Ask yourself every day, “what is no longer serving me?”
Identify the thoughts, habits, routines, actions and people in your life that no longer encourage you to grow. Disengage from empty distractions and remove negativity from your life wherever possible in order to create space to move in the direction that you truly desire.

Blog Post #11: 03.06.2021 : Motherhood is a lot and I’m coping with snacks
Hello Pretty Momma,
I know, it has been a hot minute since I’ve made a post. Motherhood is a lot, and as my daughter is getting ready to turn 3 months old on Tuesday, I realize that I have been consumed in mommyhood (as I think I should be). I can’t believe what a crazy and insane ride it has been, it is both the best and hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my life. Good days are pure euphoria, and bad days are BAD. Like lock myself in the bathroom, cry on the floor and ask myself if I can really do this (the answer is yes!). There’s no quitting in motherhood, and I love my daughter more than I even thought possible. I truly wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. I’m so proud of myself for the person, the mother, and the woman that I have become, and I think I’m addicted to the growth that I see. Women are fucking amazing. Like we are actual goddesses. We take care of everyone, expect nothing in return, and we NEVER give up. Phenomenal. Never forget the power you hold as a woman.
On that note, there is something I want to talk about because I want to improve on it: my eating habits. I’ve always been a relatively healthy eater, but it stemmed from a longtime eating disorder that I have always struggled with because I was always teased about my weight growing up. Now, I know I just talked about how amazing women are, and I really am confident in myself these days, but it’s been a long road to get here. I’ve realized that even though being a mom gives me a boost of confidence as a woman and as a person, it has also brought some old habits to the service. I’ve had a couple of binge and purge cycles as of recently, after a year without any. My changing body, and sometimes feeling out of control (like when my baby is crying and nothing I’m doing is calming her down) has resulted in me binging on junk food in order to feel some sort of control and I am OVER IT. I no longer want to feel this way, so I am determined to change my habits. I want to fuel my body and feed it healthy foods because I genuinely feel better, more energized, and light when I eat better. It gives me happiness. However, I also want to not restrict myself, and I need to make sure I’m eating enough so that my body can perform at its best (and produce good food for my baby!). I also want to be able to indulge every once in a while in treats and not hate myself for it, and also not feel the need to binge. I know I can do it, and this is my first step to making a positive change.
I want my eating habits to benefit my life, both mentally and physically. I want to do what’s best for me and my body, and I want mommy healthy eating to stem from a place of love and self-care for my body (you deserve to be the healthiest version of yourself for yourself!) instead of a place of fear and hatred of myself. I want to reward my body, and my mind, instead of punishing it.
I accept myself as I am now, and I love myself.
I know I can do this, I know some days I will make mistakes, but I will get up and try again. I will always show up for myself.
I got this,
Take care beautiful,
Namaste 🧘🏻‍♀️
