i’m super excited to introduce my new Squaller, Zephyr! the name is no accident, and was actually given to him a lot later in life when his summoning was discovered.

due to the unfortunate circumstances of his conception and birth Zephyr was unnamed for years, his mother would only refer to him as “boy” or “you”. she struggled immensely with

p/ost p/artum *censoring it doesn’t appear in important conversations haha*, and thus struggled to provide him with affection or care at all.

When at last Zephyr presented his skill of summoning, his mother thought of it was a cosmic joke that a Rosya b@stard would be a Grisha, the very thing his father wished to destroy.

—his discovery of his ability was due to getting 3rd degree frost bite on all his fingers and in his desperation to seek warmth, began manipulating the air around him to warm thru Grisha science.
