#PainInThePews #MentalHealthAndMinistry #Repost @cyrusspeaks ・・・ Sometimes it feels like God isn't there. Even worse, is that sometimes it feels like God knows what we're going through but doesn't care. I wrote this poem to express both the heart of those in depression, loneliness or questioning God's love in their lives....as well as to address God's involvement during it all. Tribute to the dead
Tribute given to the dead
For they were weighed and found wanting by death
But neither will i be in despair
Lets my mind be aware
i shall see them soon and very soon
Remember remember
This day
Engraved in our heart
Even tho u in the grave
You will never be to far
But forever be
For all my words
Neither my cries
Are Not enough to pay tribute
But i know God heard my cry
And sent an angel to guide them
Home till we see again

Last days
These last days,
Has been a struggle,
Mercy do i live on.
Threading in front of a mad dog held down with strings,
Casting it taunts,
Whilst dining at its presence.
  Mercy do i live on,
But what happens when it runs out?.
They says God don't tempt any man more than they could bare,
and giveth strength to those who needs it,
So its either me or the devil,
But i know its the later.
For within me i still find flaws
The lacking of God's laws within
Am like a disobedient child
In need of a back hand

Addictions
Let me start by stating the fact
That all addictions
Are addictions for a reason,
They break you down
And leave you with nothing
But
Bitter tastes and urges,
Makes you either come crawling back
Or walking tall back
But within all,
The fact remains
You did be back
Addictions are addictions for a reason
  They break your relationships
Might not be one of man and woman
But of your flesh and your state of mind,
For even tho the state of mind knows
Addictions did kill you
Slowly but surely
The thrill of the flesh still lingers,
And with each “high”
a craftsmanship of the addicts invisible tattoos lingers,
Only to serve as a reminder
Of the deeds done…
Addictions are addictions for a reason
  Slowly but surely,
Little grain of mustard seeds become huge oak trees,
Little drops of water becomes mighty oceans,
All with time added to it
For whether we are in or starting one
A deed is certain
It grows and destroys
And only a matter of time
Before thrills become hills
Hard to climb and overcome.
  Let our steps be tread
In care and breaded
With tales of sweat, resistance
And disciplines
That we can tell our testimonies
To our children’s children,
That we overcame,
That we resisted
The feasts that was laid before us..
Let our faith be ours to own
For the trials and tribulations
We know and face are real.

Here i stand
Here i stand
i can do no other
tho satan thrust at me with Glaring eyes and vain words
tho my actions and my my words are worlds apart
and despair seems labeled my only refuge
here i stand
    here i stand
i can do no other
temptations blooming like Daffodil
Stench of Sin accumulating like Hays
Time on steady loop
here i stand
    here i stand
i can do no other
the sword should be a defense
but now on the offence towards me
my body lay with scars of failed trials
each new day proving difficult than the last
but here i stand
here i stand
i can indeed do no other
but look up to the amazing grace
grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
in him i stand

Deeds
If i should count my sins
Am nothing but the worst of sinners,
My open deeds might be less than my hidden deeds
But they are all one in the same
Am just good at hiding it.
  Judgments coming
My deeds are pilling I say am a christian
But sin abound....next to grace.
When the trumpet shall sound
And the dead rise from the ground
Where would i be?
I desire my ways to be,
As Jesus walks!
But i learnt that desire and reality
Are two diffrent misconception
That are ready to get into bed with you
But cheat on you Leaving you bearing scars
And echoes of past songs
  But this situation,
Has always lead me into nothing
But continually running into his presence
For just 1 more chance,
The chance i might screw up
The chance i might not screw up
But the chase still consist of
Sin chasing me,
Me chasing God

colossians 3 (3 piece poem )
written on October 11, 2011 at 12:27am
Col 3
  Induction 1-4
Let death come knocking at the door
Empty house shall he meet
Who resides in that house?
None, least even furnitures
For my journey requires no house to reside
No furnitures nor land to look back upon
To tender and cater;
My eyes transfixed towards the clouds
Above birds and skylines
Away...
Away from the earth
Gazed fixed tight upon zion
Where HE dwells
Upon HIS indescribable throne
At the right hand-side of a God
A God who dosent just gazes down
But rules in the affairs of men...
  A real life...
Might neither be in this life
Nor seen with this eyes
But certainty assures me i shall
Behold him in HIS glory
For i have chosen to die
And walk with and in HIS path
  So death do not bother
Fruithless effort equals tiredness
For have left the old house
Do not look for me
For where i am you cant find me
But those
Who came in contact with me
Shall relate to you and shall say
"The man whos eyes are fixed to the clouds"
And those who know little of me shall call me
"the cloud gazer"
  ___________death 5-11__----__________
  When i speak of death
I enlist fornication, uncleanness,
inordinate affection,
evil passions and greed
To the label
For in this things i once walked
And wrath was delivered
  When i speak of death
I also speak of anger, wrath,
malice, blasphemy,
filthy communication out of the mouth.
  When i speak of death
I speak of my oldself
One who seizes not but lies
But if we
Neither seek past habits
Nor deeds
But daily renewal of oneself
In knowledge according to the image
Of HIM who created him
Then we can say to death
"Death be not proud"
For your earnings are ordained
By the choices of men and God
For there is neither greek
Nor Jew,
circumcision nor uncircumcision,
Barbarian, Scythian,
bond nor free: but
Christ is all, and in all.
  ---------character 12-17----------
  I build up a character
One which is neither tainted nor scared
And if so be
I start over
For every temptations and tests
Can only make me stronger
Never weaker
For been called by HIM whos in all
To be holy
Holy as tempest and storms rages from left to right
To be kind
When been slapped left and right
Neither was i bounded nor ignorant to fight back
But to be humble within it?
Even as people take me as a fool still add meekness to the fire
So I could yet still be tempered
Ontop of it. To prove my worth
That it isnt a one day thing
I shud embrace longsuffering
Would people then think HE
Me? A fool for those things?
But how else can i show am no fool?
And if so they thinketh that i shall add love
Within the equation
To not show man but God that
Indeed i love thee
And love thee not with my mouth
Or mind or words
But my actions preceeds all
    Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,
do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

"In a world where poetry resides Men choose to wage war" Who are we? We are neither the creators Nor the alpha males at the top Of the food chains Yet we wreck havoc Men on mission? Nay More like men of Intrusion We had only two job One: Be fruitful and multiply Two: serve the maker Yet we wreck havoc In a world where poetry resides Men choose to wage war Making battles they can't win Attempting to build bridges With war foundations Seeing as love was too hard In a world were poetry resides How hard is it to look at another man Eyes gazing upon his fellow eyes and say "I love you" Without bearing malice Neither ill will Nor intent to dominate Why don't we bridge the gaps With love But.... When men have forsaking God... For God is love and If God we love We have love For love is God Now if we all believe in one God God is then a bridge In a world where God resides Men choose to wage war Wars to create an existing bridge That already resides For God is love And love is poetry And poetry is love And love is God
