Shez MOM....some hcs under cut
Formerly a talented scientist mage, Hypathia worked to develop the technology to preserve Agarthan culture after her kind were banished. However, the majority of the displaced Agarthans were more bent on planning an invasion on the aboveground "beasts."
She had initially made the technology to store information through artifical "drives". Epimenedes caught wind of this project and stole her work to make "cores": artificial devices that stored memories and conscious, which could be implanted into hosts.
The hosts ranged from captured "beasts" to artificially made bodies. This further developed into body possession. Hypathia, upon finding this out, was vocally against Epimenedes. Such careless use of lives horrified her.
But it was too late: his technology was being widely used by the Agarthans to extend their lives, and she had no influence over them. So Hypathia instead sought revenge against Epimenedes.
One day, Hypathia found out Epimenedes was undergoing core transfer into a new body. She took this oppurtunity to find the location of the procedure, and interrupted it by stealing his host: Shez.
Using magic to disguise herself, Hypathia eventually found refuge in a mountain village by claiming she was a healer (now named "Lillia") with a very small child. As thanks for letting them stay, Lillia became the quiet apothecary/doctor of the village.
Since she never had used the core technology to extend her life, she knew her body was not going to last long. But after all the ostracism from the Agarthans, Hypathia was happy to spend the remainder of her life raising Shez…

Progress #1

"The graphic artist Brandon S. Pilcher...has created a series of illustrations of famous ancient African women that address post-colonial deconstructions of Western classicism. These colorful black-African characters include Hatshepsut, Nefertiti, Cleopatra VII, Hypathia and Sophonisba."

Thoughts
I am in need of Stone Henge,
in need of the teachings of Hypathia, the back and fourth,
I want to speak with the oracles and shamans,
the old men of the woods,
I want to share communally within my community,
with other men, women, elders, and children,
I want a wife to be in communication and dialogue with
a wife who is in communication with the gods, the earth, and other women,
I want children,
children to raise,
I want to be in nature, but I also want to be in a civilization
that combines, all of the intimacies of paganism, naturalism, sex, community.

Celebrating Women in Philosophy Reading List
To celebrate women's contributions to philosophy, we have created a reading list of books and online resources that explore classic female philosophers and recent feminist philosophy. Despite the lack of opportunity in academic philosophy and their apparent invisibility in the field, women have been practising philosophers for many centuries. Some of the great social and cultural movements have also been enriched by the female minds. Explore books and articles on feminist philosophy, gender oppressions, and women's empowerment below.
Natural Goodness, by Philippa Foot, Clarendon Press
Down Girl: The Logic of Misogyny, by Kate Manne
Categories We Live By: The Construction of Sex, Gender, Race, and Other Social Categories, by Ásta
