Hermione slowly walks up to the entryway, counting her breaths to remain calm, and slowly pulls the wooden door from the frame. The sight of the man in front of her put her at ease. He had short chocolate hair, freckles that littered his nose, but his eyes were the ones that she had memorized. The gray stars greeted her with familiarity.

His clothes however, were not the usual rich boy button downs, dress pants, and dragonhide shoes that she was used to seeing Draco sporting. He wore a gray v-neck sweater—the scars that normally scattered his collarbone were glamoured away—and khaki pants. He was still so beautiful, no matter what he glamored away.

In his hand, he was holding a bouquet of roses. “Hi, Hermione.”

“Hi.” It was all she could say, completely at a loss of words that he was really in her presence.

He leans in and gives her a soft kiss on her lips. Hermione had to try to hold herself back from pouncing on him in front of the others. They would have time for that later.

“Levicorpus,” she mutters, lifting his body onto the head of the bed as he flails his arms.

“Granger, wha-”
