I just watched Frozen (because I'm in that kind of mood) and while I've always loved it, I just have two questions:
How was Olaf's willingness to melt for Anna not an act of true love?
Tumblr media
How in the world was Anna not immediately in love with Kristoff like she [thought she] was with Hans? Kristoff is completely adorable and completely competent in terms of survival.

Eugene Fitzherbert
Sure thing!
Eugene Fitzherbert
OTP: Eugene/Rapunzel, of course. And, forever and always. ❤ BroTP: Eugene and Lance Strongbow and Eugene and Maximus. OT3: I don't have one. There is, however, a wonderfully wholesome and incredibly well-written piece of fanfiction that eventually leads to Anna and Kristoff from the Frozen franchise becoming an OT4 with Rapunzel and Eugene. I cannot more highly recommend it if you're even the tiniest bit curious. NoTP: Eugene/Cassandra and Eugene/Varian. No thank you. I'm also of the mind that Eugene and Lance are both varying flavors of bisexual, but had the "no offense, buddy, but you're not my type", and "none taken. You're not mine, either", conversation at some point.
Thank you so much for stopping by and asking!

I had a scenario in mind earlier and its not a new concept but. What if Iduna and Agnarr could somehow return and like be there whenever they need.
And I imagined a scenario where Iduna and Yelena see each other again and I feel like they would be happy to see each other again
Tumblr media
So I drew a little fanart. Agnarr was suppose to be there two but I have to go to work soon so I got no time
I was also thinking about Agnarr meeting Matthias again. I feel like theyd be happy to see each other again.
Also also! Imagine them meeting now Queen Anna, the staff members of the castle, old friends, literally Arendell as a whole really. Heck theyd be meeting Kristoff, Sven and Olaf. Imagine seeing thier reaction to Olaf literally being alive. Also both Agnarr and Iduna bieng so proud of Anna seeing her all grown up.
Or them seeing the giant Ice castle with Marshmallow and the Snowgies. Also them questioning if Marshmallow and the Snowgies are Elsas kids because she made them technaclly. Lmao imagine theyre faces xD
Also Iduna and Agnarr visiting the Northuldra Settlement. Like imagine how happy Iduna would be to see her people again. Agnarr would probably feel really damn guilty and stand in the background somewhere a bit akwardly but happy to see Iduna happy. Them meeting Honeymaren and Ryder and the rest of the tribe
And then! And then them reuniting with both the spirits and Elsa. Iduna has seen and interacted with Elsa in Athohallan but still being incredibly happy and proud that she has found her calling. Good old pop would also be incredibly proud of her too of course. Eventho there will be alot of guilt for what has happend in the past (frozen 1). Really making him question his life choices.
And for the Elsamaren fans. Including myself:
I feel like Iduna would be like ,,oh so you are the girl that Elsa likes so much" and Elsa shoots her head up and turns ,,MOM?!" like embarass her a bit. Everybody else just finds it funny. Also them being dumfounded but supportive of Elsa. Agnarr is confused but he got the spirit (get it?)
Those are a few ideas I have. This is just something a bit more wholesome.

...man Kristanna fans were this small wholesome group. Now F3 news came out, and they became the most unpleasent people around.
The movie IS ABOUT THE SISTERS, and filial love. Not about Kristoff, or the typical heterosexual couple getting married and having 5 kids bore.
Damn.

I've been playing Disney Dreamlight Valley for some time now and here are my observations:
Remy is my least favourite villager. I know everyone hates Mother Gothel but I find her okay. But when that stupid rat has a quest for me he sounds so passive-aggressive I really don't feel like doing anything for him. Is he as unbearable in the actual movie??
It's so stressful when I try to fish and the villagers insists on observing it like it's the freaking Olympics? I don't need Goofy and Kristoff staring at me while I just try to fish for some shrimp.
I kinda love how random the character gallery is. Like they don't have any Wish or Inside Out characters to promo the new movies (at least for now) but then you can have Ursula hanging out in your pond.
I like that they decided to make the game not free to play so that there is less content requiring micropayments. I play the Arcade edition so I don't have any option for that anyway but yeah.
The dialogue is really fun in this game!! I always appreciate when you can choose a sarcastic option for dialogue, because I am inclined to always choose that. The villagers might be mostly wholesome and nice but I sure am not!

Tag Game!
tagged by @haruandmayo (ty it was such a nice surprise!! this blog has been dead for quite a while but maybeeee i could post something again and get to know my cool mutuals better...)
1. Last Song
Tamer – Beautiful Crime (oooh so dramatic..... yummy)
2. Currently Watching
Well, nothing at the moment, but I really wanna rewatch Anne woth an E soon (it's such a wholesome and beautiful show 🥺)
3. Three Ships
Oof, only three?? I guess I get the most brainrot from mashirui, johnlock and mystrade (but I have tons of other bandori and non-bandori otps hehehe)
4. Favourite Color
Can't pick one!! It's blue, green and yellow for me (they're like my inner vibe or smth)
5. Currently Consuming
Nothing, but I'm gonna have my evil gay breakfast and then go to an evil gay walk. Self care
6. First Ship
That's a hard question actually bc I'm not sure which was the first first... Let's say it's the Disney Beauty and the Beast, love the book nerd and her furry bf so much!!! They were blorbos from my cartoon
7. Relationship Status
Single but with a hopeless crush... I'm a Sherlock coded person crushing on a John coded person. The tragedy
8. Latest Movie
I rewarched frozen recently and it was really cute! Anna and Kristoff are the best couple, and I'd like to add that Kristoff is some high quality writing and very good boyfriend material (even my lesbian ass approved his healthy communicaton and slow realistic development of his relationship with Anna)
9. Currently Working On
Well, at this particular moment I'm sitting in my evil gay bed getting late for my evil gay walk, but generally I'm trying to rewrite my fanfic that I've abandoned a huge time ago... I really really want to finish flame of hope bc this story is VERY important to me and I want it to be told but... writing is hard sometimes and there's school and my iron deficiency....... i am cringe (also not free)
I'm not sure I should share some of my new work right now bc I'm afraid that if I promise something to my readers again I'll fail again, so I'm trying to write just for process' sake. Besides flame of hope I'd like to post something abt Morfonica again, but I'm not quite sure what exactly... Well, we'll see if I can do something nice for the fandom again <3

~OCs as other characters~
Okay I'm less in a crunchy mood for this now (April 1st is not my friend so when I first tried to do this earlier I was cranky as hell and some of the results really irked me.) I have tried again.
I was tagged by @bnbc
Rules: take this quiz and share 5 (or more! or less! the world is your oyster!) results from the top 50 that you feel really fit your oc(s). if you don’t recognize very many from the top 50, feel free to expand into the top 100
Tumblr media
I will admit most of the results I have no clue who they are??? But I picked some I recognized/agree with:
Kristoff (Frozen): 89% (Strong no nonsense, pretty wholesome, adopted family. Sometimes a lil clueless. lolol)
Maurice (Beauty and the Beast): 89% (Def a tinkerer of mechanical things)
Daryl Dixon (The Walking Dead): 84% (Occasionally distant, but fiercely loyal and willing to go through hell for loved ones. Absolutely.)
Robert 'Bobby Elvis' Munson (Sons of Anarchy): 83% (A good voice of reason, even tempered and not afraid to use violence when necessary.)
Dustin Henderson (Stranger Things): 83% (sharp wits, a lil goofy and very caring.)
I thiiiiiink most of peeps I would have tagged have already done this or been tagged already? Uhhh uhhh if ya see this and wanna do it, feel free to~

Wait, are you also opposed to the idea of Anna with a sword? Gee, I don't like it at all - the idea itself is great, I love Merida and Mulan is one of my childhood heroes, but it doesn't fit Anna. Sometimes I feel like giving her a sword takes away all of her special qualities, she doesn't have to fight and wear pants to be a strong female character, I loved her being strong with her fluffy romantic characteristics!
Yes, Anon. I wouldn't call it "opposition", since it's just a nice headcanon but alas, I don't get why Anna, a romantic, cheerful princess/queen, should be someone like Merida and Mulan. The fact that Anna is brave and strong and capable of a lot to protect her kingdom does not mean that she should put on the image of a Warrior Queen or "Elsa's knight". I don't think she needs masculine attributes, if you know what I mean.
Besides, I think that the original sword idea in F2 was about something else altogether. It was either Revolute, the sword of Aren the Jarl, her ancestor or even Runearad's very sword and was supposed to play as a bright contrast and subtext: yet another ruler of Arendelle comes to the Enchanted Forest with a weapon, but then this ruler (Anna) realizes that her kingdom has been wrong all these years and throws the sword aside, ending the enmity. I see it this way ❄
My(maybe wrong) understanding of the sword history is based on the Forest of Shadows where Revolute turned out to be useless for Anna; on the early F2 poster where the sword breaks the ice of the fjord; on the picture from the book "Exploring the North" where Anna, Kristoff and Mattias find supposedly Runeard's sword on the way back from the Forest; and on the way Yelana was scared when Mattias started threatening to support their Queen in, how he seemed to think, the new war with Northuldra.
From all this, I made up a hedcanon that Anna and Kristoff could take Revolute with them, but then realizing that the Northuldra were good Anna wanted to get rid of it somehow or said some wholesome speech in the spirit of the Forest of Shadows' "Swords and Crowns do not change who we are."
Or the scene of Anna and Kristoff's conversation at the Dam could include a scene of finding Runeard's sword at the very place where he killed the Leader. Then, of course, having learned the truth she would have refused such a weapon.
Even if Anna's sword is not one of these remarkable swords, it could just be the sword of the Arendelle soldiers, since in "Anna, Elsa and the Secret River" book, the girls have already found weapons left after the Battle.

Birdpark
Tumblr media
Flightless bird, proud and turquoise, gyrating and emoting under the sun like glittery, birdy hoofers.
Shoes in the swan's beaks, black was her colour, she liked shoelaces.
Blithe in the air, reek of monkey dung, sore, happy feet.
American mouths, laughing languorously feeding old fishes and cleaning the pond My friends are wholesome kind souls.
Sifted in sultry sweat, Zipper Nasa sweater was À la mode nowadays; beauty is a sacrifice.
Parrots in flight, I said "They look beautiful when they fly." We slide down the playground slides with the kids and flew to the air with our stomachs full of butterflies.
We went into the unknown, holding Kiiroitori and Tokage in our bagpacks, and laughed away at Kristoff's 80s power ballad our bellies sweet with ice cream.

Breaking: Hallmark to Revamp Cable Channels
Story by Liv Lane • 46m
In a matter of weeks, two of Hallmark Media‘s three cable networks will undergo a significant makeover. At a winter preview presentation for the Television Critics Association (TCA) on February 6, 2024, Hallmark executives — joined by network stars including Luke Macfarlane and Alison Sweeney — announced that two of its channels, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and Hallmark Drama, will be rebranded with new names and more clearly-defined programming, according to CableFax (CFX).
Here’s what you need to know:
During its presentation to the TCA on February 6, Hallmark executives are expected to announce that Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will mark its 20th anniversary by being renamed Hallmark Mysteries. The change will take effect on March 6, per CFX. Meanwhile, Hallmark Drama will become Hallmark Family starting on February 28
The goal, according to a statement from programming EVP Lisa Hamilton Daly, is to “ensure that viewing experiences across all networks and platforms are uniquely authentic.” That means Hallmark Mystery will exclusively air “fun, engaging mysteries” while Hallmark Family features “wholesome family stories,” she said.
A tweet sent during the event by Hallmark Drama’s account revealed the new logo for Hallmark Family and said viewers can expect to “continue to enjoy timeless storytelling for the whole family centered around faith, love, and community.”
https://twitter.com/HallmarkDrama/status/1754931909849973194
According to reporters in attendance at the TCA event in Los Angeles, including Meghan O’Keefe of Decider and Carly Lane-Perry of Collider, Hallmark kicked off its presentation with a panel of stars appearing in recent and upcoming mysteries:
Aimee Garcia and Paul Campbell of “The Cases of Mystery Lane,” which aired its first mystery in March 2023 and will return with a sequel in 2024, Lane-Perry tweeted.
Sweeney and Victor Webster, who have been filming the next “Hannah Swensen” mystery together, with Webster replacing Cameron Mathison in a mystery written and executive produced by Sweeney.
Macfarlane and Lyndie Greenwood from “Crimetime: Freefall,” set to premiere on February 23.
Ali Skovbye and Danny Griffin of “Gilded Newport Mysteries,” which premiered on February 2. O’Toole tweeted that Hallmark is waiting for full ratings results to decide whether to film a sequel.
Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has long featured reruns of classic mystery series, beginning with series like “Magnum P.I.,” per Variety, combined with its original mystery movies. O’Keefe tweeted that Daly told reporters that changing to the new name, Hallmark Mystery, does mean that are “looking into expanding into mystery television series.”
Since 2022, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has also become the home of movies made under its faith-based Dayspring banner and its Mahogany brand, which focuses on telling the stories of African American women. It is not clear if those brands will stay put or move over to the new Hallmark Family.
After Canceling Some Popular Mystery Series, Hallmark is Beginning New Franchises
Hallmark Channel launched on cable TV in 2001, according to Variety, as a broadcast extension of Hallmark, the Kansas City greeting card company founded in 1910. Three years later, in January 2004, the company launched its sister network, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, to feature overflow movies from the primary channel and reruns of classic mystery TV series.
During the last 20 years, the channel has evolved to include original mystery franchises, primarily featuring popular crime-solving duos. But in recent years, fans — who affectionately call themselves “sleuthers” — have been up in arms about the network dropping several long-running franchises, like the canceled “Mystery 101” movies starring Kristoffer Polaha and Jill Wagner.
Over the past year, however, the network has experimented with new mysteries, including airing three successful “Curious Caterer” movies starring Nikki Deloach and Andrew Walker, and pairing Chabert with Will Kemp for their first “Dancing Detective” movie last June. Hallmark also just aired its first historical mystery, ”
In December 2023, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ achieved record-breaking ratings with its final Christmas movie of the year,  “Miracle in Bethlehem, P.A.,” starring Benjamin Ayres and Laura Vandervoort. Both actors shared a Hallmark press release announcing that the film “broke ratings records for the network, becoming the #1 most-watched premiere of 2023” on the channel.
According to CFX, the re-branded Hallmark Mystery will likely still feature an annual lineup of original holiday movies, but they may have more mystery infused in them.

So while I was writing chapter 6 of The Next Unknown, Kristoff suddenly popped into my head and whispered ‘hey what if Elsa taught me how to braid so I could surprise Anna?’
Um—YES.
I wrote a smidgeon of it into The Next Unknown... then realised there was a whole oneshot swimming around in my head. This is that oneshot! You don’t need to read The Next Unknown to understand it, but it certainly is a little thank you for the readers who have followed the story so far!
---
For the record, here’s the culprit; the original mini-scene from ch. 6 of The Next Unknown:
"What are you doing?" Anna asked.
"Do you have a hairband on you?"
She slipped one off her wrist and handed it over her shoulder, shooting him a curious smile as she caught on. "Are you sure you know what you're doing?"
"I've practiced on Kjekk's tail."
"Brave man. You didn't get your face kicked in?"
"Almost. I actually couldn't get anywhere near him. Ended up looping some rope around Sven's antlers."
Anna laughed and turned around in his lap so he could work more easily, her long hair burning like the flames in the fireplace. "And is Sven as good at braiding as he is at charades?"
"Nope. He was useless." Kristoff drew her hair back and split it into three. Left, cross, right, cross. "Good thing someone who is dreadful at charades but brilliant at braiding came along to teach me."
"… Elsa taught you how to braid?"
"Why is that so surprising?"
"Um."
"Yeah, okay, I get it. I wasn't expecting it either. She walked in on me practicing and scared the life out of me."
May I? his sister-in-law had asked amusedly; a redundant question seeing as the ropes were already in her hands after Kristoff had yelped and thrown them into the air. Her deft hands had blurred together. This is a French braid. Dutch braid. Pull-through braid. Waterfall braid. The symmetry of Anna's pigtails would be difficult for a beginner; I suggest you start with a simple three-strand braid. Here, hold your fingers like this…
At the end, Elsa had smiled shyly and asked, Would you like to try it for real now? He'd thought it meant they were going to find Anna, but Elsa had shaken out her hair and sat down in front of him. And Kristoff had been overcome by an emotion not unlike the first time he had seen her ice palace.
