Hekate, the triple moon goddess. I can't think of a name that's more badass than that 😭. This was a lovely request made by @moonpluto . Hekate is the goddess of magic and mediumship, so my theory is that her asteroid talks about your spiritual gifts. I will be interpreting this through the houses by using tarotstrology, a concept that I got from @taisoleil.

First House

Natives with Hekate in their first House could have very strong clairaudient abilities or are just extremely sensitive about they hear. This asteroid indicates a long journey of struggling to accept who they are and being able to see the good within themselves. I feel like these individuals are powerfully gifted with psychic abilities, but don't want them and have tried to walk away from those parts about themselves and their purpose, multiple times. Their purpose could include helping the world in some way but they get overwhelmed by the responsibility and feel singled out on why it has to specifically be them to fulfill this role. They channel stuff with ease but could purposely ignore their intuition, guidance that they literally hear from their guides, or any other outside voices in order to keep their peace. It's like they're scared of their own power.

Second House

Hekate in the second House could indicate a high sensitivity to what you feel, acute clairsentience. It's imperative for these individuals to energetically cleanse themselves often and to seek new atmospheres. They don't do well in old houses (especially haunted ones), thrifted objects, old habits, or anything old or used stuff in general because they can easily pick up what took place which could either be really good or really bad. Fourth House

Natives with the fourth house Hekate placement are talented alchemists and manifestors. I keep picking up the fact that energy can be created but not destroyed. These people are always able to turn destruction and nothingness into something amazing. They're excellent at spell-work (jars, candles, oils, etc) are not the type to follow traditional methods because they're able to succeed regardless of what they do or don't have. They could be heavily into new age spirituality and are always into experimenting with new ways and methods to practice it. I feel like they will, if not already, become widely accepted mentors. I feel like this is a combination of clairvoyance and clairsentience because I'm getting that how you connect with people is like astral projecting into their younger years and pinpointing when and what started the problem and knowing exactly how they feel to where you sympathize with them and are able to give them the precise guidance that they need.

Sixth House

The sixth house containing Hekate could indicate being really in tune with your higher self and helping others do the same. This looks like shifting people out of a materialistic mindset. I feel like you're able to persuade people into dropping superficial facades if they have one. You reveal to others what their true selves consists of and are able to help them de-program any values that they've learned that's holding them back. You trigger people to make changes in their lives instead of being stubborn with not growing their self-awareness or how they view themselves. They could have a special connection with animals or this can also be interpreted as being able to "tame the beast" within others.

Seventh House

The spiritual gifts of people with the 7h hekate placement, involve mending others trust issues and willingness to be open to love and to receive help. You guys could have healing hands because I'm getting that y'all could really excel in being reiki practitioners. You're able to soothe others with your physical touch (people could love your hugs). You could attract partners that are closed off or have something about themselves that make you want to help them, but this could end up with you possibly living vicariously through them by wanting to fix everything that they're going through.

Eighth House

STATUE OF VINCENT AND THEO VAN GOGH: i'll let geoff dyer (from his book of collected essays and reviews, titled 'otherwise known as the human condition') explain why i love it so much: “It is not immediately obvious which of Zadkine’s figures is Vincent and which is Theo. Like all who relieve the suffering of others, Theo—in a process that is the exact opposite of a blood transfusion—has taken some of Vincent’s pain into himself. Soon, however, it becomes obvious that while the sky weighs heavily on both figures, one, Vincent, feels gravity as a force so terrible it can drag men beneath the earth. From this moment on you are held by the pathos and beauty of what Zadkine depicts: despair that is inconsolable, comfort that is endless. One figure says, “I can never feel better,” the other, “I will hold you until you are better.” (@carryingpitchers)

JUDITH SLAYING HOLOFERNES: no first of all, just look at how 'intimate' it looks. if you've seen Caravaggio's interpretation of the same paining this one will stand out so much, with how up close and personal judith is. look at the blood spurting and dripping down. look at the struggle!!! look at how judith has taken holofernes hair in her hands oh my god. also she was sa ed by her art teacher, amd ofc the shame was put on her (she was literally tortured so she would not lie). so she channeled her rage in the painting. there was her first version to this painting too, but this is so much more personal to her own story. because she has tried to portray herself as judith here. you can feel the rage and the scrunching of eyebrows in her expression and ofc the hair grasp. moreover the bracelet she is donning, has goddess artemis cameo. which artemis= artemisia. also this detail was not present in her original draft. moreover if you zoom in near the bracelet, holofernes blood spurts parallel to it, which adds such a personal touch!!! moreover women were excluded from all social and cultural resources from 1400-1900, so her involvement is even more significant. Hi, Chai! I've been following you for a bit, mostly for the RG content, and I've recently seen you talk about your other non-RWBY interests when I realized that I'm really curious on what other media do you like? (Be it shows, movies, music, games, books, etc.)

Oughh this is a very good question. I'll put them under a read more cause I have a feeling I took this question too literally and it might get just a little bit long because of that. 💦

I'm generally very passive with the media I consume and only draw as much RWBY as I do because RG has had me in a vice grip since V8E1 and isn't letting go anytime soon. 💀 But I do engage with lots of other stuff too! This isn't an exhaustive list, just ones I like lots or re-watch often enough.

Anime

I probably watch this stuff more than anything else. My favourite of all time is probably The Eccentric Family, both seasons. The art direction and the messages of the story just hit very hard for me and I re-watch it pretty much every year. My second favourite is Kekkai Sensen (i prefer the first over second season as they switch directors).

I am a huge romantic. Romance, to some capacity, is required in almost every story I read or watch. As a result, I have a lot of couples I like. But shipping is another level of interest. Ariadne: The Novel. Literally just finished this morning, so my frustration is still fresh. I absolutely adore the story of Ariadne and Bacchus. I almost wrote a novel based on them when I was 19 but I decided not to continue. But because I am so familiar and fascinated by them, I should not have bought this book. The book itself is fine. It was just a mismatch of expectations.

Yes, in the Greco-Roman myths, there is a running theme that some individuals are heroes to men but dogs to women. And there are few variations to Ariadne's story, so one never knows which direction the author will go. But there is more to Ariadne than being a perpetual victim to all the men in her life. At least, to me, there is. This is why, if I have doubts, I usually check the middle of a book before I buy it. I checked this time too, and I thought I was safe, but it was actually the last pages that ruined it for me.

I wanted to read the liberation and empowerment of Ariadne, her conversion from the naive, discarded princess to the triumphant Libera, the ascendant goddess whose name literally means free; the woman who latched hold of a once in a lifetime opportunity and carved a place for herself in the halls of Olympia after her lover, Theseus, abandoned her to starve to death on the shores of Naxos; the Libera who watched, enthroned, as her would-be killer suffered a series of mishaps and fell from grace in the eyes of gods and man.

And were all those mishaps accidents? Or curses? And if so, by whom? Her? Bacchus? Another deity? Is Ariadne foolish or cunning, haughty or generous, vengeful or forgiving? There are so many routes her story can go. However, this book does not take the route of the empowered Libera. It has a negative character arc, which - again - is fine, just not for me. Unless it's about the protagonist turning into the villain in which case it's 100% for me.

Other books I'm currently reading because I do not read one book at a time: Francine Rivers's The Lady's Mine; Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None; Tom Baker's Scratchman; James Patterson and Emily Raymond's The Girl in the Castle; and Jacqueline Rayner's Legends of Camelot.

And don't get me started on the endless list of ongoing manga/manhua I read monthly.

currently watching: Nothing really. I've been meaning to watch the latest season of You. And I've rewatched a couple Doctor Who eps for research (fanfic) purposes. But I don't really watch tv anymore, at least I don't regularly follow any tv shows like I used to.

currently consuming: electrolyte water as prescribed

currently craving: Food. I'm hungry but I don't want to cook. But guess who promised to cook today? Me.

Hi again gods and goddesses 🤭

So,I just wanted to talk about the little changes that keep happening in my reality.

The most amazing thing about learning(or remembering, beacuse we forget or are programmed to believe other things) that we are gods,little gods,ok,but we were created in the image of the mf creator of the entire universe,this one and any other that I believe exists! This is big.

Is so gross that from the moment we are born people try to convince us otherwise. They say we are lesser,sinners,helpless. That because of our skin color,place of birth,social standing,etc,etc,we can't have it,we can't do it,we have to suck it up and accept things as they are just like anybody else.

And the biggest blasfemy,they say we are separated from the creator,god,the universe,whatever you call It.

FUCK THAT.

Really. I was created by the universe itself. I'm an immortal councioness. I literally created a matrix for myself to experience life in the 3d!

I'm powerful. We all are.

And I'm actually so happy to learn manifestation because I changed from the inside to the outside. I used to have panic attacks for example and now they are gone. I'm tried to kill myself once and I used to feel so fucking depressed,so down,like I was a piece of dog shit on the floor 😅. I honestly think that until finding my way to manifestation I've never experienced real peace and content. I know it sound crazy,but I had a pretty hard childhood and teen years,but I'm revising it because why not? I DESERVE to have a good childhood,good parents,good things happening to me in that timeline.

So I'm really grateful for all the teachers I found on the internet,for neville and florence and abraham,and many others.

I also wanted to say to that before your big manifestation comes little funny things start to happen,and I don't believe in coincidences.

It can be as little as thinking about a music and the radio plays it right away or your playlist rolls it. Thinking about numbers and seeing then everywhere.

I guess in July I was going back home from grocery shopping and I was thinking that I really wanted to see a friend of mine,her son died and I wanted to see her and see how she was doing,so I decide to pass in from of her house on my way home. She's almost never home because she runs a business,but guess who was just getting home when I got to the street where she lives?

Things like that. Neville says that there are no signs BEFORE manifesting,the signs FOLLOWS, so if you're seeing the signs your manifestation already is here.The fact that it's not in the 3d means nothing. It will show up.

And that's it I guess.

Just some thoughts.

dude he'd fucking love her. hands down. he'd own a physical copy of every album and she'd be in his top 5 spotify artists every year.

and it wouldn't even be like... a crush, y'know? she'd be like a goddess that he's out here making offerings and sacrifices for because he just admires her as a musician so much

he would study her lyrics and be all "how do i write like that". he would get her lyrics tattooed ("i need my golden crown of sorrow, my bloody sword to swing" a crown around a sword with a banner wrapping around it with the lyrics on aoemary9j3oruj)

would definitely cry when he sees her in concert

I woke up a little late but at least that means I got a good night of sleep~ Even if my dreams were a little weird. As usual.

It's funny but all of the information people I've met here are low-key rude haha. It's fine though, and I guess it's fair since i don't really speak Italian. I try, but it's so broken and I'm so uncomfortable with it.

I went to Romagia and had a lovely breakfast! It's good! I ordered an omelette, but I think I confused the waitress a little bit. It's not 'oh-me-let' here, it's 'oh-mo-leh-te' haha But turns out the trail didn't start at Riomaggiore, so I had to move on to Corniglia. I swear the train company is making so much money off of me. From there... I took steps. So many fucking stairs. I was hot and sweaty and I doubt any rando would hit on me now lol My genes make me sweaty so wearing a full face of makeup while going hiking is never a good idea. And yet... But I've got to remind myself that no matter how ugly I am, people will still talk to me and be nice to me. Which feels like a blessing.

But there were so many fruit trees!! So many!! I ate some of the grapes and they were SOUR.. A French girl hoped over a fence to get fallen peaches and I had one~ it was so sweet and juicy! I also really wanted to get fallen plums but those were already claimed by insects... I kinda wanted to get a lemon, but like. I wouldn't have done anything with it lol. Maybe adding it to my water, actually 🤔 And if I do come back tomorrow, I wanna go swimming in the little nook I found. I wanted to go scuba diving, but again. The information places are not very helpful. I really like the Italian sea, it's so blue~ I did get to find a place close to the rocks! I chilled there for a bit~ Did some parkour~ And skinned my leg a bit when i slipped ;^; My airport fell into the little pond so I gotta get new ones I guess 😅 And one more adapter. My iPhone kinda died since I didn't charge it last night to charge my android. I also need to buy shampoo. And I'm also low key anxious about the internship now. I know my Italian is bad and because I know I haven't been practicing... Low-key kill me.

Oh! I have my first work call catch up today!! I'm pretty excited for it. And anxious. I'm gonna have so many emails, but I'm curious to see how it's been going.

I think if the chance comes up to get a tattoo in Florence I'll take it. I feel like I accomplished my goal of feeling more connected to my goddess without really bending over backwards somehow? Worshipping her just became a natural part of my day. So I think I'm ready. Even if I don't get the house or the full time job, I want to get this tattoo.

Ohmygod... So I decided to be excited for this right? Be excited for going back to work. But first, the computer work account gives me trouble. And then I decide I'll check my emails, clean things off before my catch up meeting~ .... ......... I have 243 emails.

BROH.

I can't. I'm sure half of those are junk and meetings but OHMYGODS

Ohmygod... This was none of the things I was expecting...

I just had my catch up meeting with my coworker and. Golly. This is NOT good. Social guy got Fired?? He didn't quit, he got *fired* and he was a driving force in some of our integration discussions. My manager still sucks. She's changing everything and making it impossible for my coworker to do anything about it. My boss was very angry about the new tool we were discussing eventhough we discussed it and I said the coworker's company would take care of it? I'm just. What am I going to go back to. August is going to be a literal hell. ...I'm, going to go get pizza.

That update about work actually has me pretty bummed out... Like, why couldn't things just stay good? But I do recall that I just wanted a job to get me all the way to Italy, and that's what it did, and I met some wonderful people along the way so for that I am very grateful. I guess I'll have to apply for some new jobs now though, just in case.
