•he never made it a thing to announce it to his viewers, he just kind of included you in videos, and people understood you were together

what is G/t

G/t is, in its simplest form, the size difference trope. Think of those episodes in shows where the characters shrink or grow. It’s one of those tropes that can be slapped onto literally any media. It’s one of the most common tropes tv shows would use, alongside things like time travel, alternate dimensions, gender swap, just space, and more! G/t stands for Giant / tiny, which is usually the main focus for most people. There are many different things you can find in g/t from soft and cute scenarios to more angst and horror-like scenarios. It just depends on the person. G/t is usually very safe for work with some getting close to the edge of nsfw but never fully crossing it. On tumblr there is a very clear difference from the sfw and nsfw stuff (With g/t being the safe stuff and micro/macro being nsfw, usually)

Now the main thing about g/t is the size difference. With characters interacting with differently sized items or people. The G is the giant which is typically used for whoever the bigger (literally) person is. So it’s not always gonna be a giant and will sometimes be a human. The t on the other hand is the tiny person, which just like the G, can include a human sized person. As long as the size difference is great enough (each person has their own thoughts on when size difference becomes g/t or is simply tall person with slightly shorter person) then it is consider g/t. Now a tiny or giant doesn’t necessarily need to interact with their counter part, it could be something simple like a tiny fairy exploring an abandoned house, or a giant roaming the country side. If the person doesn’t “fit” in the environment it can count. (Which is probably why a lot of us use it as a coping mechanism. Cause like you don’t fit in and it’s easier to imagine literally not fitting in)

There are many kinds of character in g/t too! Tinies and giants can range from “That’s a human who is big/small” to “that’s a person who is big/small, but they have some extra features (like wings or horns, etc) to “that’s a creature/alien…a big/small one…oooohhhh” Most people in the community usually vibe with one of the sides. Most people are tinies, some a giants, and then there’s people like me who couldn’t decided and liked both sizes for different reasons and said “SCREW IT! Sizeshifter time”

There’s a lot to g/t and it’s kinda hard to describe and yet so simple to describe too. Each person into it, loves it for so many different reasons. It’s basically the trope that me and many others really love to many unique degrees. It’s literally about new perspectives and seeing our world from them, in a very literal sense sometimes. When you know about g/t you start seeing it everywhere, commercials, movies, tv shows, games, etc. The stories may have the same trope but each delivers it in such a unique way that, it always feels brand new and like an amazing adventure!

If you have any more question, or if anyone else has questions about other g/t things I can try my best to answer them (I’m very bad at answering asks, sorry about that) I may not be the best at explaining things, but I can sure try my best to!

Random Chuuya headcanons

I honestly feel like he wouldn’t date anybody since he is in the mafia and he wouldn’t want anybody to be in danger because of that, he would probably date someone if they’re in the mafia with him

But if he were to date somebody then he would most definitely keep his eyes on his significant other, like he would stay loyal to that person and make them his top priority

Even though he is rich, I don’t think he would be buying unnecessary things, like I just feel like he wouldn’t go around buying hundreds of things just bc he’s rich

He has a YouTube channel of him doing skincare and hauls and a bunch of other stuff

He DEFINITELY knows how to cook and draw/paint😍😍

Second! The mc is actually half siren jsjs I'm not sure if I posted it before but the tragedy of the mermaid mc was that they were left behind by their bank for being too weak compared to all their siblings who were full sirens, mc also got hurt in a hunt and that's when their bank decided they didn't want the little one dragging them down. Mc was abandoned and had to survive on their own for a long time. That's why they fell for Leona and let themselves get caught in a net, because they admired the way the pirate ship worked together and there was no distinction between the stronger humans and those who may have been considered weak because they lacked a leg or hand. Something that would definitively get you kicked out of your bank in the sea, was seen as normal on the ship. The leader even lacked an eye and still looked so sure and fierce while commanding everyone. The mc admired Leona and wanted to be part of something desperately, they thought maybe those humans were different, those humans may accept a boney and afraid thing and not abandon it. We know how that ended.

But for the fluff, I didn't write it nor draw it but sometimes I think about it in the middle of the day. The mc is supposed to have a very happy stay with the Pomefiore trio! Leona's ship gets arrested after a very bad storm that weakened them, and most of their stuff was confiscated or sold in the black market, including the mermaid mc. Here's where most of the timelines divide, but in the pomefiore one, Rook buys the mc at an auction and takes them back home to Vil, who's working hard to finally surpass Neige in the theatre/opera house. Rook suggests that a mermaid might be the perfect singing teacher for Vil, and Vil while not convinced feels pity for the traumatized person brought to her who is too afraid to go back to the sea, and decides that as long as mc helps her get better at singing, teaches them that charm able to captivate everyone, she will provide them with a roof over their heads and three warm meals every day.

The mc eats their first warm meal when dining with the pomefiore trio, it was so tasty that it made the mermaid shed tears. They never thought it would become a normal thing for them with time, that they would learn to cook it, nor the effect it would have on their body. When they see the first belly roll form on their body while bending the sight makes them feel so weird but also so grateful. The mc discovers what a book is, and they hate reading but are fascinated with watching pictures of different animals and biomes on land, they are particularly fascinated with ants and bugs. They feel pride for the first time, not only for themselves but also for Vil whenever she perfects any singing lesson. The mermaid mc starts dreaming of being able to walk and bake every day to give people a warm treat, and sharing what they have with Vil, Rook, Epel, and those who don't have a family.

The problem is that the mc fears soon they will no longer have anything to teach Vil, and fear returning to the sea + Neige isn't happy about mc's involvement in Vil's life + Azul is looking for MC in land </3

MEET CHAOTIC PROMPTS

Alright, kids, listen up.

We’re all suckers for a good meet-cute. Don’t even try to lie to me. Like, yeah, they’re cliché, but, if done well, it can be really cute, hence the name.

Meet-uglies on the other hand can be super funny, and they almost always lead to enemies-to-lovers or rivals-to-lovers, even if just for a hot second. They’re great, too.

But here’s the thing:

I want more meet-chaotics. Not meet-cutes, not meet-uglies, meet-chaotics.

What do I mean by this?

Well, you know how crazy life can be sometimes? How wack shit happens, it makes a good story to tell your friends, and it makes you low-key question reality for a second? Yeah. Meet-chaotics are like that. How you met is just so weird and chaotic that it was a bonding experience.

Here are some prompts/concepts so you understand what I’m getting at:

“Normal”/Humor:

 “I’m an uber driver dropping off my last customer, and you and your friends(?) just jumped into my backseat right as they got out and yelled a variety of ‘DRIVE! FUCKING DRIVE!’ and ‘FLOOR IT!’ There are flashing lights behind me, but I panicked and stepped on the gas, and now you’re trying to assure me that it’s not what it looks like, but I’m too busy worrying that I’m a wanted criminal now.” 

Bonus points for found family and/or polyamory!

“I’ve had a really bad day, and it started to rain, so, because I’m dramatic, I blasted my ‘*insert playlist name here*’ and lied down on my sidewalk/lawn/driveway facing the sky, and you just drove by, backed up, and ran out to join me as ‘Chasing Cars’ by Snow Patrol was playing. I have never met you before, but I’m pretty sure we’ve bonded and might be soulmates.” (Yes, I got this idea from a TikTok. What of it?).

“I was walking my dog at the park when he got off his leash, and now I’m running after him through the park calling his name and yelling to ‘GET THAT DOG!’ You’re having a barbecue/family reunion/birthday party, and my dog sprints towards you, knocks someone over, and begins eating your food. You see me sprinting towards you and trying to catch my dog, but he’s faster, so now we’re both chasing my dog, and I may or may not be swearing words that’d make a sailor blush. Eventually, one of us or a random stranger catches him, and we finally stop, and, hey, sorry about that, but, wazow! You’re pretty cute.” 

Bonus points for anyone vaulting over a table or something.

“We’re on our way to class, and I just witnessed you run past me down the stairs holding a bunch of books, trip, roll down two flights, and roll to your feet and keep running like nothing happened. And, like, we didn’t talk, and I don’t think you noticed me, but now I can’t help thinking of you. Like, that was impressive, but are you okay?”

“We’re at a house party, and it’s gotten pretty wild. Music is blasting from the speakers, people are dancing on tables, stuff is breaking, etc. Suddenly, the music shuts off, and someone yells, “POLICE!” and everyone s c a t t e r s. It’s pure chaos. I trip while running outside and curl up in a ball to not get trampled, but then a hand reaches down and pulls me up, it’s you, and we run off together still holding hands. Who are you, again?”

Bonus points if this goes back to the uber driver prompt. 

Bonus bonus points if this couple is coming from the same place as the folks from the first prompt, so it’s same universe, but they’re completely different people having their own meet-chaotics running from the police ‘cause they were at the same party.

Could be any illegal/big crowd scenario. A concert, a protest, etc. 

Sci-Fi:

“We live in a world where superheroes exist. One day, I’m minding my own business in my own apartment when you, *insert superhero name here,* crash through my wall while I’m just lounging on the couch, mug of coffee/preferred drink to my lips, feet up on my coffee table, and laptop open on my lap. We stare at each other. You get up, apologize, and fly off through the hole in the wall. Little do I know, you feel bad about the whole thing and decide to try making it up to me, except every thing you try just descends us more and more into chaos.”

Bonus points if this ends up being enemies to lovers, seeing as the protagonist, Character A, would probably be hella bitter about not having the specific superhero insurance needed to fix their wall. 

Bonus bonus points if Superhero has to save A from x during one of their attempts to fix the situation.

I have more, but I feel like this post is long enough. But yeah. Something something meeting someone in the most chaotic, stupid, and unhinged way gets to me. Like, we’ve all have shared moments with a stranger because we both witnessed something or been involved in something dumb or crazy. Did you think I forgot about it? The Halloween vocaloid playlist is done!! I'll include the links in a reblog so Tumblr doesn't bury the post, there's a YouTube playlist and a Spotify one, the YouTube one being the longer one with nearly 100 songs... yeah, I got carried away lol Reminder for those who have forgotten/not in the know, this playlist starts with cute lighthearted songs about Halloween and monsters, and gets darker in tone and sound the deeper down the playlist you go

I don't want to make the post too long so I'll just include a general content warning for the songs in the playlist, and under the cut I might list all the songs and ramble a bit about what it was like to make the playlist. I hope you enjoy!^^

The playlist has been done for days, I've just been procrastinating on actually making the post until now lmao sorry! I had a lot of fun making the playlist and going through the suggestions, it also made me fall in love with some producers I hadn't paid much attention to before (shout out to all of the people who sent in Babuchan suggestions, as you can see I went down a bit of a Babuchan rabbit hole and added tons of his stuff to the playlist, same for machigerita lol)

I'll admit that one of the reasons the playlist kept getting longer was because I'd look at other creepy/scary vocaloid playlists on YouTube for inspiration, and every time I was nearly done I would write down 20 more songs to check out, which is why it took me a whole month to get this playlist done lol. I hope it was worth it! I'm very pleased with how it all turned out

There were also many songs/producers I really liked but decided not to include in the playlist, for example I found DaijoubuP, who I really like, but I didn't think it fit the vibe of the kind of Halloween playlist I wanted to make, so none of his stuff is in the playlist. Same goes for SEIKAI, his songs sound very creepy but I found the lyrics a bit too dark and I wanted to try to keep the playlist a bit more lighthearted. Maybe I'll make a more general vocahorror playlist sometime to highlight all of these producers' work! Who knows

Something else I realized because of this playlist is my standard for creepy vocaloid music might be a bit different than other people's. I got many Maretu suggestions, and I love the guy and completely understand why some of his music was suggested (such as Coin Locker Baby), but it surprised me just how much I'd see him suggested in the notes of my post or in Spotify playlists, he's never really given me the creeps even with his darker lyrics. Not judging! Just an observation I had

You'll notice that I've been using vocaloid as a bit of an umbrella term, since there are a couple of songs that use UTAU and even Synth-V voicebanks^^

My dear lgbt+ kids, 

I wasn’t sure if I want to name & shame a specific celebrity here because I don’t want to ignite angry fans but I think my point is easier to understand with a real example: 

I used to really like Machine Gun Kelly. His voice was calming to me, I would sometimes put on his music during panic attacks. While I didn’t know much about him, I knew that he survived some difficult times in his life and I felt like it was admirable how he never gave up. Maybe that made his music so soothing to me or it was just that I found it while I needed something to hold on to. In any case, I definitely felt an emotional connection to it - and then I found out about his racist and misogynistic behavior. 

That was a painful discovery! I decided to kick him out of my music app completely, to remove all of his songs from my playlists - I know I would always feel uncomfortable listening to him now and I didn’t want to throw money at someone who says such horrible things. But it wasn’t a “Well, that’s that, let’s move on” type of decision. The emotional connection didn’t fade instantly. I missed his songs and the soothing effect they had on me.

When I look back now, his lyrics actually aren’t that great. I can see some misogyny and other problematic aspects in them now that I was completely blind to while I was still a fan of him. Even apart from that, they just aren’t that deep. I guess I saw more in them than there actually was. So, not a big loss, right? But to be honest, sometimes I still think of a specific melody and go “Huh, why haven’t I heard that song in ages, I used to love it so much… oh, right, because I don’t want to support him anymore”.

Letting go of media you used to love, media that meant something to you emotionally, that sounds so easy but it can be so difficult. And that’s okay. It doesn’t mean I support the problematic behavior or deep down agree with it and it also doesn’t mean I prioritize mediocre music over the safety of people of color and women. I still cut him out while also grieving that emotional connection. 

I wanted to share this because I feel like this aspect often gets lost in discussions about Rowling and other people we don’t want to support. You are allowed to grieve the emotional connection you felt, even when you stop engaging with their stuff. Being sad about the discovery that someone sucks doesn’t make you an apologist or an awful person. “I will stop supporting them” and “Their stuff meant something to me” can coexist.

Summary: you work at the pharmacy in the Fatui. frequent visits of injured people and agents, workers, sometimes the harbingers' themselves. since you have so much work, you get assistant requests. but turns out ur assistant was a lil stupid so you threw them out and scara saw it!

A/n: I got inspired by this one comment on a scara playlist and decides to write a lil something. This is meant to be as scara never thinking of you being mean or hurting anyone, so when he sees you like this, he can't help, but imagine.... aka when he thinks of u being mean he can't stop thinking of you dominating him COUGHOUGHCOUGH

A/n 2: I accidentally posted it while I was editing it GAHHHH tumblr so stupid, just stay on "save draft" not "post" mf!!!!

You were sweet, kind and soft — that's how the people saw you. That's how the fatui saw you. Everyone knew that, especially because you were working in the pharmacy room — you weren't the one with needles, some others were dealing with that. You were like quick care. You get it.

The other harbingers found you reliable, since you would always help and look out for everyone and everything. Scaramouche on the other hand just scoffed every time when you noticed he has some bruises or cuts, whatever.

..That was of course, when he was sitting on the chair in front of you while you inspected them. "Can you not? I've got business to do," he speaks, before hissing when you put a bit of liquid on a cut. "Yeah, let me finish up and you'll be good to go, Scara," you pay no mind, bringing a cotton ball to clean away some blood and the liquid. He would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy this. Your care. Something he ran away from. After a moment, you applied a small bandaid on his cut and threw out the paper and ruined cotton. You smiled at him, "You're good to go!" He rolled his eyes at you, "yeah, right."

Scaramouche got up, fixing his clothes. Then he simply walked away from you, out of the room. He muttered a silent thank you and you caught that, not saying anything. You went to make yourself a tea and look at what else you could do today. There were a few papers on people that wanted to be your assistant in the pharmacy, so you sat down with your tea and started looking through them. That will take a while, so might as well inspect them thoroughly.

.. A few days had passed since you looked through the submissions. You spoke with one of the people, accepting them as your assistant at the pharmacy. You made sure to always remind them where they work and what they need to do. Soon you didn't need to do that at all because they were a good assistant, helping you get the needed medicine or materials, even helping you out by stitching up the Fatui people when you were busy with another or gone on a task. They were reliable and that's what you liked, what you needed for an assistant. You thanked the Archons for finally giving you a good assistant.

Until one day.

You had went out to get a package you had requested, since you were starting to run out of something specific. You let your assistant know and left to get your stuff. It didn't take that much time, so you were soon going back to the place. You open the door, greeting your assistant, saying you're back and that you got what you.. needed...

You stop in your tracks when you notice your assistant making out with a fatui agent. They immediately stopped, your assistant turning to you in shock. You stared. Your assistant quickly got off the agent and smiled at you nervously. "Ah, he came for a check up, had to help him with a few cuts from a fight!" They spoke, while the agent just sat at the bed, not knowing what to do in this situation. Your smile was already gone, "And that check up includes making out on a hospital bed? What, is he your boyfriend?" They went quiet. "Um.. no, he's not-" you watched as they got more nervous. The agent got up, "I have a girlfriend, please don't tell anyone about this." Your eyes widened. Oh my god.

The door wasn't closed because your hands were full, so your yelling echoed through the hallway, gaining attention of the agents and other people that were doing their job or just walking somewhere else. "When I was looking through the applications, I didn't read that you'll be making out with strangers!" You spoke, pointing at the agent and then at the door. He scurried away and you quickly made note of some if his features. Then you turned to your assistant, who was trying to smile at you, explain themselves. "It was just an accident, I was trying to get closer so I could see the bruises on his face-!" They quickly tried to lie their way out.

"You were good for the first.. what? Six days? Oh wow. Impressive," you got more mad, "If I knew you would be a slut, I would have denied you!" There was a crowd forming at the pharmacy entrance, a bunch of whispering, trying to figure out the situation. They were also surprised to see you yelling.

You couldn't believe that you made such a mistake. It made you wonder, the times when you were gone.. were they doing more inappropriate behavior in your pharmacy? Hell no. You brought out a dagger from your desk, immediately walking over to your assistant. They jumped for a moment, about to flee from you, but you caught them by their collar. "I'm really sorry, it won't happen again-!" They quickly said as you were pulling them away. The crowd moved a bit away from the door once they saw you approach. "Of course it won't happen again, because you'll be gone!" You spat, throwing them out the door, onto the floor with a loud thud.

It seems that the commotion had caught the attention of Scaramouche. He was about to yell at the people, but once he saw that they were at the pharmacy, he quickly ran to them. Squeezing through the people, others quickly getting out the way. He spoke loudly, "What the hell is going on?!" He immediately shut up once he noticed your assistant on the ground. His eyes shot up, realizing you're also there. You were glaring down at them.

You stepped closer, your assistant turning on their back and trying to get away, keeping themselves up with their elbows. You pushed your foot on their chest, making them collapse again. Slightly leaning down, pointing the dagger at them, you glared in their eyes.

"If I see your slutty ass in my pharmacy again, I'll dispose of you myself." You warned. They nodded quickly and you took your foot away, telling them to leave. They clumsily got up from the floor, fleeing from the place. You straightened your back, sighing. You looked at the crowd and noticed Scaramouche with his mouth agape, eyes wide. You dropped your dagger in surprise, "Oh, Scara! Did something happen again, you're hurt?" He didn't respond, continuing to stare. "I'm sorry for all the noise, I found out that there were bugs living in the pharmacy, so I had to disinfect the place," you quickly explained, also looking at the crowd with a small smile. You took your dagger off the ground and quickly went to Scara. "Sorry again, the place is safe now, let me give you a check up!" You said, pulling the man in the room by his wrist.

His words caught in his throat as he looked down where you held him, firm grip on him. Scara gazed up at you quickly and then back, warmth filling his face. You sat him down on a chair and went to the door again, telling the people if they don't have any injuries, they should go back to work. You close the door and go back to Scaramouche, putting your dagger away. "Looked like you came in a hurry, are you okay? Some business again?" You asked, leaning down, gazing at his features. He just stared at you, silent. You put a hand to his cheek and then to his forehead.

"As if I can get sick," he groans and you straighten your back, crossing your arms. "Explain the heat then, huh," you say, going to a cabinet. Scara opens his mouth to explain, but he stops. Oh right. He can't just say it's you, can he? So he gets up and walks to the door immediately. You turn around, "Hey, where are you going!" My Street Ramblings

Ok ok ok so @gonedreaminggg put it into words very well when they described My Street characters as more of characters than people. Which is so true!! Like I can list off some personality traits of some characters, but can you honestly tell me what Katelyn really thinks about Zane? Even though they're both main characters?

(Editors note, this post ran the fuck away from me so it's long as fuck sjdfjsdhg)

The problem MS has is that a lot of these characters get boiled down to the silliest, memeist versions of themselves, until Jess did a spin maneuver and made the series a story driven show with a darker tone and promptly crashed her faster car into a brick wall. But even before that happened, a lot of MS characters were lacking because of the forced perspective.

Until the plot shows up in season 4 and mandates characters splitting up constantly, a lot of the series is (sometimes literally) only seen from Aphmau's perspective. If interesting character drama is happening and she isn't around for it, it won't be seen. This was somewhat rectified in Season 5, but it was really too little too late. Because Aphmau has to be around for important stuff to happen, we don't really know the characters on a smaller scale, because the series is allergic to taking things slow.

Imagine an episode that's just watching Nana go through her day. She wakes up, starts making coffee, pulls a blanket over Katelyn who fell asleep on the couch watching K-drama's last night, and then goes outside with her morning coffee, a small breakfast, and sits on her porch and scrolls through Tumblr while people watching.

We follow her taking the bus to get to her barista job, and watch as she goes through an opening shift. Scenes fade showing the different parts of her job, maybe she has to deal with an angry customer and we see how she responds. Maybe while she's working one of her other friends from My Street shows up and gets an order and they have a chat as she's working. We watch the care she puts into it, and how she leaves little positive notes with drawings of cats, hearts, and flowers next to their name on their order.

My Street characters suffer from feeling like they aren't doing anything if the Main Character isn't around. How does Travis like to spend his weekends? We can make headcanons about it, but the show, the actual text, can't answer such a simple question about one of it's main characters.

My Street also suffers from having too many characters, but if the series was willing to slow down, all of them could be given proper time, especially because a lot of characters probably spend time together when Aphmau and Aaron aren't around.

I'm talking about an episode where it opens on Garroth honking his horn, and then Zane comes trudging out of his house, gets in the passenger seat, and lets out a huff. Garroth just gives him the aux cord, and Zane puts on his high school emo playlist he unironically enjoys. Garroth nods along to or even lip-sings some of the song (probably Welcome To The Black parade by MCR, I just know all the Ro'maeve brothers love that song.)

Speaking of which, they then pick up Vylad, and all three of them just go for a drive. Eventually they drive into the country side, pull off, and then turn the car off. Garroth pops open the trunk and the three of them all just chill out on a pile of blankets and pillows that were already there. They sit in silence for a while. Vylad and Zane pass a vape pen around, and every now and then Garroth takes a hit off of it.

Finally they all just talk. About life, about their feelings, about their parents, whatever they can think to talk about. Maybe Garroth brings up some of his gripes about his roommate, or Vylad confesses that they're struggling to figure out how to come out to their parents. This is clearly a routine these three established, and something all three of them greatly appreciate. Garroth and Zane never quite felt like brothers to me, but this? I could see myself doing this with my brother.

And for my final random idea I had while in the shower, I want to talk about Melissa my beloved. A character who only exists to help prop up an already existing character. Melissa has almost no identity outside of being Aaron's Sister. Let me ask you this, what's her job? Without checking the wiki?

My idea is that she works for her parents company, a boring, dreadful, and soul draining office job. It's the same routine day in, day out, nothing changes. Wake up, drive to work, sit at her office for 8 hours, go home, sleep, repeat. Until on Friday, when she's truly had enough, when she's just so tired as she slams the car door as she's getting in her car to leave and hangs her head. She's so exhausted, so drained, so miserable. Her moment of anguish is interrupted by her phone playing a stupid love song, and you can just see her face relax the minute she hears it.

She answers the phone, puts it on speaker, and sets it up on a stand in her car. Her relaxed expression turns into a love struck grin, her ears relax, and her tail starts wagging the minute she hears her girlfriend Lucinda's voice. After the drudgery of every single day being the same, just hearing her voice is like medicine to Melissa.

And then the two talk the entire time Melissa is driving to Lucinda's, and they're so so so gay when they see each other in person. They both get dolled up and flirt like dorks the entire time, and then we get a montage of them going out clubbing, singing karaoke, and getting white girl wasted despite neither of them being white.

My Street characters don't feel like people because they're not. They're mostly one dimensional characters who exist to fill out a roster or scene, and we get depressingly little insight into who they are as people.

I hope this post gave them and the MS fandom something to chew on.
