I just think a late seasons Cas-centric episode would have slapped so hard.

It would have been so interesting to see life in and around the Bunker from his perspective

Like c’mon there are so many possibilities:

He gets a phone call from Claire. He spends time with Jack. Watches. movies. with. Dean!!! He has an existential crisis when he looks in the mirror while everyone in the bunker is asleep. Cleans his angel blade (it doesn't need cleaning). He listens to Angel Radio for a while. He casually heals Dean's heartburn from his bacon pancake breakfast (he has no idea how often Cas does this) (did he really think he wouldn't be suffering with indigestion regularly with the diet he eats at his age). Tries on all sorts of other clothes in a 90s style montage before he puts the suit and coat back on and nobody will ever know.

It's like, he's got this whole other life going on parallel to Sam and Dean's and they just, have no idea what he gets up to all day when he's not actively working with them on a case or researching with them and it is Fascinating

once cass says he loves sam and dean, (mary, jack, all of them too) in season 12/13, he says it so much. sam and dean don’t often or really ever say ‘i love you,’ but cass does. he constantly pledges his loyalty to the winchesters and professes his love for them. it always gets me when he referee to them as “the people i love,” because he’s so blatant. he doesn’t hesitate to say it. ever.

idk this always just makes me so sad??? who knows!

Sleepless nights with Cas

Pairing: Castiel x reader (gender neutral) To be honest I consider Cas Gender Neutral for all that that they are an angel and technically angels have no gender, you know. But for this, as Cas is in Jimmy's body imma use he/him pronouns. Warnings: none Masterlist

Although Castiel doesn’t require sleep, he is still very sympathetic when you suffer from a bout of insomnia.During one of your many -emphasis on many- sleepless nights, Cas flutters to your side, and instantaneously kicks off his shoes before laying his warm trench coat over your shoulders.

Knowing that you are soothed by his minty scent, the angel climbs beside you in bed, and pulls you to snuggle into his firm chest.

He comforts you, speaking calmly in enochian, before protectively cocooning his feathered, onyx wings around your body.

You vocalize your wishes to repay the favor, knowing full well that you may never get the opportunity; however, Cas just chuckles, leaning down to nuzzle his nose into your hair.

“I am your guardian angel, pure and bright. I will protect you as you sleep tonight.” he would begin, reciting a poem that he had memorized specifically for these frequent occasions. “I love you, [Y/N]. Sleep well.”

A/N: I wanna really get back on my feet when it comes to writing this year (happy new year's by the way!!) And what better way to start than headcanos? Not proofread and typed on my phone so probably much typos!

• I wanna start ou saying how adorable it would be helping him out to understand humanity!

• Just imagine in the morning he asking you for help to start the toaster cause he have no idea how but he knows he likes his bread toasted!

• once he got the hang of it better tho he would spoil you as best as he could with his limited skills and his clumsiness

• he'd make you a pbj every single time he makes one for himself,cause if he feels hungry he bet you does too

• becoming human would also make him so much more empathetic than he already is when it comes to you being hurt

•the tiniest scratch on you and he's fumbling with the first aid kit

•would be the CEO of taking care of you when you're on your period! Makes sure you drink plenty of water,gives you medicine for your cramps and eagerly massages every teensy part of your body

•confused anytime you make and obscure pop culture reference, giving you a more than glad excuse to introduce him to some of your favourite films

•i know this man loves gossip,so fill him in on every little drama happening everywhere,would listen to you babble about celebrity drama for hours

•when everything was set and he came back to the bunker he was sharing a room with you,and it was just an angelical drop on your girly room

• so you took him to a target to let him get a piece of decoration to make it sure it's his room too! He chose a bee plushie cause he's still fascinated by them<3

• honey would be his pet name for you,he thinks it's classic and still sustains his love for bees and for you

• your kisses are the only thing to make him relax when he's nervous or overthinking,he loves forehead kisses more than anything!

• he doesn't have much things but loves sharing what he has with you

• he's a true gentleman and always let you use his trenchcoat when it's windy

•loves loves loves holding hands!

• he loves being in contact with nature so expect a lot of outdoor dates like picnics or hikes

•is ridiculously gentlemanly, opens car doors for you,grabs your hands when you're coming down the stairs, and things like that

• his biggest role models to be a good boyfriend are things like really old black and white romances and radio novels

• as much as he doesn't say so he misses his angel days dearly,so the way to compensate it is telling you every single story of his celestial days

• he gives you a feather of his wings like a prized possession,as a reminder he'll always be with you with powers or not

•OMG WHEN HE DISCOVERS WHAT A CUDDLE IS!!! you're obligated to sleep flushed to his chest every night or else he wont have a good night sleep

•if you get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom or have a glass of water he will just follow you and wait for you staring at you like a cat with his sleepy eyes

• I feel like one day out of the blue he'll just randomly ask you to marry him

• when got confused and startled by his question he just said he thought that's what he did when humans loved each other

•long story short as soon as there's not an impending apocalypse you plan on tying the knot!

•the time of most happiness in his millenniums of life having a domestic life with you was his favourite thing

Okay I'm late to the party and you don't have to post this, but oh my god, your sharing is caring series was SO CUTE! I read all three and I am absolutely in love with how natural each one flowed and how realistic the characters seemed?? Like they were so distinctively themselves, and I feel like it is so hard to grasp certain personalities in oneshots, but you really did it! The part when castiel grabs the readers hand and tells them that this is not nothing had me screaming tbh. They were so sweet and peaceful and warmed my heart. You're never too late! I absolutely love and appreciate your kind words, as I had so much fun writing that little series. 🥰

For "Sharing Is Caring" -- and when I write each of the guys in general -- I really feel like Sam, Dean, and Cas would be attracted to certain personalities different from one another. So I tried to make that aspect come across in each of the readers.

For example, my headcanon for Castiel is he'd need someone who's more assertive and/or opinionated, since he's pretty stoic, and may even be more passive as a partner... Also, he needs someone playful enough to get him out of his shell. 😂

Sam's similar, in that he's a more even-keel guy. I feel like he might appreciate someone more bubbly and effervescent (love that word lol). Just look at that soft boi. 💛

Whereas Dean...I think he needs someone who can match his energy, while still keeping him on his toes at times. 😏

(If there's one thing Dean likes besides his pie and his Baby, it's a challenge. 😂)

The first time it happened, Cas almost convinced Dean that it hadn’t.

It was a hazard of the job that hunting ghosts inevitably led to grimy, abandoned, pile of crap houses that looked like a vengeful spirit’s wet dream. Full of rotted wood, endless layers of dust, and freaking spiders. Dean had probably seen more spiders than anyone ever should. But it was fine, because he wasn’t scared of them – he didn’t think there was a hunter alive who could do what they do and go where they go if they were – spiders were just a nuisance. A pest of the ghost-hunting variety. Dean thought nothing of wiping them from his hands or clothes or pushing through thick webs that always seemed to get everywhere.

So, when he noticed a particularly leggy spider creeping over the spikes of Cas’s hair during a hunt, of course he was going to brush it away.

Nobody wants a spider in their hair. Angel or not.

It hadn’t even been that much of a touch.

The two of them had been searching through what remained of the rotted kitchen cabinets while Sam looked upstairs, when Dean noticed the spider. In retrospect, maybe he should have said something first, but Cas had been engrossed in the contents of an old wooden drawer and Dean’s hand had simply twitched up to brush away the eldritch creature nesting in Cas’s hair before he’d even registered what he was doing.

Cas jumped violently as soon as Dean’s fingers made contact.

The single bare light bulb in the room hummed loudly as it flared and flickered. An old radio (covered in layers of years of grime and dust) crackled to life, despite being long disconnected from the power, and poured out a steady stream of static.

Then everything stopped.

The light returned to normal, the radio went silent, and Dean’s hand remained hovered awkwardly in the air where it had been since he brushed the spider away.

Cas stared at him with wide eyes.

Dean pointed at Cas’s head. “There was a- spider. In your hair,” he explained. “But uh- don’t worry, I got it.” Dean flashed him a smile, as if he’d performed a great service, and wiped his hand on his jeans. He took a step over to the radio and held up the disconnected cable. “Cas. The power just now-”

“Bad wiring,” Cas rumbled, holding Dean’s gaze. “Or maybe the ghost.”

Dean gave an unconvinced hum as he dropped the cable and rubbed his fingertips together. Cas’s hair had been softer than he’d expected… Not that he’d ever thought about running his hands through it or anything. But before Dean could linger on any of the new thoughts he was having, or ask another question about the mysterious power surge, the air had gone cold, and they were both ducking from a barrage of decorative plates flying around the room.

And Dean forgot all about it.

SPN (some) characters as college/high school students?

A/N: Sorry this just popped up and I wanted to post it.. I might make a part 2 of maybe Lucifer, Crowley, Gabriel and Charlie? (if I can)

Dean Winchester

-> school playboy, everyone knows him. he's always the talk of the every single class?? also known for going for sports competitions and always winning them..

-> art major. (i don't know, i just see it happening- and it's just a headcanon I have for no reason..)

-> takes PE (physical education) and he aces the practical part, and gets average marks for the theory part.

-> doesn't like humanities... maybe history? if needed.

-> forced to take biology and chemistry, better than physics though?? he aces bio and gets average marks for chem.

-> if there was latin/language classes, he'd take it.

-> does not like maths, he hates it. but he still gets around 60%-70% for his math exams.

-> law? if that's a thing, he would take it. Sam Winchester

-> literal nerd of the school, popular for being smart in all his subjects and going for speaking/debating, maths, sciences, musical competitions and so on.

-> not so much of an art guy (sorry, sam.)

-> however, he is musically talented in my headcanon so he'd take up music for hobbies.

-> HUMANITIES BOY. LOVES HUMANITIES: BUSINESS, ECONOMICS, GEOGRAPHY, HISTORY, EVERYTHING.

-> takes physics, biology and chemistry (yes, all of them). and he aces all of them.

-> again, if language classes were up for grab- he wouldn't mind going (why not..)

-> he's okay with maths, doesn't hate it, doesn't like it

-> would take PE if he could, doesn't feel like it though so he doesn't.

Castiel

-> "isn't he the school's playboy's boyfriend?" well known as the quiet one and the boyfriend of the school's playboy (dean). he's just very quiet in class and everywhere.

-> loves art, good in it. likes to draws humans, animals.

-> musically talented (yep!!), good at playing the piano, drums, trumpet and flute. so he's defo in music class.

-> not much of a humanities person, he does take economics, geography and history though.

-> takes biology only.. not interested in chemistry and physics + too many subjects. (aces bio btw)

-> alright with maths, actually passes (50-70%), but doesn't like it.

-> he takes PE. he aces the practical and theory part of the exam. he's good in a lot of things, basically.

Research

Whenever they have to do research for a monster they don't know about, Cass prefers to research with Sam and then tell Dean what they found out later. But If Dean asks Cass to research with him he will, its just takes a bit longer because Dean gets sidetracked a lot.

Castiel can read a book by just touching it and absorbing the knowledge, but he chooses to read books normally because once when Cass was looking through the books in the bunker, and found an old diary. It was awkward in the bunker for a bit. He now only uses that ability when he wants to do quick research.

Sam reads a lot of books about different languages, so whenever he hears the languages he gets excited. It's also helpful when he's doing research and one of them comes up.
