My baby boy Henry V! Aka an au turned oc who most of his development happened in a discord server. A friend posted the link to the @small-artist-oc-showdown and I decided, why not? Will I get in? Who the heck knows but either way it's getting me to actually post instead of idly scroll

He's a little guy who may or may not have reality warping powers... among other things! He can make oatmeal raisin into choccy chip! He is willing to befriend all sorts of creatures! And he has many other littler aus too!

I'm currently rotating Val in my brain's michael wave thanks to the @homemadegirlbossbattle so y'all are getting the story of Val's eleven step plan to kick the Queen Bee's reputation out from under her in One Week.

To begin with, some context. Val had recently come to a new school after some ~shenaniganery~ (she killed a guy with a poisoned drink) at her old school and almost as soon as she arrives it's announced that there's going to be a party that Friday. All good things, right? Wrong! Neurotoxin! (I promise that's relevant.) Over the week leading up to the party, Val heard from various sources that the school's Queen Bee, Heather, was trying to get rid of something. Val was pretty convinced it was something super suspicious, since there was some supernatural bullshit going on, so she did the obvious thing and started spreading the rumour that Heather was getting rid of a picture of her in a bunny suit (as one does). You can imagine her dismay when it turned out that what Heather was trying to get rid of was Val. In a delightful twist of dramatic irony, every single other player character found this out before Val did, and only Val's paranoia about getting spiked saved her from accepting a poisoned drink. This is of course when the guy who tried to spike her collapsed to the ground and Val had to save his life by making him throw up (as one does). She found out pretty quickly that Heather had orchestrated all of this, activating Val's Lust For Revenge. After having one weekend to recover, it was time to enact a plot.

When enacting revenge you need to know two things. 1: What your target's weaknesses are. 2: What weaknesses of yours they can exploit. Step one was to begin taking care of these in one fell swoop, by beginning to spread the rumour that her devoted clique is involved in cult things at her behest, and Church-Going Heather Chase has a genuine belief in pagan supernatural magics. Damage her credibility, make people scared of her clique, and shield Val from attacks. Heather can't expose Val as a witch if people believe Heather's going insane, after all. The next steps, therefore, are to make it seem more like she's going insane.

Step two is setup: Steal some of Heather's shit. Breaking into her locker didn't help, nor did going through her bag during PE. Going into her classroom to go through her unattended bag while faking illness (as one does) would have worked, but possession things got in the way. Fortunately, step three (break into her house and steal shit) was made very easy by the recent acquisition of another kleptomaniac friend. Val was now armed with four (4) things she could use to target Heather with spells, and oh boy would she use them.

Steps four and five: Begin cursing. At this point Val had taught herself a lovely new hex, with which she can make people hallucinate. The order would go like this: after school, while Heather is in a student council meeting, make her start seeing occult signs and supernatural activity so she would think someone had infiltrated the council, and then the following day make her hear people whispering about her so she would think one of them had betrayed her. Heather's power comes from her clique, and if she can't trust her lieutenants then who can she trust? More importantly, maybe Val could convince her lieutenants to not trust her, enabling steps six and seven.

This was the plan.

What Val did not plan for was her first hallucination spell not just affecting Heather, but the entire clique. The entire clique that Darcy, another player character and more importantly an ex-infernalist, is technically part of. Suddenly seeing demonic visions was understandably terrifying for her, and the player (@bubbleteaacadamia my beloved) decided to go completely over the top with the visions and Darcy's horribly traumatised responses to them. Needless to say, Val found the entire incident absolutely hilarious, especially considering how much more effective it made the spell. She is yet to apologise for this, but she has offered to allow Darcy to punch her for it (as one does).

At this point steps six and seven got a little bit waylaid by the Psychic Doublebird Reacharound, so we're skipping straight ahead to step eight: The Migraine Spell. As I mentioned in a previous post, the Migraine Spell is what Val calls a fun little hex that causes a painful ringing in the ears of its target whenever they try to lie. It can range from irritating for small lies to passing out or permanent brain damage for reeeally big ones. Using the setup from steps one to five, Val planned to use the Migraine Spell as the last thing supplementing step nine: publicly confront Heather at lunch, in front of the entire school, about her weird behaviour, her supernatural beliefs, and her attempt to have Val killed. Without the ability to lie about any of it, Heather could be baited into admitting that the rumours are true. She does believe in the supernatural. She has been seeing demonic visions. She even thinks people in this school are supernatural creatures and that deranged belief is why she tried to have Val killed.

You can imagine Val's dismay when the spell failed. Step ten (try to bait Heather into lashing out so she could be branded a psychopath) was out, but step nine and hopefully step eleven (watch the fireworks as Heather's pedestal crumbles beneath her) were still salvageable. With a public confrontation and some really fun rp between me and the gm, Val may not have been able to entirely collapse Heather's reputation but she was able to do more damage in a single week than anyone else has managed at all, and it has all been motivated by pure revenge. All she has to do now is make another plan that builds on the aftermath of this one and that can weave between dealing with an elder god, trying not to incur the wrath of a half-angel, and a promise she was forced to make to a fae that she would focus on other things for a bit. As one does.

Welcome to the One Piece Ship War - crack edition!

What is a crack ship?

A crack ship is a (in this case romantic/sexual) ship that has little to no basis in canon.

When will my ship qualify for this tournament?

They will automatically qualify (after having been submitted) when:

The characters involved have NO canon interaction*, and are not part of the same crew (no matter how popular the ship is).

The characters involved have 1 short canon interaction and less than 10 fics for them on AO3 (as a side pairing counts too)

They might qualify if:**

They have no canon interaction but are part of the same crew or organisation.

They have 1 short canon interaction but more than 10 fics on AO3

They have 1 long canon interactions or 2/3 short ones and less than 10 fics on AO3

They have multiple canon interactions but NO fics on AO3

It's an incredibly funny ship (but you gotta convince me it's crack!)

These ships will not qualify on principal:

ANY ship between Strawhats (honorary Strawhats don't count if they haven't met a certain Strawhat - examples: BrookNami does not qualify, SanjiVivi does not qualify, but BrookVivi would qualify)

The top 25 ships (or something, be sensible) on AO3.

*canon interactions include fillers, cover stories, specials, and movies (though I haven't seen the last 2 yet and I don't remember much of the other ones, so these might slip through, but I'm counting on you to honor this rule). Also, I won't know nor check interactions in the manga (that haven't been animated yet), so something might slip through there as well. Just honor the rules, please.

**Any ships in the 'might qualify' category will be judged on crackyness by me first, and when I'm in doubt, I will put them up for a vote - so expect a few polls for this.

Rules!

All characters must be from One Piece (no OCs).

Must be a crack ship according to above guidelines.

Ships that were in the previous shipping war tournament are allowed in this one too, as long as they follow the previous rule.

No moral limitations. These are fictional characters, not real people. Go wild. (But be prepared for 'problematic' ships to be voted out in round 1 or 2.) I will not start discourse/moral discussions about any ships! (messages about morally questionable ship are likely to be ignored and deleted)

Poly ships are allowed! I will cap them at 5 characters, however, and at least 1 character should follow the interaction rules stated above. (examples: JinbeRobinBrook or KidLawLu are not allowed. RobinNamiKiller would be allowed, on grounds of Killer having no interactions with the other 2 (I think? 😂)) Again, be sensible here.

All characters involved have to be humanoid. No concepts, objects, or full animals (fishmen/merfolk, minks, and Chopper are allowed).

You can submit multiple ships, but use a new form for each ship.

Do not hate on other ships, just support your own.

You are allowed and encouraged to submit fanart! As a lot of these ship won't have official art with all characters in it, it will come down to fanart for the most of it ((bad) edits are also very much allowed). However, it needs to be your own or you need permission from the artist before submitting it! However, if you haven't gotten permission yet when submitting, you can always send me a link to the fanart later. Without picture submitted, there might be a chance your ship will have to compete without a picture.

Keep the main images SFW and spoiler free. Propaganda can contain nsfw stuff and manga spoilers, as long as it's announced up front (eg: [Spoilers ahead]/[nsfw ahead])

Submit only through the google form below. Submisions through asks or reblogs will not be accepted.

The icon is of the Pokemon Bouffalant and Natu, based on a series of trading card art where Bouffalant finds two Natu and rescues them - the true spirit of found family. The header is a group of characters called the Black Ravens from the Professor Layton series - a group of ragtag working-class kids who make a black market together Q. I wrote some propaganda on the submission form, can you post it or send it back to me? A. Submissions are deleted as the polls are posted, so I can keep track of how many I have left to post, which means I can't do this. Please save your propaganda for the post and not the submissions form Q. Did you know you used fan art on ___ poll? A. Unless I'd mentioned getting permission from the artist, then please assume that I did not know and let me know. I hate art theft and wouldn't want to partake in that, but I'm just not familiar with a good 80% of the series submitted, so sometimes it might slip through the cracks Q. Can I submit a character who isn't my blorbo? A. Also fine! I enjoy it when people submit controversial characters to see how they'll do Q. What happens if there's a tie? A. The blorbo in question becomes an occassional family member who appears with our found family for some important cutscenes, but isn't officially considered part of the found family

Q. No, but seriously, my blorbo got ditched. Do they get another chance? A. At the beginning of each year we host a Redemption Event, where any past blorbos who were submitted get another chance. Because of the high volume of ditched characters, to be included in the event, your character will need to be submitted with propaganda via a form that will be released about a month before the event Q. I think the image used is a big reason why my blorbo got ditched. Why did you use that image? A. If an image hasn't been submitted, I will just grab one from an image search result in most cases. You know your blorbos best, so if you have a specific (non-fan art) image that you think shows them in their best light, please do submit it when you submit them Q. Did you mean the book version or movie version of that character? A. Whichever version of the blorbo that gets submitted, that'll be the one I use. If no specific version is mentioned, I'll just post that blorbo in general and use whatever image is most common when I look them up, unless an image has been submitted or a book cover has been requested to be used Q. My blorbo is a character played by a youtuber and/or streamer, not the youtuber or streamer themselves, is that okay? A. If it's a character, then it's fine. But please mention this on the submission. Because if I look them up and the result looks to be just some real person, that won't be included. I am largely unfamiliar with these kind of fandoms and will always err on the side of caution about their inclusion Q. What counts as a "sweep"? A. Any character who gets 90% or higher in either joining or not joining is counted as a sweep. This doesn't give them anything extra, it's just for bragging rights Q. What counts as a "close call"? A. Any character who's poll results are within the 49%-51% range for join/don't join is counted as a close call Q. How many characters can I submit at a time? A. There's no hard rule, since the form doesn't track emails, but please be considerate to others and try not to submit more than 10 characters per submission period. See next question for more details Q. How many characters from the same series can I submit at a time? A. Four (4) characters per series per submission period. I'll be lenient for if they've been submitted by multiple people, but from my experience running this blog, it's only the current Hot New Thing that'll be submitted by multiple people and anything else is usually one person submitting one character after another. I used to allow more, but people took this for granted and submitted 50+ from the same series, so now 4 is the cap Q. You missed a tag from that poll! Can it be added? A. Sure! Tags are either provided by the submitter or where left blank, I'll use my best guess. At minimum, you'll get the name of the character and series as they've been submitted. Honest to god i don't remember his canon personality💀💀

Basically,he's a jerk. A little dipshit who will cause trouble with his tricks and pranks,especially if he doesn't like you. At first glance he's quite mean and sarcastic,buuut if he finds you cool enough/gets attached he's a whole different person(totally not projecting onto him rn)

Once he actually likes someone enough to consider them a friend,he's much kinder and sweeter.

He's pretty caring actually

He will hold back on his mean and sarcastic comments..unless you're into that

He tries ANYTHING to keep his friends close,literally anything. Magic tricks,jokes,drowning them with candy and affection,tieing them up in his circus so they can't leave,the usual things

He has trouble understanding emotions in general,especially other people's,and has trouble managing his own,ESPECIALLY his anger and saddness

Terrible,horrible abandonment and attachment issues

He's very impulsive,he usually does/says things without thinking them through first(again totally not projecting)

I'll dare to say that my version of LJ has Borderline personality disorder

Idk if this counts to personality or no but my man is touch starved. Touch him once and he won't let go of you

Scratches himself a lot,especially when he's uncomfortable or nervous...and since he has sharp claws they leave marks(that's why his arms and stomach are wrapped up)

Used to be ashamed of his freckles so he covered them up with makeup(not anymore tho :3)

His favourite candies are lollipops

Dark humor is his favourite thing in the world

my man can stretch his limbs as long as possible,comes in handy when he's lazy to get up to grab something

His british accent comes out when he talks too fast

Throws around medival knight words for fun/to annoy others

He has a circus :^D

And in that circus he has little ghost kids running around(he won't admit but he's kinda like a father figure to them)

He has a little doll collection at his circus

He mostly kills kids between the ages of 10 and above,unless the kid is like extra annoying or something

Like i mentioned before,he's terrified of abandonment

Claustrophobia. Specifically he's terrified of small spaces(thanks to being locked in a small box for god knows how long)

Meparik is many things! He is a feyrie, a pickpocket, a sign-language user, a voracious reader, and an accidental religious leader. He understands more of the political goings-on of his realm than most adults do, and profusely hates the gods for it. His bedraggledness is matched only by that of his best friend (unwilling messiah lesbian). Gaze upon the child, your honor. Do you feel it? The desire to feed him warm soups and wrap him up in a cozy blanket? I rest my case, your honor. I rest it well.

Nat Finch (he/him) @albatris: I'd like to submit Nat Finch! he/him, 25 years old, brand new baby vampire. he works the night shift at dodgy petrol and convenience store Stop 'N' Go, where he falls asleep on the clock and encourages shoplifting. he's schizotypal like me and he loves cats, cooking, and his friends! he's the protagonist of my campy gory horror trilogy, though he'd rather not be!

he's short and fat with red eyes and lots of freckles. his hair is long and black, often uneven and choppy in length, because he just cuts tangles out instead of untangling them ❤

he's a sweet boy, earnest boy, awkward boy; he doesn't have many friends at the start of the story due to his paranoia, psychosis, and social anxiety, but by the end of it has a whole bunch of good friends AND a kitty he adores named Grub who purrs like a faulty tractor

in this story vampirism is a sentient entity and all connected via a hivemind known as "the Garble".... it lives in the vampires' blood and can manipulate their thoughts as well as give them heightened strength and speed, claws and fangs, and night vision when they need it. it can be useful, but mostly it's a bully and an inconvenience

sorry if this has been asked before or clarified, but what exactly counts as propaganda? can it just be an art piece relating to the character, or does it have to be directly related to the tourney itself? Sorry, just want to make sure I'm doing this right...

made by you (you cannot post just a youtube link to a song, for instance, unless you made the song or made a video to the song!)

appropriately warned in the post and with content under a read-more if it contains sensitive materials, like violence

featuring a tournament character. doesn't even have to be your own!

it does not have to be about a "tournament story" and your OC does not have to be "at the tournament" or present in a tournament related universe. it just has to get your character in front of potential voters; the idea is to try and get folks to care about your oc so that your oc will win their votes when the time comes!

Erina is SO MUCH MORE than just a "Generic Love Interest" that was brought in the story to continue the bloodline after everything that happens (and it's made abundantly clear time and time and TIME AGAIN that she means everything to Jonathan, to a point that she was his exact reason to standing up against Dio for the first time) but without fail she's only ever allowed to be the supportive best friend. Or a wingman for Jonathan and whoever he's being shipped with. Or simply supposed to sit there and allow her husband to have a male lover (the amount of posts I've seen of ppl using the excuse that 'it was very common back in the Victorian Era for men to keep male lovers that their wives were aware of and quietly accepted so it isn't a stretch to say that Erina and Jonathan wouldn't be the same--especially given how progressive she's written". Or of course my favorite when they completely erase her from the narrative and pretends she doesn't exist Jonathan's got their son for some reason, but nope she ain't there! 

a lot of times ppl who ship her CANON HUSBAND jonathan joestar with speedwagon will put her on the back burner of HER OWN CANON RELATIONSHIP in favor of propping up jonawagon, to the point where 90% of the archive for jonawagon/jonawagon(eri) is either erina giving jonathan and speedwagon consent to be happy together while she acts like a #LoveIsLove wingman OR they'll have the audacity to write fics where erina comforts speedwagon at HER HUSBAND'S FUNERAL

Our hero’s hot wife who was the first (and arguably) only person to give him the emotional support he needed. She’s the only person who never expects him to fulfill some mythical role, she just loves him for who he is. She’s been his best friend and the love of his life since he was 12 years old. When it comes to hero/sidekick ship, she’s forced to be a wing woman for her own husband, either nobly letting him go or peacefully agreeing to an open relationship but only for him!!! She gets nothing out of it, she’s just a good Victorian wife who is “ahead of her time”. Usually, just so she can provide a womb so that the hero/sidekick can be dads and she can conveniently be offscreen. OR she’s written as a lesbian in order to completely and “justifiably” take her out of the equation but there’s a.) no other woman in her vicinity to even ship her with b.) there’s vaguely some faceless, nameless woman we’re meant to assume she’s pursuing, not even a real OC for her.

she kissed will graham in s1 and dated hannibal in s2 so you can imagine how bad the fandom is to her. fun fact she's in a canon lesbian relationship now tho <3

The show literally does the yaoi treatment of victimisation for the benefit of the male leads to her. And then the fandom mistreats her

I'm not sure if this even counts but...Literally a victim of Yaoi along with several other characters in-series, but she got it almost the worst. The entire show is just people dying because the two male leads are OBSESSED with each other and can't be normal about anything. Alana Bloom, actual PhD of psychology and consultant to the FBI, got kissed by one guy, fucked and fed people-meant by the other, and pushed out a window by the murder husbands' forced-surrogate daughter. Like. Actual victim of several crimes caused by yaoi. She's probably one of the few examples of a Yaoi Victim overcoming and evolving past her yaoi-related trauma into a stronger person/character, though: She gets an entire character overhaul and a hot, millionairess for a wife. She kills a man with an eel. She becomes head of the BSHCI, effectively putting her in complete power over her jackass cannibal ex-bf. She does quite well. Unfortunately, the rest of her screen time is spent trying not to get killed in the ongoing fallout of Hannibal and Will's fucked up courtship, but hey. Can't have everything. I don't even know if I'm saying anything valid here: the fandom loves her, but I supposed her position outside of the Hannigram relationship relegates her to a non-subject in a lot of Hannigram-focused fanwork. She's an 'obstacle' to their relationship only in the sense that Will had a crush on her once that went nowhere and Hannibal started an actual relationship with her SPECIFICALLY to piss off Will. I guess she's also a more literal obstacle as Hannibal's jailer and Will's friend who's constantly pointing out to him that Morals exist and he should try having some of those, maybe.

I can list at least three full animatics for this song for every major fandom I have ever been a part of, and still it's so hard to find them because there are so goddamn many

It's an absolute banger from the absolute King Alan Menken, originally from the pretty underrated Tangled the Series. I've seen animatics for this for like every fandom I can think of, and it deserves it because it slaps and has great vocal performances from Jeremy Jordan and Eden Espinosa.

i'm pretty sure this song is more well known than the show it came from is lol. i looked up "ready as i'll ever be animatic" on youtube just to confirm and counted 20+ of them, and i didn't even finish scrolling. it is a genuinely really good song from a /surprisingly/ good show that imo is super underrated. i definitely would recommend checking it out if you get the opportunity!

it's a fandom song that transcended its fandom and became a hit for twist villains.

The song really fosters creativity with how many animatics can create a darker AU where the usual protagonist (or a close associate) is made to be the antagonist because of injustice suffered and the other characters have to fight against them

I've seen *at least* one animatic of this song in almost every fandom I've looked into

It has a lot of Animaniacs because it is sung by an ensemble cast It is good for demonstrating a lot of different conflicting perspectives of characters for your big dramatic fight and its catchy and I love it

I mean everyone loves a scenario where one of the main cast becomes a villain for tragic reasons and the rest of the characters have to fight them while dealing with the betrayal and attempting to make them see reason

How in the actual hell does a song from a Tangled spinoff series go this spectacularly hard? More to the point, how does it have an animatic/AMV for practically EVERY FANDOM IN EXISTENCE?! Yeah, most people know it from that one Warrior Cats MAP, but there is SO much more. Not to mention the bucketloads of people who used this song for their own OCs, which is always a bonus.

🤥 LYING - are they good liars? do they have tells to show they're lying?

Izzy can lie, but doesn't want to! People mostly can't tell she's lying unless she lets them know, and she will snap and admit bullshit because of the pure discomfort. She just prefers to be direct! The one successful lie she committed to was pretending to join the League on their own terms, hiding that her true motivation was to study whatever weird "filth" Valtr was raving about and hopefully benefit from it!

☀️ SUN - are they a morning person? what is the first thing they do in the morning?

Izzy's mornings are normally long and idle, she takes her sweet time to "properly" wake up always chilling for some more time in bed, combing her hair, thinking about her dreams, then napping some more but in another spot.. After her waking up add 1-2 hours until she actually wake up for the day (unless there is emergency). When that happens, she washes her face with a cold water. She also stretches the same way cats do xD

🕷️ SPIDER - what is their biggest fear? do they have any irrational / mundane fears?

Izzy is, in fact, scared OF irrational people! Not something most people expect from someone so beasthood-affiliated, but Izzy has plenty of logic and reason. Dangerous people that can yet provide her a coherent idea of their reasoning and motivation like Laurence (or Micolash before his 'fanatic' era) don't bother her beyond being ideological enemies. People like Logarius, Ludwig or the Choirlings, on the other hand, put a pit in her stomach...

She conquered her fears to the point of being reasonably careful to not get herself harmed and killed and will turn tail if being shot at or threatened by a much stronger enemy without a damage for her pride. What counts as 'worst nightmare' is being bewitched by a Great One to the point of losing freedom and self, similarly to how Ludwig, Micolash and many Choirlings got charmed by their guy (well, girl). Thankfully, she is associated with Fauna the Great One beast that is more cooperative and on the contrary honours autonomy; even speaking or fighting in sync with him feels for her like it makes her more, not less.

🙉 HEAR-NO-EVIL - what is the worse thing your oc could hear from someone?

You should NEVER let her be aware that she is not as different from Laurence as she thinks she is. At some point Izzy does become aware and both him and Laurence are very far gone, but do NOT tell her this before she is 'ready' :')

🎭 MASKS - do they act differently around certain people? what's different between the way they act around friends, family, strangers, etc.?

Izzy is rather insolent around his 'ideological enemies' and likes to troll them for a good measure when he isn't busy trying to make them THINK, very on-edge and aggressive around 'fanatic' type of enemies that scare her, both friendly and pulling the over-familiar rudeness with strangers. With friends she is very caring and understanding, even if she might be rude or abrasive without meaning to hurt them (simply very open, honest and emotional). She could not bring herself to hurt a friend even if they ditch her or straight up betray her, the worst she will do is to have a kicked puppy attitude... But her friendship is hard to earn.

He tends to give a thought to societal rejects and straight up "bad" people, not in Djura's 'we all might end up like this tho :(' kind way but in 'I believe what we hate is natural for humans' way.. This trait of his strongly accelerated ever since Healing Church started propaganda and amount of declared "heretics" increased. When Izzy crushes on someone she doesn't know what to 'do' about it and simply shows more affection to this person... She doesn't even bother with confession, let alone understanding how relationship and dating works! But when someone attracts her sexually, she will be open with her.. uhhh, compliments, let's call it that. 98% of his family memories and interactions are his father and Izzy really resents him.

☁️ CLOUD - a soft headcanon

Izzy was the second person that accepted Garlan (Suspicious Beggar) for who he really is, a rare person with Loran descent that was born with beastly traits lurking. First was his father, lurking as kind of a Loran Cleric but electric-leaning rather than fire. Izzy and Garlan liked having friendly fights with scratching and biting, like kittens xD Also, when Garlan devolved into a beast form, Izzy enjoyed scratching his belly :3

💢 ANGER - what are some habits they have that will take some getting used to?

He is a very pragmatic, often cynical man, taking calculated risks and only bothering investing emotions and time in "worthy" people. This can make people, even his friends, develop very negative impression of him and think he is an adaptable rat with no morals that just joins the winning side or the one useful for him. It would take time to internalise that he is more complex than this and does have a heart. People need quite a heart-to-heart, or to see him beat the shit out of someone that hurt his friend, to lessen the negative opinion unless they're basically mind-readers hahah. He also might be a bit snappy and rude when he is strongly focused on something, which is unbearable when you NEED to tell him something!

😨 FEARFUL - when scared, do they go into "flight" or "fight"?

He tends to retreat to calm down his senses and figure an efficient way to eliminate the threat. 'Fight or flight' refers to state of anxiety transcending rational thinking and it is extremely hard to get him be like this! But if it happens, he will rather flight.

🙈 SEE-NO-EVIL - whats a side of your oc that they don't want to show other people?

He doesn't like to show his emotional side, that he is not always so collected and pragmatic and still has weaknesses. It is one thing to need to communicate that he does have morals and heart despite using what opportunities he has, and will cheat his principles when someone genuinely needs to be punished. But it is another thing to admit that these seized, hidden emotions can be STRONG, and that he struggles all the time.

🌱 SEEDLING - what is their most vivid memory from childhood?

He witnessed a person getting struck by lightning. And not only he was fascinated, but also afterwards was a bit too eager to see the corpse with fascinating scars. He remembers both the event itself, and the reaction he received from others telling him what callous, cruel, crazy child he was. Plenty of children develop curiosity before they developed compassion and morals, and he was one of them. He still sometimes thinks back on how little he cared about that person dying before his eyes, especially since he knew him.. But at least, his interest in physics and specifically electricity got into him that day! He knew what he wanted to study since childhood, even if by such a "striking" event haha

👑 CROWN - what does your oc want to be remembered as? why?

He always wanted to be of help for humanity and simply be credited as progenitor of many follow-up inventions and inspiration for follow-up scientists! He knew his name would be in every book about physics... Well, due to circumstances, most of his inventions were weapons or otherwise helpful in military. He has some regrets, becoming the 'guy that invented more ways to kill' more than someone known for his inventions that would turn useful whenever Eldrich Nightmare ends. As a person, he wanted to be remembered as someone with the heart and morals despite how many deals with coincidence he HAD to make to proceed, and that can come true since he not only conducted research that was "heretical" amongst Healing Church hunters but died taking down a Vicar that was somehow even more evil than Laurence. Depends on what the descendants will think of the Healing Church!

☁️ CLOUD - a soft headcanon

Paarl didn't eat or otherwise kill the guy! Archibald gave Paarl his badge because he just gave it to all his friends, and even though he never knew Paarl before beasthood he counted him as a friend as well!
