Why did David Tennant leave "Doctor Who"? He had given all his passion and energy to his role as the Tenth Doctor, which he had long dreamed of playing, making him one of the most beloved Doctors in the history of the series. So why did he decide to leave?
Firstly, it was a decision he had long contemplated. Tennant said that he wouldn't want to stay in the role for too long to avoid "taking it for granted". He always wanted to leave at a peak, when the audience still wanted more.

Object No: SCP-5055
Class: Thaumiel
Special Containment Procedures: A.R.M-5055 is to be stored in a soundproof chamber with a double locking system. The area around A.R.M-5055 must be equipped with noise-cancelling devices. Personnel interacting with A.R.M-5055 must wear noise-cancelling headphones. Use of A.R.M-5055 is permitted only with O5 Council approval and solely for the purpose of neutralizing other A.R.M objects.
Description: A.R.M-5055 is a bone flute of antique manufacture. The object itself is not dangerous until it produces sound. When a melody is played on A.R.M-5055, an anomalous event occurs: the area within approximately a 10-meter radius of the musician starts to "freeze" in time. Everything within this zone, including the musician, is put in a state of temporal stasis until the flute's sound ceases.
Organic and inorganic objects that have frozen in time are impervious to any external influences and remain in an unaltered state. When the music stops, everything returns to normal.
A.R.M-5055 has significant potential for use in the containment and neutralization of other A.R.M objects, particularly those that pose an active physical threat.
Note: While the idea of freezing time might seem appealing, it's important to remember the risks associated with using A.R.M-5055. The temporal stasis impacts the consciousness of those within the affected zone, hence personnel caught in the stasis may experience severe stress and psychological trauma. Ongoing psychological support is necessary for the personnel working with A.R.M-5055.

Item No: SCP-5821
Class: Euclid
Tumblr media
Item No: SCP-5821
Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5821 is to be contained within a standard observation chamber, encased in acid-resistant glass. The object should be provided with fresh flowers no less than twice a week. All personal contacts with SCP-5821 should be made through robotic systems. Staff are forbidden to have direct physical contact with the object.
Description: SCP-5821 is a glass vase containing a black rose. The rose constantly exudes a black liquid, similar to acid, that gradually erodes all materials it comes into contact with. The rose, however, appears to be unaffected by this acid.
SCP-5821 was discovered in [REDACTED] following a series of reports concerning mysterious incidents related to a "black rose." The object was confiscated and transported to SCP containment zones without incidents.
Should the rose fail to receive regular nourishment in the form of fresh flowers, it begins to actively secrete acid, which can permeate any protection and inflict substantial damage on the surrounding structure. In the event of the object's activation, SCP-5821 should be immediately provided with fresh flowers.
The reason why the rose requires nourishment in the form of fresh flowers remains unknown. Some researchers suggest that this might be connected with some form of symbiosis or mutual feeding between SCP-5821 and the flowers it consumes.
Incidents related to SCP-5821: [REDACTED]
Note: It is important to monitor the state of SCP-5821 and maintain its "nourishment" to prevent the object's activation and potential damage to the surrounding structure.

📺💫 Traveling through time and space has always been a fascinating concept, and no one does it better than our beloved Time Lord, Doctor Who. But did you know about the intriguing history behind the first Doctor?
🕰️👴 William Hartnell, the actor who first brought Doctor Who to life in 1963, was not initially keen on accepting the role. Known for his "tough guy" roles in film and on stage, Hartnell was unsure about taking on a character in what was then considered a children's science fiction series.
🌌🎭 However, Verity Lambert, the show's first producer and the first woman to hold such a position in the BBC, convinced Hartnell to accept the role. Her confidence in him was not misplaced. Hartnell's portrayal of the Doctor as an eccentric yet compassionate figure set the tone for the character's future regenerations.
🎬 And here's a fact that might surprise you: the Doctor's iconic character trait of "regenerating" to take on a new form (and actor) was a creative solution to Hartnell's declining health, which made it difficult for him to continue in the demanding role.
🔄 This brilliant concept not only allowed the show to continue after Hartnell's departure, but it also became a core part of Doctor Who's lore. It's a testament to the creativity and resilience of the show's creators and has allowed Doctor Who to stand the test of time.
💡 So, the next time you watch Doctor Who, remember the legacy of William Hartnell - the man who first stepped into the TARDIS and took us all on the adventure of a lifetime.

The alarm clock didn't ring again. Anna was twenty-four years old and had long been accustomed to the fact that the responsibility for the whole family lay on her shoulders.
Before work, she would get her teenage brother ready for school, calm down her mother with low self-esteem, and kiss her practically insane grandmother on the cheek.
The whole family had comfortably settled on the girl's shoulders. Each of the relatives had a good reason not to work. Only Anna didn't have one.
Maybe it was because she was plump? People generally don't tend to pity well-fed individuals. She often heard from her family and acquaintances that since she was big, her health was enough for ten people. The bedroom was cool and smelled of hyacinths that had recently bloomed on the windowsill. A thin, neat nose, short red hair, and two legs with red pedicure peeked out from under the warm, soft blanket.
Sunbeams, piercing through the curtains, warmed Anna's legs. The blanket rose slightly, and two chubby arms with blue nails emerged, followed by a freckled face. Anna stretched sleepily, muttered something indistinct, and sat up in bed.
It was suspiciously bright outside for six o'clock in the morning.
—Damn, — she cursed, sat up in bed, and looked at the nightstand where her phone usually lay. It wasn't there this time. —Cat! You rascal, you turned off the alarm.
Anna looked around and saw the silent phone on the floor. She sighed heavily, realizing she was already late for work. At that moment, the purring cat opened the door to her room with his paw. A cheeky, whiskered face appeared in the doorway.
— Mur-r-r, — the cat greeted Anna and jumped onto the bed with a single leap. Anna plunged her fingers into the soft cat fur.
— Did you turn off my phone again? Huh, bandit? — She squeezed his face with her hands, and the cat purred loudly. —You rascal. I should spank you on your mischievous bottom.
The cat rolled onto his back, fully surrendering to his owner's caresses.
— Anna, you overslept for work! — her mother's voice shouted from behind the door.
— I'm getting up, — Anna shouted back, stroking the tender belly of the purring cat. Anna had no idea that today she overslept for work for the last time. She hurriedly stuffed her curves into a white shirt, which blended with her natural skin tone into a single white canvas.

Doctor who regeneration
Tumblr media
Regeneration - a key element in the mythology of Doctor Who, which has allowed the show to maintain its freshness and intrigue for decades. Interestingly, this plot device was not originally conceived but was invented in response to unexpected circumstances.
The health of the first Doctor, William Hartnell, was rapidly deteriorating, and he decided to leave the show.
The creators of the series faced the problem of replacing the actor without wanting to destroy the established universe and storyline. As a result, they came up with regeneration - the ability of Gallifreyan Time Lords to transform their body and personality after receiving fatal wounds or illnesses. This allowed them to live longer than ordinary mortals.
Regeneration proved to be a brilliant move, allowing the show to maintain the continuity of its story while at the same time rejuvenating itself with new actors in the lead role.
This allowed for diversification of the Doctor's character and the creation of unique arcs for each incarnation.
Thanks to this idea, Doctor Who has stood the test of time and transformed from a small sci-fi series in the 60s to a cult phenomenon with generations of fans.
Regeneration has become an integral part of the show's mythology and one of its most recognizable and discussed aspects.

Hello everyone!
I want to introduce you to one of the main characters of my new project – Anna.
She's a young, strong woman who doesn't give up in the face of adversity and often pushes through.
I wrote a short introduction post from her perspective:
Hello, my name is Anna.
I'm 24 years old, and I used to work as a saleswoman in a small store.
I have a deeply depressed mother and a teenage brother to take care of. All my energy goes into looking after them.
Today started off particularly horrible.
My alarm clock didn't go off on time, and I was late for work.
On my way, a dog bit my leg. I don't know what was worse - the offense or the pain from the bite.
But I still hurried to work, knowing that my family needed the money.
When I arrived at the store, the manager called me into his office and fired me without any explanation.
I was in shock. Tears mixed with mascara ran down my cheeks and dripped onto the white shirt of my uniform.
I went outside to regain my composure. Sitting on the store steps, I thought about the future.
What will happen to my family now? How will my brother finish college, and how will my mother overcome her depression?
Should I resort to desperate measures?
What would sell faster, my kidney or... my body?
Broken and lost, I tried to find answers to all these questions, but they eluded me, leaving only fear and anxiety.

Hey, Potterheads! ✨ Did you know that J.K. Rowling originally intended to kill off one of our favorite characters? That's right! She planned to have Ron Weasley die in the middle of the series! 😱 Thankfully, she changed her mind, and Ron became an essential part of the Golden Trio until the end. Can you imagine the story without him? 🤔💕

Hello everyone. I've been looking for a long time where to post my book and found Wattpad! But I don't understand how to make it there.
My story, which I posted on Wattpad, is more autobiographical. In it, I share memories of growing up during the Soviet Union and its collapse.
The focus of the story is on the vivid imagination of a little girl, that is, me. I tried to present it all with humor. But, gosh, it's so hard to write annotations. It's beyond my powers!

Hello World
Tumblr media
Hello everyone. My name is Natasha. I am a novice writer. Due to the events in Ukraine, I cannot monetize my stories properly, which upsets me greatly. I am looking for an audience for my work. It is a little unusual and childish. Unfortunately, my English is not very good, but ChatGPT helps me to translate my stories.
Today I tried to post an excerpt from my story on Wattpad, translated into English with the help of ChatGPT. Let's see what happens. Although I am a little scared because the translation turned out to be a bit strange. But I hope that everything will work out in the end. I would be glad to hear your advice and recommendations!
