Being able to be by your side this year through the highs and lows has truly shown me what an amazing human being you are. I am so so so proud of you for always being the sweetest, most kind hearted person-even during the most difficult of times. I am in awe that I get to love and be loved by you. I can’t wait for all the amazing memories we’re going to make this year 💜

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I'm not going to lie 2023 was an incredibly difficult year for me, I would even go as far as to say the worst year of my life so far. I lost loved ones and some very important people this last year, it has been hard to manoeuvre through the year if I'm honest. I have felt like my body has been on auto pilot since May when I lost my older sister after a very short battle with cancer. I still feel as though I'm right back there in that moment and it's wild how fast this year has gone. The people who have stuck by me this year through a rollercoaster of emotions, the good and the bad are really really amazing people and friends. I honestly don't know what I would have done without you all. Thank you all so much!

My experiences this last year have made me realise that this year I really have to start putting myself first. This year is a year that I will work on myself, finally get back to therapy and start to move forward in a positive way. I want to travel and have new experiences and meet new people. I got to tick good old Texas (sarcasm) off of the list in 2023 when I went to visit my gf so hopefully some more states to come this year.

I also gained/maintained the most amazing friendships with some great people and if you are one of those people then I love you endlessly. @radbearx @properdxse @aceisthep1ace @wandas-honey @inkblot-inc @maximotts @didntalwayslookthisrough @once-upon-a-thigh @lokisjuicyass (there are many more that I forgot to tag but I love you all the same)

One of the best things about 2023 was that I got the pleasure of asking the most genuinely sweet and kind person I have ever met to be my girlfriend. @thatsimplepoet I love you so much and I am so thankful to have met you and to be loved by you, thank you for being my rock. So anyway with all that being said if you were a part of my year at some point or not, if we are/were friends, if we talk every day or we have never spoken then I would like to say that I wish you all the best and a Happy New Year. May your 2024 be a great!

It’s weird to grow up in a family where you know you’re loved but you don’t feel loved. And then later in adulthood you understand how almost impossible it seems to cross that distance and let yourself experience closeness, how otherworldly love feels now and how love feels unbearable at times. You flinch when someone tries to wholeheartedly love you. And over and over you see so clearly how you cannot be loved unless it's from afar and love is mixed with that familiar sensation of distance and coldness.
