer and you covered your face in embarrassment. "Let's do this, I'll clean up while you shower and when you come out, we can change the sheets," Kai continued, shaking his head. "I don't know what to say, but it's not a problem, I'm here to help you. I'll, well, I'll clean this up and you go take a shower, okay?"

a/n. i’m still giggling at the fact that bruno mars collected all the idols like a damn pokémon trainer. also i wrote it in 7 minutes while waiting at the bus stop bye

summary. your boyfriend comes home after the bruno mars concert, tired and drunk… and so so in love

warnings. might be a lil suggestive? depends how you look at it. a bit of skinship ^_^ + brief alcohol mention

the door opened so quietly, causing you to wonder if it’s your imagination or not. soft thuds of foot steps and the sound of your boyfriend’s humming made you rub your eyes, slumber slowly washing off you. peeking at the clock you smiled softly: 3:29am.

the slight light peeking through the door, coming from the bathroom accompanying by the rustle of water running caused you to shift a bit, to make place for yeonjun in your bed.

in no time the light turned off and yeonjun walked lazily into the room, sighing.

“hi baby” you murmured, voice a bit raspy.

“oh, did i wake you up? i’m sorry” if you thought your voice was raspy then after hearing him, you realised it’s nothing compared to his. you giggled, shaking your head.

“nope, i was waiting for you” you hummed, patting the place next to you.

but yeonjun plopped down on you, placing his head on your tummy with a dramatic sigh of relief.

“that’s good. after the concert we went to have some drinks with the guys, there were so many friends of mine. they insisted i stayed but i said i have to go back home to my girl” yeonjun hummed lazily, words barely audible due to the volume of it and the fact he was muffled by your pyjama t-shirt. when he talked you felt vibrations spreading through your body, stomach filling with butterflies… maybe also because of the nickname he used.

“you’re so sweet. how was the concert though?” you asked, accepting the fact he won’t move anytime soon. yeonjun normally is clingy, but after having alcohol in his system he’s the definition of clingy. one of his hands grabbed yours and placed it on his head, signalling you to play with his hair. the other pulled your shirt a bit and he started drawing small doodles on the skin of your stomach.

“it was… so… amazing. is it what moas feel like? i thought i was dreaming. bruno was amazing… the way he sung… he was so charismatic! he even said he missed us… in korean. aish… i’ll never hear his songs the same way again. the live version was just… woah” he sighed dreamily, the post-concert blues settling in.

you played with his hair, smiling fondly. gradually he started dozing off, breath turning more stable and soft.

you felt yourself getting drowsy again too when yeonjun suddenly started humming a song. at first you couldn’t hear which one but then you realised it.

“cause you make me feel like i've been locked out of heaven~” he sung quietly against your stomach “for too loooong~”

you scoffed, the action making him move a bit. you could feel the way he smiled against your skin, hands wrapping around you a bit tighter.

“can i just stay here…?” he hummed.

“spend the rest of your days here?” you asked amused, causing him to grin.

“mhm” a quiet murmur leaving his lips.

“mkay, you can… but if i wake up sore in the morning, you’re giving me a massage” you joked and continued to play with his hair.

with a pleasant warmth spreading in your heart you fell asleep, joining yeonjun in his peaceful slumber.

cute, you thought to yourself as you pressed your legs together and rubbed your face, accidentally smearing your lipgloss a little beyond your lips. but it only made you look imperfectly prettier. that's what yeonjun thought, eyeing the way your lips looked— plush and soft n’ sparkly as you smiled at him.

“you're good, jun,” you hummed after his take, throwing him another smile as you shifted your focus from the computer onto him. you couldn't tell if it was the new ambiance lighting that was recently installed in the studio or just your imagination, but, was he blushing?

“thank you.” he muttered, running a finger over his bottom lip. reaching out towards the pencil, he began scribbling something on his lyric sheet. “can I try that again?”

“of course.”

you were refreshing, yeonjun thought to himself. the way you shot him encouraging nods and hums of approval— he felt like he was being highlighted in ways that he never thought could make him shy. and after another take, he saw you sucking in a breath, looking at him with a raised eyebrow, as if to say, ‘it's perfect.’

you could see him pressing his lips together. if he wasn't blushing before, he was definitely now.

“fuck,” you blinked with a slight chuckle. ironically, what you were about to say next was exactly what he felt like, ears growing pink as he fingered the pendant of the necklace around his neck, eyes glazing over your oddly sweet features.

“i've never heard anything that sounds like you before.”

୨୧ word count: 1.7k ୨୧ genre: fluff, angust ୨୧ a/n: gosh, i love that you guys are so kind. an apology for the eternity this took and thank you so much, i hope you like it<3. [inglish is not my native language, so sorry in advance].

You were thrilled about this vacation, to the extent that you had trouble sleeping the night before. Traveling was a rare opportunity for you, and having the chance to not only travel, but also to have your boyfriend accompany you, made it a truly special occasion.

You believed that nothing could go wrong, and yet suddenly you found yourself at the airport, about to board your flight, with a nagging sense of nervousness and foreboding. Your cloud of excitement disappeared as soon as you became aware of reality. The prospect of boarding a fast aircraft and spending numerous hours high above the ground, away from the familiar surroundings, and at the mercy of the sky made you feel vulnerable and exposed. What would happen if the plane were to crash? What would happen if a control failure occurred? What else could go wrong?

˗ˏˋ yeonjun ˎˊ˗

A gentle touch on your hand brought you out of your thoughts. Looking to your side, you met Yeonjun's gaze, his lips forming a soft smile and the corners of his eyes crinkled as if seeing you caused him tenderness. You squeezed his hand and looked ahead as you swallowed your saliva, feeling even more nervous as you felt your footsteps leading you closer to the catastrophic end your fear had predicted.

"Excited much?" Yeonjun broke the silence that surrounded them. He seemed quite calm, oblivious to your unease as he drew circles with his thumb on your palm.

"A little," you replied, your tone almost as uncertain and shaky as your heart. You looked down at your hands and then back up at him, but this time you couldn't stop your fingers from trembling. Yeonjun studied your face and tilted his head with a smile, stroking the back of your neck with his free hand. "Hey, what's wrong?"

You laughed nervously. "Let's better go, Jun. Let's go home."

"Huh? Are you crying?" By them, your footsteps had stopped and you blinked, trying to get the moisture out of your eyes. Yeonjun looked sideways and then fixed his gaze on your face with an apprehensive expression. "Don't you want to get on the plane, honey? Is that it?" he asked and you nodded. "Oh, it's scary, isn't it?"

"I'm getting scared. I don't want to do this. I don't want to get on a plane. I don't want to go anywhere. Please, let's go home."

He didn't know what to say. He slipped his hand behind your back and guided you to walk in front of him, the warmth of his breath caressing your neck. You tried to stop when you saw the huge plane in your field of vision, but Yeonjun's voice stopped you. "Don't worry, the plane won't fall from the sky, I swear. It's a safe place, you'll always be with me. All you have to do is let me take care of you..." He planted a quick kiss on your cheek. "You'll see, it's going to be a great trip, we're going to have a great time. Just relax and focus on me."

You let out a sigh, a little, just a little, calmer.

˗ˏˋ soobin ˎˊ˗

You could feel Soobin's eyes watching you out of the corner of your eye, his silence annoying you, but it was far from your concern. You were too busy trying to stay calm to talk to him. You could feel your hands sweating and your thoughts slipping down a very dark path. You wondered if you could continue the journey, or if it would be better to wait for the future, when things would be a little easier.

Soobin kept looking at you. He could sense your nervousness as you both made your way to the boarding area, and although it seemed normal to him at first, a wave of concern washed over him when he noticed your fearful expression. He took your hand, which you had been squeezing unconsciously, and turned to you with a small smile. "Let's have ice cream as soon as we get to the hotel."

You nodded automatically, not fully aware of his words. "I'm nervous, Soobin."

"When you get nervous, I get nervous."

"What are you talking about?" you replied, looking around restlessly. "Getting on an airplane is like breathing for you."

Soobin's expression softened as he noticed the way your eyes were locked on his, silently pleading. With a resigned smile, he moved closer to you and draped one of his arms over your shoulder. "And that's why I can assure you that everything will be all right."

"I don't know, and if..."

"Hey," he cut you off, still looking at you with a calm expression that made your anxiety rise, even though you tried not to focus on it. "Seriously, you'll be fine," he said. "I promise you, this is not a big deal. There's nothing to worry about, you'll see. We just need to wait a little longer, do you want to talk in the meantime?"

˗ˏˋ beomgyu ˎˊ˗

Beomgyu didn't pay much attention to your nervousness until the moment when, just at the moment of the departure, your face seemed to be filled with tears and your legs turned into something like jelly. Then his face changed from one of expectant curiosity to one of pure concern.

"I'm a little nervous," you said with a grimace as you noticed his gaze resting on you, "I just don't like flying.

"Neither do I, so there's no need to focus on that," Beomgyu laughed, draping one of his arms over your shoulders. Who wants to waste time eating unpleasant food in a terminal or having to deal with the unpleasant humor of the airport employees, when you could be on a beautiful, quiet beach with your amazing girlfriend?"

You shook your head. "It's not that, it's just that I'm..."

"Nervous, I know," he looked at you sweetly. "Well, then let me be the one who is nervous for you. I'll worry for both of us, you know? Problem solved." Beomgyu hugged you and eased your nerves a little. You felt a little comforted, but as the time for abort and takeoff approached, the fear took hold of you again, your heart rate increased, and a layer of sweat began to form on your forehead.

"Well, it looks like the takeoff nerves are at their peak," Beomgyu suddenly spoke up. "I know. Let's play a game to get rid of it!"

˗ˏˋ taehyun ˎˊ˗

Taehyun was sitting right next to you, staring at his cell phone with a distant, pensive look. His taciturn presence was overshadowed by the intensity of your nerves, but you were grateful that his distraction didn't let him see your anxious state.

Or at least that was what he wanted you to think. He knew you well enough to be aware of how stubborn you could be when it was time for you to make a statement about a change in your mood. Intent on letting you manage your anxiety on your own, and believing that you would let him know when you needed his support, he remained silent for a few more minutes.

But it was hard to ignore how nervously you moved your fingers along your legs, how heavy your breathing had become, or simply how you continued to sweat despite being in a cool environment. Finally Taehyun let out a sigh, looked away from the screen of his cell phone and looked at you.

"Do you need anything?"

You shook your head quickly, maybe too quickly, so that Taehyun had no other choice but to not overlook the lie you were telling. "We'll be boarding soon, do you think you can make it?

You grimaced, of course he knew that. Your worries, your fears... only he could tell when you weren't feeling well or when something negative was going through your mind; and to be honest, that was one of the reasons why you loved him the most. "I..."

Taehyun smiled when he saw your hesitation and took your hand for a comforting squeeze. "Of course you can."

Even though his words were enough to ease your worries considerably, as soon as a little bit of time had passed and then you had the huge plane in front of you, any conversation with him disappeared from your mind.

While you felt like you were about to faint, Taehyun looked at you excitedly. "Did you know that, at the time, the U.S. air force had deemed the 787 'The dreamliner'? And that wasn't because the flight was unsafe, but because of how quiet and refined it was”.

˗ˏˋ huening kai ˎˊ˗

"Honey, you're so tense!" Kai's voice pulled you out of your thoughts. There was a hint of curiosity in his eyes and you forced yourself to smile as he gently stroked your hair to calm you down. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing," you said with a small chuckle, your mind still in a state of panic. "Just a little... nervous, that's all. I'll be fine now."

Kai analyzed you for a few seconds before nodding and smiling softly. At first he thought your nerves were due to the excitement of the trip, and it wasn't until you started shaking with fear a few minutes later that he realized your real concern was boarding the plane.

As you approached the boarding area, he moved closer until his arm touched yours and he leaned toward you. "Do you want an arm?" he asked.

"Yes," you whispered in a trembling voice as you took his arm and clung to it as if the wind would blow him away, however, the noise of the crowd around you made your answer inaudible. You struggled to speak again, but just then Kai laughed and draped one of his arms over your shoulders.

"Now relax," he said, "you'll be fine. Don't worry, nothing will happen."

From then on, he probably didn't leave your side.

a/n. yeonjun was laying on your bed, one hand underneath his head and the other holding his phone. you were writing, one headphone in your ear and the other dangling loosely. well, you were almost finished with your homework.

your boyfriend was patiently waiting for you to finish up so later you could cuddle and go on a walk. it was something that made your heart melt. yeonjun could simply arrive at your place later when you’re done with your homework or go to the living room and watch tv. but instead, even though you weren’t taking, he stayed in the room. you could feel his presence, sometimes he even giggled at some memes he saw. you love him so much.

and it’s just that he’s beautiful inside and out. closing your text book quietly, you turned around on your chair to take a look at him. to simply admire your boyfriend.

because he was an literal angel. kind, loving, caring. his stubbornness and ambition inspired you every day. regarding his physical appearance, there wasn’t even a tiny bit of him you wouldn’t love.

“what?”

his amused voice made you come back to reality, realising you were staring at him. due to his outstretched hand his t-shirt rode up a bit, revealing his stomach. and you felt a sudden urge to pepper it with kisses.

you stood up, dramatically stretching to think about your attack plan. yeonjun watched you amused, a smirk on his lips.

“i know i’m handsome, baby. but just come here already” he whined, putting his phone away.

“okay, okay” you murmured and sat on the edge of the bed. and while he looked at you confused, pout on his lips, you quickly grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled it up a bit.

“yah–!” yeonjun gasped, his hand moving from under his head.

you giggled and quickly moved onto his lap, attacking his stomach with kisses. pecking random places, giggling between them.

“what are you–?” your boyfriend breathed out, stunned by your actions.

“mwah!” you chuckled and pulled away when you had to catch a breath. looking at flabbergasted yeonjun you laughed again. his face was bright pink, almost as his iconic noona hair.

“y/n, you’re actually insane” he exhaled shakily, his hand reaching to tuck a strand of your hair behind your ear.

“no, not really. i just love you” you scoffed, pulling his shirt down “and sometimes i feel like i’m gonna explode if i don’t cover you in kisses”

“i don’t mind, really” he hummed, a boyish glint in his eyes “but i’d rather you kissed my face…”

“oh really? will do then. whatever my jjunie wants~!” you cooed and cupped his face, pepper-kissing it everywhere. this time yeonjun started giggling with you, the feeling a bit ticklish.

his forehead that scrunches when he’s confused, his perfectly shaped nose, his squishy cheeks, his sharp jaw, his eyelids that are perfect to put eyeshadow on, his cute chin.

with a smirk you kissed a corner of his mouth, only to pull away short after. yeonjun didn’t let you though, chasing you.

“you’re a meanie” he grunted, pulling your hands down from his face

“mhm” you murmured and let him kiss you. pillowy lips moving against you, causing you to hum in delight.

yeonjun pulled you closer (however that was possible), now his hands on your face. you smiled into the kiss and leaned away.

“but you love me?” you teasingly rose your eyebrow and he let out an airy laugh, flipping you over so now you were laying down next to him.

“i guess” he giggled, wrapping his arms around you and caging you in a bear hug so you wouldn’t notice his red neck.

“asshole” your grunt was muffled because of his arm but you both knew the real answer.

its like his brain just takes off in a rush and it's taken over by the sheer need to annoy the fuck out of his bestie.

you see his struggle and move over on your own with a new found respect for terry the terrance taehyun kang

he's looking at your head like, hmm you kinda sus

but that lasts like a whole lot of ten seconds before he's like nothings even on him

although he tries to smell the top of your head like what is the difference between a baby's head and an adult's crown

he is a curious little crow, it's one of his charms

makes a quick mental note to break it to you gently that you might need to take a lil bit more hygiene care on the top of your head.

he leans back

unlike yeonjun the daniel choi, he's fr chill

also man's broad as hell

he's like meant to be a chair at this point

you can lean in as much as you want on him and you know he would fine with anything

like he barely feels you on him anyway

you can probably just lean back on him and he'd cradle you like his first born

just maybe not kiss the top of your head

but he finally got an idea what to gift you on your birthday!

so it all worked out for the best!

Something about you was that you would never admit to being madly in love with Yeonjun. Not after all those years of friendship, listening about his crushes, and helping with his situationships. That only made you think he was out of your league completely, leaving your hopes and dreams deep in your imagination. You tried to find somebody you knew, somebody who you knew would feel the same about you, but nothing was able to stop you from comparing them with him. He had this undeniable charm that day by day only brought you closer to him, making your misery even more painful.

You sat in the students’ lounge enjoying the comfort of an air-conditioned room. Soon your group of friends started joining to eat their lunches. You waited patiently for him, to, as always, brighten the atmosphere in the room with his jokes and laughter. And there he was. His hair was messy from his soccer training, yet he looked perfect as always, maybe a little better.

“How was your practice?” Chaewon asked once he plopped next to her on the couch.

He huffed with a smile and faced her. “I scored most goals, as always,” he said cockily, earning a playful smack on his arm.

“We should hang out after all the classes, are y’all free?” Beomgyu suddenly suggested, grabbing your attention. He smiled slightly, looking straight at you. Did he notice how you looked at Yeonjun?

“Sure, it’s been a while since we hung out outside of campus.” Yeonjun looked at everybody and stopped at you, whose attention was still laid on Beomgyu.

“I can’t today, I have tutoring,” Yunjin said regretfully.

“I don’t think I’ll manage to find time today.” Chaewon pouted.

The room fell silent and only the ticking of a clock was audible.

“How about you Y/n?”

You thought for a while. You didn’t quite know what Beomgyu was up to with that sudden proposition. His gaze told you firmly he knew damn well about your feelings, after all, he knew you the longest of them all.

“I have no plans for today,” you said with a sigh, leaning back on the couch. In the corner of your eye, you noticed a slight smile on Yeonjun’s face. A smile he wished you noticed.

After all your classes you were set to meet at the cafe nearby. Your last lecture thankfully got canceled, making you have time to finish all your assignments before your get-together. Since this particular place wasn’t really close to your campus not many students came there. It was the middle of the week and not one of the typical rush hours for a cafe so every time the door opened your head perked up automatically, waiting for your friends. Finally, they revealed Yeonjun. He smiled upon seeing you in the corner, your laptop in front of you as well as an already finished beverage.

“How long have you been here?” he asked, taking a seat in front of you.

“Quite a long time. My lecture got canceled,” you shrugged and closed your laptop to give him all your attention.

“I see you already finished,” he said, pointing to your cup. “Do you want another one?”

“Shouldn’t we wait for Beomgyu?” You frowned, but he responded with just as confused a look as yours.

“He texted me a while ago that something came up and he wouldn’t make it today. He said he texted you too.” Of course. You knew he was up to something. “So? Should I get you your usual?” he offered.

You nodded with a small smile, heart pounding at him remembering your order. When he turned around to the counter you took your phone out to see that Beomgyu indeed texted you. You huffed in disbelief as you read his message.

“Enjoy your date, lovebird ;)”

MASTERLIST

you were shaking under the covers of your bed, as if the almost constant state of fear you were living in wasn't enough, yeonjun had to do his business in your house. the screams and threats were freezing your blood, you were terrified that anyone would get hurt, and that you, would get killed because of what you considered yeonjun's reckless behaviour. for someone who claimed to only want the best for you, and only acted with your best interest in mind, he sure was being dangerous towards your safety. the only thing you could do was wait patiently, praying that whatever thing he was doing, was ending soon.

you heard a scream of intense pain followed by a loud thud. the voice didn't belong to yeonjun, but you didn't know if that reassured you any better. did he kill someone in your house? you wanted to get up and check up on him, and what happened, but the thought of the possibility of seeing a dead body laying on your living room's floor was frightening.

you carefully tiptoed to your bedroom's door, and tried to listen to any sounds that might come out of the living room. for a few seconds, only a dead silence fell on your ears. the silence stopped as a string of curses left yeonjun's mouth.

quietly, you slightly opened the door, enough for your voice to be heard.

“yeonjun..?” you called out his name, your voice quivering a little.

his eyes immediately darted your way, looking at your figure peeking through the door. not knowing what to say, he stared you, his dark gaze piercing your skull.

“what happened, is everything okay?” you asked, a bit reluctant, not being able to decipher his emotions.

yeonjun sighed, looking at the corpse laying next to his foot.

“this is what happens when you decide to go outside and disobey.” he walked towards your door.

it was true, you went outside and went out with some friends when you were forbidden to do so, as yeonjun was scared that the wrong people would get you and him, and hurt you. you regretted ever going out with someone heavily involved in the mafia world, in every step you took, you were reminded of the risk that and of the chances that you'd get harmed by anyone in the opposing mafia to yeonjun's. and on top of that, you added his obsessive and overly protective behaviour towards you, you deeply regretted ever agreeing to go out with him, your mental not being able to take any of yeonjun any more.

but even if what you did was objectively dangerous and stupid, did that mean that he had to kill someone? at this point, you didn't know whether he did it to protect you, because of his borderline psychotic and obsessive behaviour or because he simply enjoyed witnessing the death of over human beings.

“because of what you did, people now know about you, and i need to kill even more people for you.” he was now in front of you, towering over you, maintaining a chilling eye contact with you.

“no matter how much i warned you, you still went against my directions. do i need to threaten you? to show you the corpses of the people i've killed? because i can, and i will if that's what you need.” shivers ran through your body, you knew that by working in a mafia he had to do some shady stuff that potentially involved ending some people's lives. but you never thought he'd kill some people because of you. especially if it could have been avoided.

a wave of guilt washed over you as you felt at fault for the death of many. your shoulders dropped, and tears started to well up in your eyes. yeonjun's eyes were piercing through you in the silence. you looked down to your feet, remorse still eating you, you took a shaky breath before muttering low excuses, your voice unstable.

unbeknownst to you, yeonjun was smirking. his efforts were paying off, he had successfully manipulated you into feeling culpability for things you didn't even control. he was now sure you'd never leave his side, which was his ultimate goal, it was all he dreamt of.

he sighed, before taking you in his arms, startling you a little. “it's okay, just, don't do it again, okay? let's not spill more blood than needed. be careful, and as long as you follow my orders to the letter, you'll be safe and happy.” his shirt was now wet by your tears, you nodded, determined to not make any more mistakes.

yeonjun grinned, he kissed the top of your head. you sobbed in his chest, as he softly rubbed your back, trying to comfort you back into a happier state.

he finally achieved his most important mission, and he was more than overjoyed inside.
