Summary- Akashi Seijuro, the man with a split personality, meets a person who has no personality. Basically, Dissociative Identity Disorder vs Depersonalization-derealization disorder.

Trauma.

No matter how big or small, it's the one main thing that can lead to personality disorders.

And no matter how dull your eyes looked when he forced you to look up, he knew that there was something behind your irises that resembled what he sees in his own reflection in the mirror.

Akashi Seijuro, the first year student council president, captain of the Rakuzan basketball team, the man feared by everyone in the school including his seniors. It was near impossible to surprise him, he seemed unfazed by everything.

And yet, his heterochromatic eyes were dilated. He stared into your own eyes, which showed no signs of any emotion whatsoever- no fear, no respect, not even surprise when he suddenly shoved your shoulder and forced you to look towards him.

He was tired of how you only responded to his words with a simple "mhm" as you did whatever reasonable job was asked of you. He was annoyed that you didn't show him the same level of respect as everyone else did in your class. And he was frustrated with how you just seemed to not care about his presence.

He needed answers.

And he did get answers, without you having to say anything.

"Tch," he walked away.

He had an urge to talk to you, be around you and find out exactly what lead you to be like this, just so he could feel like there's at least someone out there who would understand him. But he suppressed his urges.

He'd hear Oreshi's voice every once in a while, suggesting Bokushi to open up a bit, but as long as it was Bokushi in control, Akashi Seijurou would never let his pride fall.

"Maybe if I lose, if that ever happens." he'd scoff in reply, as he looked at himself when he washed his face before heading to bed. "If that ever happens..."

The Winter Cup was just around the corner. And as expected, Rakuzan made it to the finals without breaking a sweat. People from their school were there in the stadium, cheering them on throughout the matches, but Akashi noticed that there were also some who stopped showing up after a couple matches.

And he wouldn't have been bothered by it if you weren't one of them. All he wants was acknowledgement from someone like him, and yet here he is, facing off against his former teammates, knowing they wouldn't understand everything that runs through his mind.

Bokushi and Oreshi truly were like two sides of a coin, opposite but cannot live without each other. They were half of a whole of what made Akashi. But that also caused him to be confused about his own feelings. While both seeked attention, Oreshi wanted it to be out of understanding, while Bokushi wanted respect. Prideful was Bokushi but with a considerate Oreshi in the way, Akashi couldn't help but get swayed away often.

In the end, Rakuzan lost to Seirin in the Winter Cup. Bokushi accepted his loss as Oreshi was free to be in control again.

"What happened to your hair?"

Akashi found himself in front of you. He hadn't given it much thought, letting his instincts, his need, drive him this once.

He seemed to have changed a lot. But you on the other hand, seemed the same as ever as you sat there, alone, in the school courtyard, your lunch on your lap. That same, expressionless expression...

"Listen, I just want to talk."

"Oh, is this you letting go of your pride?" you took a bite of your food. "Wow, what happened?"

"Just thought of changing some things up. I hardly doubt that's abnormal."

You just hummed in response and continued staring into the distance. Akashi was feeling nervous. This is the one time he's willing to let go of his pride, so he better utilize it to the fullest. "Do you mind if I join you?"

"Sure, this spots empty anyway."

"What about your friends?"

"They're probably eating together, somewhere. I don't know, and I don't really care. All I want is to look at that bird nest over there."

Akashi followed your finger to the bird nest, where two baby birds sat, cuddling up to a much bigger bird. Then he looked back at you and the way your eyes were glimmering at the sight.

Huh, maybe you do show some emotions. And, if he were being completely honest, then even his eyes were probably glimmering at the sight. It was pretty peaceful after all.

"Say, Akashi-san, do you have an interest in the concept of 'still life'? It may seem boring to some, but it can bring a lot of peace to some others."

"I haven't heard too much about it, but would love to know more. Please do continue, yn."

Most of Akashi's conversations included work. To be able to talk about something so casual was a bit foreign to him, but he certainly didn't mind it. He hadn't realized how easy it was for him to get along with you. Was it because he'd grown used to your unfazed nature towards him and and his position? Was it because he realized that being seen as just another person isn't so bad after all? That he doesn't always need to assert his superiority as he was told to by Bokushi and his father?

Healing is conditional. It takes time and the right people. And maybe, choosing to be here with you might be his first step.

He's not sure whether this is Oreshi's consideration or Bokushi's pride, but he doesn't even want think about it, because right now, he's sure of one thing.

He wants to help you both get through whatever together.

Maedhros from the Silmarillion is canonically an amputee, I headcanon him as being autistic and having PTSD, fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, he's also depressed

Yuri Plisetsky from Yuri on Ice has Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and ADHD

Legolas from the Lord of the Rings has dyslexia and Cerebral Palsy

Atsushi Murasakibara from Kuroko's Basketball is autistic and has ARFID and Marfan's. He also has chronic pain due his frame and overworking at a young age. He is also depressed.

Yuuri Katsuki from Yuri on Ice has anxiety, panic disorder and binge eating disorder (these are not directly stated, but likely canon) I also hc him as autistic and having chronic migraines

Midorima Shintaro from Kuroko's Basketball has sever visual impairment and has autism and OCD. He also suffers from depression.

Celegorm from the Silmarillion has ADHD and Ablinism, which causes visual impairment, but this is limited given that elves have much better eyesight to start with, this means he is not legally blind, but very light sensitive and often relies on sound rather than sight while hunting.

Quick disclaimers:

This prompt works under the assumption that said S/O mostly wears sweatpants and baggier clothes.

This is as spicy as I go and only because it was requested by a friend, and yet there will be no sexual content mentioned. Still, everyone here is written as if 18yo or more.

I've lost this one and had to rewrite this one so many times I think I have no longer a soul, anyways enjoy.

Haru:

Bonus points if you wear blue

"Haru, darling... wake up"

"... Hm...?"

The second he opens his eye, he freezes.

He tries to pretend everything is fine, but internally there's a riot.

"You look... nice".

He probably wouldn't know what to do. He's too groggy to process even a normal situation.

Seeing their beloved in this sexy (and most likely blue) outfit is too much.

My man is broken. He babbles in incoherence and despite his face being the same chill expression as usual he's red as a cherry.

Join him to bed, he will not know how to ask, but the second you're lying next to him, he will wrap his arms around you to cuddle.

Makoto:

Makoto is playing video games online, probably Splatoon or PUBG.

When you walk into the room shyly.

He does that cute thing where he almost drops the control, and it just bounces in his hands, trying not to drop it.

If they laugh it off, he would get shier and shier until you assure him it's okay and that he's cute.

If you panic with him, he will have to pull himself together and clarify that he does like it, but he's just not used to it.

Either way, the whole thing is very gentle and sweet because... orca angelic boy.

Rin:

Rin is one to wake up early, so I imagine you don't wake him up per se, but like he's about to leave the room to go for a run and...

HE IS A DRAMA QUEEN.

Sometimes it’s hard to take him seriously when he’s like this, he’d be more over the teasing side, but he’d poke around you not wanting to be with him anymore and wanting to be with that barista guy in the coffee shop you visit frequently.

Sometimes, you’d play along, until you can literally see him tear up.

Then, you’d decide that it’s enough and you’d pull him in for a hug.

He’s dumb, he can’t see how beautiful he is, can he?

You’ll make sure he knows he’s your one and only. Then, he’ll tease you back with how much you love him.

Nitori

He is a sweetheart, he’d be so heartbroken when he sees you talking to your tall classmate.

He’d start wondering if you’d like him better if he was taller or stronger, or if his eyes were darker. He’d change his haircut if that meant youd like him better.

Nitori’s eyes would look glossy when you come closer to him after noticing him by the door.

You’d hug him and kiss his cheek, he’d shyly ask if you dont mind him not being that tall.

You laugh it of softly, “No, Ai, you’re perfect like this”, wrapping your arms around him.

You’d feel him relax in your arms and blink back a few tears.

Momo

He might feel his world is falling apart.

Momo would very likely make a scene and sob when he thinks you like someone other than him a lot more.

He’d talk to you about it though.

You’d explain that it’s nothing like that and that this person was just borrowing something from you.

He’d wait until you give him a forehead kiss to stop his sobbing.

Then, Momo would take you to get some ice cream.

Sousuke

He’s a bit harsh and erratic when he’s not thinking straight.

Sousuke wouldn’t want to hurt you in anyway, but if you try to talk about it at the wrong place and time, it could turn into a fight (depending on how you both handle it of course). He can be very explosive.

He would never attack you in anyway, but he’d want to pull himself out of any interaction with anyone for a bit to cool off.

If you leave him alone to think, from the begining, he’ll calm down and come back in a few minutes. He’ll hug you and tell you how much he loves you.

But on the few days where he’s a bit more difficult to handle, if you try to push him into telling him what’s wrong he might snap. He’d be dumb and say something that he doesn’t mean.

He’d then come back and try to explain what was happening through his mind.

He is 100% not good with “negative” feelings, but he will fight back really hard to show he’s very sorry.

Seijuro

Honestly, Seijuro is pretty cool about it. Like, yeah, sure, he does get jealous, because it kinda happens to a lot of us. But he’s mature enough to not make a scene about it (probably not like Momo, for example).

He’d try to not address his feeling though, at first, because he doesn’t want to make a big deal about it, until you feel he’s a bit more quiet.

Seijuro will then explain to you how he feels, he’ll be very clear in the fact that there’s nothing wrong with you and that he should just probably reflect on his feelings for a bit.

You could try to validate his feeling or just let him deal with it by himself, but if you try to talk it out with him, he’ll feel a lot better with the situation and himself.

okay but imagine a knb realistic au in which they made a pact to dye their hair the colour that was in their name but kuroko was a rebel and decided to go for light blue because his hair was already black (can’t imagine the horror of having to bleach his hair down to platinum and then go for that light blue) and akashi was a madlad and picked magenta instead of red. i think the funniest is midorima because of his personality. like kise just bleached his hair, pretty straight forward, murasakibara probably would have gotten his sisters to bleach and dye his hair for him or something and getting that dark blue colour aomine has is pretty easy with naturally dark hair. but imagine midorima shintarou, first of his name, having to sit through more than one round of bleach to get his hair to that incredible green tone is just fucking hilarious. also this would give a lot of depth to akashi’s otherwise flat character because dyeing your hair in japan is seen as pretty thuggish and rebelious so for this kid with a shitty helicopter father to actually go and dye it magenta, a colour that is coded as feminine, is pretty hardcore.

surprise!

It was another joint practice between Iwatobi and Samezuka. Ever since Rin became captain, joint practices happened almost every week. No one minded it though, it was a good chance to bond with each other after all.

"Ai chan!" Nagisa exclaimed as he ran up to his fellow competitor.

Aiichirou stumbled back with a gasp as Nagisa tackled him in a hug, instantly losing his balance as he fell down on the cold floor.

"Nagisa," Makoto sighed, pulling the blonde up by his collar as if he weighed nothing," you've got to stop attacking Ai." he scolded, ever the responsible one between the four of them.

Nagisa stuck his tongue out childishly but before he could retort, Rei was already pulling him by the arm so he'd cause less trouble for all of them.

Makoto pinched the bridge of his nose, shaking his head slightly before helping Aiichirou up from his position on the floor.

"Oi!" Rin said, running up to them and pulling the silver haired man up with Makoto. "Nagisa got to him again?"

"When does he not tackle you to the ground?" Haru said with his monotone voice.

"It's alright, I'm used to him anyways, Rin-senpai."Ai said, waving off the matter.

"I swear you're too nice sometimes, Ai. And quit with the senpai, we're already dating."

"Rin!" the younger boy let out, his cheeks immediately flushing red. Rin only smirked in response.

"I was just trying to be polite in front of our friends."

"It's alright, it's not like you guys were hiding it anyways." Makoto winked, completely unfazed by the revelation.

"Hey, where's Gou?"

"She went in before us so I thought she was rushing to meet you ." Makoto replied, confused.

"Really? I didn't see her come in before you guys did. What —"

"I told you we have to play fair! You can't just ask her on a date just like that!" Momo's voice was heard even as he was on the other side of the pool.

"No offence but I did meet her first."Seijurou said, crossing his arms in front of his chest with a smug grin.

"Seijurou's here too?" Makoto asked as he turned towards a grimacing Rin.

"It's not like I can stop him anyways." the red head grumbled. "They've been at it since they arrived. Someone stop me if I start pulling at my hair."

The younger male laughed at his boyfriend, patting his head with a smile as Makoto let out a laugh.

"Rin-senpai! " Momo exclaimed as he ran up to the team captain with his brother trailing behind him.

Aiichirou, Makoto and Haru took several steps back as their friend was bombarded by the two brothers. Rin looked painfully irritated as they kept pestering him about Gou and Makoto had to stifle in a laugh watching the scene before them. Seijurou had his arm around the red head while Momo was talking his ear off which only made him even more agitated, Ai took note. Knowing Rin, it wasn't hard to test his temper.

"I don't know! I could care less on who she picks!" Rin said, taking the older boy's arm around him as he distanced himself from the bickering duo.

The sound of the entrance door opening caught the beauty marked boy's attention so he turned his head to see the lady in question walking in with Sousuke right beside her. Everyone else was busy doing their own thing so no one really noticed them coming in in the first place. They seemed to be in deep conversation judging by how the brunette's attention never faltered from the red head even for a second. They look almost endearing, Ai mused.

Rin seemed to take in that Gou had entered the pool area and sighed in relief. He turned back towards the bickering duo and nodded his head towards the direction of his sister. "Look, just ask her. She's right there."

Ai turned his head towards Gou, hoping to silently apologize for always being the center of attention between them all but froze when his eyes saw something he thinks he shouldn't see.

Sousuke was leaning down with one arm leaning against the wall as he kissed Gou on the lips. The manager of Iwatobi seemed to be kissing back with her hand gently resting on top of his shoulder. They pulled away literally 5 seconds later but to Ai it was longer.

Apparently everyone ( and by everyone he meant Makoto, Haru, Seijurou and Momo) chose to look at the same direction at the same time and just like Ai, they had their mouths opened in surprise.

That certainly left the Mikoshiba brothers speechless.

Rin was confused as to why it was suddenly silent. "What are you guys staring at?"

"Uh Rin," Aiichirou tapped his shoulder, "you might wanna turn around."

Rin did as he said and turned around. He finally understood what everyone was looking at now. Sosuke had her hand in his then bringing it up to lay a kiss at the back of her palm. He felt their eyes on him so he turned towards them, no longer smiling and instead wearing a stoic expression. Gou followed suit, her cheeks immediately blushing red as she realized what her friends had witnessed.

Aiichirou watched as Rin went from confused to shocked to… is he smiling?

"Well, there's your answer." Rin finally broke the silence, walking over towards the couple and pat his best friend on the back. He even swung his arms around both of their shoulders as he congratulated them.

If jaws could drop any lower, he was sure his did.

Rin seemed to realize everyone was still staring and continued with furrowed eyebrows. "What, you think I'd be mad?"

"Y-Yes?" Ai answered.

The redhead chuckled. "Gou's her own person. I have total faith in her including faith in her to choose someone to date." he moved so he could catch his sister in a headlock. Aiichirou laughed as Gou tried to escape from her brother's hold. Everyone joined the laughing fit too, even Sousuke, which earned a glare from his girlfriend.

Seijurou was the first to speak out of the two brothers. "Congratulations, I'm happy for you both." he said, mustering up a smile. Momo opened his mouth to say something, but kept closing it every 5 seconds. He eventually mustered up a smile,"Congratulations Gou-san, Yamazaki- senpai," he said, then walking to the other side of the pool as his brother tugged him along.

Ai felt sorry for Mikoshiba brothers but he was glad they took the sudden revelation well. Turns out, everyone took the news well seeing as Gou was tackled in a big group hug by her teammates. Even Rin, who was dragged in it was struggling to break free.

"Alright, alright! We're here to swim, not being smothered by hugs!" Rin said, though there was no malice in his words. He seemed to be smiling happily which warmed the silver haired boy's heart even more.
