I told myself I’d blog, even if it’s about nothing.  I’ve been away from doing anything that involved social media for a while.  There are many factors, and I don’t feel comfortable sharing them right now.

I’ve ended my website.  I still hold the domain but ended my subscription to WordPress.  I wasn’t working out right now, and at the moment, I’ve to go to Tumblr for blogging.  Lack of support was the deciding factor in why I left.  I’m not going to pay to have two views a day.  

So, I’ve started regrouping, focusing on new areas, and condensing where I am on Social Media and what I’d like to say and do.  I hope everyone’s 2024 is off to a good start and more to come (I Hope) in this new year.

On March 17, 2022, I went to bed with a pregnant cat ready to pop. The following day I woke up initially thinking there were only three kittens but discovered seven and a mama cat. My life forever changed that day. In this past year, I have learned how to be a cat parent. There are many things for me to know, and I was thankful for the many people around me who raised cats. I’ve learned I couldn’t foster cars for a living. The three we gave away were emotionally challenging, and I'm still in contact with them. It's hard to believe a year is gone by. Since then, I've learned more about cats and still learning as they grow up. Thursday Morning This cat stopped by outside our deck. Its appearance isn’t surprising; it’s the fact that Bengal or the kittens don't seem alarmed by its appearance. I even tried to show the Cat directly to Bengal, but there wasn’t any response from her. And she’s the cat that signals an alarm for a cat across our yard. The cat looked sad and wanted to come in, but I could allow that. I hope that it shows up again. My mom had a theory that this cat might be Butterstoch, but I’m not sure about that. It’s almost time for two of the kittens to get fixed. Maverick and Smokey are up first. Maverick, because he’s the only boy and his troublepuffs (credit goes to @courtneyaehahn for that word), and Smokey looks like she has a hernia on her belly. My mom and I set up a recovery cage. Sorry I stopped with the stories yesterday. It was hard to post stories and talk to others at the event. I wound up playing up to the sixth round before being eliminated. I tied for 13th out of 31 players last I checked the page. Overall, it was a fun event. It was tough as tournament players were way above my pay grade.
