"haptic nerve blocking"
I always thought the squip would have to block more than just Jeremy's vision to actually remove something from his perception. And the problem with blocking sensory input at the level of the sensory nerves (rather than inside the brain where the input is processed) is that... now there's just a lack of input in that area?
When you have a blind spot in your eye, your brain's actually pretty good at filling in the hole with surroundings so you don't notice. I'm not sure if the same is true of tactile nerves --- but I thought maybe the squip would just selectively mute those nerves whenever Michael touches him. So here's a comic where Jeremy notices that numbness and puts 2 and 2 together :P
Also, please stare at this panel for at least three hours for me it's my favorite one and the first one I drew. thank you djsklfjdsf

Most people think Batman is Harvey Dent’s number one nemesis, but they’re actually wrong.
It’s Joe Chill.
Literally the first thing Harvey should do as a mobster is hunt that fucker for sport. THEN, his second most important foe is the barista who never gets his order right.
To be entirely fair; It is Tim’s first job. (He does it on purpose)

being a comics fan will very genuinely prepare you for anything. at best your favourite characters get one or two good runs by one or two exceptional writers over the course of decades. the next year theyll be cancelled halfway through a pivotal arc that was FINALLY doing them justice. three years later theyll be completely retconned into oblivion. the next time you hear of them they've become cannon fodder for a more popular character's Big Important Arc. killed in 03 just to be brought back as Popular Character's girlfriend in 2018. i am clinging onto five pages from the late 90s and i fear i'll never see them again but by god were those five pages compelling

Roy and Dick being divorced parents and fighting for custody of the team is actually incredibly accurate to the og Teen Titans comics. Those two had beef on sight.
Also Wally being INCREDIBLY DISTRAUGHT over their fighting is fantastic and I love it.
"Don't drag Wally into this!" - Small bird man who doesn't want to lose his BFF in the divorce
