Hey does anyone know the ins and outs about the summoning technique in Naruto? Thinking about writing a ficlet or making some fanart but I have Questions 🤔 I’ve looked through the wiki but I still wanna know:

So can they be summoned accidentally for the first attempt? Or at least, without knowing who or what you’re going to be summoning? Can you do so without having to use blood if you have a huge amount of chakra? If you live in a certain environment (like a mountainous environment), and you haven’t made a contract with the critter and get transported to their environment instead but they live in the same biome as yours (e.g, a mountain goat, lynx or mountain pine beetles) would you just move to a local cliffside with lots of them? Any help would be hugely appreciated! 💖

Hot take: Zetsu is a species of fungi and is part of a mycelial colony​. They have a symbiotic relationship with plants and usually share a root network link to a Mother Tree, and it works pretty well considering that some species are carnivorous and just generally live off of decaying organisms.

After having to block several homophobic people on insta because of nasty comments on my Omega & Numa piece, I really have to get this off my chest:

If you don't like something an artist (or writer) makes then just DON'T INTERACT. Scroll past. Filter out that one ship you don't like if you really can't stand it. Unfollow them entirely if they don't make anything you enjoy anymore. It's not that hard.

But don't assume we're going to change just because you don't like it. Hell, I'm not into writing or drawing clone ships, but that doesn't mean I can't still appreciate someone's elses art piece. Do I see that it's a skillfully made piece that the creator has put a lot of love in? Definitely. Will I reblog on it my page? Probably not. And that's fine. But I don't go yelling at the creator that they shouldn't make that because I don't like it (and use flimsy excuses as to why).

We're not here to make sure you have an experience that is perfectly tailored to your tastes. We're here because we want a place where we can just yell about our favourite characters, have a good time and engage with people who love the same things.

And yes, it's our responsibility to make sure our work is properly tagged and has warnings if they're necessary. And if you do see harmful behaviour (by which I mean racism, homophobia etc. Not things like 'but they're not gay in the show' or 'but they're brothers'), do call someone out. But in general, its your responsibility to curate your own experience. But please, just do that in fucking silence.
