Might talk more about this later but I would really like to hear what people mean when they talk about 'crwby' and say things like 'I support crwby, not RT' and 'don't pirate rwby because crwby says not to,' and 'rwby is separate/different than RT.'

Like first of all, please tell me how you are absolutely certain that your money is exclusively going towards supporting rwby and nothing else and please explain to me how you know for sure that supporting rwby doesn't prop up RT.

Second of all, what the hell do you guys mean by 'crwby?' Are you counting Miles Luna who was the head writer for animation at RT for years and has a history of misogyny? Are you counting the several Rooster Teeth founders who have worked on rwby? Are you counting Barbara Dunkelman who was specifically named by someone talking about the bad conditions at Rooster Teeth who was like, head of PR or something? Do they count as 'part of Rooster Teeth' if they've also worked on things like Achievement Hunter, Gen:Lock, the Internet Box, or other RT shows? Do people count Shane Newville as part of crwby? Are you counting Kdin who liked some of my posts talking about pirating rwby, or are you only talking about that one ex-employee who said to watch rwby on crunchyroll? Are you talking about the numerous employees who came out about mistreatment or are you only talking about the employees who were like 'idk I like it at RT?' Are you counting people like Gray Haddock or Ryan Haywood or are you only counting the former cast that make rwby look good? Do you guys think none of the people who work on rwby actually work at RT and it's just like a completely separate thing entirely? Do you think people are either RT workers or rwby workers instead of both RT workers and rwby workers? Do you just black out when the RT logo flashes before every episode of rwby starts? Do you guys think that Miles Luna did his work as the head of animation whilst secretly plotting RT's downfall and orchestrating how rwby could come out on top like he's Morgana plotting the death of Uther from inside the walls of Camelot? Do you guys think buying bumbleby merchandise from the official Rooster Teeth website is somehow not helping RT? Do you guys think the rwby writers were like, angry and unwilling when RT used the bees to make merch sales, and Barbara and Arryn were forced to do smiling photoshoots of them in sixty dollar sweaters on the company website?

I mean maybe I just don't understand, but to me it's very much so giving 'I don't support JKR, I just support Harry Potter.'

So I just found out that someone in the anti-rwde saying that they are and I quote: "Should A Tumblr Blog exist that takes RWDE Headcanons and de-RWDES them for the enjoyment and discussion with people that actually like RWBY."

Like Im not even fucking impressed! Like Boy howdy this is just pure comedy at its finest!!! Imagine being so pressed that you just see what RWDE Headcanon posts as its like a fucking shiny ass diamond in the goddamn mine and much better than Rooster Teeths which looks like a literal garbage fire in the middle of some random ass city street.

And for discussion and enjoyment. Are you fucking dumb or are you just plain ol' stupid? Because guess what? Yeah, I hate RWBY's main canon and its bullshit but there are some things I like from it that I can take and improve upon. Hold up Anti-RWDErs while you're reading this part do me one favor.

This also can apply to guess what. PEOPLES HEADCANONS. Because they are things that I do like that I wish RWBY could expand on but no... CRWBY just gives out minimum effort garbage and you just suddenly swarm it and praise it like its a better thing while some of y'all tell us that our Headcanons are either shit because we ship Yang or Blake with a dude and then get attacked for it.

Gee why does that sound like the same thing when Shippers wanna ship their OC's with a Canon RWBY character they get attacked for it or with rarepairs they get attacked for it.

Seriously, and now y'all wanna be like art thieves and take what we thought up of and bastardize it to what YOU want it to be. Everyone has creativity no shit. And some of us just wanna write our STORIES and discuss with them how it sounds cool or needs improvement on things.

If you are gonna be so pressed over headcanons then amigo/amiga. You need to take a step back and think about what you are doing. Cause heres what ya gotta do.

TL;DR: Anti-RWDE likes RWDE HC's but is so pressed that they wanna take peoples HC's they made and twist it to fit their own shit.

So. There’s this show I really hate.

I didn’t even want to watch it, but I was forced to sit through literally all of it because my parents liked it for some reason that completely eludes me. Not only is the plot catastrophically bad and the characters inconsistent — it’s also very, very misogynistic in essence. Just thinking about it now makes me want to chew on the writing team’s bones.

I genuinely have nothing good to say about this show.

So. Do you know how many posts I uploaded to the corresponding tags?

Because there’s no point in spending energy on a thing I hate so passionately, and even less in ruining it for other people.

Don’t get me wrong — it’s OK to point out irregularities in writing, and to talk about specific aspects of a story that upset you. But uploading dozens of posts about how you Hate The Thing, Analysing The Thing Is Pointless, Everyone Who Worked On The Thing Is Stupid, and Everyone Who Loves The Thing Is Delusional, is maybe not the genius take you think it is.

It doesn’t make you smarter than everyone else. It just makes you boring.

On the RWBY subreddit it's a legitimately very popular talking point that RWBY hates men because Emerald and Ilia turn good and get forgiven for their crimes whereas the major male villains like Adam and Ironwood get villain deaths. And this is of course completely true, because as we all know no men in RWBY get heel/face turns. Except Whitley, Marrow, Vine, Hazel and probably Mercury eventually.

It's honestly so funny to me when people are like "why are people speculating that *theory* might happen? Don't they realize that if that happened, it would be bad writing/isn't something most viewers want/would have bad implications/ignores the real problems?"

I don't know how to explain this to people but a lot of people don't think the rwby writers always make good well thought out non-problematic choices.

I'm theorizing that there's a possibility that Ruby after her Ascension will be clearly influenced by Summer or basically be Summer not because I think it would be a good choice, but because I think it'd be a bad choice and at this point in time

Is it the only theory I have? No, I have several other equally bad theories on what might happen, and I even have a longshot theory on something they could do that would at least not be bad enough to make me want to kick something into the sun, but I don't think the rwby writers make good choices. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
