Dr. Catherine Halsey of the Halo universe is a ruthless, unapologetic woman who abducted young children in order to create an army of super-soldiers (even if she privately has a lot of guilt about it). She's one of the most brilliant human minds alive, but that doesn't stop most people who meet her from loathing her to their very core. Nonetheless, she's undeniably fighting for the advancement of the human race and has been shown to deeply care for those she sees as her "children", whether it be her Spartan-IIs or her actual daughter Miranda Keyes.

Why am I only just realizing my main oc Angel Fitzgerald is literally just Eddie Dear as a woman?

- Both have bad memory. 🧠

- Very creative, there was most likely a piece of paper in either of their hands, whether that be a craft or a letter who cares. 🎨

- Eddie's a mailman. When Angel worked at Playtime, she was a department gopher for the Councilor's Office and sometimes the School. Just basically a glorified postal worker. 📫

- They each saw some grump and just went. "Yeah. That's my guy.", with Eddie romancing Frank, and Angel bestfriending Sunny (my version of Dogday, just human). ❤

- Both are clumsy. 🤕

I can't think of any more similarities, but when my phone is finished charging, I'll compare their designs.

Did I ever tell y'all that I was like. Weirdly into the cartoon Ed Edd n Eddy in high school? TIL that the grown woman who does Quark's English voice played Nazz and best girl May Kanker. I've been sitting here for three years completely unaware that two of my life-defining hyperfixations have shared this random voice actor. The emotions this inspires are... I don't even know?

Incidentally I learned this while cross-referencing the Zero Escape cast with the Trigger Happy Havoc cast, because I want to play that game with English voice acting for the first time. The only three names I recognized were the unlikely duo of Sean Chiplock and Keith Silverstein (which I've been over before, peace and love on the planet Earth), and Erin Fitzgerald herself who... sigh... played Junko and Genocide Jill. Two excellent cases of neurodivergent representation! /s

Of course, May Kanker wasn't exactly tactfully written but she was still a highly relatable problematic girlfailure I loved in spite of it all just like Toko so I guess Erin has a type here.
