I am quite aware of the woes of glasses-wearing people when it rains by the way! and with that I mean both the rain droplets which distort your vision completely by reflecting light and the mist that fogs up your glasses when you enter a warm house when it's cold outside TvT

Little vent (nothing serious)

So when I was hanging out with my mom today she was talking about her day n she said she had a ((sorry for the broken English there)) visit to see the people that make test on your eyes n all because her eyesight is having some problems apparently. and she said

"oh god I hope I don't have to wear glasses"

But like with the most disgusted and tired voice imaginable she sounded like those cliché school bullies.

In front of me. Who's been wearing glasses since I was 3 and who was wearing them right on front of her when she said it.

I am the only person who could have possibly put my glasses under the pillow…but why did I do that? What made sense about that thought? I just spent five minutes going around my house in circles, wearing my medicated sunglasses and wielding a flashlight, and was getting seriously disturbed before I decided to check to see if they had fallen between the pillows somehow. They had not. They were neatly folded up and tucked under the pillow as if that made sense. What the heck, self.

Third time I get my new glasses and they're still weird. I see clearly with one eye, but the other is all blurry.

It's not even because I'm an introvert anymore, I'm just tired and I'm giving up.

I'm gonna keep using the old ones while i save money again. Then I'll take the new ones to another place.

Fuck them and me eyesight.

EDIT: I asked, and I can still cancel the purchase... paying 30% of the total but I guess that's better than the alternative which is paying the total either way. Meanwhile, I hope the tape holds the old ones together for longer.
