shouto always facetimes you when he's wearing a suit even if he has nothing to actually say, so one afternoon when you answer his incoming call and are greeted by the sight of his buttoned-down and lapelled chest, your face immediately feels hot.

"shouto?" you ask, your voice infuriatingly flustered even though you had tried your very best to choke it back. "what's up?"

and then he tilts the camera back up to its usual position—a little too high, so really it's just the bridge of his nose, his eyes, and the top of his head left at the very bottom of the screen. and simply he goes: "i'm wearing a suit."

"i can see that," you reply, resisting the urge to drag your hand down your face—equal parts frustrated and horrifically endeared to your boyfriend's familiar antics. "is that the reason you called?"

"i know you like when i wear them so i wanted to call and show you."

HEADCANON TIME!

When Tails arrived to earth, he was fascinated with the organisms that inhabited the planet. He spent weeks studying the flora and fauna in Green Hills as soon as he moved in with the Wachowskis. Taking note of his interests, Sonic takes his little brother to the forest to get a closer view of the subjects he’s interested in. Sonic and Tails would spend hours wandering around in the forest documenting all of the species within the area. This has become a weekly ritual between the two. On one of their nature walk, Tails spots a few pill bugs rolling into balls. He scoops a few of them up to take home to study in his lab, claiming that they're just as cool as his big bro.

I wanted to make a small art piece for Wholesome Sonic & Tails. It’s always a pleasure to see them appear on my Tumblr dash every Wednesday!

bucci asks franky why he sacrificed himself (and his potential freedom) for the strawhats and he says its because he knows sanji and usopp wouldn't have given up. and bucci is like but WHY? ofc franky is at his heart a good person, but the other half of it is he genuinely thought iceburg was dead. that he'd lost arguably the most important person in his life. why he stayed in water 7 besides his guilt. he dedicated YEARS to establishing himself in the underworld the city fully expecting to die. because when the time came, he planned to exchange his life for iceburg. when the world govt made their move, he'd be ready. he thought he was living on borrowed time anyways (perhaps one of the reasons he never saves his money is because he doesn't know how long he has left to spend it?) but then he thinks iceburg died. and he couldn't save him. what was the point? if he couldn't save iceburg.... what was left? so yah, he'd help anyone he could and risk himself flippantly bc he hadn't been planning on surviving the puffing tom for a second time.
