This was easily the best night of my entire life. Its so weird to me that a few months ago I was dating someone who told me I was "the one", and told me constantly I was wifey material. He later broke up with me two days after my birthday because he "didn't believe in marriage". Actually he didn't break up with me. We fought and then he said "I need time to think", changed his relationship status on Facebook, ignored my pleas to talk about it, reactivated his tinder and was back in another relationship in two weeks. Now I'm back together with my best friend and soulmate. Someone who also said he would never get married. He told me he knows getting married is something I want, and because he loves me and wants me to be happy, he wants me to marry him. Thank you so much for getting me to a place where I wasn't constantly talking to crisis hotlines or writing my note. Thank you for making me hopeful again. Thank you for getting help for your addiction and your mental health. Thank you for sticking by me in my darkest times. I love you.

Holy shit I'm basically engaged 💜

Finally don't have to talk to the crisis hotline daily now, I'm not hurting myself everyday like I was, I'm eating again, I cry for normal reasons instead of just randomly, I repaired friendships I tried to sabotage, I'm working on dealing with borderline personality disorder, my ex Andy literally saved my life and gave me something to live for, we're fixing our issues, and I finally feel like I might be able to be happy again. The sweetest thing though, is that from the day I met him, Andy was a huge part of my life. I used to hope he'd ask me to marry him someday, but he had a LOT of issues and we kept breaking up. He also said he wasn't the type to get married or settle down. But recently when we talked about it again, I asked why he suddenly changed his mind about marriage, and he said "I wanna be with you no matter if there's a ring or not. I know you've always wanted to get married, and I want you to be happy, so why not?" I think I cried for an hour. You are my best friend, my biggest support, my life saver, my first real love, and my soul mate. Thank you for fixing me even though I was broken in every sense of the word. For putting up with my issues. For getting help so it was even possible for you to ask me to be your wife. And especially for never leaving me even though I begged you to. I love you puddin.
