cal and astarion do NOT get along. it started with astarion having a very dismissive attitude about cal where cal got the feeling that astarion was mocking him / dismissive of his abilities / telling him along the lines to "run along now, little boy" and cal absolutely hates these things so it already soured his opinion if astarion. and then astarion tried to bite him in the night, and cal reeaaaallly didnt like that astarion is lucky that he wasnt killed/sent away. but the funniest part of all this for me is when they were dealing with the flesh book; astarion wasnt there when they found it, but he was there when they acquired the stone to open it. and he wants it sooo bad, but cal wanted it real bad too, hes a sorceror he wants get better at magic / understanding it / have more magic/power at his disposal. so he refuses to give astarion the book and reads it for himself. he acquires the ability to cast speak with dead once/long rest as a ritual and, smug, he gives astarion the amulet of lost voices as a consolation prize since he doesnt need a mere trinket to speak with the dead any longer

Gator Tillman x fem!reader
18+ MINOR DNI
dec: after a fight with his step-mother Gator comes home late, scaring you. His bruises tell you of the day he had and all he wants is to feel you.
cw: Swearing, abandonment, mental / physical abuse (Roy to Gator), domestic abuse (Roy to Karen), bruises, mention of death, implication of anxiety, murder, toxic religion themes, gator calls his step-mom a cunt, crying, fingering, daddy kink, dd/lg themes if you squint, Gator calls himself her God (what's the name for that?), unprotected penetrative sex, cream pie, promises. (let me know if I missed anything)
wc: 3.7k
a/n: I need Gator Tillman like I need to fucking breathe. This man is WOW. I just want to pet him and tell him he is, in fact, a winner and then suck him off. Anyway, I hope y'all like this heheh
...
Gator Tillman didn’t have a lot of good things in his life.
Between his mother leaving, his father being as asshole and everything in between, Gator was a little fucked up and very morally gray. Doing his daddy's dirty work in the hopes Roy will finally be proud of him.
Now, there was one good thing (or person) in his life, one human who brought out the best in him. One person who saw him for the person he was deep inside. The one who saw him as a winner.
You.
You were everything Gator could ever dream of, his perfect girl.
“Gator? Baby have you seen my sunglasses?” You pull some clothes out of the hamper, double (triple) checking that they weren’t in there. “Do you have them? Are they in your cruiser?!”
You hear Gators heavy footsteps before he leans against the doorframe, arms crossed, “have ya checked on top of ya head?” You can hear the smugness in his voice and instantly you want to punch him.
You were an angel and subsequently the sweetest girl. Shit, you make Gator catch and release the spiders you find in the house because you ‘want someone to grant you the same kindness in life’. Whatever that means. But of course he does it, because the last thing he wants is to make you cry.
Well, that’s not true. He loves making you cry while your wrapped around his cock, fucking you so deep and hard that you can’t form a complete thought. Only then does he enjoy the tears streaming down your face.
But at the same time, you had a wicked attitude. One he liked to fuck outta you at every opportunity. And when you look up at him he knows it’s coming.
“Do they look like they’re on my fuckin’ head, Gator? Jesus Christ.” But he doesn't fail to notice you subtly check in the mirror to make sure they aren’t actually on your head. They aren’t, for the record.
Gator is not like his daddy. Does he have his fathers attitude? Absolutely. But he has never raised his hand to you outside of the bedroom, much to his fathers dislike. Claiming he’s watched his father beat on his step-mother and even though he hates her – only because she gave birth to his twin sisters, giving his father two more chances to fuck their futures up – he doesn’t think it’s right.
He balls his fists, nails digging into the center of his hand. He has too much shit to do today and, frankly, doesn’t have time for this shit. “Watch ya mouth bunny. Lucky my dad aint home to hear you take Christs name in vain.”
Gator is right. His daddy already doesn't like you, doesn’t think you’re Godly enough. He also seems to think you’re an idiot simply because Gator does everything for you, even down to tying your shoes. It’s something Gator likes doing, taking care of you as it helps ease his mind.
But at the same time Roy wonders how his son could catch and keep a girl like you. It’s emotional whiplash most of the time. Of course, Gator takes the brunt of his daddy's issues when it comes to you, never letting his daddy so much as look wrong in your direction.
You sigh, running your hands down your pink skirt, “look, can you please help me find them? You know my eyes don’t do well with the sun bouncing off the snow.”
His eyes soften, loving when you need his help, “I’m willin’ to bet they’re in the cruiser on the floor boards.”
Your face heats as you remember exactly why they’d be on the floor of the cruiser, your escapades from your little meeting at the police station last night. There was always that preliminary fuck before going back to Roys (cause God forbid Gator ever come stay at your place. His daddy needs him nice and close.) considering you don’t know how to keep your moans quiet. So, he tires you out, not so much that you can’t drive back to his place, but just enough to where you’re silent during round two and three and four.
The cold nips at your bare legs, winter just as brutal as every other year in this godforsaken state. You swear it never gets easier, winter, and the older you get the more you think about moving south. You think Gator would like the warmer weather, probably find the warmth soothing.
“Ah ha! Got ‘em!” Gator hands them to you with a huge smile on his face. He looks almost boy-like. It’s rare he has a genuine smile, especially when his daddy is around.
“Gator,” his step-mothers voice rings out from the porch, making you both jump. He doesn’t turn around, doesn’t give her the satisfaction of seeing his frustration. “Stop yellin’ cause your sisters are sleepin’!”
“Karen, they’re at the other end of this fuckin house and your scratchy ass voice is louder than me.”
You can see her huff, “I should call your father!”
He sighs, turning on his heel, “I don’t think that’ll be a good idea. Dad’s… a little busy today.” Gator knows exactly what his daddy is busy with, not that he’d ever tell you. Terrified that he would somehow put you in danger.
You know that there was shit his daddy made him do. Things that forced him to come home with black eyes, bloody lips and bruises on his knuckles and body. It hurt your heart every time he came home like that, telling you it was nothing while he winces as he takes off his clothes.
Karen seethes from the porch and you see her look from Gator to you and back. Gator, who notices everything, sees it and steps in front of you, pushing you behind him. “Don’t look at her like that, Karen.”
That seems to annoy her more, “she better not be here tonight. You hear me? Don’t need your sisters hearin the stuff you two get up to at night.”
“Not any worse than dads hands hittin’ your face while they sit at the kitchen table.” You cringe at his statement, seeing Roy hit Karen more times than you can count. “You don’t run this house. Or tell me what to do.” He spits on the ground and turns away, waiting till he hears the door slam to speak.
“I fuckin hate her. She’s sucha little bitch.”
You wrap your arms around his middle, breathing him in. “Can stay at mine tonight if you want. Don’t wanna get you in trouble,” you murmur into his shirt. “O-or we can spend a night apart. I know we haven’t done that inna while but just till this blows over an’ we know she didn’t say nothin’ to your father.”
You know you're rambling, but all you want is to make Gators life comfortable and safe. You know there is a small chance that Karen will call Roy, tell him what happened, maybe even lie (she’s done that before) and say you upset her. If that happens, Gator will get it good, possibly another broken arm or dislocated jaw. That’s the last thing you want. You can feel you chest ache, eyes burning at the idea of Roy hurtin’ him.
Gator pulls your face back from his chest, making you look up at him, “don’t you be worryin’ bout me now. Roy ain’t gonna do shit and I don’t sleep when you aren’t curled up next to me,” he kisses your forehead. “I’ll put some feelers out to see if that little bitch called him. Gotta meeting at 3 with him.”
You nod, your hand coming up to fix his jacket. In reality, you just need something to distract from the burning behind your eyes.
“Hey? I’m serious. I’ll be fine, okay?” He lets you go to reach into his pocket, pulling out some cash and handing it to you, “why don’t you go get your nails done or something, yeah?”
You know refusing to take the money wont go well, so you take it, putting it in the pocket of your jacket. “Thank you, daddy,” you whisper out, knowing you aren’t really supposed to say that outside of Gators locked bedroom door.
He lets it slide, the day has been stressful enough for you. “That’s my good bunny. Now, run along and I’ll meet you here at six okay?”
You tilt your head, “no station tonight?”
“Nah… Jerry is working and he’s got a starin’ problem when it comes to ya. Don’t feel like scoopin’ eyeballs out. Too messy.”
You shudder but kiss him goodbye before getting in your car. You have a very bad feeling his 3pm meeting isn’t going to go how he expects.
…
You were right.
You knew you were right the second you pulled up to his house at six on the dot and he wasn’t home. You reach for your phone, looking to see if maybe you’d missed a text, phone call, shit even an email from your boyfriend.
Nothing.
Even when you try to call him, you're met with a voicemail. You can feel the bile rise in the back of your throat, fear making your skin itch. Was this it? Was this the time Roy sends him out there to do his dirty work and he doesn’t make it home?
He could be anywhere right now. Not only that, if he was dead, no one would do shit for him. No funeral, no service, nothing. His dad would go on and wipe his hands clean of his “loser” son, probably more than happy that the ties of his first wife are gone for good.
Oh God, what if he was dying, the cold freezing the blood onto his skin, frostbite settling in. He could be so scared, praying to the God he doesn’t believe in that you come find him. His clothes are probably wet too, sticking to him thanks to the sn-
A knock on your window makes you jump, a yelp falling from your lips. You look over, seeing the blue of his jacket in your peripheral and the sight makes you gasp. You’re quick to shut off the car, jumping out and getting a closer look at him.
He looks… awful. His right eye is nearly swollen shut, dry blood sticking to his split brow. There is a bruise on the other side of his face and under his left eyes, clearly he got hit in the nose.
“Baby…” this time you can't stop the tears from falling. “Baby what happened?”
He lets out a long, deep sigh, his hands resting on your cheeks. “Fuckin’ cunt called dad. Said I needed a lesson in respect. S’how I got the bruise on my left eye.” He wipes the tear that falls from your eye, his touch soft and kind, “sent me to do some shit across state lines. Guy beat the fuck outta me. He ain’t alive no more though.”
You sniffle, “is it just your face?”
He shakes his head but doesn’t say more. He knows you’ll see the rest once he gets you inside. Well … “we-I can’t let you sleep here tonight, Gator.”
He shakes his head, “it’s fine. Dad said so himself. Come on.”
And so he drags you inside, Karen looking like the cat that caught the canary as she watches you help Gator walk. You make a mental note to never forget this, never forget how she treats her step-son.
You push open Gators bedroom door, making sure to shut it silently and lock it before settling Gator on the bed. “Let’s get ya into some comfy clothes, yeah?”
You crouch down in front of him, making quick work of untying his boots.
“Baby, I can do this. I’m the one who's supposed to help you.”
That only makes more tears burn your eyes. You hated that he never let anyone help him, hated that he always had to be strong, couldn’t ever cry, nothing. You hated Roy for making him like this and you hated his mother for leaving and not saving her only son from a life of pain.
“Stop. Just-just let me help you, Gator please.”  You pull at the laces to loosen them and make it easier to slide off his boot, your vision blurry from the tears in your eyes.
His boot comes off easy and you make sure you keep your hold on it so it doesn’t make any noise on the floor. Same with the second one.
You stand, unclipping his thigh holster and setting it on the nightstand where he likes it. Incase of emergencies. Next is his belt, coming off with ease. He stops you when you get to his pants, making you look up at him. He hates the silver shining along your waterline.
“I love you, little bunny.” He says it so quietly that you almost miss it.
“I love you too.” Your voice cracks as you say.
You work on his pants, popping open the buttons with ease. Next you pull his shirt out of his pants and pull it over his head. By the time his shirt hits the floor, you’ve gotten a full look at his bare torso. A bruise is forming along his ribs, it’s really red and slightly turning purple.
“Jeez baby,” your hands gently touch his skin and he hisses a little. “S-sorry.”
He says nothing as he helps you pull off his pants, leaving him in just his boxers.
“Stay here,” you tell him as you collect his dirty clothes and go into his attached bathroom. You sigh as you grab a face cloth, turning the water on so it heats up. It, of course, takes forever for the water to warm. Nothing like shit water heating thanks to the frigid winter. But once it does you wet the cloth and grab the first aid kit and go back to him.
You’ve done this before, cleaned him up, you’ve even stitched him up. You’d like to thank the internet for telling you how to do that and you’ve gotten good over the last two years.
“S’is gonna hurt. Luckily it looks like you don’t need stitches. Just don’t move while I work okay?”
He nods, “yes, baby. Ya don’t have to do this. I know you don’t like blood.” This was true, you didn’t like blood at all, barely even being able to handle papercuts. But for some reason, when it comes to him, you can manage to push it aside. Cuts can get infected and when they’re on his face it means it could go to the brain faster.
You carefully dab the wet rag around his split eyebrow, gently clearing off the blood and making sure that you don’t resplit the cut open. “I think it split from the swellin’ but I don’t think it needs stitches.”
He nods slightly, “good. I was hoping it’d close on its own.”
You put some wound cleaner on it before you bandage it. He might have a scar there unless he leaves it alone. But knowing Gator, it’ll open again. You clean up around his face and causing a hiss to leave his lips once you touch his cheek and eye. You apologize, applying some cream that makes bruises heal faster to his face and ribs.
“That’s everything.” You force a small smile at him, tossing the wet cloth into the hamper and putting the first aid kit away. You get undressed, needing skin to skin contact. Then, you climb into bed, snuggling up to him, resting your head on the safe side of his chest.
The silence stretches, Gators arm around your shoulders, his thumb moving softly.
“I thought you were dead in the snow,” the words tumble out of you before you can stop them.
He thumb stills for a heartbeat before resuming, “but m’not.”
“I’m sorry this is the life you were forced into. It is not fair.”
He kisses your head, breathing you in for a moment, “it’s not your fault, bunny. You didn’t do any of this. Shoulda kept my mouth shut when it came to Karen. Just… smile an’ wave.”
You shake your head, kissing his chest, “not how it’s supposed to be.”
Gator rolls over you, forcing you on your back. He bites back a pained groan. “My sweet bunny, listen to me. I am here. I am safe. S’gonna take a lot more to kill me.” He leans down, capturing your lips in a sweet kiss.
You let your hands slide into his hair, deepening the kiss. Honestly, you just need to feel him. He knows it and if he’s being honest, he needs to feel you too. He’ll never say it out loud, but as he laid in the snow, doing his best to get the fucker he was sent to kill off of him, he was scared.
Scared he would die and you’d spend the rest of you life wondering. He knew no one would fill you in and he knew his daddy wouldn’t have a service for him. You’d be alone, wondering what happened to him, praying to the god you don’t believe in that he’d come home again. So, he fought like hell and now, he really needs you. Needs to be inside you.
You pull back, breaking the kiss, “Gator, we can’t.”
“We can. Please baby.” Gator doesn’t beg, he didn’t need to when it came to you. Always more than willing to do what he says and give him what he wants. His begging makes you give in.
His hands push your underwear aside, feeling how ready you already are for him. Always ready, always wanting and only for him.
You pull him in for a kiss while his fingers find your clit with ease, swallowing your moans. He always knows exactly how you like it, fingers moving in swift circles and just the right amount of pressure.
“So fucking pretty when you’re at my mercy,” he pushes two fingers inside you, the stretch making your brain go fuzzy. “Looked so fucking pretty in your little skirt and frilly socks. My little angel.”
The way Gator is cooing at you, his fingers crooked up to touch the one spot that drives you nuts and you can feel yourself slipping into that headspace you both love. You’re trying so hard to be logical, knowing he’s hurt and can hurt himself further.
“Thank you, daddy. Bought it because I thought you’d like it.” Your voice is getting small, breathy.
He grins, kissing down your neck, “I love it. Love everything you wear. Look so pretty in your pastels.” His thumb finds your clit, a soft moan falling from your lips. It’s embarrasing how quickly you are to coming around his fingers.
“P-please. Gator please.”
He smirks, “use your words, sweet girl. Tell me what you want.”
You can feel your body heat up from both the coil inside you winding tighter and the embarrassment of having to say what you want. “I-I need to cum. So bad.”
The second the words are in the air, Gator pulls his hands away, leaving your orgasm to fade away. “NO! No, no, no, no please!”
He sucks a mark into your neck, his tongue licking over the spot to sooth it.
“Need ya to cum on my cock, baby.”
Before your brain can catch up, he’s sliding inside you. The stretch is something you haven't gotten used to in the last two years. It feels like he's splitting you in half, his cock filling you completely.
“OH! Oh my god.” You're already panting, squeezing him so hard he’s fighting to not bust prematurely.
Gator drops to his forearms and pumps his hips, getting right in your face. He’s so close you can smell the fruity scent from the vape he was no doubt huffing on before coming to see you.
“S’right baby, I am your God and I love when ya pray to me.”
You can’t help the way your cunt clenches, a moan falling from your lips that is just slightly too loud for either of your comforts. At the moment, you don’t care. You know Roy already got his fill of kicking Gatos' ass. He’s not going to worry about it tonight.
“Daddy, please. I’m so close.”
His hips are snapping hard, cock hitting your cervix with every thrust. He feels like he’s inside your throat and you can’t tell if his grunts are from pain, pleasure, or both.
“Not yet. Almost there. D-don’t cum yet.”
Your nails sink into his biceps, hips starting to stutter.
“Please! Fuck! Oh god…”
He smirks, eyes meeting yours, “yeah? I know how bad ya need it. How bad ya need me to fill this pretty, little cunt up. Breed an own ya f’ever? Hm?” His eyes are black and he looks absolutely feral. Primal.
His hand snakes down the front of your body, finding your clit with ease. You gasp, thighs starting to shake. You knew you weren’t going to last but you needed his permission. You craved his praise and being in his good graces. You’d let him do anything to you, that’s how much you trust him.
“Yes! Yes! Whatever you want. Anything.” You don’t even know what you’re saying at this point, too cock drunk to think of anything besides him and what he’s doing to you.
He laughs, seeing your eyes glazed over and tears of pleasure lining your eyes, “cum for me bunny. Do it.”
It’s all you need to fall into bliss.
His hand covers your mouth knowing how loud you’re about to be. His face drops into your neck as he cums with you, both of your moans muffled by each other's bodies. His cum fills you, leaking out as he brings you both down.
His hand slowly leaves your mouth, head lifting to look at you.
“I love you. I fuckin’ love you so fuckin’ much.” He leaves little kisses all over your face, trying to bring you back to him. “You hear me? M’never leavin’ you.”
You take a shuddering inhale, trying to form a coherent thought, “P-promise?”
You hold your pinky up to him, hands shaking while adrenalin continues to run through your veins. He giggles, hooking his pinky with yours, “promise. I’ll always come home to you. I will always fall asleep next to you.”
He looks down, flipping your hand over and checking out your nails, “I can’t wait for these pretty, red claws to be wrapped around my cock.”
Your chest lightens as you both laugh together.

Bensen had long discovered at a young age that he had inherited a rare trait that was passed down his family line on his father's side of the family. It was the ability to transform objects or things into other objects or things. He experimented with it in the days of his youth. When his father found out he had it, he warned him not to use it on living things. He respected his father and his words all the way until he had graduated college. He had a high paying job that dis more than kept the bills paid up. But it wasn't satisfying enough. He wanted something that he could use his inherited ability. So he decided that he would do a part-time gig to make extra money on the side. He posted an advertisement with a fake name of Jack the handler. If there was anyone that needed to be handled or gone, call him. He even brought a separate phone just for his side hustle.
Bensen honestly didn't expect anyone to call, but someone actually called the number in the advertisement. A young woman had complained about her abusive boyfriend, who was both verbally and physically abusive with her. She tried reporting him, but he had connections on the police force. He would only be in jail one day and back into her life again. She really wanted him gone forever from her life. Bensen agreed to handle her abusive boyfriend problem at a cost, which she was willing to pay. She gave him the details of his whereabouts.
The next day, Bensen arrived in a back alley area behind a local restaurant. Just on cue, a young muscular guy about 6'1" tall was stepped out to take his break. He had never transformed a living thing before, so he was excited to do it for the first time. "Is your name Jesse?" He asked. He wanted to make sure he had the right target.
"Yeah, and who are you?" Jesse asked, curious that a stranger would ask for him in a back alley completely out of the ordinary.
"My client asks that you be removed from her life. All the abuse she had to endure the past year has to stop." Bensen spoke, getting ready to take his first human victim as he got closer to him.
Jesse knew exactly who his client was. "That bitch sent you, didn't she? Well, she will regret it when I get home." He spoke, seeing a smile of excitement on the stranger's face.
"You are mistaken. You won't be going home or back to work." Bensen paused as he thought about what he should make the guy become. The guy was a asshole to his girlfriend, may as well become something an ass sits on. "In fact, you are coming home with me." He added.
Jesse didn't know what to make of the stranger, but he definitely wasn't going home with a guy for some gay crap. "Get out of here before I beat your ass to a point your mom won't recognize you." He saw the threat was not working. He saw the stranger's eyes glow for a couple of seconds. Suddenly, he found himself completely immobilized with clothes on top of him. He didn't know exactly what happened, but even his body was different. It was flat and hollowed out.
Bensen fished out a pair of thong underwear from the pile of clothes on the ground. "Wow, it really did work. I can't wait to get home and wear you. You look comfortable." He stuff them in his front pants pocket and left the area before anyone else showed up. But he was too late. Two other employees were taking their break at the same time as well. He didn't anticipate this situation.
Jesse was mortified when he saw daylight again. The stranger was holding him in his hands. After hearing the words 'wear you', he knew exactly what happened. He was somehow transformed into an article of clothing. From the feel of his body, he hated his new form because he had the sinking feeling that he was underwear. He saw himself stuffed in the guy's pocket like property. He mentally cursed at the guy, but seeing that the guy didn't hear a single word.
Willie and Lesner walk out to see a pile of clothes on the ground and a stranger standing next to them. Both looked at the clothes on the ground and happened to see Jesse's name tag on top of them. Being not sure what was going on, Willie was about to question the stranger.
Bensen needed to flee the scene, but didn't want to leave behind witness. He thought of a pair of socks for the two guys in front of him and a small thin nameless rag for Jesse's clothes and shoes.
Willie saw the stranger's eyes glowing for two seconds, and everything changed in an instant. He found himself laying on the cold ground. He couldn't move his body. He tried screaming out for help, but found he had no voice. He heard large foot steps and saw the stranger picking him up off the ground. The stranger was now giant size. He then felt his body was empty on the inside, yet soft cotton on the outside.
Lesner panicked mentally when he realized he was no longer human. He wanted to call out for help as the stranger housted him in the air in his hand. He didn't like what was being said. It was like something out of a nightmare, yet while being awake.
"Awesome, new underwear and a pair of white socks. I see one of you is Willie, and the other is Lesner. Sorry about turning you into socks, but I can't leave behind witnesses. But at least I won't forget your names. I believe you two will make my feet really comfortable." Bensen spoke as he stuffed the socks in his other pocket and ran from the area before anyone else showed up. On the way home, he ran into a former bully from school. He couldn't resist the urge. He turned him into a shirt, grabbed him up, and came home.
Back at him, Bensen got undressed. He wanted so much to feel what it's like wearing a person as clothing.
Jesse saw one leg enter him and then the other. He curse so much it was driving him crazy as he was pulled upwards. His face impacted with the guy's dick and where his penis would have been being cramed up the guy's ass. He was in no way gay, but this was insane. He hated being worn by a guy. This was a nightmare beyondy anything he could have imagined.
Lesner felt a foot enter him. The fact that a human foot controlled all his motion sickended him. He was just a simple bystander, he didn't deserve to an object owned by another guy or even worn on the guy's body.
Willie on the other hand was in bliss. He had fantasy of what it would be like to be a sock. He even dreamt it before. It was his favorite dream he ever had. Now it was a complete reality. He didn't want it to end. In fact, he hoped the guy never turned him back to normal. He had already accepted the guy as his master.
Bensen loved how it felt to wear people as clothing. The surge of authority he had over his new clothes felt so good. He called his client's phone. "This is Jack the handler. Your abusive boyfriend won't be bothering you anymore. In fact, you will never see him again. I put him in a place where I am sure it's a living hell for him. I expect full payment." He spoke over the phone. Within in minutes, he got a text alert of a bank deposit. He was pleased. He made money using his gift while also gaining new clothes that are supposedly are so durable they last for a very long time. He would have to test that theory.

Ok no because hear me out-
When Emet Selch/Solus first appears near the end of Stormblood his conversations with Varis make me think a little y'know. Idk if I hallucinated this, but I think he says something along the lines of "you were always so emotional" to Varis. Or like, he insinuates that Varis has always had little control over his emotions.
(I haven't gotten to shadowbringers yet plz do not spoil too much. also apologies in advanced if I am wrong abt Solus/Emet Selch)
Solus was undoubtedly a horrible father and grandfather- and Varis is too- but Varis was sensitive as a child. Like he's genuinely just a guy- according to the wiki, like he denounced a massacre and disbanded the legion responsible. Also, his dad died and that kind of left Solus to be his paternal figure which was definitely super fucked up. Given how much Solus belittles him even in death and when he's the emperor- he was no better in life.
And idk where I saw this, but I think he actually genuinely loved his late wife? Y'know, Zenos' mom who died in childbirth or something? And listen, he's only twenty years older than Zenos- he was a young father. Can you fucking imagine that? Being raised by your asshole grand daddy, and then your loving wife fucking dies and leaves you with an entire new human being at like twenty.
My point is that Varis isn't a monster like the rest of the imperial family. No I'm not defending him, but he somehow just turned out pretty normal compared to the other two memebers of the royal family we know of. He has sympathy, he has morals, he has (or at least, used to have) a line he will not cross. Yeah he turned out a militaristic tyrant, but he was a normal fucking guy at one point and we definitely see that it peeks through a bit. Like I kinda remember he at least tries to be diplomatic when he meets with the alliance and the scions, and he still seems hurt by Solus' words. Idk man I just- he's not completely gone. He has some humanity left in him and he isn't as unapologetic as Zenos or Solus/Emet Selch.
And listen, I'm not defending his parenting style either- but I do understand why he just had no desire to be present in Zenos' life. After having Solus as his parental figure for most of his life, I think he has a fucked up idea of parenthood.
See, I think he loves Zenos somewhere deep down but yk generational trauma and maybe he's even a little envious of what Zenos is. Zenos is this paragon of mortal strength; a prodigy. Varis was no doubt great when he was younger as well, but Zenos is just so strong, unfeeling, and self assured- things Varis was expected to be when he was younger. He wasn't any of that though because we know (or I know because I hallucinated it) that he was emotional when he was younger. Also, Varis was just kinda neglectful towards Zenos, no? He never outright abused him or gave Zenos reason (for most of his life at least) to believe that Varis hated him. Idc if it's not canon, to me, I don't think he hates Zenos. Hates what Zenos had become maybe, but he seemed genuinely distraught or at least shocked when Elidibus was in Zenos' body. Like he took offense to it so you cannot tell me he doesn't at least care a bit.
Idk man. I don't even think I was able to get my point across that well?? I have lotsa thoughts bc I'm writing a little thing. Once again, not defending Varis, but he's very interesting to me in this regard because generational trauma is a song and dance any ethnic child is familiar with so I just had to share my two cents.

COMPACFLT, ma’am, you’ve absolutely wrecked me with: “My father—my father was kind”. I can’t even tell you exactly why, but that just struck right in the chest with the force of a sledgehammer, gosh. If it’s alright with you, could you please share your headcanons about Ice and Mav’s fathers? I know I’m, like, quoting your own work back to you but I can’t help it: “Well, dead pilot dads, that’s one thing we have in common.” —But do they? Or is one dead pilot dad vastly different from the other?
ice’s dad (Thomas kazansky sr.): asshole army major OH-6 and UH-1 pilot who got shot down over Vietnam in 1967. son of far-eastern-european immigrants. anti-commie. wanted ice to ALSO be a chopper pilot in the army, so ice went navy instead. daredevil dipshit who died & left ice’s mom alone with two young kids & whose death encouraged ice away from breaking the rules or being unsafe (esp. in the air). not necessarily a great person or a great father but died when ice was 8 so also not a huge influence on his life (i know val kilmer has said ice’s father was a big influence… I’ve written elsewhere about why i personally shifted ice’s narrative away from daddy issues and more towards Navy authority in general issues, in light of ice’s character and rank in tgm. GOD i need a master post sorry, but i think you can find it if you search “edts notes” on my blog and scroll for a while). ice’s LACK of a father -> no man to model himself on -> overcompensating & not getting it exactly right (doesn’t know how to talk to other men) -> maverick immediately clocks him as gay -> the plot of my fic.
Maverick’s dad (peter “duke” mitchell sr.): a genuinely awesome person. funny & kind, warm & loving, a truly good father & a great fighter pilot. big american patriot. Comes from a long long line of us navy personnel—maverick has the navy family name & the pedigree ice, as a second generation american, does not. Im still not sure who raised maverick—it’s one of those things I don’t have a strong opinion on, so it could go either way (i posited in the airplane one-shot that he was raised by relatives, aunt & uncle, but I know it’s a popular hc here that he was a foster kid—all equally plausible to me) but I do think he grew up exceedingly bitter, hearing about how great his dad was and how there was just no way! his dad could’ve failed the Navy the way he supposedly did, because he was just such a good person… there’s a real bitterness about original maverick that TGM maverick kind of lost. His bitterness only shows during the “it’s not the plane it’s the pilot” “EXACTLY” exchange (incidentally the scene that gave me the idea that Bradley thinks mav pulled his papers bc he’s openly gay…it’s the pilot not the plane, ouch). but i still think maverick is like deeply deeply bitter about how the navy handled his fathers death, which is what the excerpt i posted on wednesday is actually about—he confesses to ice how disillusioned he has been with the navy as an institution since he found out the truth about his father’s heroism. I know i just just just said that Maverick’s patriotic conservatism is his reason for existence in the meta “why we make mil propaganda movies” sense, and i stand by that, but i think on a human character level there probably has to be a little bit of deep-seated resentment towards the Navy for smearing his father’s good name and his own good name in the process. My maverick grew up a good Christian kid, called himself peter jr. after his good guy father, who never broke ANY rules until he was radicalized by not getting into the academy (“punish the son for the sins of his father”) and basically lost his mind for 30+ years. “If my family name automatically makes me a sinner in the navy’s eyes, then I might as well sin anyway.”

Hello people! 👋 I'm so hella sorry it takes so long just to write another part but i am a very lazy person. Sorry 😫. I don't have any inspiration by now. To atone it i give you my headcanons about each ghost boy family so that my au will make some sense. Here you go. 🙇‍♀️
Ghost boys family headcanons
Griffin
I guess it's mentioned in the film that his mom is single. I don't know what happened to his father but i like to think that his dad died when he was little. His mom loves him more than anything in the world.🥰Mamma's boy🥰 I also like to think he is an only child. But his mom got him a parrot on his 6th birthday named Gary so he won't feel alone or bored. I just like to imagine him teaching Gary new words or having conversations with him like he is human being. He flexes with him in front of his grandparents a lot who they visit once in a month. He is their little angel and will sometimes poke fun at him but they love him deeply.🥰
Robin
Well it's obviously mentioned in movie that his dad died in a the war. When there is that scene him talking with Finney he says something like.
,,My uncle takes us to cinema. We see everything."
Cause he uses plural ,,We" i think he has at least one sibling. I like to think that he has a 3-6 years younger twin siblings: brother and sister. And he is so goddamn protectove of them. Just lay a finger on them and he will strangle you with his bandana. His mom is hardworking and strong-minded woman. And what does she says when she hears that Robin gets into fights? Well, she knows he is a wise kid so it's not she doesn't care, she just knows that he won't go too far. And he does, he will wash the dishes after whole family for a week. Robin apprecites she trusts him so much and loves her truly. 🥰 His uncle is like a is his favourite adult figure on the whole world and they get along very well. His uncle often tells him that he looks a lot like his father and Robin is very happy everytime he hears it. He also visits his grandparents a lot and he is their ,,little sunshine" as they call him. When Robin tries to argue that he is not small anymore it's no use because he ,,will always be their little boy."
Vance
I lowkey headcanon that Vance was raised by his dad only and his dad is single. Vance didn't even met his mom. His dad slept with her once and 9 months later she just rang at his door gave him baby Vance like: ,, This is yours." And dissapeared. His dad was left standing in door and trying to understand what just happened. He wasn't sure about raising a kid at first but decided to take care of his son as best as he can. After a while really grew fond of him and decided to give him a good life. Basicaly 🥰Dad's boy🥰. As Vance grew older, he noticed that he looks a lot like his mom. He had her blonde curly hair and slightly feminine face. Eyes we're the only thing he got after his dad. They both have bright blue eyes. They also have a dog named Brandon (maybe i will change his name) and Vance enjoys his company more than company most of the human beings (obviously). They also go to visit Vance's grandparents from dad's side a lot and they get along very well. Vance really enjoys grandma's cooking and his grandma is very happy when she sees that he really likes. Thanks to that, everyone also noticed that Vance has super fast metabolism. And his grandpa takes him and Brandon to forest a lot so kid can ,,get some fresh air once in a while". And what does his family say when he gets into fights? Well, they got used to it. They know that Vance isn't a bad kid, just not understood. And that's all that matters. And his dad knows that kids are assholes se he is just: ,,Again?" when he must come to pick Vance from police station but he never complains. His Grandma always sounds worried but let's him do whatever he wants. And his grandpa is proud of him that he can stand up for himself.
Billy
It's obvious that Billy has a dog which name we don't know yet but let's call him...i don't know...let's just call him Bobby until his name is confirmed or something ( i may change it later if you'd like to. Give me tips in comment secrion.) He has a parents who he respects a lot. He also has a younger sister and likes to poke fun at her a lot 🤣 but they get along very well and like to take Bob for a walk together. Billy also tried to convince his sister to deliver newspapers with him but his sis was too lazy to get up early which gave Billy another opportunity to poke fun at her. He also visits his grandparents once in a while and his grandma's cookies are just 🕊️seventh heaven🕊️ for him.
Bruce
I lowkey headcanon that his parents are TOO MUCH overprotective. They tell him to try hard at school and have a good grades very often and he knows that they mean it in a good way and want what's best for him, but he can't help but find it pretty annoying. As we heard in a movie, he has a younger sister named Amy and he is her number one hero brother ever.🥰 He helps her with homework if she doesn't understands something and tried to teach her baseball more than once, but she is not really into it. But she always comes to look at his matches abd give him emotional support. He also loves his grandparents a lot and visits them very often. His grandma always gives him a big kiss and he huges like a good grandson he is.🥰
Kay that's it i guess. Hope you enjoyed it. I will try finish next chapter of my au soon but we'll see.🙃 I might end up writing about things from multiple different fandoms cause this works like my therapy. Hope you guys like Overwatch or Naruto cause i might end up writing about them. See you👋

Excerpts From Kasher In The Rye: The True Tale of a White Boy from Oakland Who Became a Drug Addict, Criminal, Mental Patient, and Then Turned 16
“As you go back through the creaky secret rooms of your memory, you find places damaged by time and neglect.”
“t gave me a private thrill to know that I wasn’t the only piece of damaged machinery out there.”
“My mom told me stories of how scared she was, of how he threw her around, but to be honest, I never believed her. It wasn’t until years later, when I started throwing her around myself, that I thought there might be something to the story”
“I found a wall calendar in a pile of his stuff as my family and I did that sick divvying of the loot that happens when someone dies”
“My mother is a third-generation divorcée”
“addicted to being right” (What makes people need it?)
“To this day I cannot think of psychoanalysis without picturing turtlenecks.”
“What bullshit. I wasn’t too angry. I should have killed him for saying so.”
“This was my chance to ruin everything. I loved doing that.”
“I was angry, of course I was. I also worshiped him a bit, of course I did.”
“I slowly started sharpening my tongue on the whetstone of Oakland Public Schools. If I couldn’t win all the fights, I’d certainly win all the rounds of verbal sparring. People fucked with me so I learned how to fuck right back. I started to hone the questionable skill set of the class clown. In short, I became an asshole.”
“ I transitioned smoothly between angry out-of-control kid into frightened out-of-control kid”
“I could tell questions were out of the question.”
“People called me the Gandhi of the playground. Wait, no they didn’t, they called me white bitch”
“The world looked like my underdeveloped oyster.”
“The victim of frequent, severe, man-sized beatings at the hands of his father, eventually his personality fractured into so many pieces that he just picked them up and shaped them into whatever fit the situation best”
“I fucking remember that—believe me, you would, too.”
“ They tell you that you feel loopy and disoriented, but no one tells you that it crawls through your skin, filling in every place of deficit, every gaping crack where your humanity didn’t fuse.”
“You know how parties are supposed to be fun? Now imagine the opposite of that.”
“My father took himself so seriously because no one else did.”
“St. Ides, the patron saint of cirrhosis”
“Our circle of normalcy included four of the seven layers of Hell”
“DJ always became somewhat more articulate when he was finding a way to call me fat. The Lakota Sioux called me “Swims with T-Shirt”.
“DJ, perhaps too dumb to be afraid, broke the silence, turning to me and saying, “Fats, you at the end of the line. You’ll slow us down.” Fats complied”
“I firmly believe that everyone should get punched in the face at least once in their life. It builds character. Getting your ass kicked teaches you that your body isn’t a glass menagerie figurine that could shatter at any trauma. You gotta get lumped up sometimes. Then heal and know you are all right.”
“He laughed like the universe.”
Urban psychedelia
“Her eyebrow twitched and I could feel her set her clinical phasers to kill mode and gear up”
“She grinned and I wanted to rip her face off with my mind.”
“a first-class sociopath.” First-class. I guess if you’re going to be evil, best to do it in style.”
“the topical anesthetic I’d been dabbing at my life was starting to wear off.”
“There was something I found so phenomenally satisfying about the process of cracking a therapist’s professional armor.”
“I’d knock “shave and a haircut,” and he’d answer back, “two bits.” I guess we did that just to let each other know that someone else was there who understood. One night I knocked and no one answered. Nate was gone. He’d been released. That night, I cried myself to sleep, hyperventilating, terrified, and I really didn’t know why.”
“My grandfather, Dick the Dick, had been an English professor at a local community college. Lecturing on such topics as “Spousal Abuse: How to Do It!”
“The Seneca Center for the Severely Emotionally Disturbed Youngster”
“I’ll tell you, there is nothing quite so distracting to a lecture on the Niña, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria as the low, deep thudding of a severely emotionally disturbed youngster’s head repeatedly slamming against an inadequately padded cell door.”
“Fuck it is the great battle cry of the drug addict.”
“I stole like an animal. Oh wait, animals don’t steal”
“My mom starts screaming at me, “You’re high! What are you on?!? What are you on?!?” Which is like the worst thing ever to scream at a dude who’s freaking out because he’s high.”
“The moment you sink to a new low is the same moment that your conscience becomes compromised to the point that it won’t rebel against the indignity you are putting it through.”
“Life was the wound. Life seared and stung. The world stung. I was born a mess of paper cuts, the world was a pool of lemon juice I’d been shot into. So I found drugs, I found a painkiller that made me able to ignore the wound. I could walk upright. I could go forward. I could navigate the acidic reality. Of course, if you are wounded, and you find a medicine that makes you numb, you don’t correct for the wound.”
“There came a point where I was all wound. I couldn’t see where I stopped and where the wound began”
“The great irony of the addict is that the thing he takes, which is the only thing that has ever made life feel good, stops working long before he considers the possibility of life without it. That first day I’d gotten high, I’d promised myself a life where I’d never stop. I never wanted to not feel that way again. The fact that I hadn’t felt that good in years hardly registered with me.”
“I was going to save him. I never considered he wouldn’t let me. Or that it wasn’t my business to.”

Chapter-10: The fight and the kiss.
*one week later*
You were standing out of a restaurant with Richard by your side.
You suggested maybe you both could go on a date to take your mind off your mom’s death.
“The date was awesome.” you said.
“Can I kiss you?”
“Absolutely yes.”
He leaned down to kiss your lips.
The kiss was slow and passionate. You both pulled away from the kiss and rested your foreheads on each other.
“I love you.” Richard accidentally confessed. You were shocked.
“Did you just…Said i love you”
“No. I think you heard me wrong.”
“I'm pretty sure I heard you right.”
“y/n?” a voice said from behind you.
You turned to see who it was. It was your ex.
“Justin?”
“So I see you have moved on.”
“Of course I have. It's been nearly 2 years.” you gripped Richard's hand tightly.
“I heard you kept the baby.”
“Yes I did. Do you have a problem with that?” you asked bitterly
“No. I just want to see the baby.”
“Absolutely not.”
“But…”
“Stop, don't say anything about him. You fucking kicked me out of the house as soon as i told you I was pregnant. You weren't there during my pregnancy, when I gave birth, when Elliott first crawled, when he first stood. You don't have the right to see him.”
“I think I have the right because I'm his father.”
“Dont fucking say that.” you were about to punch him in the face but Richard held you back.
“Richard, let me go.”
“Calm down and promise you wouldn’t beat him and let you go.”
“Take me away from here.”
"Maybe you cheated on me when you were with me and maybe that's not my kid, you're such a whore."
Richard let go of you. He punched Justin before you had the chance to do it.
"Watch your words. Be careful with the next word that comes out of your mouth."
Richard grabbed your hands.
"Let's go."
You obeyed him and walked to the car with him. You have never seen him this angry.
"Are you okay?" He asked you.
"Yes. You?"
"I'm okay."
"We definitely are going to break the internet, you know. The fight and the kiss. I'm pretty sure someone would've taken a photo. Everything seems overwhelming. I don't know what to do."
"Hey it's going to be okay. We will figure everything out together."

Trauma does really bond
Umbrella academy x teen!reader
Summary: You were number eight, The Healer. With the power to heal anything you touch. Or at least you would be, if the world knew about you.
A/n: I know I said new fics on Friday but I couldn’t wait lol
Tumblr media
Everybody knows the story of the Umbrella Academy. Seven children, adopted by an eccentric billionaire, forced to become superheros and eventually fizzled out of the limelight.
But know one knows about you.
You were the eighth child Reginald Hargreeves adopted. You were Y/n Hargreeves, age 17. Everyone knows that the seven siblings were all born at the same time, and day. So how are you 17?
Well basically the same thing, but when your mother spontaneously gave birth to you, she handed you over to Reginald within a heartbeat and as far as he knows, you were the only spontaneous birth on y/bd. So he took you in. Now he wasn’t completely sire that you would get powers. For all he knew, your mother just didn’t want you. But all that changed when you were just 6 years old.
You had stumbled upon a mouse that was squirming in a mouse trap while exploring the attic. You felt so bad for the poor thing that you had set it free. You cradled it in your hands, as you teared up at the sight of it twitching when suddenly you felt it. It was like magic, you felt each bone and nerve that was broken heal until the mouse was once again moving, full of life. You ran out the attic, mouse in hand. Running all the way to your fathers office, barging in despite his protests.
“Y/n Hargreeves, how many times must I tell you--” “ I’m sorry father, but look!” you cut him off, thrusting the healed mouse towards him.
“Number eight. You interrupted my studies to show me vermin?”
“No father! I healed him! He was in the mouse trap and I healed him!” You exclaim. That caught Reginalds attention.
“You healed it?” He asks eyeing the mouse, “ How?”
“I dunno” you shrug, “ I just felt bad and touched him”
Reginald hums, standing from his desk and walks over to you.
“Come with me.” He says, leading you out the study with a hand on your back.
From then on he put you through brutal training. Nicking you with knives I see if you could heal yourself, bringing you hurt animals to heal, injured people. Then it escalated. He brought in people who were on the brink of death, comatose. He forced you to heal them, despite it taking all your energy. There were multiple times where you ended up collapsing, sobbing and exhausted from healing too many people in one day. He forced you to get up, and heal some more claiming,
“You have been given a gift. It would be selfish of you to hoard it just because you get a little tired”
Not to mention the brutal physical training. Because you had no siblings, he made training robots. They, unlike humans, did not hold back. Forcing you to fight as if you were actually trying to survive. And if you lost, you weren’t able to heal yourself.
Now all this training would have made some sense if you were going out into the world and saving lives. You weren’t. Reginald didn’t allow it. You were to stay on the premises, 24/7, 365 days a year. He claimed
“The world is cruel Number Eight. You are not yet ready to face the harshness that is reality. It is best to keep you here until you are.”
So alone you were. Well not totally alone, you did have Grace an Pogo. And you had Luther but all he did was missions and avoid you so he didn’t really count. But Grace and Pogo? They were your best friends. Grace was practically your mother. She sang to you, brushed your hair, tucked you in, told you about your “siblings”, and taught you how to bake and cook as well as other things. She like you, wasn’t allowed to leave, so you felt like she understood you. Pogo, taught you everything you know. He helped you learn seven languages, he sat and was forced to listen to you learn the piano, violin, and guitar, he was the one who snuck you Vanyas book and answered any questions that Grace couldn’t. And he was the one who sat with you in the attic as you both looked out at a city that didn’t know you existed.
You secretly longed for the day you were able to leave. If not training or doing school work, you could be found gazing out the attic window, or outside in the courtyard staring up at the sky. Despite being in a huge mansion, you felt trapped. You have read almost every book in the house, including Luthers research that he sent from the moon, Fives old theories, and Allison’s diary. You started meditating, yoga, and even picking up little hobbies like scrapbooking or candles making. You learned different ways to play chess, ballroom dancing ( your father insisted), how to read music, and so many other things. You were so smart and yet so naive. You, theoretically knew the cruel realities of the world, having read them in books and such. But you never experienced them. You had no human contact other than your father (and Luther till he was sent to the moon). You knew battlefield medic techniques but not simple everyday things. Hell, not even your so called siblings knew that you existed except Luther and he was sworn to secrecy. Not like he payed attention to you anyway. You weren’t even allowed to watch movies or listen to modern music. Just whatever records Luther had, and the Walkman you found up in the attic. But secretly, at night when you crept into the attic, you can see into the apartment across from you. Their large tv playing movies and you were able to watch. Playing classics like Dirty Dancing and Grease, action, and scary movies that scarred you for life. But it was your escape. You couldn’t hear the words but you made them up. A little world all to yourself, your little secret. You yearned for that moment when you could leave. Leave behind strict schedules and brutal training. Leave behind empty halls and loneliness. But you knew it wasn’t coming soon.
Not over your fathers dead body.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your father is dead.
You didn’t realize it at first, having been extremely exhausted for some reason. You went to bed early saying good night to everyone and promptly passing out. But you know that your father was fine. Healthy even, as you could sense it with your powers. So when you woke up and reached out, sensing your family as you always did, you knew something was wrong. You couldn’t feel your father. Not how you used to. It felt like...like the dead bodies he used to force you to heal.
You leapt out of bed and dashed to his room, heart racing as you passed a humming Grace. You burst into the room, seeing him collapsed against the bed, limp and eyes closed.
“Nononono father?! Father can you hear me?!” You say rushing to his side. You feel for a pulse but find nothing, noticing his cold skin. You start CPR, like he trained you to do.
“ Father?! Father please!” You start to cry, tears running down your face as you race to save him. But deep down you knew...you couldn’t heal a dead body.
“ MOM” you scream desperately, starting to use your powers, “ POGO”
You start to get light head, your basically pouring your energy into this dead body. Your powers kickstart the healing process, accelerating it 10 times it’s usual rate allowing for quick healing. But if the bodies dead...it can’t heal itself and you basically just heal superficial wounds but not bring them back.
“Father...” you start to slur, you’re running out of energy and he still hasn’t woken up. “Father you have to wake up...don’t leave me...”
Your world starts spinning as you fight to stay awake. Desperate to save the man you consider as your father. But you collapse. The world fading in and out as you see two silhouettes hover over you.
“ oh y/n...” a voice softly says. You feel someone touch your head and you succumb to the darkness. Feeling helpless as you realize one thing.
Reginald Hargreeves is dead.
That night, around the country seven siblings find out that their father has died. And make plans to come home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You were unconscious for the whole day.
You woke up letting yesterday’s events wash over you. You cry. Not for the man, cause let’s face it he’s an asshole, but because of what he represented. He was part of your family. Your world that only consisted of three.
And you couldn’t save him.
And let’s face it, he was your father. He kind of raised you for seventeen years. You had to care about him.
After calming down, you reach out. You try to feel for Pogo or Grace, but you can sense the presence of two people you’ve never met. So you force yourself out of bed, and creep down the hallway. Your room right closer to Reginalds as it was the only room left. So you snuck into the main room, seeing your mother staring into space.
“Momma?” You whisper, catching Graces attention.
“ Oh Y/n dear, you woke up.” Grace says with a smile standing and stroking your face, “ Darling, your in your night clothes, you know the rules.”
Your eyes water as you throw yourself in her arms. Feeling like a child.
“ I..I tried momma..I really did”
You feel her arms wrap around you, “ Do you want breakfast, you haven’t eaten in 12 hours and 15 minutes.”
You were confused. Why was she acting like nothing has happened?
“Momma I-“ “Mom?”
A male voice cuts you off. You freeze, not knowing who the voice belongs to. His presence unfamiliar.
“Diego, welcome home are you hungry?” Grace says, “I was just going to make breakfast for Y/n” she squeezed you gently before letting you go to turn to Diego.
You hide behind her, like a child. Peaking over her shoulder to get a glimpse at the man. He was average height, Hispanic most likely, wearing all black with a harness and some knives. He had short hair and a scar on the side of his face. He looked at you then Grace in disbelief or shock. You can feel that he was healthy, just a bit sore.
“Um mom who’s that?” He asks gesturing to you.
“Oh I suppose you haven’t met yet. Diego, this is..well why don’t you introduce yourself.” She says to you. Your eyes widen and shake your head.
“Come on dear, just like we practiced. Go on.” Grace nudges you in front of her. Setting a comforting hand on your back.
“ hello...my names y/n Hargreeves. It’s lovely to meet you.” You say softly, and then you give a shy smile.
“Hargreeves?” Diego asks, shocked, “ I don’t understand...how?”
“ Y/n is just like you and your siblings.” Pogo chimes in, startling the three of you.
“ She came to us 17 years ago, just as the six of you left. Your father kept her secret as he did many things. She has remarkable abilities just as you and your siblings. ”
Diego looks at you, sizing you up and taking you in. “Why didn’t we know about this?” He asks Pogo.
“ Your father had his reasons. He believed she wasn’t ready to see the outside world. She has been here her whole life.”
Diego scoffs, “ What? It wasn’t enough that he ruin our lives, he had to start again?”
He looks at you, “ Welcome to the family, kid.”
Then he walks off. You look at Grace and Pogo
“ Did..did I do something wrong?” You ask.
“ Oh no, Diego is just...on edge. You did great.” Grace says cupping your cheek.
“ I am glad that you are alright Y/n. It’s good to see you up and about.” Pogo says with a comforting smile.
“ thank you..” you say, “ there’s another person here..a woman.”
“Yes, well I think it is time you meet your sister. Come along.” Pogo says, leading you to the kitchen.
Oh boy...

A Letter From Mom by StilesIsMySpiritAnimal | 32.9K | Explicit
After waking up at the age of 11 without any memories of his past Stiles spends eight years with his father in the tiny town of Shelter Cove, California. After his father's death he receives a notice from a storage facility in some town called Beacon Hills. Stiles is confused and thinks the manager made a mistake until he finds a letter that should have been for his 18th birthday that his dad never gave him. It's from his mother, who he has no memory of. Weirdly enough, her letter mentions Beacon Hills and some woman named Talia, who he's supposed to trust. Confused and angry at his father, Stiles sets out for Beacon Hills anxious and determined to find out what his dad had been hiding from him all these years.

Being at different colleges, miles apart, meant that they’d likely be too busy for each other. An unstoppable force tearing them apart. But he could hold on for now.
“Okay,” Stiles shakily answered, clearing his throat before continuing, “I’ll go with you after the game.”
The corners of Derek’s lips started to turn up into a small but hopeful smile.
It was different from the smile Derek did for football. It was always more personal—genuine—when he looked at Stiles.
Blood is (Not) Thicker Than Water by Anxiety_Baker02 | 78K
Stiles hasn’t seen his extended family in years- mostly because they’re assholes. His cousins bully him relentlessly, and his aunts and uncles aren’t much better. So when he hears that they’re coming out for a family reunion, he’s understandably upset. He knows the next week is going to be hell, and it’s made worse when a new pack shows up, vowing revenge on their pack.
I Would Fake Forever With You by Halvetica | 53.9K
Derek Hale is the black sheep of the family, always has been. That's why he moved to Seattle. Now he's got a job he loves, a nice apartment with an incredibly hot and endearing neighbor, Stiles Stilinski. One night when Derek's overly large and demanding family shows up early for their yearly visit, they run into Stiles, who is accidentally introduced as Derek's boyfriend.
Something Rotten by HappyJuicyfruit | 78.7K | Mature
Dammit, this was another reason he hated walking around a big city at night, he always managed to catch glimpses of the dark underbelly. He turned around, planning on going the long way home, but he froze when he heard the voice-
“Let me take you home,” a man said.
“That will cost you more. I get the money before we leave, and I take another hit at your place before we do anything.” Another man slurred.
That voice. It sounded like- Derek’s feet were moving him towards the men before he could think.
“Stiles?”
Life’s for the living, I won’t be giving up. by DropsOfAddiction | 8.5K | Explicit
Stiles is not prepared for what he sees. Derek ‘Roberto’ (Ok, he made that up) Hale is standing in the middle of his room, on a patchwork rug, wearing just a pair of very tight, black boxers and a Sheriff’s Deputy shirt. It’s hanging wide open, showing off his glorious chest, dark hair trailing down his toned stomach. There are bandages covering his wounds and Stiles is hit with an insane urge to kiss his boo boos better.
Stiles coins the term instant-injury-boner.
He’s never going to be able to wash and iron his Dad’s uniform ever again, from this moment on.
That Frothing Knob by Pride_Of_Six | 14.5K | Explicit
Stiles was wiping down the spout of a machine with a cloth, and Derek almost popped a stiffy right there in the café. It was completely embarrassing that after so many years of control over both his human and wolf side Derek would find himself so… enamoured by this random. Regardless, the wolf wants what the wolf wants, and Derek found himself trying his darnedest to get some sort of a rise out of Stiles, “You sure know how to handle that frothing knob.”
Needless to say, Derek got to see that beautiful blush colouring the barista’s face once again.

SO MERLOPIAN KAI PART 2 ELECTRIC BOOGALOO
So, with Kalmaar, he ofc immediately goes to his parents about his feeling, slightly placing his revenge on hold. They are...dubious about it, but Maya raises the point of how there has never been a human/merlopian hybrid before, and from what Ray has told them about having two EM parents it’s possible for Kai to have some water abilities himself, which could be what gave Kalmaar his feeling. So, they agree to look into it.
Moving on..... Uh. Kai doesn’t have a fun time in S6, as briefly as he’s there. You see, Nahdakahn knows exactly what buttons to press and is able to get Kai into a panicked state where he, on the verge of a panic attack and mental breakdown, just says “I wish that I could just be normal! I wish I could just go home! I wish I could be with dad and mom and father and Kal and Bentho and Nya!!!”
The “normal” comment comes from how they weren’t able to completely hide Kai’s heritage since yeah, there were other people on the boat who saw him. That and he also tried a lot less to keep it hidden. And because some humans are assholes, he has to deal with that.
So ofc, Nahdakahn interprets it in the worst ways and as two wishes. Kai is now a full human yes….but was also sent to where the fish fam currently were……which just so happened to be at the bottom of the ocean.
So yeah, double trauma for both groups. Kai got to experience what drowning felt like, and his fam was essentially forced to watch him die since there was nothing they could do. They were too far under to take him to the surface and too far from the palace to take him there.
But dw, it gets even worse.
You see, the whole reason Nahdakahn is being this malicious about Kai’s wishes is because he learned that Kai was the reason the Preeminent was destroyed, thereby destroying Djinjago.
Nahdakahn is then able to do a “oh? Is this not what you wanted? I thought you wished to be normal.” Which ofc sounds really bad since it’s in front of his family. “But, I understand. You grow tired of the stares in the street, how they whisper behind you back about what you are. Not human, not merlopian, not normal. Just a freak masquerading as one of them.”
This ofc supremely pisses off the fam. Like, weapons drawn ready to commit murder.
But then Nahdakahn stop them with a “ah ah ah, I wouldn’t do that if I were you. After all, I am the only way your son has a chance at living. So go ahead. Make a wish.”
Trimaar ends up being the one to do it, and is smart enough to know this uh will twist it in anyway he can so says. “I wish for Kai to be sent safely to the surface without harm done upon him.”
Blah blah blah, your wish is yours to keep, Trimaar realizing “wait there’s a lot that could be interpreted” but too late BAM now Kai’s kinda stuck on the Misfortune’s Keep.
And he....generally has a pretty bad time. Think Jay but this time it’s personal.
However, Kai’s appearance had Trimaar get the Merlopian army and start heading to the surface. The remaining ninja have a brief moment of “are you kidding me two enemies at once” before learning that this is Kai’s lost family and they’re here to help.
So now the ninja have a whole ass fish army to help them, plus a very protective, very angry fish family.
But for the rest of canon, the only difference is that when they’re leaving Tiger Widow Island, Nya gets snatched along with Jay(who was taken because he hadn’t used his wish yet) and they aren’t stuck on the island, and then later that Kai gets sucked into the sword when the ninja launch their rescue mission.
But yeah, it gets all Un-Happened by Jay’s wish(which at seeing Kai physically hurt and being emotionally torn apart at his baby sister dying, wished that none of this ever happened and that Nahdakahn was never found), only like canon Nya and Jay still remember what happens.
Nya is now firmly on team Kai Is Alive and tells her parents everything about what happened and the wish Jay made, and more importantly where Kai is.
Unfortunately, they need to take some time and prepare. Trimaar and Maya have been doing their best over the years to open the populace possibly making bonds with the humans, but now it’s finally happening. They can’t just go up there out of no where, since from what Nya has told them 1) most humans don’t even know they exist and 2) in the past few years they have been subject of many attacks, mostly from non-humans, so they need to make sure the humans understand they don’t mean any harm.
So DotD happens, then the beginnings of S7 :)
Right out, Kai never liked the museum curator. Up to that point he’d only ever caught fleeting glimpse of him but something about him Kai just despised. As a result, he also visited the museum as scarcely as possible, and thus didn’t notice a very interesting painting containing a two very strange figures.
When he learns his name was Dr.Saunders.....things don’t go well.
It happened when Kai brought the helmet with his dad’s symbol on it. As much as he disliked the curator, he was the most likely to be able to recognize what kind of helmet it was.
Then in his anger he gets himself captured.
He’s taken to a special cell lined with vengestone and has guards around the clock, and Krux takes extra care to make sure Kai doesn’t know where Ray is.
ofc it’s around this time that the Merlopians arrive and express their wishes for a possible alliance between their two races. Unfortunately they showed up at literally the worst time, and double unfortunately the people in charge of diplomacy decide to bring some of the ninja in as an extra precaution because of the villains have been running around.
So the people who join the meeting are Lloyd and Jay from the ninja(they would’ve brought Kai but he hasn’t returned from his missions yet and isn’t answering their calls) as well as some police officers and from the Merlopians is the whole royal family plus a few guards.
Both Jay and Nya have a silent moment of staring at each other since “I know and I’m not sure you know but I think you know but I don’t want to say anything since you might not”
And just as they’re about to start, The Time Twins attack. Because why the hell not.
They’re actually able to hold them off for a while, but unfortunately there are too many Vermillion. Then Kalmaar whips out his Water Powers which causes him to get kidnapped since they need both Fire and Water masters for the blade.
While they’re recovering, Lloyd then gets a panicked call from Zane saying that he checked the museum footage and Kai has been captured. The gets overheard by the royal family, and then Lloyd asks why they looked so upset at which they learn(sans Jay since wish) that Kai is royalty. The eldest son actually, and thus first in line for the throne, as well as being presumed dead for the past five years.
So basically Krux has kidnapped the King and Queen’s husband, the crown prince, and the second in line prince(if anyone knows a more fancy term for this please let me know)
Maya, Trimaar, Nya and Benthomaar are not happy. Not with the Ninjagian people, no they’re fine, but they’re bout ready to murder Krux, and they don’t even know about Ray yet.
So they offer any help they can.
Zap back to how Kai and Kalmaar are doing.
Kalmaar is….kind feral tbh. Like, he’s biting, clawing, trying to strangle them with his tentacles, and before they got vengestone cuffs on him was trying very hard to drown anyone.
Ofc, this does little to the Vermillion and soon Kalmaar finds himself in the cell right next to Kai’s. He’s overjoyed to see his brother again, albeit upset that this is why.
They both reluctantly come to the conclusion that there isn’t much they can do at the moment, and there are many Vermillion guards right outside their cells, so they decide to start catching up.
And for pretty much the rest of the season canon is pretty much the same, just shuffle around the characters a bit and add a protective Fish Fam.
Though their little trip back in time is quite sight for the Past EMs, especially because of how Kalmaar is using his powers, which leaves Kai mostly stuck in his Fish Form. This time they don’t even bother trying to explain, just give instructions on how to defeat the Vermillion and jumping into the battle.
And I mean just imagine that from the EMs perspective. An enemy you thought you defeated just returned with a giant metal creature and an army of snake things that don’t look like any kind of Serpentine they’d ever seen. Then a shark person and squid person??? show up and not only do they know how to fight the snake things but they also seem to be Elemental Masters???? Despite the fact Ray is very much alive and they didn’t even know there was a Water EM. Then the two not only summon dragons but they also fuse their dragons into an even bigger one with two heads.
And then all of them disappear into the sky without a trace.
W i l d
But yeah, after that it calms down quite a bit. Kai spends the time skip before S8 reconnecting with his family and his dad, and through some tech courtesy of Borg they're able to bring Ray with them :D
And Kai actually goes to meet the Jade Royal Family since y’know. He’s the crown prince. He’s kinda important and legitimately forgot about it. Luckily Kalmaar is able to help coach Kai through it, but is also a bit smug about how he finally has something to teach to his older brother. Kai was actually the one who suggested asking the ninja for help protecting the mask.....but we know how that inevitably ends.
Bentho, Kal and Nya were actually on the ship for this particular adventure, and then Nya and Bentho were dragged along when they got sent to the First Realm. Bentho, despite being the youngest sibling and to the surprise of literally everyone, was actually really good with kids and spent the most time with Little Wu, right behind Cole.
But yeah S9......Nya and Bentho have a really bad time in the First Realm beause of the heat, but at least they don’t get captured. Kai on the other hand....
Yeah at some point he gets accidentally splashed with water and well.....it definitely doesn’t help with the Oni accusations. The Dragon Hunters decide to burn him along with the Wind Dragon, which moves up their Build Our Own Dragon time table.
After they escape Faith is actually pretty chill about the whole fish thing, but she does ask a lot of questions.
And then S10..... kinda the same. They end up dropping off as many people as they can with the Merlopians since the smoke can’t reach them.
I might make a Part 3 for the rest of the seasons, but yeah. this is where we’re at.

WIP Wednesday
Tagged by @biotickaidan. Thank you! Tagging @happychica, @n0rmandysr1, and @miniature-space-hamster, if you are so inclined!
I have so many Sam and Kaidan first kiss AUs at this point, I now actually have one on the scrap pile.
The late night walk under the stars is the first scene I wrote for the orchard trip, and as I was drafting it I did a quick first kiss scribble. As the rest of the chapter took shape, I found a first kiss AU I liked better, but I still have this, so figured I’d share.
~
The leaves crunch under their feet as they walk. A breeze wafts through the trees, sending a whisper through the branches. The air is crisp and cool, but not unpleasant, strong with the scent of spring. No other planet he’s ever been to smells anything like it.
No matter where Kaidan goes, his roots are here. He glances over at Shepard, who comes from the stars, light years from the birthplace of humanity and claims no roots at all.
Shepard wanders off the path towards one of the trees and runs his bare fingers across the bark, deep in thought.
“It was the book,” he says, so quietly Kaidan almost doesn’t hear him.
Kaidan comes to stand beside him. “Green Eggs and Ham.”
“I do not like green eggs and ham,” Shepard recites softly. “I do not like them, Sam-I-Am.” He glances over at Kaidan. “My dad read it to me when I was little. It was my favorite story.”
“You were the main character,” Kaidan says, smile spreading over his lips.
Shepard nods. “The asshole who coerced that poor fucker into shoving his face full of green eggs and ham. My dad used to joke that he named me Sam because I didn’t know how to take no for an answer.” A wistful look crosses his face. “He still called me Sam-I-Am right up until the day the Alliance shipped me off to Ares. It was the last time I saw him.”
“Shepard,” Kaidan says softly.
He taps the branch with his fingers. “He wanted to take me to Earth. Show me where humanity came from. I wasn’t interested. Couldn’t understand why he wanted to look back when everything was out there.” He gestures up at the sky. “So we never went. There was so much he wanted to teach me, and I blew him off because he worked a desk job while my mom flew a starship, and what could I possibly learn from him?”
The bitterness in his voice cuts like a knife. He scrubs the back of his hand across the corner of his eye.
“I always saw him as an anchor. I wanted to be like my mother, not like him. My mother was the hero, the person everyone looked up to and respected. Including me. Took me too long to realize that respect and love were two very different things.”
“She’s your mother. It’s not something you should have had to learn from her.”
He shakes his head. “She’s not my mother. She’s a superior officer. Always has been, and nothing I do will ever change it. It took losing my father to figure that out. I was so stupid.”
“No, you weren’t,” Kaidan insists. “You were a kid.”
Shepard huffs. “I thought so much of her, and so little of him. Until Anderson gave me a copy of his service record after he disappeared. I’d never even thought to look at it before. Do you know what I found?”
Kaidan shakes his head, heart aching.
“He was N1. He and Anderson did ICT together. His proficiency scores were better than Anderson’s. He had an invitation to go back to the Villa for N2.”
“Why didn’t he take it?”
“Because of me,” Shepard says, voice breaking. “He gave up spec ops and requested a posting on Arcturus to raise me. I took that from him.”
“Doesn’t sound to me like you took anything. He chose you.”
And your mother didn’t.
“And look how I repaid him.”
Kaidan takes a step closer. Their biotic fields mingle with a hum. “I’m willing to bet he didn’t see it as a debt.”
“I guess I’ll never know, will I?”
And you’ve spent over ten years trying to repay it anyway, haven’t you? To Shepard, everything comes down to what pieces of himself he can carve off for others. You are more than a transaction.
Shepard turns away to head back towards the path, but Kaidan reaches out and grabs for his hand. Later, he’ll think about how seamlessly their fingers lace, like they’ve done it their whole lives instead of for the first time. But now, there’s no time to think. He pulls Shepard to him, hooks his other hand around Shepard’s neck and kisses him.
It’s easy. Effortless. Just like breathing. Not something he has to think about, control, figure out. His lips on Shepard’s just is, soft and warm and full of hope, like some crucial missing part of him has just snapped into place.
When they part, Shepard blinks, an almost curious look in his eyes. Curious, but not surprised, not dismayed, even though Kaidan’s heart is beating so loud Shepard has to hear it. Kaidan doesn’t let go of his hand and still cups the back of his neck, and Shepard doesn’t pull away.
“I wish you could see yourself the way I see you,” Kaidan murmurs.
Shepard searches his face some more, like he’s looking at Kaidan for the first time, before reaching up with the hand not clasped in Kaidan’s to stroke his cheek, curiosity melting into wonder.
“What do you see?” he asks, voice soft.
The answer falls out of his mouth before his brain has time to think about it. “Infinity.”
Shepard’s thumb strokes his jaw, and then nothing else matters because Shepard kisses him back.

the little that i know, i’ll tell to you
“He’s really cute,” Roger says. “Perfect, like you said.” “I know,” Jake says in a low voice, so that only Roger will hear. “You get one chance, by the way. So you know. One.” Roger raises an eyebrow. “One chance to…?” “If you hurt him somehow, if you fuck this up in any way, if you let him get attached to you and then just leave…” He looks from Mac to straight into Roger’s eyes. “You're out. I won't hesitate.”
In which Roger learns how to be a grandpa, and Jake how to be a son and a dad at the same time. Featuring newborn, two-year-old and seven-year-old Mac. (Also, the backstory for that toy airplane from the season 8 trailer clip.)
excerpt below; read the whole story on ao3
a.k.a happy jake’s first father’s day a.k.a DAD! JAKE! DAD! JAKE!
Jake is seconds away from calling his dad to cancel their visit to the hospital.
He figures that might make him an asshole, but an air of calm has finally draped over their hospital room, and the selfish part of him can't bear the thought of breaking their precious bubble. Mac is resting against Amy's raised legs in the hospital bed, not quite sleeping but not quite awake either, and the new parents are watching his every movement with utter fascination. Jake never knew seeing someone blink, or yawn, or even cry for food, could be so freaking cute. He's been staring at his son for the whole day, and he has yet to grow tired of it.
He always knew their kid would be perfect, but nearing sixteen hours of his existence out in the world, he's starting to realize he had no idea just how perfect. Jake’s mesmerized by this child, feeling certain that his heart is now resting outside his body and in the hands of this perfect person he’s played a tiny part in creating. Mac's wearing the pajamas with grey stars they bought the first day they knew they were having a baby, and it still baffles Jake to think it was him they bought it for all along, even if they didn't know it yet.
“When did you say your parents were coming?” Amy asks, because even though they've had no sleep and she literally pushed a human out of her not even twenty-four hours ago, she's the most together one between the two of them.
“Too soon,” Jake mumbles, holding one of Mac’s little fists in his. “My mom said they were leaving now.”
“Your first family visit, baby.”Amy bends to kiss her son’s forehead. “Bloodwise. The Nine-Nine was first. You ready? Excited?”
Mac only whimpers in response, scrunching his face together and clenching his fists tighter.
“Mm, I feel like he has doubts.”
“Or he’s hungry again. Can you get me the nursing pillow?”
Jake reaches for it at the foot of the bed, helping Amy with it as she carefully places Mac at her chest, opening her grey cardigan and the clasp of the nursing bra.
“You're totally becoming a pro at this,” he tells her as their son starts eating, and Amy smirks, mouthing a thank you as she leans back against the bed with Mac. “But seriously, Ames, are you sure you're okay for a visit? I could still call them, I’m sure they'd get it.”
She gives him a confused look. “Why wouldn't I be?”
“I don't know, because you just gave birth and have barely slept since? If you’d rather meet your in-laws another day, it’s understandable.”
“That's sweet, babe, but I promise I’m fine. And it's their first grandchild.”
“Yeah, but…”
He trails off, unsure of what he's protesting. His mom has talked his ears off about it every time he's talked to her for the last six or so months, and he's received a complete barrage of enthusiastic texts from her since yesterday. Jake is excited for his mother to meet Mac – his hesitation lies with his father.
Mac makes a funny noise, like a hiccup and a swallow at the same time, and Jake feels his heart fill again with the feeling of overpowering love for his son. He's only known him for a day, and already, he's sure he'd go to the ends of the earth for this kid. Nothing will ever get to hurt him.
Then Jake wonders if his dad felt the same about him when he was born, and there's a sharp sting of anxiety at the thought.
“I’m nervous for my dad to meet him,” he confesses to Amy. She nods, like she was expecting him to say it. “I know I said I’d give him a chance, but if he screws up, I seriously might never forgive him. Not with this,” he says, tickling the palm of Mac’s hand. There’s a bruise on it from where the nurses took his bloods earlier, at which Mac had whimpered slightly and Jake had fully teared up. “Not with him.”
“You don’t have to,” says Amy, as if that, too, was obvious. “But I think you should give him that chance. Especially considering they’ll be here in ten minutes, so it’s a little late now.”
“I know,” he sighs. “I will. I love you.”
“I love you, too. So does Mac,” she adds, adjusting him in her arms when he starts to pull away. “Maybe especially if you help him get out that burp right about now.”
“The mission I was put on this earth for.”
It’s with reluctance that Jake even manages to leave the hospital room when his phone beeps to let him know that his mom and dad are waiting in the hospital lobby, because Mac had just fallen asleep on his chest, and his little squeaky protests when he had to move him to Amy’s arms were almost too much.
He spots his parents the moment he's turned the corner to the entrance hall, barely raising a hand in a lazy wave before he's almost toppled by the force of the hug from his mom. She squeezes him tighter than he remembers being hugged since the day he told her he was going to be a grandmother.
“Sheesh, mom.” Jake blushes. “You know I’m the one who's been through the least, right?”
Karen lets out a snivelling chuckle as she lets him go. “I can't help it. I can't believe I’m a grandmother!”
“Well, you better, because you've got a grandson who's very excited to meet you. I think.”
She smiles. “How is he doing? How's Amy?”
“Mac is perfect, Amy's a hero,” he says, near automatically. He notes that Roger is standing a few steps behind Karen, holding a gift bag in one hand and shifting on his feet. Jake wonders when he last saw his dad actually look nervous. It's a rare sight, he thinks.
“Hey, dad,” he mumbles, and Roger nods.
“Congratulations, son.”

Cw: mentions of drugs and mentions of past abuse
Previously On Relic Keel
Remus has started to associate sailing with Sirius Black ever since Sirius told him he watches his boat every morning. He thinks about how tired he is of knowing everything there is to know and wishes to leave the island.
Remus also starts his new job at the Hogwarts History Museum where he meets up with his friend Layla, whose family runs the museum, and whose brother, Lyall, Remus races sailboats against. On his way there, he reflects on the divide between Salazars and Godrics. He remembers Sirius at school, and how he was either celebrated or shunned with seemingly no pattern.
After their first shift at the museum, Layla takes Remus to The Lion for lunch, chastising Remus’ prejudices, and introduces him to Leo. Remus sees Leo’s rainbow bracelet and thinks about how badly he wants a boyfriend. We also learn that Luke is also gay, but that he and Remus have always been just friends.
Logan arrives at The Lion, too, is introduced, and listens in on Remus finding out a new exhibit on madness at the museum—the Lupins are known for going insane, but Remus’ mother mentioned nothing to Remus about this exhibit.
Leo learns that Logan is looking for someone (Finn). Logan reflects on a sleepy feeling that seemed to go away with his escape from the orphanage. Leo offers Logan a job, if he wants, and also tells him about The Voldemort.
The Voldemort is a boat from the eighteenth century that is said to have sank in The Cradle, a U shaped arrangement of islands just off of Hogwarts Southern Coast. Leo’s dad was close to finding it. Leo feels like he should want to find it, too, for his lost father.
Saint and Sirius arrive. Saint and Logan see each other for the first time in almost ten years, since Saint escaped when he was seven. Logan tells him that Finn got him out and Saint finds out that Logan sells Crucio.
Pascal, who owns the Lion with his wife Celeste, is introduced. He’s very close with Saint and Sirius, and he apparently knew Leo’s father before he went missing at sea. Saint learns that Logan is staying with Leo.
James and Remus arrive, looking for Dorcas who Thomas said might be selling Crucio to Luke. They’d like her to stop and are willing to pay. Logan takes advantage of this and, although he doesn’t sell to Luke, cons James out of 200 bucks.
Saint learns that Logan has gotten tangled up with The Carrows, the more dangerous of the two Crucio dealers, the other, safer one being Kasey Winter, in the hopes that they will help him get Finn out. Instead, he’s in their debt for using their Crucio himself.
Logan slips and calls Saint Bash. Saint refuses to help Logan get Finn out.
A/N: I super don’t speak Latin. And neither do my trees.
part v
Dorcas watched as Saint took his book from the floor of the back seat and flipped his sunglasses down.
“How long?” he asked. “And how do I keep getting stuck with this job?”
“Because Sirius is a better surfer than you are,” Dorcas replied. “And you know what, you can take off. Her parents are out of town for the weekend so her dad won’t be coming home or anything.”
Saint paused and raised an eyebrow. “And so I just drove you because…”
“I didn’t feel like walking?”
“Clever gal.”
Dorcas smiled. “I know.”
“Whatever, I need the car anyway.”
“What are you up to? I thought you were working at the Potters.”
“Just Sirius today,” Saint threw his book back into the rear seats. “I’ve got some detective work ahead of me.”
“Does this have anything to do with that little friend of yours that Sirius told me about?”
Saint rolled his eyes. “Of course he told you.”
“You know you two can’t keep secrets from me.”
“Don’t I.”
“See you later, babe,” Dorcas opened her door.
Saint gave her a salut as she headed around towards the dug-out fence.
Marlene had her paints out and her hair up in a bun when she pushed the window up and open for Dorcas.
“Luke’s here,” she said, and rolled her eyes as she turned away.
Dorcas froze in the window frame to see Luke with his feet crossed, laying on Marlene’s bed.
“Okay,” Dorcas said. “Can he leave?”
“Hey,” Luke said. “Cousin privileges.”
“Girlfriend privileges,” Dorcas said, shutting the window behind her. “Plus, can’t you go, like, toss a ball at a net with a stick or something?”
Luke rolled his eyes—not unlike his cousin. “I’m on a rest day. Plus, I’m off the team.”
“And whose fault is that?” Dorcas raised an eyebrow.
“He’s just getting out of the house for a bit,” Marlene said with a pointed look that Dorcas understood as he’s getting away from his mother.
“Plus,” Marlene continued. “He’s a good cover story.”
“I thought your dad wasn’t here.”
Marlene shook her head. “Came home early. Guess his newest gal pal didn’t like golf. He’s over at the club now.”
“What’s his deal, anyway?” Luke asked. He had reached over to the bedside table and put a bowl of what looked like mango slices onto his stomach. “With you two, I mean.”
“I am his little princess,” Marlene said dryly. “Not to be dated.”
“And a Salazar girl who lives in The Hollow?” Dorcas shook her head. “No deal.”
“Right,” Luke said. “Like that’s never happened before.”
Dorcas snorted and sat on the bed, too, stealing a few pieces of fruit. “Like you’re any better than the rest of them, Deveaux.”
“I am,” Luke said. “I don’t hate Salazars.”
“But you hate Hollows.”
Luke grinned. “I don’t hate them, either. They hate me, and what am I gonna do about their jealousy? That’s their issue.”
“God, you’re an asshole,” Dorcas sighed.
“He’s really not though,” Marlene stepped back as she regarded the painting she was working on. Luke’s face looked back out at them from the canvas. “He just likes to make-believe.”
“Could have fooled me and my friends.”
“He’s a great actor,” Marlene agreed, then stuck her tongue out at Luke. “I just happen to have known him before he learned how.”
“All right, fuck you both,” Luke grumbled, and ate another piece of mango.
“Believe me,” Dorcas said. “We’re not jealous of you.”
Luke raised an eyebrow. “You can’t tell me you wish you didn’t have to sell Felix to make a little more money?”
Dorcas narrowed her eyes. “Like you and your money live such a great life.”
Luke looked away, jaw tight.
“Yeah,” Dorcas said. “I’d take Crucio and the friends I have over that any day.” After a moment of hesitation, she looked down and mumbled. “And by the looks of your little habit, so would you.”
“Fuck you, Meadowes,” Luke snarled. “You don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“All right, all right,” Marlene said, tilting her head as she added color to Luke’s cheeks in her painting. “Cool it, kids. Take a chill pill. Knock it down a notch. Luke, why don’t you go get us some pizza or something? Or maybe pick up from Thomas’. I crave his nachos, holy cow. Also, tell him to come hang out later tonight, if he can.”
Luke held Dorcas’ eyes for a moment, then pushed himself up from the bed. “Pepperoni, you?”
“Pineapple and ham, thanks,” Marlene said, and smiled at Dorcas as she patted his back out the door.
“Hi,” Marlene laughed once the door closed behind him. She walked into Dorcas’ arms. She took Dorcas’ face between her hands and peppered kisses to her mouth. “How are you?”
“Worried about basically all of our friends,” Dorcas laughed. “And that one, I guess, too.”
“Tell me about it,” Marlene sighed, laying down on the bed and eating a slice of mango. Dorcas mirrored her position. “No, seriously, if you want to talk about it, I’m all ears. I mean, I’ve got Luke who, one, needs to get out of his house, and two, needs someone to love, like, God, I wish he had a boyfriend. I just want him to get off this island, go to college, and meet the sweetest human in the world, you know?” Marlene sighed again, eyes far away. “He doesn’t act like he deserves that, but…it’s really his family he didn’t deserve. He’s all torn up about his dad, but his dad’s…a schemer. You know? And his mom, don’t even get me started.”
“Maybe he can still meet someone here,” Dorcas replied, and reached out to brush Marlene’s hair away from her face with a smile. “You never know. We didn’t. How long did we spend on this island without knowing each other existed?”
Marlene’s smile faltered in a way that Dorcas was beginning to recognize. It worried her.
“What?” Dorcas asked softly.
Marlene tilted her head. “Hm?”
“You keep doing that,” Dorcas said, tracing a thumb over one corner of Marlene’s mouth. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing’s wrong,” Marlene said. “I was just thinking about Luke. I mean, my parents sucks but at least they’re…”
Dorcas raised an eyebrow. “Not in jail?”
“Yeah, I don’t know where I was going with that,” Marlene laughed. She scooted closer, letting Dorcas hitch her thigh over her hip, Dorcas’ thumb rubbing idly over her soft skin. “Now what are you worrying about, lover?”
“Sirius,” Dorcas began. “I don’t know he just…he’s never seemed…happy? Saint. He’s trying so hard to be happy that I know he’s not. And now there’s Logan which I think stirred up a lot of Saint Clair stuff for him. I mean, Jesus, how do we not know what’s up with that place?”
“Gods are good at not paying attention,” Marlene said solemnly.
“Saint never takes that damn cross off,” Dorcas said. “I mean, wouldn’t you want to let it go?”
“Sorry, who’s Logan? He got out? As in escaped? Like Saint did?”
Dorcas nodded. “I haven’t talked to Saint about it yet. Me and Sirius are gonna tag-team later, make him let it out.”
Marlene looked suspicious. “Good luck.”
“We have our ways,” Dorcas laughed. “And Logan…He deals. I know him a little. Not really.”
Marlene nodded, going quiet at the mention of Crucio as she always did.
“I like what it gives me,” Dorcas said gently. “Freedom, Marls. More than any other job here could. At least any job that I could get. And its from Kasey, who makes it safely. Unlike the Carrows. So—”
“You don’t have to explain,” Marlene said, and pushed herself closer. “I know. Really, I know. I’m proud of you. I just wish there wasn’t as much risk.”
“Like the police do anything about it,” Dorcas sighed, running a hand through Marlene’s hair. “They probably like the revenue it brings for the island.”
“Yeah,” Marlene sighed.
“Well,” Dorcas said. “We probably have at least twenty minutes before Deveaux returns with the pizza…”
Marlene smiled and pushed Dorcas’ hat off, leaning over her on the bed. “Oh? Twenty minutes you say?”
~
Saint parked the Jeep between two trees in an overgrow section of a Salazar road.  He knew where The Carrows lived. It was difficult to miss their house. Saint could practically smell the gold and diamonds. He felt like he smell the Crucio, too, the rubber bands and the plastic bags, and the sickly sweet powder.
There was no one outside. The whole grandiosity looked strangely deserted.
Saint reached into the rear again for the latest book he had borrowed from James. Frankenstein. Not one he hadn’t read before, but a good one none the less.
“Don’t know why you want that one,” James had said when he handed it over. They had both been hot from working in the sun—Saint on the lawn, James on his backhand. “I had to write a book report on that in, like, what, ninth grade? Oof.”
“Beluis amicitiam,” Saint had replied.
“How the fuck do you know Latin?” James had said. “You aren’t even at our school.”
“You gave me a book on Latin.”
James nodded. “Right.”
“Well?” Saint had asked. “You’re at school. What’d I say?”
James squinted one eye shut. “Beast…friends?”
Saint had laughed. “Literally, sure.”
Saint opened the book now, rolling the window down in the stuffy car. The AC was broken.
“Monsters like company,” he said aloud into the small space and settled down to wait.

Lily didn’t expect to find herself painting an old boat with James Potter on a Saturday afternoon, but painting she was. She dipped the fat brush into the blue paint, trying to wipe her hair out of her face without getting blue in it.
“Still doing okay over there, Lils?”
Lily looked up to see James’ head pop out over the upside-down bow.
“All good,” Lily nodded. “You?”
James smiled. “Yeah. Thanks for helping me out.”
“Don’t worry about it,” Lily said. “Just working on my tan.”
James’ head appeared again, only this time his expression was incredulous. “We both know we both burn.”
Lily laughed. “I guess so.”
The Potter’s had their own, small beach in front of their property, and Lily dug her feet down into the sand, looking at the inviting ocean.
She felt all too awkward after their talk a few nights ago. She had been brash, and almost cruel at some points. James was—good. But she didn’t want to end up like her mother. She didn’t want to stay for someone, like her mother had for her father, and regret it, like she could tell her mother did sometimes.
And if she had wanted someone to come out into the world with her, she couldn’t have picked a worse candidate. James was a Potter, and the Potters were Hogwarts Island’s beating heart. Their money was in every part of this island. Every grain of sand, every brick. Hogwarts Academy, whose headmaster was James’ father.
If Lily loved James, she’d never escape.
And the problem was, she did love James.
“So, I was thinking about doing a movie night or something,” James said from the other side of the boat. “Put a sheet up and a projector. We could lay it all out on the lawn, or by the pool. Get some candy and popcorn and shit, invite everyone.”
Lily cleared her throat. “Yeah, that sounds cool.”
James was at the front now, painting the boat’s nose. “Any suggestions or requests?”
Lily smiled. “Is it too cheesy to do Pirates of The Caribbean?”
James laughed. “Hell no. There’s no better place!”
Lily shrugged. “Then definitely that. Oh, Will Turner.”
James snorted. “Yeah, can’t say no to that.”
Lily smiled at him, and shifted closer to the other side of the bow.
“So, how’s your common-app going?” James asked. “These essays are sort of killing me. I mean, you’re staring out a window. What do you see? What the fuck kind of prompt is that? That’s what’s going to get me into college?”
Lily laughed. “Not to mention asking me why I want to go somewhere. They’re basically forcing me to make something dramatic up.”
“Right. If I’m being, you know, honest, I feel simple, and if I’m embellishing, I feel fake.”
Lily looked up at him. “Exactly. No, that’s—exactly.”
They smiled at each other, paintbrushes poised.
“I don’t know,” James sighed finally. “I’m—I’m sort of worried, Lils.”
“What about Lacrosse?” Lily asked.
James nodded. “That’s what my dad says. And, yeah, I love it, but…sometimes I wonder if it’s more that I love who I’m playing with. Luke, Remus, Thomas.”
Lily nodded, eyes flitting over his face which had gone serious and tense. “Right. No, that makes sense. But J, you’re so smart. And kind.”
James’ smile was small, but his eyes, when he looked at her, were fond. “Not as smart as you. And I can’t get a degree in kindness.”
Lily hummed, thinking. College was a sensitive topic for everyone it seemed. What was supposed to be one of the best parts of their lives was all uncertainty and vagueness. She thought of Marlene, and how she hadn’t told Dorcas about her early-decision acceptance yet. This seemed to be all goodbyes and leave-behinds.
“Sorry,” James cleared his throat. “That was a downer thing to say.”
Lily shook her head. “I’m starting to think college is just a downer thing.”
James smiled, and, even though it was something that had only been gone for a moment, Lily found that she had missed it. James was so bright. “Yeah.”
Lily knew that she was going to say goodbye to James in a year. But for the first time, she wondered how she knew, and when she had decided.
“You’re going to be amazing, Lils,” James said softly. She could tell that they were both thinking of their conversation. He looked down at her with his hazel eyes. “Really, you are.”
Lily meant to say thank you.
Instead, she leaned forward and kissed him. James’ body tensed, and then relaxed. His mouth opened beneath hers and she cupped his cheek, her other palm splayed on his chest. He was warm from the sunlight. He made a soft sound and tilted his head to kiss her again, hand between her shoulders. Then, he pulled back, their foreheads together. There was paint on his chest from Lily’s paintbrush. Blue, right over his heart.
“Lils,” James gasped. He wrapped a gentle hand around her wrist. “Lils, mixed messages, mixed messages…”
He was out of breath. Lily had made him that way. Her own heart was beating out of her chest.
“You’re right,” Lily breathed, and stepped away, drawing a fallen strap of her tank top up her shoulder. “You’re right, God, sorry.”
“No, it’s,” James began. “I mean, that was nice. Really nice.”
Lily sent him a wavering smile over her shoulder. “Yeah. Sorry about—” the paint. Everything.
She watched James out of the corner of her eye as he passed his hand through his hair a few times. This time, he came to stand beside her as they worked quietly.
It only took Lily a few moments to not be able to stand it any more. The feeling of him so close, of wanting him the way she did. He was gentle. He kissed in a way that made her want to melt. He had made her laugh, that night that they spent together, in between those kisses and gentle touches.
“Why did you ask me to do this with you, James?” Lily said. “I mean—aren’t you mad at me?”
James didn’t respond for a moment, but finally turned.
“What, we can’t be friends?” he asked.
“I wasn’t very nice to you the other night,” Lily said, and then groaned. “And—I mean, I feel awful about it but…you understand, don’t you?"
“I’m not here to tie you down, Lily,” James said, eyes firm behind his glasses. “If that’s what you think friends do…I don’t know what to tell you.”
“You’re not my friend,” Lily burst out, and then covered her eyes. “I mean—you are. But you’re…”
“It’s fine, Lils,” James said. When Lily looked up, he was shaking his head and stooping to dip his brush again. “Really, let’s just…let’s paint and tan. I’ll get us some sunscreen.”
“James—”
“You kissed me and then you said we weren’t friends. Forgive me if I’d rather stay where we are than go farther or backwards into those two territories that you seem to not want.”
Lily blinked.
James glanced at her, then away. “I should probably be asking you to leave. But I don’t want to lose you. Not yet. Not now, not if you really think that’s so inevitable.”
Lily stared at him. He was looking resolutely at his work, jaw tight. He looked beautiful, even when he was sad and overwhelmed. Lily was so angry at herself.
She didn’t want to lose him, either.
She timed her paint strokes to his, and they worked beside each other quietly.

Saint didn’t find what he expected to find.
Instead of Logan coming up the path, Luke Deveaux passed right by his car and open window.
Luke looked down in passing, probably expecting to see an empty vehicle, and then did a double take when, instead, he found Saint sitting there, Frankenstein in one hand, balanced on the steering wheel, and the other elbow resting out the window.
“Hello, tweedle,” Saint said.
Luke stopped walking. He had a gray t-shirt on with a large, navy Nike swoop on it, and black running shorts. Earbuds dangled around his neck, tangled in the two fine gold chains that hung there and trailing all the way into his pocket, where Saint could see the weight of his phone. He was sweaty, as though he had run here from Godric.
“What?” Luke said.
“Bad move,” Saint replied. “Taking your hit from The Shining twins.”
Luke just stared at him. He pushed his sweaty hair out of his eyes. Saint smiled. He liked Deveaux when he was caught off guard. This had never happened before.
“Well—” Luke began. “You’re here, too.”
“Not like that.”
Luke narrowed his eyes. “You said you didn’t deal.”
“I don’t.”
“So,” Luke’s eyes flit around the Jeep’s exterior. “You just sit in junk cars and read—” Luke looked forward. “Shelley?”
Saint frowned in approval and squinted back towards the house. “You say that almost as if you’ve read it.”
“I have.”
“What, in your ninth grade book report?”
“No, with my—” Luke turned his head away, mouth clamping shut.
“I see,” Saint said after a moment. “A bit of a strange parental bonding choice, but all right.”
“Fuck off,” Luke said. “And what the fuck did you call me?”
That was when Saint spotted Logan. He sat up and unlocked the Jeep doors with a click.
“Get in,” Saint said.
Luke scoffed. “Fuck off.”
“That’s the second time you’ve said that in five seconds. Get in, tweedle, or I’ll tell your mother about your candy addiction.”
To Saint’s slight surprise—he was used to people being drawn to him—that seemed to work and Luke complied, but he walked slowly, distrustfully, around the bonnet before sliding into the passenger seat.
Logan was coming up a different path, one stemming from the back of the house to what looked like a side door.
“She wouldn’t care,” Luke said as he slammed the door.
“You in my passenger seat says differently,” Saint said, and glanced at Luke’s wrist. “Nice watch.”
It was gold and glittery. It looked like it had probably been his father’s, and by no means looked like it should be worn on a run.
“Your car smells like wet dog.”
“I don’t have a dog,” Saint replied, eyes on Logan. He had knocked and was waiting now.
“I was talking about Black.”
Saint glanced at him. “You’re funny, Galileo.”
Luke just shook his head, bringing his t-shirt up to wipe his forehead. “Stop calling me tweedle—you think I’m dumb?”
Saint laughed. “No.”
“All right,” Luke put a hand on the door. “I’m getting out.”
“No,” Saint said, and grabbed Luke’s arm, fingers wrapping around his wrist. “Stay here or you’ll blow this for both of us.”
Luke shook him off and Saint pushed his door open. He began his stride up towards the house without looking back. He wondered if Luke was a snoop. The thought made him smile.
Logan saw him when he was half-way to the door, and rolled his eyes, shoving his hands out in an effort to silently say go back.
“Hello, number ten,” Saint said, leaning beside the door. “Now, who are you waiting for?”
“Saint, don’t.”
“Look, I’m hoping it was me, and if so, your ride’s here.” Saint narrowed his eyes. “Let’s go.”
“What do you care if I’m here?”
Saint looked at Logan’s backpack, the one that was always filled with Crucio. Even at the sight of it he imagined that he could feel the sweet, sleepiness that occupied his nights at the orphanage.
The door opened.
“Oh, look,” Amycus said, resting a hand on the door. “Haven’t seen you in a while. What is it you’re calling yourself these days? Saint.”
“Hello, Amy,” Saint smiled. “Nice to see you, we’re going now.”
“You can’t,” Amycus snarled. “He owes us.”
“I’m sure you haven’t lost that much,” Saint said back evenly.
“Oh yeah?” Amycus laughed. “Why don’t we take a look at green-eyes here’s subconscious. You want something bad enough, you like something enough, something feels good enough, then there comes a point where you don’t even know how far you’ve gone to get it. How much Felix have you taken, do you think, Tremblay?”
Logan just looked down.
“See?” Amycus cocked his head. “He doesn’t know. Which means I make make up whatever number I like.”
Saint nodded, thoughtful. “Interesting. What number is that?”
Amycus just grinned. “Your friend here will know when I tell him.”
“Bullshit,” Logan snapped, and Saint held up a hand.
“We’re going now, and you know what?” Saint leaned in. “You don’t know shit about what he wants.”
“Come back without your handler, Tremblay,” Amycus called after them.
Back at the car, Saint could see Luke reading Frankenstein through the windshield.
“Who’s that?”
“Who you got your two hundred bucks for,” Saint murmured.
“What about the two hundred more you just cost me?”
“You’re welcome,” Saint said, and motioned to Luke to get out.
“And what exactly was I supposed to get out of this?” Luke said, crossing his arms.
“A chit-chat with yours truly,” Saint replied. “Logan, get in the car.”
Logan glared, but took Luke’s place in the passenger seat.
Saint slid back into the driver’s side, took Logan’s backpack from him, and slung it into the back seat.
“Oh,” Saint leaned out his window. “And I’m sure you can go right up now.”
“I’m sure I can,” Luke tossed Saint the book. “Don’t forget Potter’s book. Did you steal it, or what?”
If only he knew, Saint thought.
“Bye, Luke,” Saint called as he turned out of the grove and down the street. He looked in his review mirror and smiled at the sight of Luke standing, framed in it. Then, he put his arm lazily on the steering wheel and let Luke’s golden watch flash in the sunlight on his wrist.
“You didn’t have to fucking—fetch me,” Logan grumbled.
“Yes, I fucking did.”
Logan turned towards him in his seat, and for a moment Saint thought he was going for his backpack, but Logan just looked at him.
“Look,” Logan said.
“I’m driving.”
Logan ignored him.
“There’s a treasure,” Logan said instead. “Leo told me about it. He thinks his dad knows where it is—The Cradle? Look, I—If we can get it—”
“Oh, good,” Saint sighed. “He sells Crucio and he’s a Voldemort tourist.”
Logan blinked. “You know about it?”
Saint scoffed. “Of course I know about it. Everyone knows about it, Logan.”
“Fine, but—if we can get it, then I can pay off—”
“I’m sorry, excuse me, excuse me,” Saint held up a hand, one on the wheel. The houses went from the tall mansions of Salazar to the workshop rows of Helga, to the low houses of The Hollow. “Did you or did you not just place all of your hopes of freedom on a long lost, legendary treasure.”
“Bash—Saint.”
“Answer the question.”
“It’s not my hope, it’s just an option.”
Saint just shook his head. “I don’t know what to tell you.”
“Come on,” Logan urged as Saint stopped the car in front of The Lion. “Isn’t there something you want? Something that much gold could get you?”
“Come to think of it, there isn’t that much I want, no.”
Logan paused, and then said, “Then, is there something you hate?”
When Saint didn’t reply for enough time, Logan took his backpack and got out of the car.

Sirius had dreamed about his little brother last night. Only, he had been on Wolfsbane, and Regulus had been on shore. There had been someone else in the boat, too, someone expertly pulling the ropes and taking Sirius farther out to sea. The wind had been warm.
Sirius had woken up thinking about Remus Lupin.
His entire day was thrown off.
Sirius looked over at Saint. “Are we going to talk about it?”
Saint had his head in Dorcas’ lap and his eyes closed. “Pardon?”
Dorcas and Sirius glanced at each other. “Logan.”
“We were at Saint Clair together. What else is there to say?”
“Maybe how he got out.”
“And why,” Dorcas added, running a hand through Saint’s hair. “It might help if you talked about that place more.”
“I’m good, thanks.”
Sirius groaned. “Saint. Come on, that kid looked freaked talking to you and then he bolted. What’s up?”
Saint sighed, his face opening up into a rare moment of softer eyes, and he sat up, nearly facing away from the both of them.
Sirius listened to the crickets outside. Before, he had just wanted to know about the orphanage. Now, he wanted Saint to not have to keep it all inside.
“When I arrived when I was five, Logan and Finn were already there,” Saint said finally. “And its not like its this horrible place. We have beds and food and we go to school together. We have friends. But we’re also locked away. The nuns are strict. The punishments are old-fashioned. A slap. A few days in solitude. The problem is…”
Sirius got up from his perch on the window and sat beside Saint on the ratty old couch they had dragged in. Saint didn’t look at him, but let him and Dorcas lay gentle hands on him, Dorcas’ on his back, Sirius’ one of his crossed ankles.
“I watched kids turn eighteen,” Saint said, voice steely. “And they’d be packing their bags and then—unpacking them.”
“They,” Dorcas began. “You mean they decided to stay?”
Saint just shook his head slowly. “I still haven't completely figured it out. I think—maybe Crucio has something to do with it. It’s the only thing I can think of that would make them stay. I keep having this—this memory of being so tired at night. And these dreams.”
“The plant Crucio is made out of has Melatonin in it,” Dorcas said, brow creased. “It influences the dreaming. The hallucinations.”
“So, what?” Sirius asked. “They stay for Crucio, you think?”
“They work some,” Saint said. “Around the island. But, yeah. They stay.”
“You think they’re bringing money back?” Dorcas asked gently. “To the orphanage?”
Saint shrugged. “I told you. I haven’t completely figured it out. But I’d rather figure it out from the outside. Even when I was seven, I knew something was wrong. But I was older when I arrived. Finn and Logan had been there since they were too young to recognize something like that. They didn’t know anything else.”
“And…you do?” Sirius asked faintly. Saint had never brought up remembering anything about his prior life, his family.
Saint laughed faintly and got up. “Who knows. That’s the thing about memories, right? We tend to make them worse, or make them better.” Sirius watched him go to the sink and turn it on and off. He opened the refrigerator and then closed it. Finally, he stilled.
“But I hate them,” Saint said, almost to himself. “I hate them for making anything feel real.”
Sirius opened his mouth to respond when Dorcas’ phone lit up with a loud ping.
She picked it up. “From Marlene. Apparently we’re invited to a movie night at Potter’s house.”
“Of course we are,” Sirius sighed, and got up and wrapped his arms around Saint from behind. “What do you feel like?”
Saint looked at him over his shoulder. “Well, how could I ever pass that up?”

When Logan didn’t find Leo at The Lion, he went to the Knut’s workshop instead. He’d been in there a handful of times now. It was a crowded room, walls-to-ceiling tools and cupboards that organized different found objects. Sea-glass and shards of blue china. There was large glass jars of things like compasses or pieces of weather vanes hanging by woven rope plant holders from the ceiling. There was a forge that was cool now, and there was a long work bench.
He found Leo on the work bench with the garage door open to the street, shirtless and welding something together.
“Oh,” Logan said instead of announcing himself.
Leo looked up, then back down, sparks flying around him. “Hey, what’s up?”
Logan walked a few steps inside and set his backpack—which was still empty—down.
“I want to help you,” he said.
The sparks stopped and Leo pushed his welding mask up. He was sweaty, his cheeks flushed from the heat. “What? With this?”
Logan rolled his eyes and walked in to straddle the other end of the work bench. “The treasure. We need to find the treasure. Think how rich we’d be.”
Leo stared at him for a long moment, then took his mask off and set his equipment down. For a moment, his face looked thunderous. Logan thought he was about to tell him to get out, but the storm dissipated.
“This isn’t a joke to me,” Leo said evenly after another pause. “And it’s not some greedy game, either. That’s not why my dad looked for things like this. He loved history.”
Logan blinked. “You—you don’t want the money?”
Leo rolled his eyes. “Of course I do. What do you think the finder gets?”
“Then what are you saying?”
“I’m saying don’t make me regret telling you. I’m saying my dad was never one to just pawn things off. He wanted things like that on display, for people to learn from.”
“How very, very noble and grand,” came another voice, and they both looked up to see Saint standing there. He had changed since the last time Logan had seen him. He was wearing a t-shirt that said New Orleans Saints.
“Saint?” Leo said.
“Hi there,” Saint gave a little salute. “I have a movie night to go to, apparently, a nice little godly sleepover, but I thought I’d stop by.”
“What are you doing…” Logan began warily.
“Well, come to think of it, there is something I hate.”
Leo tilted his head. “What is he talking about?”
“Not to mention,” Saint continued, and touched the bottom of the hanging compasses. He studied one, then looked at them and grinned.
“I do like gold,” Saint said.

Lemme just say I love him SO MUCH
LOGAN LEE BEST BOY
I absolutely loved his character and the fact that he was one of the few people who wants justice and is honest made me love him even more
Him playing Go Hu Dong was amazing as well and I didn't recognize him at all at first like he played it so well with the accent, costume and wig and everything
His accent and language switch in between English and the Busan accent Korean was so fucking sexy🥵
✨Mr. Joo✨
My man was also smart with his revenge
He was also serving amazing LOOKS every episode in the two seasons and I loved every single one of them
And I'm going to be honest here, after watching the preview for S2 ep13 his laugh was creepy in one of the clips and after reading a few theories I lowkey thought that he would be the next villian
I regret suspecting him now
But instead of that they gave us a bigger plot twist and blew up our man with a bomb😩
He literally went ✨LiGhT iT Up LiKe DyNaMiTe✨ (I'm so sorry)
I would've rather have him be a villian than die in the bomb
I MISS HIM ALREADY AND LOVE HIM SO MUCH😭
DID I MENTION THAT I LOVE HIM

Another one that annoyed me angered me so much🙄
Like she was ruthless and had no mercy when it came to bullying and putting people down that she thought were a rival or putting people down in general
She didn't change even when Rona died
She also went as far as to like cheat her way to win the Cheong Ah Art High School trophy and blackmailed Cheon Seojin to win the trophy
But there were times where she would show emotions and those would be often her break down and weak moments
And those moments would really show how she is broken inside and puts up a careless and brave image, she is someone who needs healing even though healing takes time
I also saw someone saying like 'oh Seok Kyung hates her mom so much'
Yeah she hated her mom but she didn't hate her to death like she didn't wish death upon her
Seok Kyung was heart broken when she heard Suryeon's death and that showed that she still loved her mom even though Suryeon didn't give birth to them
I was heart broken when I saw that she cut her hair because here was no one there to tie it for her bc Suryeon loved Seok Kyungs long hair and that's why she didn't cut it but after he mothers death no one was there to tie her hair for her
I started seeing her in a different light after a while bc again it showed that he character was very broken emotionally and needed healing
I'm interested about seeing more of her character development after the last ep where she defended Rona
Also my girl is so hot, another one that was serving amazing looks

He was lowkey annoying at first ngl
Like my man was just🧍🏻‍♂️
It annoyed me so much how he defended his sister so much, fell for her tricks, covered up for her and did anything she said EVEN though its wrong
But after some time I understood that he cared for and that she was the only family left to him
I mean Seok Hoon hate Joo Dan Tae so he doesn't counts and Suryeon was dead at the moment
I will still not forgive him for bullying Seol A even though he regrets it
It also annoyed me how he didn't stood up for Rona at all in the first season even though he liked her
By he got so much better in S2, he was even part in the revenge plan
He is literally the human CCTV camera in Hera Palace like he knows more than even the viewers know
The way he was protective of Rona when he found out she was alive was so aDORABLE
And my man was amazing in the last episodes
I love him

THIS WOMAN MAKES MY BLOOD FUCKING BOIL
Like I sometimes just was to 🤜🏻👩🏻
But sometimes I wanna hug her😩
Idk I feel like she became a horrible person bc of greed and that he father and mother placed too high expectations for her
Instead of praising her for her accomplishments her parents wanted her to do more
Maybe that's why she was desperate for love and affection and found that in Joo Dan Tae even though he pretended to like her
But that definitely does not dismiss her horrible actions
But also the harsh past made her the could hearted person, like she left her father to die
She felt more care towards her daughter after she almost lost her because Eunbyeol tried to commit suicide
She was in alot of pain and you could see it in her cries and when she was on the phone with the person
Soyeon's acting was amazing in that scene
She started to care more about her ex husband and daughter when she saw how much Eunbyeol was suffering and she realized that she genuinely liked Ha Yoon Chul hwen she saw how horrible Joo Dan Tae was
I did feel bad for her sometimes but after seeing that she didn't change I really didn't feel any sympathy for her
She needs therapy
Girlie was shocked when the doctor said she is losing her voice like bestie you are screaming every episode
She was also serving amazing looks every episode

The first male character I simped for
Like I am not going to deny it but he is hot🥵
But the first few episodes he was an absolute asshole and greedy
But I never expected him to be Yoonhee's ex boyfriend
I did like him a tiny bit when he saved Yoon Hee from Kyu Jin
His entrance in S2 with the helicopter was damn hot
And I WAS SO SHOCKED WHEN HE SAID MEET MY WIFE OH YOON HE
LIKE YAY MY SHIP IS SAILING
I spoke too soon
His character development and fighting skills were hot as well
He was ADORABLE with Rona and Yoonhee
I seriously thought that Rona was his daughter
BUT THAN AT THE CHEONG AH FESTIVLE OOF SIR I WANTED TO PUNCH HIM
I WAS SO MAD WHEN HE SABOTAGED RONA'S PERFORMANCE
I began hating him after that💀
Like he went 📈📉 with his character development
AND THEN HE CLEANED EUNBYEOL'S MEMORY FROM THAT NIGHT LIKE SIR SKSHSKSHKS SHE DID HAT TO YOUR DAUGHTER
I actually asked my dad what he thought about what Yoon Chul did and this was his reponse:
"If you look at it from a parents perspective they would want to do anything if they saw their child in pain like he did but I would've also scolded her and had a conversation with her about why she did it instead of wiping her memory from that night like he did. "
So that's that
I LOVED IT WHEN YOON HEE CAME WITH THAT BLOW AND TOLD HIM RONA WAS HER DAUGHTER
Jonghoon's acting was chef's kiss in that scene
I was going to rate him a 4 but I gave him that 5 when I saw how he was at court, he admitted to his wrong doings but also still had feelings for Yoon Hee
I wanna see his reaction in s3 to Rona now bc now that he got to know that is his daughter I wonder how he will be

I LOVE HER NOW
RONA BEST GIRL
She was also annoying at first and was very ungrateful
But over time she got better, still a tiny bit annoying sometimes but better
When she came back from the US I WAS LIKE GIRL NO YOU FINNA RUIN THE PLAN
I do feel bad for her bc she went through alot with bullying, her mom going to jail not only once but twice, her getting to know that Yoonchul who she started liking sabotaged her performance, and also literally almost dying
My girl has been through a lot
AND WHEN SHE RUNNED TOWARDS THE STAIRS OUTSIDE WHEN EUNBYEOL WAS CHASING HER I WAS LIKE GIRL RUN TO THE HALL YOU RUNNIN OUTSIDE
I am excited to see her reaction to getting to know that Yoon Chul is her dad
Part 2 is also posted!

Tempting and Teasing
Based off of this post by @im-a-goner-foryou I hope everyone enjoys 💕 this was so much fun to write
Warnings: parent/teacher relationship, age difference, mild daddy kink, smut, top Tony, bottom Peter, definitely nff
3.3K words (whoops)
————
Peter liked to be in contact with all his student’s parents.
But there were some who didn’t handle the school stuff, so he didn’t really get to know them. One of these was Tony Stark. Father of his favorite student (not that he’d admit to it.) And all he knew about the man was that he was an asshole.
But he’d never actually met him. It was just his reputation. Peter didn’t like to judge but he didn’t have reason to think any different.
Until the open house.
Apparently Morgan’s mom couldn’t attend like she typically did with these events. So there Tony was in all his glory.
He looked like the type of guy that would flirt with your wife in front of you. Snarky, acting all cool and mysterious. He wore thousand dollar sunglasses inside during the evening. That kind of guy. It was like he believed he was still the high school baddie in every teen movie.
It instantly annoyed Peter. He didn’t like phony people. And he didn’t like cocky people. And Tony Stark seemed like the best of both worlds.
Except...when he came to the classroom to talk to Peter about Morgan, he was like a completely different person.
They were alone in the room, so apparently he didn’t feel the need to put on his cool persona. He was sweet and dorky and seemed kinda like the best dad ever.
Morgan showed him around the classroom, proudly presenting her class work from the day to him.
And Tony just listened to her, encouraging her and letting her do whatever she wanted. He sat down in one of the tiny plastic chairs at the desks, clearly uncomfortable. But as soon as Morgan started talking again he was completely in tune with her and everything she was telling him.
Peter just watched in silent awe, smiling a little as he leaned against the counter. Maybe he shouldn’t have judged so quickly. Because Tony Stark was clearly just a big softie that didn’t want to be seen.
When Morgan was done with her presenting, Tony stood back up and walked over to Peter. He cleared his throat, raking a hand through his hair.
The teacher watched the action, biting his lip slightly before catching himself. That was highly inappropriate. He couldn’t help his attraction to a nice silver fox, but he could put off the swooning until later when he was home. Not in front of the man himself.
Tony caught the lip bite but didn’t comment, just smirking a little. “I just wanted to thank you for being such a good teacher to Mo. She never stops talking about you at home. She’s one of the only kids I’ve ever known to want to go to school.” He chuckled. “But I guess that’s all thanks to a wonderful teacher.”
Oh, the compliments instantly made Peter feel all warm and fuzzy, melting from the inside out as he listened. “It’s what I love to do, no need to thank me. And she’s a wonderful kid. Don’t tell the other parents, but she’s the best in the class,” he joked lightly.
A softer, more genuine laugh pulled itself from Tony and Peter could feel himself turning to mush. No, that was not how the night was supposed to go. Not at all. He couldn’t get attached.
“I think she’s pretty okay too,” Tony teased, looking down at the girl and ruffling her hair. “But again. Thank you. Don’t stop doing what you’re doing.”
“I don’t plan on it.” The teacher smiled, watching the father and daughter interact.
Tony picked Morgan up, looking back to the younger man after a moment. “Well, I’ll let you go. I’m sure you have other parents and gremlins to meet with. And I’ve gotta drop this little one off with her mom.” He grinned a little. “I hope I’ll see you again soon.”
And then, Peter could have sworn he dreamed it, the man quickly wet his bottom lip with his tongue as he looked over the teacher. Then he left with a wink and Morgan calling over his shoulder about seeing him tomorrow.
An interaction with a parent was not supposed to leave Peter weak at the knees. It was so inappropriate. He couldn’t have thoughts about Tony that were any more than how good of a dad he was.
But of course, that made Peter wonder how good of a daddy he could be as well.
God, what had he done.
———
Of course, the next day had to be the day that Tony began driving Morgan to school.
Pepper typically did it, and she would continue to, but she needed someone for that morning and Tony jumped at the opportunity to see the pretty teacher again.
He was only human, after all. Weak for pretty young men who were kind. Peter’s sweetness made Tony want to ruin him that much more.
So he drove up to the school in his high dollar car, smirking as he watched other parents gawk and mutter among themselves. He parked to take Morgan inside instead of just doing the car line. Made it sure that he would see her teacher.
He walked her to the classroom, hands tucked in his pockets as he walked.
Peter saw him instantly, breath catching in his throat. “H-hey, Mr. Stark.”
“Just call me Tony, it’s alright,” he told the young man with a slight smirk. He loved how instantly flustered Peter was. “Just wanted to make sure that Mo got where she needed to be. She tends to wander.”
The young man nodded quickly. “Of course. Everyone is just playing outside right now, you’re here a bit early. So.” He leaned down, gently taking Morgan’s bag and hanging it on her designated hook. “You, little miss, can go play with Ms. Stacy’s kids that are here so far and the couple from your class. No running, no rough play, be careful,” he told her, running down the rules quickly.
He could feel Tony’s eyes on him and it made him feel hot all over.
Morgan quickly walked to the open door that led to the playground, not even bothering to wave bye to her dad.
Tony chuckled. “I guess whatever is out there is way more interesting than her old man, huh?”
“Oh, she just loves to play. You can’t take it personally.” Peter laughed softly, brushing a hand through his hair shyly. He was suddenly worried about how he looked. Damn the effect Tony had on him.
The older man smiled a little, nodding. “I guess.”
A moment of silence passed before Peter cleared his throat. “So, uh, I guess you can go now. Since she’s settled in and all.”
“Oh, well, she wasn’t the only reason I came,” Tony said smoothly. “I also just couldn’t help myself from seeing a certain teacher again.”
Peter watched him for a moment, clearly trying to work out what he meant. He had been the valedictorian of his high school class but couldn’t figure out that Tony meant him and not another teacher. “Then I guess you’d better go...find them,” he mumbled, a little disappointed. His eyes dropped to the ground in embarrassment.
Tony snorted a laugh. “Already found him, honey.” He stepped a little closer, watching the man.
“Him? Oh!” The teacher looked back up, meeting Tony’s eyes. “So you- me? You wanted to see me?”
“Of course I did, Mr. Parker,” he teased lightly. “I’m not one to deprive myself of the beauties in life.”
The younger man’s cheeks colored. “I’m not- you’re- oh, shut up.”
Tony was a little taken aback by the comment, but laughed. “What, can’t take a compliment?”
“I don’t appreciate teasing, Mr. Stark.”
“Oh that? That isn’t teasing. That’s genuine compliments. But I can tease if you’d like me to. How much time do you have?”
Peter stared at him, cheeks pink. “Mr. Stark- this is highly-“
“You want me to back off, just tell me and I will,” Tony told him boldly. “Just say the word.”
When Peter didn’t say anything, he smirked. “That’s what I thought.” He stepped forward, moving one hand to possessively cup the other man’s cheek. “You can tell me no at any time, alright?”
Peter knew that wouldn’t be happening.
He leaned up, catching Tony in a quick and hard kiss.
The older man eagerly kissed back, using his free hand to pull the teacher flush against his body.
Peter deepened the kiss, nipping at Tony’s bottom lip until the other man parted his lips with a groan, allowing the younger man to slip his tongue inside.
By the time they broke the kiss they were both panting and half hard, clearly not ready to stop anything they were doing.
“Give me one moment,” Peter whispered with a quick kiss pressed to Tony’s lips.
He walked to and opened the door, ducking his head outside.
“Gwen,” he said quickly.
The other teacher was watching her kids closely, slowly tearing her eyes away to look at Peter. “Yes…?”
“I need you to watch my kids for a little bit. Please. It won’t-” he glanced to Tony. “Well, it probably won’t take too long.”
The woman finally focused on him, then turned her eyes to the other man. She immediately knew what was going on and gave her coworker a disapproving look. “Peter, no. You can’t do that.”
“Pleeeease, Gwen. I’ll buy you lunch if you just watch my class. Twenty minutes tops.”
Tony snorted. “You’re definitely lowballing it a bit,” he mumbled. He shut up when the teacher nudged him.
Gwen sighed heavily, but nodded. “Fine. But just this one time, okay?”
“Of course, don’t even worry.”
He slipped back into the classroom, pulling Tony with him and locking the door.
Before he knew what was going on, he was pressed to the wall and lifted into the air as he yelped. “Tony!”
The older man chuckled, hands gripping the teacher’s thighs in order to hold him up. “Yes, honey?”
“A little warning next time would be nice,” Peter breathed before pulling Tony in for a kiss.
“Ooh, next time,” he said teasingly, instantly kissing back. He pressed his hips to Peter’s, allowing the man to feel how hard he was under his dress slacks.
The younger man hummed, rocking his hips weakly from his difficult position. “Is that all for me, Mr. Stark?”
Tony chuckled against his mouth, trailing kisses from his lips down to the collar of his sweater. “All for you, sweetheart. And yours to choose what to do with.”
Peter moved his hips again, working to try and get friction to his clothed cock. “I need you to fuck me, Tony.”
“See, I knew you could have a dirty mouth on you if you wanted,” he teased, gently nipping at a spot on the man’s neck.
The young man keened, mouth falling open around a quiet moan. “That’s not even half of it, sir. Just need to feel you so badly. I’ve thought about it since I saw you last night. Since you winked at me,” he rambled.
“That’s what got you?” Tony murmured, amused. “You’re so cute. Desperate for my cock just because of a wink.”
“And you- you licked your lips. Looking at me,” Peter recalled. “God, that messed with me.”
Tony slowly set Peter down to work on getting his pants off, listening to him with a hum. “Tell me, Mr. Parker, did you get off thinking about me last night? Did my little bit of interest I showed get you all hot and bothered?”
“Y-yes, sir. I had to get off as soon as I got home.”
“Tell me how you did,” the older man murmured, pushing Peter’s pants and tight briefs off. “Tell me how you took care of yourself.”
Peter’s cheeks flushed darker. “I fingered myself first-“
“How many fingers?”
“Th-three. Had to prep myself for a bigger toy.”
Tony hummed softly, nodding as he slid his hands over the teacher’s hips. “Used a toy on yourself?”
“I did. It’s my favorite, nice and thick. Not too long,” he described. He shivered at the way that Tony touched him, leaning up for another quick kiss.
“That sounds good,” the other man murmured. “So you like thick cocks?”
Peter nodded, cheeks burning as he eyed the bulge in the man’s slacks. “I do. Do you have one for me?”
Tony chuckled, unbuckling his belt and leaving it loose around his hips. “I’ll let you decide that for yourself.”
He unbuttoned his pants and unzipped just enough, getting his cock out of his boxers until it was visible.
And oh, it was even better than Peter had hoped.
Even thicker than his favorite toy, just about as long. He couldn’t wait to feel it inside of him. Tony had a gorgeous cock.
Tony grinned a little as he watched the teacher nearly drool over just the sight of him. “Is this acceptable?”
“More than. Way more than. Please, I need that inside of me,” Peter breathed, his own cock twitching as he watched the man start to stroke himself.
“We haven’t even prepped you yet, honey. I wouldn’t want to hurt you.”
“Hurt me, Tony, fuck! I just need you,” he whined, hips bucking weakly into the air. “I’ll be fine.”
“Telling me to hurt you,” Tony mused. “That’s dangerous. Dangerous thing to tell me to do.”
“I want it so bad. Please hurt me,” Peter begged, chest rising and falling quickly with each heavy breath. He was so ready for Tony, no matter the discomfort he’d feel later.
The older man chuckled softly, picking Peter up again and pressing his back against the board. “Your wish is my command, honey.”
The teacher marveled at his strength as he used just one arm to hold him up. Then Tony used his free hand to guide his cock to Peter’s hole, pausing after a moment.
Wordlessly, he reached into his back pocket and grabbed a packet of lube that he quickly tore open and drizzled over his cock. “Almost forgot,” he murmured. “Although we both would have remembered quickly.”
Peter stared at him in disbelief for a moment before laughing. “You came prepared. You counted on this happening.”
“I did,” Tony confirmed. “I saw the way you looked at me yesterday. And...well, I was hoping you’d feel the same way as I did.” He grinned. “I just can’t wait sometimes.”
“Obviously.” The teacher laughed softly, hands feeling over the other man’s clothed arms and gripping gently to keep himself steady. And just feeling Tony up was nice too. Blame it on practicality and the sexy muscles he felt were just a bonus. Right. “Are we ready now?”
Tony slid the tip of his cock against Peter’s hole, feeling the tight muscle clench at the movement. “Relax,” he said gently. “Don’t want this to hurt you. Just relax.”
Peter nodded slowly, eyes staying on the man as he wrapped his legs around his waist. “I’m relaxed. Don’t stop, keep going. Please.”
He gasped when the head of Tony’s cock pushed in, the stretch burning slightly but nothing more than he could handle. “Fuck. Yeah, that’s it. Keep going, Tony!”
The older man smiled as he watched him, slowly pressing in until his balls were flush against the teacher’s ass. “Still feeling good?”
Peter’s high moan told him what words couldn’t. The sound told him to keep going. And so did the man’s fingers gently digging into his shoulders out of pleasure. Apparently the lack of preparation only affected him but so much.
So he started moving, hips thrusting forward at an even pace that quickly sped up.
Peter dropped his head back, eyes slipped shut as he groaned in obvious bliss.
The sight of his pale, unblemished neck was welcoming and Tony quickly attached his lips to a spot.
He kissed over the smooth skin at first, gentle in contrast to his harsh thrusts. But then he bit down, just hard enough that he knew there would be bruising later on.
He continued the cycle, kissing sweetly before biting or sucking marks into the teacher’s perfect skin. Peter’s skin had a garden of blooming bruises over his entire neck, more reds and purples showing than the creamy white it originally was.
Each mark pulled a new sound from him, pleasure he didn’t know was possible surging through his body at every dueling sensation.
Tony eventually just rested his lips in the junction of Peter’s shoulder, where his sweater had slipped slightly in their frantic activities. His hips kept up their bruising pace, fucking into the teacher quickly as they both felt their highs approaching.
“Tony,” Peter gasped out, opening his eyes once again to look at the other man. He clenched down hard around the cock inside of him, moaning louder. “Oh fuck, I’m gonna cum. Tony, I’m gonna cum,” he whimpered, breathing hard as his high rapidly got closer.
The only friction to his cock had been the way it had slapped against his stomach with every thrust Tony gave but that combined with the brutal fucking he was on the receiving end of was more than enough to get him to the edge. He felt his balls tightening with every continued movement and he knew it wouldn’t be much longer.
Tony nodded, weakly sucking one more mark onto his neck. “I’m close too,” he murmured, hips not faltering in their actions. “Cum for me, baby, come on. I know you need to, cum for daddy.”
Hearing Tony call himself that name was the last thing Peter needed to send him over the edge.
He cried out as his orgasm hit him, tears leaking from the corners of his eyes at the sheer intensity.
His cock jerked before spurting long ropes of cum in between his and Tony’s bodies. He was vaguely aware that they’d need to clean up but was too lost in his high to truly focus on it.
Tony wasn’t far behind him, thrusts finally stilling as he came. He held Peter close, pressed firmly against the other man as he spilled deep into him.
They came down from their highs together, holding each other more gently than before and working on evening out their breathing.
Peter was the first to speak, words coming out in between soft kisses he pressed to Tony’s jaw. “So this...uh...were you thinking this was like...a one time thing?”
Tony laughed softly, unable to help himself. He was still high on the feeling of everything going on that the event of it never happening again didn’t even occur to him. “No. This was...was way too good to just be once. If that’s alright with you.”
He slowly set the teacher down, softening cock slipping out of him. He grabbed a tissue from Peter’s desk and quickly cleaned himself up and got tucked away in his pants. Then he focused on cleaning up Peter.
As he worked, Peter talked. “I think this was...yes. Amazing.” He laughed a little. “But maybe...not here next time. Maybe my place? Somewhere I won’t get fired?”
Tony chuckled, gently dressing Peter again and nodding. “Somewhere else would be good. Your place, my place. Somewhere,” he agreed.
“Oh, good.”
They managed to get themselves mostly presentable just in time for the starting bell to ring.
Peter unlocked his door and let his students in, whispering a quick thank you to Gwen.
Tony left the building after kissing the teacher quickly, leaving him swooning and giggling. He was put together and smooth, like nothing at all had happened. The only indicator that something happened was the smug smirk on his face.
Peter on the other hand...the teacher looked like he’d been attacked by something. Where he was normally put together and perfect, he was a wreck. Curls wild and sticking up, bruises forming all over his neck, sore and limping, sweater still suspiciously stained (not that the kids would notice.)
But he was thrilled and had a huge smile on his face that wouldn’t leave.
And a certain parent’s number added to a new contact in his phone.
