LUIGI BIANCHI'S HYBRID BLAZER
In a world where fewer and fewer are wearing classic tailoring, Luigi Bianchi has created the Hybrid Blazer, a perfect mix of blazer and jacket. Crafted from a soft, luxurious virgin wool and cashmere blend. The Hybrid Blazer with a detachable front byb, which works as an extra warming detail while wearing it as a jacket, but can easily be removed to appear as a classic blazer.
In this week’s look, the Hybrid Blazer is tonally matched with a seasonal grey rollneck from Filippo de Laurentiis, knitted from a soft mix of wool and cashmere, and a pair of white cotton corduroy comfort chinos from Incotex. The look is completed with a pair of sturdy derbies in the model Micheal from Paraboot and accessories from Smythson.
This look wearing the Hybrid Blazer is perfect for those early autumn days, where the mornings can be a bit chilly but the afternoons allow for a coffee outside in the sun.

COASTAL RETREAT
As we move into early autumn weather, it’s still not too late to visit the ocean for a coastal retreat. On a calm, sunny day the beach can be quite lovely this time of the year, going for a long walk, and observing the ever-changing nature during the transitional period between summer and autumn.
This week’s look wants to inspire what to wear for this time of outing, where it’s important to be prepared for shifting weather and temperature drops. For these occasions, layering is key to staying warm yet still appreciating the warmth from the occasional sunbeam.
Pierre is wearing a dark taupe gilet from Save the Duck, which has been padded with technical down for warmth. The gilet is layered over a crew neck fairisle sweater from Alan Paine, knitted using pure lambswool. To conquer the various terrain at the beach, he’s wearing a pair of chocolate brown suede boots from Sanders, fitted with a sturdy rubber sole.

WEEKEND GETAWAY
The autumn season is soon upon us and nowadays you find your days often filled with meetings and chores, yet your summer adventures still linger in your memory and you still feel that there is time for a weekend getaway. Why not indulge yourself with a trip to the nearby city you never found the time to visit during your summer holiday? To discover a museum or perhaps treat yourself to some shopping.
This week’s look wants to give some inspiration to that getaway by presenting a muted palette of garments layered for comfort and versatility. Fredrik is wearing the caban jacket from De Petrillo in moss green, crafted from a soft mix of wool and cashmere, which is combined with a tonal look consisting of a camel alpaca wool rollneck from Zanone and a pair of camel cotton pleated trousers from Luigi Bianchi. No weekend getaway is complete without a proper bag, here you see the signature travel duffle from Frank Clegg in sand suede and cognac leather details.

THE POLO COAT
This timeless look revolves around a classic piece in menswear, the navy blue polo coat, or as Luigi Bianchi likes to call it the dream coat. Cut from a heavy and warm wool-cashmere blend woven in Italy by Loro Piana. The classic polo coat has several sartorial details such as a 6×2 button stance, turnback cuffs and in the back an inverted box-pleat along with a Martingale waistband. Together it creates a coat that can be worn formal with a suit but also more casual with jeans and a sweatshirt, as seen here.
The grey sweater comes from Sunspel, made of a soft cotton loopback, and the jeans are from COF Studio, made of 13oz selvedge cotton.
To complete the look, Henrik is wearing a ribbed cashmere beanie from William Lockie in light grey and a pair of hi-top boots from Sanders, in a polo brown suede leather.

PRE-FALL 2023
The summer isn't over yet. But the first signs of fall are upon us, with chilly mornings and treacherous, shifting weather, where nature abandons its green veil for a cover in muted tones of yellow, orange and red.
It’s a season of layering, where we forsake our lighter garments for the warming comfort of heavier knits, technical jackets and sturdy boots. Find some pre-fall inspiration at Baltzar.

LAYERS OF LINEN
When warmer temperatures are approaching it’s perfect, and sometimes highly necessary, to drape yourself in layers of linen, the ultimate summer cloth. Both sturdy and long-lasting, yet also highly breathable and finished with a soft handle. Often made in a bright, sensational colour palette, where its creases and wrinkles create a great character to the garment over time.

THE MOULINE JACKET
The Italian fashion brand Maurizio Baldassari was founded in the beautiful and affluent district of Brera, steeped in the fashionable and cultural history of Milan. This rich heritage has influenced the brand’s commitment to using high-quality materials and crafting elegant, well-balanced designs.
In this week’s look, we introduce the brand’s mouline jacket, here crafted using a cream-white cotton-viscose blend called summer mouline. The mixed fibres give the jacket a dry handle and along with the flexible knit add breathability. It’s a perfect casual alternative to the more formal blazer for an intimate dinner party or summer celebration.
The jacket is combined with a light beige long-sleeve polo shirt from Fedeli, made of a cotton-linen mix, a pair of natural beige selvedge jeans from Tela Genova and a pair of unlined suede boots from Astorflex. The look is completed with a pair of sunglasses from The Bespoke Dudes and a cotton canvas tote bag from Frank Clegg.

THE SAFARI BLAZER
Luigi Bianchi is the tailored division of the classic Italian clothing company, Lubiam, which is still run by the same family since its beginnings back in 1911. The company has ever since the start been devoted to research and innovation, in order to create timeless garments of great quality and style.
This week’s look focus on the brand’s safari blazer, here in a grass green crafted using a mixed cotton-linen thread. The Safari blazer works great together with tailored trousers and a dress shirt, but can also be worn, like in this example, more casually as a jacket.
The blazer is tonally matched with a grass green polo shirt from Mauro Ottaviani, made of pure linen that has been washed to obtain a worn-in look, and a pair of light brown pleated shorts from Berwich, also made of a washed linen fabric. The look is completed with a pair of olive green cotton canvas espadrilles from Castañer.

MULTI-FUNCTIONAL WARDROBE STAPLES
The spring season is in many ways a time of transition, nature moves from colder to warmer weather, naked breaches transform with early blossom and we change garments from protective thermal compositions to lighter materials with a brighter colour palette.
Given these seasonal prerequisites, when moving from winter to spring and later summer, you want to build a wardrobe that incorporates a few transitional pieces, which easily can be combined, layered and ultimately transcend between seasons. By investing in quality pieces that can be worn throughout the seasons, you can build a wardrobe that is not only functional but also sustainable.
In this guide, we want to give you a few examples of multi-functional staples from our seasonal collection and how you can wear them in multiple ways.

THE SUMMER BRENTA
The Italian fashion brand Maurizio Baldassari was founded in the beautiful and affluent district of Brera, steeped in the fashionable and cultural history of Milan. This rich heritage has influenced the brand’s commitment to using high-quality materials and crafting elegant, well-balanced designs.
In this week’s look, we introduce the summer version of their classic Brenta Jacket, here crafted using a cotton-viscose blend called summer mouline. The mixed fibres give the jacket a dry handle and along with the flexible knit add breathability. It’s a perfect casual alternative to the more formal blazer and can be styled more formally with a dress shirt or as pictured more casual together with jeans.
The raw blue jeans are from Tela Genova, as well as the white Henley t-shirt. The look is completed with a pair of white cotton canvas retro trainers from Spring Court.
