Different ways to overcome the issue of separation anxiety
Anxiety can be termed as the feeling that almost all of us feel at times of holdup and cruciality. It’s a feeling of concern or enthusiasm, or nervousness. It has been detected from studies that anxiety happens when we are not sure about a consequence but keenly waiting for it. Moreover, persons who face anxiety often with almost every situation are most likely suffering from an anxiety disorder. It is a kind of a mental disorder that is known by a nervous breakdown due to excess uneasiness and trepidation.
Anxiety disorder is more prone to give rise to frequent compulsive behavior and panic attacks. It’s like the continuous palpitation and speedy beating of the heart. Everyone gets anxious about something or the other from time to time. However, an anxiety disorder in a person breaks down their mental ability to identify a serious situation from a normal one. Each and every little anomaly in their day-to-day routine makes them feel anxious or afraid. People with anxiety disorder are not very likely to form a bond easily. Compliant to a new situation or a new friend group takes time for them as they are unable to have faith in people simply. You can take medication like Cheap Etizolam Online to treat this condition. It is a FDA approved medicine that helpful to control anxiety attack.
Anxiety causes
There are various causes of anxiety. However, the reasons depend on the kinds of this particular disorder. Irrespective of the type of anxiety is confronted by someone; the disorder is instigated due to some kind of pressure. Existential anxiety is a type of anxiety that is related to the aspect of fear or desire of individuation, separation, and differentiation. The origin reason of this kind of anxiety is emotional trauma. It commonly happens when somebody is at a great deal of constant tension due to shock. There is another type of anxiety called mathematic anxiety, where a person is constantly stressed about mathematics, which leads him or her to get anxious about their ability to do the math. This kind of anxiety is most common in youngsters who face excessive pressure to succeed in mathematics.
There is another kind of anxiety, which is called separation anxiety. It is mostly caused by children who encounter the divorce or separation of parents and fear that they will be left abandoned too. This leads to their nervous breakdown. Moreover, it has also been seen in kids who fear that someday or the other, they will be left alone by their parents. They become totally paranoid with the thought without any reason. This leads them to feel extremely anxious and develop the disorder. It is often cured through the usage of family therapy or child therapy. However, in some undiagnosed cases, it remains until late childhood, and they develop abandonment issues and depression.
As anxiety is mostly instigated by mental strain, it has been detected that meditation has been of effectual aid in treating and curing anxiety. It has been noticed that with the assistance of meditation, the nerve cells in the human brain are soothed. A tranquil atmosphere is formed inside the body, which allows us the evasion of worry and stress. Anxiety is produced due to the rush of enthusiasm or fear in our mind, which is smoothed up by regular meditation. Yoga and meditation practice in kids is also suggested by doctors in order to calm them and get rid of restlessness.

Painful Health Conditions Most People Suffer From
Tumblr media
Pain is often in the mind, so they assume. Pain is an uneasy emotion that describes something is not good. Individuals feel pain from time to time, but constant pain is different. It’s a kind of pain that is continuous and typically lasts for more than six months. We can usually cope with the lower end of the pain range. Things like stubbed toes, injuries, hitting your funny bone, are instantly painful, but rarely head to long-term pain. But there are some situations that individuals have to live with every day, which induce severe pain and they are as follows:
Cluster headaches
People hardly know about this disorder, despite the reality there are about the same amount of victims as people who have Multiple Sclerosis. It is known for its utmost power and a pattern of happening in clusters. Autonomic signs such as anxiety and uneasiness follow the headache.
Shingles
Shingles are also recognized as herpes zoster. It is an infection of the skin and nerves and normally hits a single area on one side of the body. The most important sign is a severe rash which can convert into itchy blisters carrying the virus. Periods of shingles typically last within two and four weeks. One-fifth of victims go on to generate nerve pain along the injured area.
The pain can be severe and last for several months, perhaps even longer. It can hit people of all ages but is most well-known in those aged over 70.
Frozen shoulder
Pain and stiffness in the shoulder are the signs of this one. The NHS says the joint can grow so tight and hard it makes it practically difficult to carry out simple actions, such as raising an arm.
The problem is not known, but it can occur after shoulder or arm injuries and is more usual in people suffering from diabetes.
Managing pain is always difficult for everyone. You can buy Tapentadol 100 mg to control extreme pain. It is necessary to consult with doctor before the intake of this medication.
Broken bones
Breaking a bone can be incredibly disturbing. Fractures of the ankle, hip, arm, and nose are amongst the most disturbing of all injuries. Small breaks are less depressing, but larger ones can head to suffering, particularly if the person tries to move.
Broken bones generally need lining up and repositioning so they are set properly. The common healing time depends on the size of the bone and the age of an individual.
Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS)
The NHS states this is a poorly understood situation, characterized by the patient undergoing constant, difficult, and debilitating pain. Although most incidents of CRPS are triggered by an injury, the resulting pain creates surprisingly severe and long-lasting trouble. It is typically restricted to just a single limb, but it can sometimes grow to other parts of the body. The surface of the affected body part can become so sensitive, to the amount that a light touch can provoke excruciating pain. Affected sections can also become enlarged, stiff, or experience varying changes in color or temperature. Some cases of CRPS are deadly and will never ease, and the affected individual will feel pain for many years.
Heart attack
Most heart attacks are generated when the arteries narrow and fill with fatty substances, blocking blood from flowing. Smoking and common unhealthy living are significant contributory parts, with experts suggesting regular exercise and well-balanced diets. The most obvious symptoms of a heart attack involve chest pain; pain in the arms, neck, jaw, back, or stomach; sweating; light-headedness; shortness of breath; nausea, and vomiting.
Slipped disc
One of the most usual reasons for back pain, a slipped disc is the outcome of an injury caused by twisting or lifting, creating one of the discs in the spine to rupture, and the gel inside flows out. Most individuals with a slipped disc experience immediate and severe lower back pain. It is normally relieved by lying down and often made more dangerous by moving your back, coughing, or sneezing. It can also create severe leg pain.
Sickle cell disease
Sickle cell disease is a combination of blood disorders typically derived from one's parents, with sickle cell anemia identified as the most common type. It happens in an abnormality in hemoglobin, the oxygen-carrying protein located in red blood cells. One of the most popular and distressing signs is an immediate episode of pain, recognized as a pain crisis. The pain, which normally happens in the bones and joints, can range from moderate to critical and last for up to seven days. Some individuals may have an event every few weeks, while others may have less than one a year.
Arthritis
Arthritis creates consistent and often debilitating pain in the joints, normally in the hips, knees, wrists, or fingers. The pain can occur quickly or over time and is usually linked to muscle pains and stiffness in the joints.
Migraines
Migraines are different from headaches as they are a difficult and disabling neurological disease, according to the Migraine Trust. The Trust said: For many people, the main highlight is a painful headache. Other signs include disturbed vision, sensation to light, sound, and smells, feeling sick, and vomiting. Migraine attacks can be very scary and may result in you having to lie quietly for many hours. The signs will differ from person to person and people may have various signs during various attacks. Your attacks may vary in length and frequency. Migraine attacks normally last from 4 to 72 hours and most individuals are free, from signs between attacks. Migraine can have a tremendous influence on your work, family and social lives.
Sciatica
The sciatic nerve is the largest in the body, moving from behind the pelvis down to the feet and the sciatica is a back position that affects it. This happens when the nerve becomes disturbed or compressed. One of the natural conditions is the earlier stated slipped disc. Other signs can involve tingling feelings, related to pins and needles, cramp, and shooting pain that begins in the buttocks and goes quickly down towards the foot. Sufferers can feel any level of pain from moderate to intense, to the point where it is difficult to put any pressure on the injured leg. Sciatica can hit people of all ages but is also normal as you get more aged.

Yoga practitioners knew this.
Meditation and Breathing Exercises Can Sharpen Your Mind
It has long been claimed by Yogis and Buddhists that meditation and ancient breath-focused practices, such as pranayama, strengthen our ability to focus on tasks. A new study by researchers at Trinity College Dublin explains for the first time the neurophysiological link between breathing and attention.
Breath-focused meditation and yogic breathing practices have numerous known cognitive benefits, including increased ability to focus, decreased mind wandering, improved arousal levels, more positive emotions, decreased emotional reactivity, along with many others. To date, however, no direct neurophysiological link between respiration and cognition has been suggested.
The research shows for the first time that breathing – a key element of meditation and mindfulness practices – directly affects the levels of a natural chemical messenger in the brain called noradrenaline. This chemical messenger is released when we are challenged, curious, exercised, focused or emotionally aroused, and, if produced at the right levels, helps the brain grow new connections, like a brain fertiliser. The way we breathe, in other words, directly affects the chemistry of our brains in a way that can enhance our attention and improve our brain health.
Original Research: Abstract for “Coupling of respiration and attention via the locus coeruleus: Effects of meditation and pranayama” by Michael Christopher, Melnychuk, Paul M. Dockree, Redmond G. O’Connell, Peter R. Murphy, Joshua H. Balsters, and Ian H. Robertson in Psychophysiology. Published May 10 2018. doi:10.1111/psyp.13091

How does Sleep Loss Affect your Mental Health?
Tumblr media
Poor sleep is both a cause and a symptom of mental illnesses. Sleep deprivation may contribute to both the development and the prolongation of a mental health disorder. Lack of sleep reduces one's ability to think and make a decision and also reduces his or her performance.
It is no secret that sleep plays an important role in good physical and mental health. Deprivation of sleep can have serious long-term health consequences as well. It is linked with various kinds of health consequences like heart disease depression and also can leave you feeling exhausted and irritable. Research suggests that the relationship between sleep and mental health is very complex. Sleep problems can lead to changes in mental health and mental health conditions can also worsen problems with sleep.
Mental peacefulness is very necessary in everyday life. Without having mental peace, one cannot concentrate on his or her work and as a result all things will be messed up. Without having proper sleep if someone goes to office then he or she may feel drowsy and as a result he will not be able to do his work and that consequence will be terrible if one is in the private sector. Not only in the office but in any kind of profession, sleep plays a very important role to start a fresh day, to stay alert after having at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep at night. Nowadays many people want to stay awake or are forced to do that. For example, students who wish to study for exams stay awake or professionals whose job is very tricky have to stay awake. Likewise, there are some people who go for late night parties at pubs for enjoyment, lovers over phone calls spend their quality time the whole night, parents who have recently become mother or father have to stay awake for the sake of their newborn. These activities hamper sleep. Some do it intentionally while others forcefully.
People who have sleep disorders also suffer from sleeplessness like narcolepsy (excessive daytime sleepiness), sleep apnea (a condition in which breathing stops eventually during sleep), shift work sleep disorder (a disorder characterized by insomnia whose work hours overlap with the typical sleep period).
Why sleep is so important for our mental health?
Let's take an example. When we are hungry we take food so that we get energy for our body to function properly and also to fill our stomach. Likewise, sleep is essential for at least 7 to 8 hours each night to refresh our brain and mood. Inability to sleep will have the worst consequences. Sleep has an important restorative function in recharging the brain at the end of each day just like we need to recharge our smartphone batteries when it gets drained off.
The effects of a lack of sleep are as follows:
Erratic behavior, low mood cognitive functioning, irritation, anxiety, tiredness, elevation in blood pressure and stress hormones.
Steps to improve sleeping habits for better mental health
●       Establish a regular sleep-wake cycle
It is necessary to sleep and wake at regular times consistently
●       Limit the use of stimulants
Before going to the bed avoid using nicotine, caffeine or alcohol.
●       Exercise regularly
A good exercise can also help to have a peaceful and sound sleep.
●       Avoid electronic devices at night
Devices such as computers, laptops, tablets, mobiles should not be used as the bright light which comes out of the devices can be over-stimulating and keep you awake
Sleep loss can affect your mental health to a large extent but try to maintain a good sleep record in order to function properly.

Is daytime sleepiness bad?
Tumblr media
Excessive daytime sleepiness affects almost every person. It is defined as trouble staying up or alert, or an enhanced wish to sleep through the day. The feelings of sleepiness may be more powerful when you are sedentary, such as while driving or sitting at work. Although it’s common to feel tired once in a while after going short on sleep, it’s recognized extreme daytime sleepiness when occurs almost every day for at least three months.
It’s simple to confuse sleepiness with fatigue, since both situations are identified by a lack of energy and may occur under similar conditions, such as being up for a long time. The principal variation is that individuals with fatigue may be inadequate to fall asleep despite feeling exhausted and lazy. It is also likely to undergo simultaneous exhaustion and sleepiness. Though, not a disorder in itself, extreme daytime sleepiness is something to take threateningly. Your body may be trying to show you that you are not having adequate sleep, or it may be establishing red flags about a sleep disorder or other health situation. It’s essential to know the symptoms of extreme daytime sleepiness so you can recognize and treat the cause.
The treatment is possible with the help of Cheap Modafinil Online. But always consult with doctor before the intake of any medication. Modafinil is a safe product approved by the medical experts and FDA.
Symptoms and Consequences of Excessive Daytime Sleepiness
Sleep plays an essential role in strengthening memory, altering the immune system, and other important processes. Due to this, a lack of quality sleep may occur in a host of signs that you may not quickly relate to sleep.
Even if you don’t consciously feel sleepy, you may be undergoing extreme sleepiness if you’re undergoing any of the following:
Difficulty in staying alert
Feelings of irritation
Memory problems
Stress in focusing
Trouble in retaining new concepts
Difficulty making decisions
Slower reaction times
Tumblr media
Staying sleepy can have wide-ranging impacts on health and daily life. Outcomes of daytime sleepiness include:
Heightened risk of car and work accidents
Reduced work productivity or academic production
Severer quality of life
Difficulties regulating mood and emotions
Extreme sleepiness may be especially critical for young adults, shift workers, medical staff, and individuals who drive a lot.
Long-term sleep deprivation has been connected to a greater chance of having diabetes, obesity, heart disease, and other chronic diseases. Daytime sleepiness in children may change development, while in older adults; daytime sleepiness increases the risk for falls and may be a risk factor for cognitive impairment, memory loss, and earlier fatality.
What Causes Excessive Sleepiness?
There are various possible causes of extreme daytime sleepiness. One of the most obvious reasons is a chronic lack of sleep, whether because of long work hours, an irregular schedule, insomnia, or other causes.
Extreme sleepiness can also be created by getting fragmented or otherwise inadequate sleep. Getting up various times a night to use the washroom, for example, interrupts the normal progression of the sleep stages and may decrease the proportion of restorative slow-wave sleep. Smoking, not exercising enough, and other lifestyle habits may also meddle with sleep quality and cause daytime sleepiness.
Several people who undergo extreme daytime sleepiness don’t seem to have any difficulties sleeping adequately. In these circumstances, sleepiness may be a symptom of an underlying health condition or sleep disorder.

Is stress good or bad for you?
Tumblr media
Feeling stressed in certain situations is quite normal and we all face it every now and then. You might have noticed that you get motivation to work hard and complete your work before deadline when you are under pressure. This is a positive effect of being stressed. Although, stress motivates you to do more, there are negative effects of stress too. It has different impact in different situations.  Basically, there are two types of stress – good and bad stress. The good stress motivates you to handle everything on your place while the bad one makes you anxious about the things you have to accomplish in a day.
Here in this article, we are going to learn more about positive and negative effects of stress to determine whether you are dealing with either of these. Also, we will see how it affects your overall performance.
Positive effects of stress
In small amount, stress can be beneficial. It helps you do your work with great motivation. Stress in small doses is like an energy capsule. For example, when you are facing positive stress, you are force to do things faster and with great enthusiasm. Also, stress in small amount can help you achieve your goals more effectively and also enhances your memory.
Stress also portray as a body’s warning system which leads to fight or flight responses. When our brain senses some type of stress, it starts producing chemicals like cortisol, epinephrine etc which in turn causes reactions in the body such as increases heart rate and blood pressure.
Researchers have claimed that facing small amount of stress boosts your immunity. Stress can enhance how your heart works and thereby safeguard you from infections. A study revealed that people who faced moderate levels of stress were healed faster than those with low or high levels of stress.
Negative effects of stress
Though stress can leave positive effects on you, it can also turn your life upside down when you experience high levels of it. Emotional stress which stays for weeks or months has ability to weaken your immune system. Further it also causes anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, and eventually may lead to heart disorders. Too much epinephrine in your body leads to cardiac diseases. It affects the arteries and their cells ability to regenerate.
How to know you are stressed too much
It may be difficult to tell whether you are facing good or bad stress. However, your body has its own ways to tell you how to differentiate between these two. Keep an eye on the following signs:
·         Lack of concentration
·         Inability to complete given tasks
·         Catch cold quite often
·         Body pain
·         Flare up of autoimmune diseases
·         Irritability
·         Headaches
·         Change in appetite
·         Anxiety
·         Tendency to get angry easily
·         Difficulty falling asleep or staying
What can be done?
Stress is unavoidable. But you can improve your capacity to deal with it. Meditating is one of the powerful tools to increase your potential to face stress - good or bad. Talk to your doctor if you feel helpless.

i’m not really sure of tumblr’s general opinion of james charles, but this tweet is (one of the many reasons) why i fucking hate him. people only like to seem socially conscious and progressive when it’s convientent for them, but when the time comes to actually understand some people’s experiences and view points, they suddenly stop being an ally,,,,suspicious? if you try to make excuses on his behalf for this, you’re part of the problem. ableism is so normalized within our society, and it’s fucking bullshit.

So today I was formally diagnosed with narcolepsy. That might sound like a bummer but I’m actually super relieved to know the truth. Looking forward to treatment, too!
I’ve had disordered sleeping and sleep paralysis episodes for about a decade now, so I was long overdue for a sleep study. Hopefully with treatment I’ll have better moods, more energy, and less symptoms of physical anxiety– we’ll see!

Reminder to people with chronic illness:
When you need to explain you have an illness, but you don't want to name it because then people will ASSUME things and Have Opinions and we all hate that, just describe your condition using science words.
Oh you have narcolepsy? Not anymore! You have a neurological disorder that disrupts your REM cycle leaving you constantly sleep deprived.
ADHD? A neurological disorder meaning you have consistently low or inconsistent dopamine levels. It can make focusing difficult.
Urticaria? Auto immune disorder that makes your body produce too much histamine.
You don't owe people explanations but sometimes it helps to give them one.
