Sarha had just moved to Pallet Town with her mother and a whole Pokéfarm!
Sacha made her smile, igniting a spark that still glows today.
So many years later they’re still hand in hand, living each day like an exciting adventure!!
While I'm in the mood to apparently ramble about 2/2. last month I played through every single dialogue-changing option for the evening of February 2nd in P5R and made a video for it because I figured it would be a helpful reference (and I know I certainly needed it as a reference)
youtube
but more importantly, I noticed something with the dialogue while editing the clips that I genuinely never fucking noticed until that point. and I'm not sure if this is common knowledge among Akechi fans or not but
The dialogue for when you choose either "This isn't 'trivial'!" or "Don't oversimplify this." is nearly the exact same. However, there are actually two different sets of voice lines for, "Do you think I'd be happy with this? Being shown mercy now, of all times? I don't want to be pitied—this isn't something I'm debating with you!"
The delivery is different depending on the choice. Especially when regarding tone. no wonder I always felt like I was misremembering the tone of the lines when i re-listened to it in different youtube videos. I remember the lines as sounding angry because "This isn't 'trivial'!" is my preferred dialogue choice, and that's the kind of tone Akechi responds in when you pick that. but if you choose "Don't oversimplify this," he sounds a little softer, but almost like... more Hurt? if that makes sense. (take this description with a grain of salt tbh I'm not good at describing nuances in tone) of course he's angry and probably feeling hurt in both, but the difference in tone is noticeable
I do not know how intentional this is. I also don't know if this is also the case for Akechi's JP voice lines. I'd need to check
Happy 2/2 everybody, I'm sure we can all collectively agree that Persona 3 Reload's release for today was intentional.
Shout out to the Akeshu girlies today is hell for all of us, we did this to ourselves.
My best friend and I made an akeshu playlist a while ago, it's songs that we think are akeshu coded. My best friend added mostly Taylor Swift songs and I added mostly Hozier but we both agreed heavily on Mitski.
From Eden is hitting just a little harder today guys. You should give it a listen, join the collective crying experience
