Hey how come interviewers never leave Finn alone about Mil/even kisses but so far neither him or Oakes have been asked about theirs? How come they don't ask Oakes whether it was his first kiss the same way they asked Millie about it?

Don't get me wrong, I'm all about respecting children's boundaries. But not asking at least one teasing question about it and not recognizing the much needed portrayal of queer kids they gave us, uh, seems pretty home of phobic to me.

Okay I might be clowning here but

Oh but isn't it fitting somehow? Of course Theo would think, even in the earliest stages of his idealization of Pippa, that an antique that catches his eye (Hobie's Noah's Ark, of all things) belongs to her, just because of how lovingly the animals seem to be paired.

But it's not hers. It's Hobie's, who's arguably the first queer person Theo meets to influence him positively. And what does he have to say about it?

"[...] doesn't fit with anything else I own, and yet isn't it always the inappropriate thing, the thing that doesn't quite work, that's oddly the dearest?"

NO I DID NOT WARM UP BEFORE THIS STRETCH but it sounds quite a lot like a pinpoint description of the role that Boris would later on fulfill in Theo's life.

Do you think at the end when Theo is asking why Boris won't quit heroin and says "Do I really have to say why?" that he's kinda asking Boris to quit for him? It seemed very loaded to me. Also (if you want to write it) I'd love to read your thoughts on Boris's response of "Live by the sword, die by the sword"

I totally got that too — it is a really loaded question. Like - why does he ask? Because he knows this is a road Boris can’t return from? One he won’t follow? Or one he knows he that will follow and dreads it? Or simply because he knows assuredly Boris will die? Or more because he’s in love with him, came all the way to Antwerp, and can’t lose him and does he really, really have to say it — after all they’ve been through and how many times they’ve saved each other? Wheb Boris already knows, so, so many times over? It’s all of those things. And he doesn’t want to say any of them in true Theo fashion.

And Boris’ response can be taken two ways - one where the “sword” is his drug use and self-decimation. Like: I lived self destructively, I’ll die that way too, it’s brought me here and I like it here. I make my own choices and then I am bound by them, but at least I bound myself. I’m an agent of chaos type-thing. Or, it could be taken as a reponse to Theo asking him to quit, where Theo himself is the “sword” that has been the agent of change and alteration in his life, the sun from which the Badr gets its light, shining wherever it goes. His response then becomes sort of an acknowledgement of what Theo doesn’t want to say: that Theo he loves him, and Boris loves him back, agreeing to Theo’s terms and conditions (“Live by the sword, die by the sword” aka “I’ll do whatever you want, you’re going to kill me one day”) before fading into the oblivion of heroin and Theo’s company simultaneously.

So in true Boreo fashion, it’s all about the double meanings and layering.

How do you, an autist, believe your theories about social interactions are even remotely close to being correct? Your lack of self-awareness is scary. I’ve noticed the small minority of people who believe byler is real tend to either be lgbt or mentally challenged. This is no coincidence.. something is clearly distorting their minds/perception. Look at all the neurotypicals, they ship mileven or just don’t care for ships in general. I truly pity you and all the people who agree with you. Sad.

As much as I love this, I feel the urgent need to ruin everyone else's day just like I ruined my own.

Tbh I don’t get why Salarry makes some people so mad. First and foremost, Steve Gabry himself has absolutely no problem with the ship, likes fanart depicting them romantically on his social media accounts, and has asked us to be nice to each other. And besides- idk man, imagine you’re dating someone and one of your parents happens to end up marrying one of theirs, what are you supposed to do then?
