Didn't they also act like Carol is superior avenger because she is a woman? She is so op comparing to the other heroes

I don't think they did, no. The thing with Carol is that it's not about the strength of her powers, her weakness in the movie is that she doesn't remember her life or who she is so she has to trust those around her at a time when she finds out the man who had been training her and leading her had been lying to her and betrayed her when she was the most vulnerable.

Additionally she is also faced with the reality of what the Skrulls have gone through at the hands of the Kree.

The movie shows her unwillingness to conform to the Kree's strict rules (she resorts to humour a lot, she doesn't follow rules, she enjoys her powers a little too much, she's connected to her emotions) and the more time she spends away from them and Yon-Rogg the more we see that who she is forced to be in Hala is not at all who she truly is.

So I don't think she's shown to be superior to anyone in the movie, in fact she has to rely a lot on Fury and Maria and then the Skrulls, she doesn't always have the answer and some things she tries she fails at, she's a little cocky (and god I love her for it) but she never uses the pain and the trauma she went through against anyone, she apologizes, she's sweet and badass....

I think perhaps some people focus on her powers and think she's too OP which makes her superior and uninteresting but that's not the best part about her character. I mean, I love to see her having so much fun with her powers but she's so much more than just that.
