Pairing: MC!Peter Parker-Stark x Barnes!Reader

Returning home after bailing out without so much as a goodbye. Leaves a lot to deal with when I show up again. Only I’m not alone and this time I’ve got bigger issues than how I left.                   I left to find a normal life, but when you’re raised on chaos and crime, normal isn’t a fit. Now I need the club, and Peter. The two I ran out on without so much as a backwards glance.                 Facing Peter again isn’t something I’d ever be ready for, not after everything that went down the night I left. But I can’t outrun him and I, and without him I’m pretty sure I’m good as dead. Was coming home a good idea when it puts those I love at risk of someone killing them to get their hands on me?

Peter sits on the edge of his bed, checking his phone. Naked, toned back to me. Rolling to my back, I let out a heavy sigh. He shifts on the bed to look at me.

“What’s wrong?” He asks, his phone forgotten.

Sucking in a slow breathe. “I really fucked up, Peter.”

He moves, scooting in closer to me.

“We’ll find out who is at this, I promise.” He reaches over, brushing away a curl from my face.

Closing my eyes, I drag my hands into my hair.

“I think I already know.”

It’s silent for a moment.

“Okay, who?” He waits.

Chewing my bottom lip, I drop my hands, sitting up suddenly. His sheets and blankets pooling around my waist.

“The club will disown me.” Shrugging a shoulder, looking away from him.

He curses under his breathe.

“What did you do, Darlin?”

When I look over, deep brown eyes are watching me intently.

“I’ll lose you too.” I admit softly.

Standing in the chapel of the club, the guys sit around the table, they’re passing around the photos Frank found at the house while getting my things. Howie flicks one to the center of the table, the worse one of them all.

A photo of Peter kissing my cheek, at the bar, before the guys left. A pen carved ‘Mine’ into the photo, over and over. Peter’s face scribbled out.

“Darlin’,” Peter sighs, leaning back in his seat.

“I have something to admit.” I admit, leaning on the window frame, behind the head of the table. My brothers turn quickly in their chairs.

“What’s wrong?” Howie leans forward.

Sucking in a deep breathe. “Broad question, How.” I sigh, rubbing my hands over my face. “What I did, by MC laws you can, the club has the right to disown me.”

“Fuck.” Howie blinks at me.

Steve swallows hard.

“What did you do, Y/N?” Buck looks almost scared for the first time in my life.

Nodding slowly, I chew my bottom lip for a moment. “I mentioned when I showed up, about my almost one night stand.” Peter’s jaw set already. “There’s a reason it was almost.” Sighing.

“What made you run?” Howie asks, the only one brave enough.

Swallowing hard, I look him dead in the eye. “Do you remember when Karen and I were attacked?”

Each one turns pale white.

Rand, Quill, and Luke look confused.

“You were attacked?” Luke asks.

Tony’s hand slips over Peter’s shoulder, gripping.

“I’ll start from the beginning.” I nod.

Howie drags his hands down his face.

TC looks down at his coffee cup, like he wished it was something stronger.

Steve grips the arms on his chair.

Peter doesn’t drag his eyes away from me, once.

Buck tips his head back, staring up at the ceiling.

Tony is the only one to get up, pulling up a chair for me.

“No surprise, I was a wild child.” I start as I take the seat, Tony returns to his own. “A Barnes, born into the MC life, go figure I loved trouble from the go, hell I dated Peter Parker-Stark, trouble with all caps.” I smirk at him, he winks at me. The other guys chuckle.

“Steve and Buck taught me to fight by the time I was in middle school. Not that I needed it, Peter usually was the first to throw hands in my defense.” I shrug. “What’s a wild child without a wild best friend?” A sad smirk on my lips. “I started out with Nat, than she started banging my brother. Somehow, I ended up with Karen as my best friend, just as much of a wild child too.”

Peter looks to be holding his breathe, Howie looks boarder line sick to his stomach. “Karen liked to party and by party, I mean, party, party. I used to like to piss off Peter and Howie, tempt that temper and possessive side of Peter.” The guys laugh, Luke drops his head, laughing hard.

“Used too? Aren’t you still?” TC chuckles.

“Well I mean, some habits never really die.” I wink at him. “Karen had this dealer. Shady as they come, I mean I never gave him a second thought, I never really had anything to do with him. I was with her a few times for deals, to get a fix.”

Peter leans forward, pulling me from the chair, into his lap. I don’t fight it, just let him. He wraps his arms around my waist, forehead resting on my shoulder.

“Why would I worry about some dealer? Daughter of the MC prez, Notorious brawler Bucky Barnes, baby sister. Fuck I was dating Peter Parker-Stark, who hit the captain of the football team so hard he missed the first half of the season, for touching me.” I shrug my other shoulder.

“Karen got herself into trouble, some seriously bad trouble. She messed up big time, her dealer made her hold some junk, to appease her debt to him, but one night she got all messed up and lost it, all.” Sucking in a deep breathe.

“That’s not good.” Rand looks nervous.

“A few weeks later, we’re walking back from the lake, up the road. Heading here to beg Peter to bring us home.” I nod slowly. “They grabbed us, the dealer and some other guys. He had help I guess.” Swallowing hard. “He wanted payment, or to let us work it off.” Peter’s arms tighten around me slowly. “No wasn’t the answer he was looking for. I knew Karen was in deep, I knew they were going to come looking for her. I never said anything to anyone.” Blinking a few times, rapidly.

“When I say they wanted payment, I don’t mean, they wanted cash. Karen start fighting back, she started screaming, scratching, kicking, clawing.” I shake involuntary. Peter hugs me tighter. “It left the one, the, who grabbed me, distracted. I fought back, smashed my knee into his junk, when he folded, I rammed it into his jaw. When he hit the dirt, I bailed out, running. I,” stopping, swallowing thickly.

“She came out on the road, not far from here. She ran till she hit the doors, here. Collapsing in the main room.” Howie nods slowly, finishing for me. “We ordered retaliation instantly.”

“It’s the night Peter was to be VP.” My voice shakes.

“The night you left town.” Peter lifts his head.

Nodding slowly, I chew my bottom lip. Clearing my throat, I suck in a deep breathe.

“I met this guy, one night. He seemed nice, funny, I guess with a few drinks he wasn’t bad looking.” I shrug. Peter snorts softly. “Not everyone moves on sober.” I side glance at him.

His mouth opens to retort, but I cut him off.

“Anyways. I have about six too many after I was already drunk.” I shrug.

“Sounds right.” Howie nods. TC chuckles into his fist.

“Fuck off.” I roll my eyes. “I agreed to go back to his place, cause why not? I’m trying to move on, I’m trying so hard. Only, it doesn’t get to far.” I admit, with the tip of my head.

“How far?” Clint wonders.

“He pulled his hoodie off, the under shirt coming up with it. It was his tattoo, like being sucker punched, I was scrambling for my jacket and purse, I’m pretty sure I left a dent in his door, trying to run.” I sigh.

“Why stop there?” Barney wonders.

“Something about that tattoo. I can’t, I don’t know why, but I swear I’d seen it before. It gave me this gut throbbing bad feeling.”

“Where did you see it before?” Luke asks.

“A rival clubs tattoo.” I swallow.

Peter’s arms drop from me instantly in shock.

The whole table blurts out. “What?” at once.

“What club?” Steve stares at me.

“The Sinners.” I glance away.

Yo, I've seen your book rec posts on and off for a while, and I was wondering if you could (if you have time ^.^ if not, that's cool too) throw up a list of your favorite lgbt/neurodivergent/unique protagonist books? I don't think I've ever read a book outside of fanfiction where the lead/s weren't just some form of 'normal' or straight or whatever. Also, since you're one of my favorite authors I feel like I'd be more inclined to give one of them a go lol ^.^'

There are an increasing number of diverse books out there!

Here are some of my personal favourites in no particular order, by which I mean I have rated them 4 stars (I really liked it) or 5 stars (it was amazing) and then curated the list some more on top of that. E.g. I might have thought it was amazing at the time, but if I can't tell you anything that happened in the story years after reading it, it's not on the list. That doesn't mean it's not worth reading, just that I have a bad memory so if I remember it definitely did something right!)

i am winning the idgaf wars when it comes to the magnus protocol bruh.

i cannot get myself to be even remotely interested in this series. im listening out of obligation (number 1 tma fan), but i end up just waiting around for those 20 minutes to end with zero interest. for there to be a sequel to the magnus archives, a podcast with a fully rounded and complete elaborate storyline, it has to justify itself. to me, tmp doesn’t justify itself.

right now, tmp feels like someone going “oh! oh you liked THIS?? you liked THIS PART of tma??? well look at THIS!!!!! this is THAT!!!!!” and it completely flops at it every time. i won’t say its shit, i’ve liked certain episodes and i enjoy some of the characters, but side by side with tma…? come on

part of the beauty of tma is that every episode felt like you were slowly uncovering a plot with the mc. not only that, but characters were gradually introduced, and supplementals didn’t even have proper full character scenes/dialogues until s3, (a little in s2). then look at tmp. the first episode is random characters ive never heard of talking all at once, and this continues for every episode until the current one. i don’t care about any of these characters, and i feel no attachment or ‘riding along with the mc’ feeling with any of them. it feels like a random group of people sprinkled in amongst a vaguely tma-ish plot.

i also hate the attempt to INSTANTLY get into the ‘ooo big background mystery’ when there absolutely hasn’t even been enough context set for that to even matter to the listener. why do i care that gwen is getting promoted? why would any of this sinister secret plot matter to me when i barely understand the way that this institution functions normally? (which i don’t even know the name of, mind you).

you could easily say “but dan!! this will be SHORTER than tma!! its 3 seasons, not 5!!!” think about what was achieved in 3 seasons of tma. by season 3, jon was in his exploration era. he was meeting mike, jude, the monster hunters, gerry, nikola, sarah, he learned about the nature of the entities, we learnt about rituals, learnt that jon wasn’t fully human anymore, hell we even met peter, and we saw elias’ ass being sent to jail!

the pace of tmp is so fast when its plot already bears so little relevance to the listener, and it doesnt help that some of these episodes are, in complete honesty, poor. i find the writing of characters and the interactions between characters rather poor already as well.

im not trying to be harsh, but this is definitely nagging at me. ive been growing fairly irritated with tmp. feel free to disagree obviously, i can see why people would be fans. but it doesn’t hold a candle to tma. im trying reaaaally hard to give it a chance, but im growing more and more disappointed/underwhelmed by the day . pllbbttfhhh . 👎

You play as a Divine, a child of a blessed line. Ancient blood runs through your veins, granting you mastery over life and death. Trained from a young age to slay the supernatural, you’ve often found yourself wondering if there’s more to life than the hand that you’ve been dealt.

Fortunately, most creatures are few and far between these days, and you, the ever reluctant destroyer, have finally been granted the chance to finish your physics doctorate at the university of Aloiswick, a town in the middle of nowhere, Aotearoa, New Zealand.

What you weren’t expecting were the three housemates who were completely incapable of staying out of trouble, nor were you expecting that the sleepy, run-down town that you now temporarily called your base was actually home to the remnants of the vampire population.

If you're discovered, you'll be forced into a situation that you have no desire to be in. So you plan to lay low, finish your research, and go, but unfortunately, the universe has never been that kind to you.

Customisable MC (gender (cis + trans), pronouns, appearance, sexuality, height, body type, hair colour/length/style, eye colour(s), skin colour, scars, etc…)

Set skills include weapon mastery, hand-to-hand combat, high intelligence, basic mastery over elemental powers.

Jace/Jade Cooper [Cis!M/Cis!F]

With a hot temper, a charismatic attitude, and a degree in sarcasm, it’s no wonder that Jace/Jade has been branded the ‘local troublemaker and resident heartbreaker’. On the surface, they seem to take pride in their titles, but beneath that, is a cesspool of grief and survivors guilt. Due to this, Jace/Jade claims that they would do anything to protect their loved ones, and after baring witness to their brutal fighting style and near predatory instincts, you don’t doubt that.

Jace/Jade is not difficult to romance, and their route can either be fast or slow burn. They love fiercely and with all their heart, and they would do anything to protect you from harm.

Aslan/Asena Kaminski/a [Cis!M/Cis!F]

25 | 5’10ft | Demiromantic, Bisexual | Based on: Michael Glass

Aslan/Asena seems like they have their life together. A nice house, a cushy job, and friends and family who love them. However, you are quickly coming to learn that even the seemingly sanest people have a deep routed darkness within them. Their elegant charm, calming presence, and knack for mediation allows you to feel comfortable and at home in company, but you can’t help but wonder if anyone truly knows Aslan/Asena, including themself.

Aslan/Asena is not difficult to romance, but their route is on the slower burn side. They are a complicated soul, but they will love you passionately and without regret.

Shae Peters [NB]

If you looked up the definition of ‘bubbly’ in the dictionary, you would likely find a picture of Shae. Xe wears xyr heart upon xyr sleeve, and is one of the most genuinely sweet people that you’ve ever met. Although excitable and at times, a major drama queen(gn), when needed, Shae can be as cold-hearted as the rest. With a quiet anger to match Jace/Jade’s burning one, Shae is not someone to underestimate, especially when it comes to something as important as xyr families safety.

Shae is not difficult to romance, and xyr route can either be fast or slow burn. Falling in love with Shae feels natural, like it could have been something you were always meant to do.

Eirian [Cis!M/Cis!F/NB]

Eirian is a mystery to all. As a pureblood vampire with a mind to rival that of the greats, ze could easily be a huge threat to Céléna’s reign. Lucky for them, Eirian has no desire to rule over anyone, and is content to stay in the background. For now. Unfortunately, ze is completely unpredictable, and with zir cheerful disposition, most never see the warning signs of an incoming decision change. Eirian also has a vicious territorial streak which can make zir unpredictability even more dangerous. However, for reasons you can’t fathom, ze seems to develop a soft spot for you right from your very first meeting.

Eirian is not necessarily difficult to romance, but zir route is slow burn. However, once you’re zirs, ze would defy the laws of reality in order to simply see you smile.

Tarak/Talia [Trans!M/Trans!F]

When you first met them, they seemed laid-back and unassuming. Trustworthy even. It doesn’t take long for you to realise that there’s something not quite right about them though. Tarka/Talia is stoic and authoritative, and is constantly vying against Céléna for the chance to rule Aloiswick. Despite this, you wouldn’t class them as a bad person, especially not when you’ve seen them giving away free coffees and sandwiches to those who are less well off. Tarka/Talia might be ruthless, but they’re also kind, no matter how much they deny it.

Tarak/Talia is difficult to romance, but with their love comes a feeling of safety and warmth. They would defend you against all others.

Céléna [NB-F]

900+ (25) | 5'1ft I Demiromantic, Asexual | Based on: Amelie

Cold, calculating, and powerful. A queen with almost a millennium of experience, and bodies, behind them and a willingness to sacrifice anything or anyone to protect their people, Céléna is not someone that you’d desire to have as an enemy. Which makes it all the more shocking when you see just how much she cares about Aloiswick and it’s people. So much so that it has almost destroyed her on several occasions. Is there more to this ice queen than you’ve been lead to believe?

Céléna is difficult to romance, but once you have their love, you will never want for anything again. She would give you everything she was capable of.

finally finished reading house of many ways, the third and last book of howl’s moving castle series! it’s a fun book to read. especially howl being a kid named sparkle, and the mcs, charmain and peter, are both chaotic and fun too. i’ll miss the series though</3.

Not really directly related to the X-Men, but did you ever read the original series for the Power Pack? What did you think?

I'm a big Power Pack fan, having started with their intersections with the Claremont run - as I've talked about in the past, Claremont, Simonson, et al. were masters of the crossover, so it was natural that they would want to give a push to Weezy's characters in the X-books - that are rightfully considered classics because of the way they deftly managed pretty dark themes through the perspective of children.

As for their own adventures, the Power Pack are an unappreciated gem in Marvel's storied eighties, because of the way they break from the Marvel formula while operating seamlessly within the larger universe.

See, from the beginning of the Silver Age, Marvel differentiated itself from the Distinguished Competition by focusing like a laser on the teenage market rather than children. That's why Johnny Storm was a hotheaded teenage hearthrob, that's why Peter Parker started out as a normal, socially-awkward teen (just like you!), that's why the 05 X-Men were the "strangest teens of all!"

What Louise Simonson and June Brigman did with the Power Pack was to reinvent the child-centric focus of Golden Age D.C (think Robin and Superboy) and Charlton Comics (think the original Captain Marvel). Unlike those earlier child sidekicks and superkids, Alex, Julie, Jack, and Katie Power were not one-dimensional plucky moppets or precocious tiny adults.

Showing an impressive insight into child psychology, Weezy made them emotionally complex but also unmistakably still-in-development children, who were innocent and curious and boisterous but who also had tempers and got into fights with their siblings, or got scared and cried sometimes, who struggled with the desire for maturity and autonomy and the need for comfort and support from their parents. At the same time, June Brigman managed to do something that most professional comics artists notoriously struggle with: draw kids who looked like real kids, who were allowed to look goofy or awkward or gangly or rolypoly, rather than the idealized forms set down by the Nine Old Men.

And somehow, this alchemy made this book unusually emotionally resonant - although I may be something of an easy mark, because the Power Pack kids happened to be the children of Columbia University professors growing up in NYC's Upper West Side in the early 80s, just like me irl. While wrapped in a candy coating of kid superheroes with cool physics-based powers (Alex can control gravity by touching people or objects, Julie can turn into both waves and particles of light and fly at lightspeed, Jack can alter his body's density to become a miniature juggernaut or a living cloud, and five-year old Katie can turn matter into energy, absorb it, and fire it at the bad guys - the living embodiment of E=MC^2) fighting the evil alien Snarks with the help of a sentient spaceship, the Powers kids had to wrestle with having to hide their superheroics from their parents and the anxiety and guilt that resulted from that, and in their adventures they dealt with heavy topics like child abuse, gun violence, school bullying, mental illness and kidnapping and homelessness, and on and on.

Indeed, in the pages of X-Men, the Power Pack would go into the sewers under Manhattan to fight Sabertooth and the Marauders during the genocidal Morlock Massace, witness Wolverine wrestling with his humanity and his berserker rage in the Canadian wilderness, and fight to save Midtown New York from demonic incursions during Inferno. That's heavy stuff for a bunch of kids ranging from 5 to 12 years old, but somehow the Power Pack managed to make it through the most harrowing of adventures without losing their heroic spirit.

Okay!!

So, I've heard REALLY good thing about The Haunting of Adeline and the sequel The Hunting of Adeline. I haven't read it, but its supposed to be good. Lots of TWs though.

I read The Never King series, and it was bad, but in a fun way. Peter Pan retelling, and while the MC was WAY too horny, and I wish there was more plot, a few of the characters were completely *chefs kiss*. Again, I'll preface that I like the idea of this series more than what was actually written, but I thought the characters were fun and unique, but I wanted more more character interactions as opposed to overly horny MC. But, the author is making a spin off book with another fun character who I'm VERY curious about so it should be fun. It's also a Reverse Harem series. Again, I'll say it again, this series has a fun concept, but not executed the best.

So far I'm REALLY enjoying The Bonds that Tie, series. It's a complete 6 book series, that's a Reverse Harem and it's fun. Some of it is a bit cheesy, but that's kind of expected with most romance novels. Basically some of the population has super powers, called gifts. And in the "gifted community" people with have Bonds (basically fated mates). There's a central bond and they'll have multiple people bonded to them. And the MC has five Bonds, and omg. All of them have great distinct personalities, and it's a bit of a slow burn, I don't think any sexy times happen until the second book, but the spice is TOP TIER and it's a really fun universe. I'm kind of addicted to this one, tbh, and the idea is fun enough that writing fanfiction in this world could be really cool.

All of these books are free on kindle unlimited, so it's worth checking out.

Returning home after bailing out without so much as a goodbye. Leaves a lot to deal with when I show up again. Only I’m not alone and this time I’ve got bigger issues than how I left.                   I left to find a normal life, but when you’re raised on chaos and crime, normal isn’t a fit. Now I need the club, and Peter. The two I ran out on without so much as a backwards glance.                 Facing Peter again isn’t something I’d ever be ready for, not after everything that went down the night I left. But I can’t outrun him and I, and without him I’m pretty sure I’m good as dead. Was coming home a good idea when it puts those I love at risk of someone killing them to get their hands on me?

“Hold on!” TC barks over the muttering and commotion of the table. Everyone settles down slightly. “The guy, the dealer.” He snaps his fingers, something on the tip of his tongue.

“He had a brother!” Howie snaps his fingers pointing at his father.

“That’s right.” Tony nods, quickly. “His brother is a patched member of The Sinners.”

“You almost a fucked a Sinner?” Quill cuts his eyes up me, with distaste.

“Look at her like that again, I’ll fuck you up.” Howie growls out.

“Darlin’,” Peter swallows.

“I didn’t know, Peter.” I shift to look at him, still on his lap. “It’s not like you guys gave me a book of who to avoid and what to look out for.” He drops his eyes looking away. “I knew who was, who by the patches they wore. From cops to rival clubs.” I admit.

“I,” Luke leans forward, worry on his face “what, what happened to Karen?” He glances around.

Chin quivering softly, Peter cups my face, his thumbs brushing away stray tears.

“She, she died.” Howie’s head hangs.

“We found her in the woods, that night.” TC explains.

“Fuck.” Luke looks to me and Peter.

“We planned to put the dealer down. We wanted to know who helped him, but he never gave it up.” Frank speaks up, watching me. “Do you think it’s one of the guys that was there, that night?” He wonders.

“Frankie, I don’t know. I mean, that was, I still haven’t processed that night.” I admit, shaking my head. “But my gut tells me it’s somehow connected. I can’t be sure it’s just a stalker. Or if it’s revenge to the club.” Shrugging.

“Sweetheart,” Tony leans closer to me “we need to discuss all this, go have a drink. Check in with mom.” He nods encouraging me. I nod slowly getting up from Peter’s lap. Glancing back at him, he blinks slowly nodding for me to go.

Quill blows out a breathe. “Do we look past this shit?”

“She didn’t fuck him!” Peter snaps, turning in his chair.

“Easy, boy.” His father puts a hand out to keep him in his seat.

“We heard her. We know.” TC nods.

Buck sighs, lighting up a smoke. He slides the pack to Peter who follows suit.

“She’s not wrong, she never knew more than badges, she never knew who was, who outside of what they wore. We protected her so much, she never saw trouble from the club.” He takes a long pull off his smoke. “Leaving town, she had no idea might have been waiting for her. She has no idea what normal people danger looks like.”

Steve’s brow drops in. “You think we did wrong by protecting her?”

“Did we raise her wrong?” His dad wonders.

“Fuck no.” Peter shakes his head.

“Hell no.” Howie jumps in.

Peter flicks his hand out, shaking his head. “She’s perfect, raised right.” He nods. “She’s trouble but I mean look what she was born into, the brothers she has.” He shrugs. “The guy she picked. She’s polite,”

“Too a point.” Howie smirks.

“She’s got manners, and a nasty right hook. She’s rough edged and bloody knuckled, but fuck look at that girl.” He thrust his hand out again. “She’d slit her own throat before putting any of us at risk. She’s smart, dangerously smart. She’d do time for this club, like it’s never fucked her over before.” Shaking his head, his free hand rumbles his hair some more.

It’s quiet for a moment.

“So clearly Parker is still rock hard for Baby Barnes.” TC grins, the table laughs.

“Oh fuck off you fucks.” He rolls his eyes.

Steve drags his hand through his hair. “If it’s retaliation, why? Why her?”

“Peter.” Howie speaks up.

“What?” Peter looks to his brother.

“No, you. You killed the dealer that night. Protecting her. The patched brother, he wants payback. Who says he’s not after Y/N like you have, always have had her. She bailed and he saw an opening to her.” Howie shrugs.

“He wants Y/N in revenge for what was done to his brother.” TC nods slowly.

“But why our girl?” Tony shakes his head. “She had nothing to do with Karen and the drugs.”

“No offense, but Parker doesn’t even spare another look to another woman. He’s in so deep with Y/N, he has to be blacked out to be with one, single, one other woman. She’s his greatest weakness.” Frank shrugs a massive shoulder.

“Hell even then,” he shakes his head.

“What?” Buck watches him.

Peter sighs, taking a pull off his smoke.

“Why do you think he had to be blacked out to touch Hardy?” Howie looks over at her brothers.

Both exchange a look, brows dipping down.

“Hardy is so desperate for attention, she doesn’t bat an eye at being called by a different name.” He puts his smoke out.

“That’s,” Steve tips his head, unsure.

“Weird?” Sam lifts a brow.

“Awkward.” Matt snorts.

“Fucked up?” Rand glances around.

“Parker and Barnes.” Frank snorts.

“Shit ain’t that the truth.” Tony laughs.

“Shit all our lives.” Clint shakes his head.

“I’ve been protecting her all our lives. I’ve killed for her, wouldn’t think twice about doing it again.” He admits. “It makes sense to me.”

“She still wears your ring, the bond between the two of you is, wild.” TC shakes his head.

“Sometimes I think its deeper than my marriage.” Buck smirks.

He pats his hands on the table, pushing back.

“Speaking of, I need to speak to her about that right.” He gets up, heading for the door.

“Possessive Parker.” TC snorts.

“Fuck could he be more in love with her?” Luke laughs.

“You didn’t see it when we were growing up.” Howie laughs.

“She’s just as bad as him, don’t let her fool you.” Sam shakes his head.

Steve and Buck nod, slow and heavy. Howie blinks like he’s traumatized, TC shakes his head smirking.

Born at Berkswell Grange, on November 3, 1933, Peter Jeremy William Huggins (known later as Jeremy Brett), was the son of Lieutenant Colonel Henry William Huggins, DSO, MC, DL (1890–1965), and Elizabeth Edith Cadbury Butler (of the confectionery dynasty).

Best remembered for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in the series of films made by Granada Television between 1984 and 1994, Jeremy was educated at Eton College, where he excelled at singing, and was a member of the College choir.

Thereafter, Jeremy was trained by Elsie Fogerty at the Central School of Speech and Drama (then based at the Royal Albert Hall in London), graduating in 1954; though Jeremy's father demanded he change his name for the sake of family honour, so he took his stage-name from the label of his first suit: Brett & Co.

Jeremy died at his home in Clapham, London, on September 12, 1995. His ashes were given to his family.

He is a rapist! In both the anime and the games, he sexually harasses Yui. I can't remember if it was more explicit in the games, but there was a cutaway scene in the church Yui grew up in where he forces himself on her. Like the other vampire brothers, he enjoys causing her pain and suffering, and he particularly likes playing mind games with her along with his usual shit. Canonically, Yui is just the last girl in a very, very long line of "sacrificial brides" who the brothers all ended up killing in one way or another. Laito may look and act like a teenager, but he's an immortal vampire and he knows what he's doing.

This man repeatedly assaults the protagonist (Yui) because he wants to "taint" her. At first he only strips her and touches her only laughing when she says no because "well what a perverted woman, why aren't you being honest with yourself" and it's implied that he rapes her. There's a scene where Yui contemplate suicide (keep in mind she's religious and try to keep her faith even while abused so it's a big deal) because she can't take it anymore, and then Laito shows up in her bath and makes her harm herself. He humiliates her in public. He's just horrible. His excuse is that his mother abused him and he convinced himself he liked it and he loved her. At the end of his route Yui is totally broken in my opinion, convinced she is tainted now and losing her faith in god. Granted he isn't the worst of his brothers but this man is definitely undatable. While he softens in later games, this man is horrible.

Oh I could go ON AND ON but here’s a list: He’s a stalker, he showed up late to a date HE REQUESTED, he killed either your landlord, roommate, or coworker (depending on route) and stuck them in a freezer, lied to the police about it, followed by a car ride either consisting of traumadumping about his family (valid tbh) or him talking about how much he wants to fuck your brains out, then you finding a bloody knife in his glove compartment, asking about it, and him smashing your head into the window to shut you up while he takes you to his house. He is The Worse Datable, as well as The Only Datable because well…he killed the others…and kidnapped you….

Many violence, Yandere behavior, cut your leg off in a semi-canon series of illustrations, smashed your head into the passenger side window of his creepy van, chloroformed you in your own house, brought you flowers that were probably tainted with his own blood, given context from another route. Fright Night. FUCKING. Fright Night. This is the vampire series for me. While you hoes were waiting for Rob Pattinson to peak after Twilight, I had this. Your Boyfriend, nor John Doe, nor even Sunny Day Jack wasn’t my introduction to erotic horror – this was. It may not have been named such in genre. But to me, it defined the very essence of it. Blood, sex, suspense, even comedy. You want it, it has it.

The premise itself is pretty simple. A high schooler named Charlie Brewster spies on his new neighbor, Jerry Dandridge, as he’s hooking up with a prostitute. Through the window he witnesses Jerry bite the woman and have his live-in assistant take out the trash the next day. Being a paranormal enthusiast and avid watcher of the monster show, Fright Night, he is led to believe that Jerry is a vampire. He then enlists the help of the tv shows’ host, Peter Vincent, after Jerry sets his sights on his girlfriend, Amy.

There are 4 film installments in the franchise.

Well, maybe you should be patient and LISTEN because I’m going to rock your shit okay? First off, we’re following the 2009 installment because while the ‘85 one is great, I personally find the former more of an entertaining watch.

We already have Vampire Jack, right? Put him in the role of Jerry Dandridge, but as Joseph/Jacktor as his “human” form. He totally fits ‘09 Jerry imo.

One of my MCs, Cloudy, is the Brewster of this story. Cloudy doesn’t have all that much interest in the supernatural like the original lead, but she’s repressed and curious, with a drive for solving mysteries so I believe that she would spy on someone if she hyped herself up enough. 

Oh, even better – because I’m a ShaunXCloudy shipper – Shaun is her boyfriend in this. He’s the one with the paranormal obsession, and is even a bit bummed to find out that Cloudy has an in-the-flesh vampire as her next door neighbor!

I think maybe Ian would be the “Evil” Ed of this universe? He is very shrimpy and paranoid like him, at least in the version of the 2009 installment. He’s also very vulnerable like him, so I think that Jo would use that to his advantage before turning him into a vampire lackey.
