I have such a big headcannon (might actually be cannon and I just am unaware) that Dean Winchester was TERRIFIED of dogs until the episode where he like turns into one

Ok hear me out:

Season 3 finale? Ripped apart by hellhounds

Doesn’t like dogs in his car

Ran away from the tiny dog during yellow fever episode

In the same episode he hallucinates dog barking

I get that this is mostly hellhound trauma, but if you’re afraid of hells dogs is it really that outrageous to assume he’s afraid of normal dogs too? It just makes sense

What a coincidence that in season 7 ep 12 (Time after time) at the end, chronos is all “I know your future and it’s covered in black ooze” and changes his gaze to look directly at Dean who just so happens to lose Cas to a different black ooze. I mean, then he goes and talks abt the leviathans so it really is a coincidence but still it’s cool

I get that Mac never fails, but in season one when Matty is all “if you mess up one time the word inprovise falls out of your vocabulary” (direct quote because I’m rewatching it now) I think it would’ve been really nice to see that happen. Mac messes up a mission, and loses the freedom to do his thing. We get an episode where he goes on missions normally, maybe the cold open along with the episode to show that it’s been a hot minute and he can function fine as a normal agent. The next episode, something happens at the phoenix building and Matty is unable to have any agents solve it by normal means. Mac swoops in and is all “cmon boss like ya gotta let me do my thing if we want the phoenix to be saved” and she gives him the OK and he saves the day. Matty sees that letting Mac do his thing isn’t a risk or whatever and everything returns to normal, with Matty having a newfound trust in Mac!

Re-rewatching TUA, and I’m on 2x2 “the frankel footage” and I just got to the scene where Five has to describe Diego and he’s all like “imagine Batman, then aim lower”. This is in 1963. Batman at this point wasn’t the brooding and emo sad guy we know today, he was a funny comedic character at this point (I think, I’m just vaguely remembering video essays for this info of Batman). Elliot probably thinks that Diego is some funny stupid idiot who runs around town with weird toys and gadgets and stuff, which isn’t exactly far off and technically five is still right in this way

Ok so I just finished and then rewatched the umbrella academy, and it finally processed to me that they 1. Had their names before five had disappeared, 2. Ben has the same name in both universes and 3. Their mother had picked their names.

This means that their mother had either randomly generated names for every kid and Ben just so happened to get Ben twice, or she has some type of algorithm to pick which name would be best for each kid based on their DNA or something which is why Ben got Ben.

Why wouldn’t 5 have a name, then? I have two theories, one is kind of boring and the other one is a lot of a stretch. Also, none of these have actual evidence to go with it so theories is all they are.

Theory 1. Five is a little bitch and refused to respond to whatever name their mom (who I forgot the name of, whoops) gave to them out of spite to their father, or just to be a little shit. Hell, maybe he just wasn’t used to responding to a different name than “five” so they just gave up and stuck with it.

And theory 2. Their mom couldn’t find a name for five. Hear me out on this one, ok? Five is a time traveler right? Right. So, maybe their mom couldn’t find a different name because she already new his DNA along another name in some types of system, maybe she and her alien technology robotic system could see that in the past (the actual past, like the 60s and five’s commission days) somebody with that DNA had the name of five, and just decided that that was his name. Again, it doesn’t make sense and is a LOT of a stretch but shut up I just woke up cut me some slack. Also hey, it’s just a theory.
