note: hello! i have been lurking on tumblr again because i fell in love with aot again and i have noticed there is a distinct lack of reiner fluff and it makes me SO SAD. I LOVE REINER he is my biggest comfort character so enjoy some soft reiner pls. i will probably write more about him soon hopefully. :)

summary: it's friday movie night with the warriors and you fall asleep on bf!reiner. :)

you shuffle up to your friends' apartment door, knocking in the dim light as you thought of all the ways they'll berate you for being late. reiner texted you as you were getting ready to leave, giving you a heads up that everyone began getting cranky with your tardiness.

you texted him to just go ahead and start without you, you were on your way so it wouldn't be much longer. so now, clad in pajama pants and one of reiner's t-shirt's that was way too big for you, you finally arrived.

only twenty minutes late. a new record, you smiled to yourself.

the door opened, and there stood your fluffy looking boyfriend with a fond smile on his face. he reached for you and pulled you into a gentle hug, burying his nose in the hair on top of your head.

"missed you," he mumbled out. your boyfriend really is just a big baby, huh? in the best way possible of course. he is your baby after all.

"love, you saw me this morning," you chuckled, surrounding yourself with all things reiner, breathing in the scent of his faded cologne.

"i miss you any time that you're not in my arms," he spoke quietly, squeezing you a little closer to his chest.

someone clearing their throat behind where you two were wrapped up in each other brought you crashing back to reality.

"can you icky love birds please just close the door and come sit down? you're letting the cold air in." porco's annoyed voice came from the living area. you rolled your eyes and reluctantly pulled yourself away from reiner, slotting your hand in his as you stepped all the way into the apartment.

the two of you made your way to where everyone else was sitting. pieck, annie, and bertholdt smiled and said hello to you while zeke and porco just complained about how late you were and how you kept them waiting.

reiner shot you a sympathetic look. you began to apologize for being late but reiner just shushed you and pulled you right next to him on the loveseat. you snuggled into his side while everyone else bickered playfully, deciding to not push the topic at hand and just leave you be.

you honestly didn't even want to come tonight. all you wanted was to fall asleep in reiner's arms, but he told you he would be going tonight, so you decided you'd force yourself to go. the last thing you wanted was to be alone on a friday night when you could be spending it with your lover.

once everyone decided they were done chit chatting, porco resumed the movie from where it was left off. you honestly had no desire to focus on what was playing, instead fully directing your attention to reiner's hands that you were currently playing with, sitting half on top of him and feeling secure with an arm around your waist.

about a half hour passed when reiner shifted you two into a more comfortable position, pulling you on top of him as he laid on his back. you just simply snuggled into his plush, warm chest, finding his hand with yours and interlocking them. his other hand was on your back, holding you as close to him as possible.

this was exactly what you needed. time to ignore the world around you and just bask in the warmth of your love you shared with reiner. you felt a gentle kiss pressed to the top of your head and you smiled. lifting yourself from his chest, you leaned forward to capture his lips in the softest kiss imaginable.

your lips turned up into a small grin, not being able to hold it back when his scruff tickled your face. you pulled away and gazed into his eyes, ducking in one more time to steal another kiss before you laid yourself back down on his chest.

wrapped in the warmth that is reiner, you knew it was only a matter of time before you began to feel sleepy, especially after a long, tiring day. the soothing hand rubbing patterns into your back didn't help you either. you closed your eyes, not even trying to fight the oncoming sleep.

you gave in and let sleep take you. reiner would be there to wake you up and take you home. so for now, you rested in the safety and warmth of his arms.

falling in love with levi hc's

note: i was feeling a little soft for levi, and super in love with him, so i decided that i would write what it's like to fall in love with levi in a modern setting! i'm not sure how i feel about this, because it feels like random headcanons about levi to me rather than something specific, but i hope you enjoy regardless! ♡ (i also hope this wasn't ooc for levi ;;)

warnings: nothing but fluff!

falling in love with levi would be really easy. he's unknowingly super caring. it would all start from him insulting you for not taking good enough care of yourself.

you would be classmates, and no one wanted to sit by him on the first day, so since you arrived late, you had to sit by him.

you began getting partnered up for projects and classwork, and got to know one another better.

he would always bring you caffeine, never coffee, only tea, when he knew you had been up particularly late working on something or studying.

your heart always fluttered when he did this, making you fall for him a little more each time.

the insults he hurled your way were out of love.

he would take note if you hadn't been sleeping well and say something along the lines of "you look like shit. you should take a break so i don't have to keep looking at your stupid face."

while it sounds mean, and caught you off guard at first, you quickly learned it was how he showed his emotions.

realizing how all of this would make your heart go pitter patter, you knew you were in deep.

however, you never knew if levi was one to date, so you decided to try and get closer to him.

you would ask him to study with you and sometimes help you with classwork, even if you did understand it.

he was always willing to help, and made sure you really did understand it, even if it sometimes took hours of studying in the library.

i think levi is the type of person to not want to dance around something important.

so, when he began to get feelings for you as well, he told you immediately, albeit very shyly, stuttering the whole time with a red face.

the relationship that bloomed was a fun, but strange one. levi became noticeably more soft around and toward you.

all of your and his friends noticed and pointed it out, to which levi denied, stating he treated you the same he always had.

you of course knew this to be false, but decided not to say anything for the sake of him.

the long hours of studying remained, but now included random sleepovers and cuddling.

the more time you spent with him, the more your heart grew in order to love more and more of him.

the butterflies always remained in your heart whenever he would say something sappy and sweet to you (which he would only do in privacy, never wanting to be too clingy around friends).

when with him, the nights felt endless and too short all at the same time.

even thinking about him made you feel weak in the knees.

the stars seemed to shine brighter, the birds sang louder, and colors brighter, all because you were falling in love.

levi felt himself get softer every day as well, having you on his mind constantly, and he wasn't alone.

you two just felt like you were made for one another, like two matching puzzle pieces, and each day, that feeling only grew. ♡

how aot boys cuddle pt.2!

note: i got some ideas for writing some of the other men in aot and how they cuddle, so this was born! please enjoy!（。＾▽＾） the reader is also gn. ♡

characters: armin, grisha, zeke.

armin

armin is the softest out of anyone when it comes to cuddling.

he loves to sit on your lap and snuggle into your arms; i just know he loves being swaddled.

give him all the attention he deserves, please, he will pout until you do.

he’s always so excited to cuddle and will ask if you guys can build a blanket fort to cuddle in. 

armin gives you his most convincing puppy dog eyes whenever he asks you, meaning you rarely ever say no.

you always make sure to bring some snacks into the fort. his favorites are sweets, so it’s usually cookies or cupcakes.

armin’s favorite cuddle position is anything that allows you to wrap your entire body around his. he likes feeling small and safe when he’s in your arms.

sitting in your lap, facing you, limbs wrapped all around you is one of his favorites, otherwise if you’re laying down, he really likes facing one another while laying on your sides.

it gives him good space to tuck his face into your clavicle and have you rub circles into his back.

please also press kisses to his forehead when you cuddle like that, because it makes him melt; he loves it so much.

if you wrap a blanket around him, turning him into an armin burrito? it will make him so freaking happy and giddy. 

grisha

cuddling with grisha is great. he’s always tending to you, making sure you have everything you want and need.

this dilf always asking if you want some water or snacks. you always have to tell him that you’re fine, you just need him to come be your comfy pillow to lay on.

he complies immediately, laying beside you and pulling you close.

he definitely is the type who favors the position where he’s laying on his back and you’re half on top of him, resting your cheek on his chest.

he’s so warm, like a furnace, so you rarely need blankets when you cuddle.

it’s also not super often that you get to cuddle with him, him being a doctor, he’s working a lot.

you two cuddle of course when going to bed, but cuddling just to cuddle and bask in your lover’s embrace is not something that you get a chance for very much.

so, whenever grisha has a day off, you better expect some serious pampering and also him being super clingy.

grisha just wants to spoil you and make you feel loved!

he also loves having you sit on his lap to cuddle when you watch movies on the couch.

he will constantly press kisses to the top of your head or to your cheeks. he’s such a soft man.

zeke

he’s definitely the big spoon and doesn’t wanna compromise on it.

prefers spooning over other positions. he likes to tuck his head and face into the back of your neck and just breathe in the scent of your shampoo.

he purposefully tickles your neck with his beard because he adores how you try to get away and can’t stop laughing.

this jaeger is also a big fan of you sitting on his lap. he will run his hands along your hips and sides when you sit on him.

zeke also really likes when you lay your head on his lap and feel comfortable enough to just use him as a giant pillow. boosts his ego.

he’s so good at giving massages too. he will give you the best neck/shoulder massage when you lay on his lap.

he doesn’t try to come off clingy, because he hates the idea of it, but he honestly is a bit clingy, even if he wont admit it.

he loves cuddling with you and will always pull you onto the couch or into the bed to snuggle up beside him.

when you’re spooning, he likes resting his hands on your tummy and giving you tummy rubs.

he’s so sweet, even if he doesn’t mean to be. he of course wants you to know how much he loves you, but sometimes he’s afraid of letting it show, so be sure to give him plenty of love in return.
