Ello, I'm back with some stuff :)

I was able to finish the v2 gang and I also mixed in some v9 stuff too! When I usually do fanarts like these, I mostly like experimenting with my art, such as using negative space and trying out brush assets that I've got from the asset store but never use.

At this point, I shouldn't even apologize abt my in activity. It's pretty clear that I've been gone for 3-4 weeks now because of work load, but I was able to find some spare time to draw :D

I might disappear again, or possibly come back later or smth, but for now, I'm just gonna take a break. :))

Appreciation post/ details I find cool in the No/Name manga, Pt 1.

A few days ago I stumbled upon a new manga called No/Name, and it has quickly became my new fascination. It is well written with amazing illustration, and the power system is simple yet teeming with potential. Soooo seeing that there is still very little attention to the manga rn, I decided to compile a bunch of details I found from re-reading the first chapter several times (mostly to marvel at Ralf hehe).

(Keep in mind that my media literacy isn’t great so there might be some details I missed or just reaching, whatever the case, I just love this manga sm I can’t wait for more)

!SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST CHAPTER OFC!

1. Bodil is a feminine name, a handful of notable women named Bodil are politicians, but our Bodil is a motivational speaker. Later in the chapter Kara (his wife) does talk about how influential people get stronger names than commoners apparently.

Also, Bodil as a name is a combination of 'remedy' and 'battle' from Old Norse.

2. After knowing what Bodil's NP (name power I assume) is, this line is very ominous.

Like, yea sure he totally got permission in a legitimate way, and totally didn't use his powers. ( ಠ ಠ )

Speaking of which, the Bodils before him probably did the same thing, that's why they've been able to keep a powerful name for a long time...ick.

3. I want to be that wolf stress toy. Guh.

Jkjk, but it seems Ralf has a habit of squeezing the toy whenever he's mad or deep in thought. Which is very cute and fitting (cause he works with wolves...and they bite stuff and...ahhh you get it)

4. The old neighbor was waiting for authorities to arrive. She knew they would.

And she knew they wouldn't say no to information, so she happily exchanged it for Kara's car. (Because she was bitter that Kara became rich)

However, I do wonder if she knew that Kara would die, because when she heard the news she seemed pretty...unphased? Maybe she's just a bitter old lady eh.
