So, like, am I the only one who liked Season 2? Because they did an excellent job. The outfits were much better than season 1. I liked the story, the pairings, the depth of the characters that didn´t have much going for them in season 1, I liked the little twist of who the enemies were, the new characters...

Good job.

Hi dudes! So I've been rewatching/thinkin about some old short faves that I feel like don't get enough attention so I thought I'd rec some anime if anyone's looking for somethin good to watch and why.

Dororo (2019) - 1 season

Criminally underrated. Literally only one season so you should watch it. It's got Demon Slayer vibes so if you like that, I'd give it a try.

Hellsing Ultimate (2006) - 1 season

Tbh I didn't really like it until I forced myself to watch the whole thing. It's got a funky animation style but the characters are really unique and it's a fun watch. Plus Universal Studios made it for some reason??? Also VERY gory tho just a warning.

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress (2016) - 1 season + movie

I will fight for this one til my grave. I don't pick favorites. Nevermind I do. It's this one. It's like Attack on Titan except on a train. Never had a show where I've liked every single character. Except Mumei she sucks.

Death Parade (2015) - 1 season

It's cute and sad. Plus it's got a mystery.

Burn the Witch (2020)

Literally like 3 eps. How can you not watch it? I've seen this spike a little bit on Tumblr. But not near as much as it should. Made by the same guy who created Bleach.

Ghost Stories Dub (2001) - 1 season

Ok this show is terrible in every possible way. Very offensive but also very hilarious. I think what happened is basically it tanked in Japan so they just gave it to an American dub studio and said do whatever you want. So it doesn't follow the original dialog. Even better that way tho.

Fate/Zero (2011) - 2 Seasons

Ok I know the Fate saga is really popular but also like, noone talks about it??? I haven't watched all of them because the watch order is confusing af but this one is a prequel so it can stand on its own. Good characters overall.

Vinland Saga (2019) - 1 Season Cont.

Again popular but also not popular? It's a good one to watch if you wanna dip your toes into anime without just jumping full on into the weird shows 😂 Plus season 2 is coming soon! 🥳

Dad !

In the official prequel of the saga winx, read this book it is top of the top, we learn that Saul did not authorize Sky to call him dad. So I tried to imagine the discussion he had on this subject with Farah. And the consequences of it.

"But I'm not his father! I took him away from him ! He must not love me Farah! "

Fortunately, the young director had the room soundproofed, no onlookers would be aware that Saul was losing his footing.

"- Sky needs love Saul. He needs you. You are his rock.

- But I killed his father... I'm a... I'm a murderer... "

Saul's usually composed voice was now shaking from suppressed sobs.

"- If you hadn't done anything, you'd be dead. It was self-defense and you know it. He wanted to follow Rosalind and kill everyone in Aster Dell without raising an eyebrow.

- But the damage was already done! I was too late and took away Sky's only family.

- Do you really want to talk about the concept of family? "

Saul snorted with contempt. Farah felt a chill run through her. Why had she said that? Saul had always respected her very much and she knew that would continue forever. Why couldn't she think before she spoke? "- The one who beat me or the one I killed? Maybe I'm just a father-killer... Saul sarcastically persorted.

- Your mother is an example that should make you realize that family is chosen. Let Sky have the choice. "

Farah had remained as always calm, at least in appearance. She had to force herself not to influence the emotions of her friend. It was a promise she could not break.

"- I loved my mother... Before. Saul sighed in a white voice. And she loved me too, I know that... But... When she found out what I had done... "

His voice broke and his eyes moistened with suppressed tears but he continued.

"When she found out I killed my father... She became... Horrible. You saw it. "

Farah closed her eyes, to give Saul time but also herself. She remembered. She was the one who had dragged him to the infirmary where Ben was a trainee, to tend to his wounds. Too many times.

"- Sky is not your mother.

- And I'm not his father. Replied the other one.

- You are in his heart. Don't make me think you don't remember the nights you spent with him when his parents were drunk. "

Silva didn't loosen his lips.

"- You can raise him to respect Andreas' soul by letting Sky love you like the father he would never have.

- I'm no match for him... Sky deserves better than his father's murderer

- Sky deserves a man who teaches him, who loves him, who shows him and who will let him love him. You're more than up to the task.

- I'm afraid... Silva sighed in a voice so low she thought she was dreaming.

- I'll be there and so will Ben. "

Saul opened his mouth to answer, but there was a knock at the door. He wiped his wet eyes and Farah waited until he was finished before opening the door. Ben, holding Sky's small hands as she stood with difficulty, entered. "Da... Da... " the little one babbled as he let go of Ben's fingers to crawl towards Saul.

Saul glanced at Farah then crouched down.

"Da... Da... " the child repeated as he dropped into Saul's outstretched arms.

- Thank you, Farah. Saul murmured as he held Sky close to his heart.

He kissed the little boy's blond curls and whispered:

- I love you Sky. "

First of maybe just one image in my “Draw Farah throughout the years in her transformation outfits”, starting with season 1! Tried to follow the “rules” and stay as true as possible to the original style and outfits. What do you guys think? :)

Fate Saga Season 2 Rant

Like the title says, I’m just gonna rant about my thoughts about season 2 c:

I really enjoyed it. The conflict, the pacing, I think it was a very well done season. Of course there are things that I didn’t like, but I’m gonna talk about those later. Let’s start with things I loved.

- Bloom. I liked her character a lot. I loved that they kept her being reckless but she’s now aware so she tries to control her impulses and listens to the other best while still not being the best person ever, I think that was very nice and a nice pacing for character growth.

- Bloom and Sky. Their relationship was so CUTE! The actors have chemistry and their relationship based on support was very pleasant to see. They got each other backs and they understand each other’s personalities and characters. Very well done relationship! I love that there wasn’t drama between them, cause a lot of times when a couple gets established to keep it relevant a lot of tv shows make them have petty drama, and I loved that they didn’t do that to them. Skloom for the win!

- Musa’s arc. Because she’s an empath I always imagined they would go with her helping the others with their emotions but having her be the one that needed help was nice. Hating her powers and having nobody understand her is a very unique character arc and I’m here for it. I’m here to see her grow up and learning to love her powers.

- Direct to the previous one, I love the way they took Sam out of the picture. His departure had consequences (in Musa) and it wasn’t petty, and I’m very grateful for that because they didn’t massacre the character of Sam or Musa to get him out.

- Beatrice and Stella’s friendship. The ship I didn’t know I needed, but the one I deserve! Stellatrix had so much potential. And uff, I loved it but also hate their ending AHHHHHH

- Obviously, Beatrice. I loved her little cunning self since season 1, but season 2 really made it for me since she started looking out for herself. She’s so selfish but lonely and that’s my weakness. When Andreas calls her “Little Storm” I just bawled.

- RIVUSA. MY.GOD. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. I love the progression to their relationship. The fact that they took their time to end up their respective relationships to make them even interact was very nice. They warming up to each other with time, the partners in crime potential, the fact that it was Riven who helped Musa the most, who had her in his mind and was not afraid to tell her some hard truths but that eventually helped her to get better. I LOVE THEM. GIVE THEM TO ME!!!

- Flora and Terra. My little earth fairies, I love them. Flora is such a calm yet chaotic character I love her lmao, and Terra... I don’t think she grew up much from season 1 and I think they could have give her a better arc regarding her family, but I loved her relationship with Flora, that it’s stained with care but also jealousy. Her coming out was also really well done in my opinion and I loved it. LET’S GO LESBIANS LET’S GOOO

- The Blood Witches. I liked that the conflict is not like “blood witches are bad and the faeries are good”, I liked threre was more of it.

Now, the things I didn’t enjoy as much/or would change.

- Stella. I expected more of her character this season, but to be fair, I feel the show runners didn’t know what to do with her, and they kept her away with that gem to allow Flora get more involved with the other girls. As I said, I love her little relationship with Beatrix, but I expected more for solo Stella. More conflict, more development, more growth with the others overall. Like, at least I was expecting her to help Bloom more, or be less “dumb” that they made her this season. Idk, I love Stella but I expected more for her.

- Same case with Stella, I expected more for Aisha. Don’t get me wrong, I kinda like Grey and Aisha, but it fell kinda flat to me. Yeah, they had similarities like they both made cards of important people and they like to swim, but what else?! I liked the idea, but there was so little focus on them, because they could have worked very coolly for the blood witches not be introduced at completely evil and villains, but nah.

- The lack of Andreas/Sky/Beatrix interactions. They set up complete drama last season but got absolutely nothing lmao. Maybe I had more expectations but uff. I liked that Andreas really loved Beatrix (when he killed for her I sobbed), and wouldn’t that be a source of conflict for Sky? I kinda expected Andreas to influence Sky more but anyways.

- Where was my Sky/Riven bromance? Like, I expected them to be on bad terms because of last season, but we got neither the angst nor the friendship omg.

- Also, where was the tension between Andreas and Silva? Why was Silva so easily persuaded to work with Rosalind? Why Silva never asked for Farah? AHHHHHH

- I was kinda expecting more of Rosalind as a villain, I was kinda disappointed when she got killed lol.

- WHAT DO YOU MEAN FARAH IS REALLY DEAD? I REFUSE!
