It hurts my heart how defeated Nesta is in in HOFAS. Rhysand and Cassian need to fuck off and go jump and die in a ditch somewhere. I'm all for killing every member of the Inner Circle but Rhysand and Cassian have gotta go first. EMBER QUINLAN MY QUEEN!!!! Oh how it warmed my heart to see Ember stand up for Nesta. The mother Nesta deserved, the mother that would bring Nesta back from her defeat in HOFAS. Strong, fierce, experience with assholes like Rhysand; she dealt with the Autumn King after all. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THE INNER CIRCLE???? FIRST TAMLIN NOW NESTA??? BOTH OF THEM SAVED THEIR SORRY ASSES. NO GRATEFULNESS WHATSOEVER. FUCK OFF! I might just write Ember Quinlan and Nesta Archeron bonding and kicking Rhysand and Cassian's asses once and for all. Also, it amuses me how both Bryce and Ruhn don't think Rhys is worth jack shit either. It's almost like nobody likes the Inner Circle outside of their little cult meetings.

Katara's Lightning: waterbending technique

Part 1

Book 3 provided some very good ideas for alternative uses of waterbending. Everyone knows bloodbending, one of the most powerful and conceptual techniques. In principle, I think the episode with Katara mastering this ability is the most interesting in the season.

But not only because of bloodbending, but also because of creative ways to obtain water. Get it out of the plants! Or even out of thin air! This opens up so many possibilities that, unfortunately, weren't explored during the season. Maybe this was considered in comics or LoK, but I would like to talk about my version of the development of the concept.

I was very interested in controlling water in the air. I thought that this was a very revolutionary approach, because you need to get water from essentially nothing, it’s difficult and at the same time convenient. A source of water is always at hand, great!

However, the question is: is this all? Is it really impossible to go further and develop the ability in some other way? Lately I have been very interested in this question, and my reflection has taken me in an unexpected direction.

I thought about storm clouds. We have already been shown how, together with an airbender, even an inexperienced waterbender can control clouds. However, in the future, when Katara develops her skills, she may well be able to cope with this task herself. Clouds are made of water, and thanks to Hama, she clearly learned to feel the element on a more subtle level and control it even in the air. Making water particles move in the sky might not be that difficult for her.

And imagine how cool it would look during the invasion of the Fire Nation. If Katara didn’t just fly on Appa and destroy airships one by one, but carried a thunderstorm across the sky, like Storm from the X-Men. Bad weather would prevent the air force from entering the battle, and rain would help the waterbenders on the ground and prevent the firebenders from fighting. This would not only be visually powerful, but also quite useful.

And then I thought about what happens in a thunderstorm. Lightning. The firebending technique can essentially be summoned by the opposite element! This idea amazed me…

Let's start with where lightning comes from in nature. In simple terms, when small water crystals of different sizes move very quickly inside a thundercloud and collide with each other, they form opposite charges in different parts of it. The result is natural lightning. That is, all that is needed is to be able to control the water particles in the air, and, as we know, Katara has learned this.

Imagine if, during the same invasion, she had gotten too caught up in creating a storm. The ice particles collided so quickly that at some point, lightning appeared in time with Katara's movements. Powerful, uncontrollable, dangerous. She and Appa were in the middle of a storm without any preparation or protection, it was scary. But at the same time exciting and intriguing. How does it feel to realize that you can create magic of the opposite element? This can't help but stun you.

But Katara would have to restrain herself. I don't think she liked it, but she didn't want to put Appa and herself in danger. As a result, the thunderstorm she created was not half as powerful as it could have been.

Why is it important? Because in my perception this is not just a technique. I feel like the storm, and in particular the lightning, in this case represents Katara herself in book 3. Remember her rage in the episode "Southern Raiders" when she expressed long-buried feelings about the loss of her mother. Remember how long and painfully she nursed Aang after his death, and subsequently experienced enormous stress in “The Puppetmaster” due to bloodbending. I think Katara needs some emotional release (which she got in "Southern Raiders", but more on that in part two). And lightning could personify that internal energy that strives outward.

Remember how Katara's anger manifested itself in book 1 through its effect on the water around her? What if it got bigger because Katara grew up as a master?

This time it is very dangerous to give in to feelings like this and turn them into the element, because Katara is not able to control the lightning itself, only create it. This can seriously hurt her herself, as well as those around her, just like words and deep resentments (for example, towards Sokka for not grieving the loss of their mother as much as she does). Therefore, there is nothing left to do but restrain the impulses of rage and irritation.

Perhaps she would even refuse to create new storms. Unfortunately, without someone who could control the direction of the lightning, she cannot guarantee the safety of herself and the people around her. But where can she find such a handyman?..

Bigg TL;DR : Too much potential wasted

FR places huge emphasis on how the Shade was a huge force to be reckoned with. At the end of the Third Age, the Shade had broken the barrier and clearly destroyed "their best ward", before leaving.

In the Gaoler story, there is a huge emphasis on being "Shade-touched", and the Gaolers make it a serious duty of imprisoning Horrorbeasts, which are massive Shade creatures. There is massive potential of what these beasts could be and from just smelling it, anything from just a drop of Shade to full corruption is taken seriously.

Think of Code Corrupter from Halo : they are to be eradicated as swiftly as possible because they are just that strong.

Bounty Of The Elements Core Rewrite :

What I'm saying is, Bounty of the Elements could be the events of the Lightning Flight screwing a massive leyline that runs through Sornieth, causing a HUGE shockwave that causes the other stories to happen.

This could inadvertently reawaken many elemental energies and lines, but also cause Shade fragments to awaken, and also revive Ancients that have been extinct for a long long time. Some are properly reawakened and normal, but most of them have already fallen prey to the Shade of a war long long ago...and become monstrosities...thus what we have in the Fortress of Ends!

The result, the uncorrupted / still sane Ancients try to find their way to get help / help the poor Modern dragons and Beastclans that are confused by all these Horrorbeasts. The Ancients,Moderns and Beastclans can then share their knowledge to try at the very least contain the Shade's influence.

To me, the Gaoler are almost perfect lore and designwise. The only things I would change would just be the stubby wings and fully convert them to muscular arms that are for beating down enemies. They are jailers and they would need a TON of power to muscle rampaging Beasts.

This makes them formidable warriors, but should any ever be corrupted, they are hell to deal with.

Chicken was the literal first thought to mind and that thing hurt to look at. The banescale are mentioned to be huge fans of crafting and armour and this is a huge massive point -- they could have been capable of things that bested the Shade's attacks.

I would make their design to be more stocky akin to a typical Wyvern and have more armour plates all over. They are bulky at the top, but their wings would be leather as the Flamecaller. The armour they make would augment their already ridiculously buff scales and massive spike tail.

The Banescale would have been revived underground by the elemental energies, and would have carried on creating everything, as if time was just frozen from them. Only in the events of Temper, Temper do they realise that they can get out and realise the world has changed drastically, and on learning the situation, work with the Fire Flight's denizens to create fantastic armour with modern materials.

Just bug on the wings??? Come on man. A portal is a powerful device and there would have a been a reason they were locked away. The energies would have awakened them, and there could be a elemental reason; Shadow flight is ironically more susceptible to Shade influence than the rest of the other flights, bar maybe Plague.

The Shadowbinder is a huge huge trickster and the flight reflects that, but even more to the design of everything. Nocturnes are a, personally, imitation game gone wrong. But they have something right and it's them mimicing behaviours when needed.

The Veilspuns could have been utter masters of deceit right down to the design, based off a Leaf Insect and legs of a chameleon. Since they are tiny, they can be in the THOUSANDS, and this force would even make a Shade touched go down for the count. The massive drawback would be that the Shade easily "infects" them by the numbers, leading to whole wars between infected and normal Veils under the darkness of night.

They can teach other dragons the art of stealth, even when they are massive creatures, but requires a lot of magic, and the massive energies would be a huge help...

hc V2 almost met Gabe in Gluttony but they heard the 'Machine, turn back now...' and decided that they had to obey the one authoritive human voice they heard in hell and backtracked to Limbo.

How do you think their friendship would develop when they do meet? V2 would probably be glad to talk to someone who is somewhat sane, and maybe they would appreciate Gabe's human form or would that be a source of awkwardness?

sjdhfgfg absolutely love the idea that for ONCE gabriel's whole little speech...works. like the only reason he does it is just a left over of his chivalric values even though it seems to have no meaning to the machines - give them the chance, he guesses, but it's become an automatic script of no consequence. until v2 is like "oh...ok. understood." it's glad in a way to get some direction while gabe is like ???????? IT LEFT?????? and he can sort of feel good for a bit that maybe his words mean something to somebody still. even some machine. at the very least, it was worth keeping it up until then.

i've talked about what i think their relationship would be like a little before, but i genuinely believe they have a lot they can relate on if given the chance - they are both based in violence yet are meant to act as protectors...and ultimately, they have both failed. however, this common ground hardly means they would get along at first - they see all of their flaws in the other, they see what they perceive as their own worthlessness, and that causes plenty of friction at first. what is v2 good for, still chasing after peace down in hell? humanity is gone and it has no one left to protect, yet it's still adhering to orders and programming that has absolutely no place in this world. it's small wonder v1 bested it twice. and what is gabriel good for? an angel without a god, still behaving like some kind of knight when heaven itself as rejected him and hell is being destroyed by machines. it's no wonder v1 bested him twice. they hate seeing themselves reflected back so plainly.

they wouldn't keep it up forever as they both come to terms with their realities, both taking one too many shots that just gets turned right back on them by the other. and gabriel would eventually see it's ridiculous, how he wants v1 to have a relationship with v2 yet he refuses to be civil; and v2 realizes how dumb it is to keep throwing insults at the one guy left in hell that might still appreciate the finer parts of its mind, the part that dreams, that has aesthetic senses no other machine does. And so they would slowly become more open to one another, the ice melting between them as they find more to share in than just their failure. yet there is something comforting in that foundation, one they don't touch for quite some time - they were both made for a singular purpose, and that purpose is now gone. they exist as beings never meant to be adrift, beings that should be discarded the minute they are no longer useful.

however, i think what proves to be most important for both of them is the far more human-like connection they find in one another - v2 was trained on human social models far more than any other machine and gabriel comes from the same creator as humanity. no, neither are an exact match as v2 is still very much ai, still a war machine with a coat of paint applied, while gabriel lacks much of humanity's creativity and power to fully self-direct, but it's a far closer approximation than either would have otherwise. v2 can finally talk about its imagination, about its dreams, with someone that understands (and even helps it interpret its more metaphorical simulations)...and honestly, i think v2 would like seeing gabriel's human face. he would apologize for its appearance now, knowing that the frostbite might be jarring - v2 doesn't really mind that either, though it does have protocols telling it how it should help him it has to keep ignoring lol it likes listening to the stories he tells it, describing all the humans this face knew and the simple things he would do with them even as an angel. over and over gabriel speaks on the kindness of the humans he met (of course, he was sent from god), how he was invited into their homes and shared food with them, how they always insisted he leave with a gift no matter how he refused. it's clear he misses them in a way many angels don't, but a way v2 does despite never really getting its chance to know them. so really their connection is one filled with a lot of mourning, a lot of grief for who they were and what they lost - it's outlet for feelings that had no other place before they met.

I'm Done! I've wanted to try making an animatic for forever! It was just a matter of figuring out how to get music into csp and that turned out to be Easier Than I Thought. Was I planning on animating my beautiful girl Jan to carol of the bells as my first animatic? No. But it happened to be the holidays when i started this and i wanted to finish it while i had the motivation.

So we get this! Definitely a learning opportunity, and I think i got better as i went along? I certainly got faster at figuring out how to get mind images onto the canvas and i'm genuinely very happy with how quite a few of the shots came out!

Jan (phur in purple) is attending the annual Ice Dancing Festival in a small town by a lake as she tries to do every year. The day is lovely, phurs of all ages are skating on the frozen surface of the lake and gathering in anticipation of the later competitions. A growing glow is all the warning the phurs get before the lake is cracked open and a hydra-like elemental tears it's way from its seal beneath the lake. As the revelers scramble their way to shore across the shifting ice, Jan runs towards the hydra hoping to stop it before it makes it into town. As she throws her power at it, hoping to destroy it with sheer force, it only proves to make the situation worse and the onslaught of its many heads proves overwhelming. Thrown into the freezing lake and dazed, Jan is at first despairing over her inability to stop the hydra. She then takes a moment to realize she shouldn't try to destroy it so much as restrain and reseal it. She takes hold of the residual sealing magic of the lake and races to intercept the hydra before it can reach shore. With the full might of her magic bent towards pulling it towards the middle of the lake, the hydra proves easier to manage. It is still with no small effort that Jan is able to drag it under and reseal it under the ice, making it a problem for another day. Whether the festival will continue, or they'll call it off this year, remains to be seen.

This was mostly an excuse to animate the fight scene that plays in my head whenever this song comes on. It's more of a slice of life self-contained scene with no real effect on the overarching lore of the world. Jan is a long-time character of mine who acts as a sort of avatar of myself (she isn't a sona, more like a warlock/patron sort of vibe) and ends up living a very long time. This scene takes place on a day off earlier in her life when she's is still learning a lot of the lessons that shape her through the ages, this one being a simple: sometimes problems require a little more creative thinking and a little less brute force to solve.

The Mosley Review: Best Films of 2022

Welcome to 2023! Of course we can't start off this new year in cinema without taking a look back at the best films of the 2022. As always, I have compiled a list of the films that I personally loved and especially the ones that moved me. This year was particularly surprising and I can't wait to share it with y’all. Now you may not agree with me on some of them and that's okay. All film is subjective and you can have your opinions, but these are mine. If you want a more detailed review of each film listed, then simply click the title of each film. So, lets get to it!

Jackass Forever: In my youth, the show and films brought so many laughs, cringes and sickening feelings as these professional idiots would do the most outrages stunts that captivated my generation. When it was announced that they would return once again to bring more outrageous comedy and stunts, I was genuinely excited and scared for them. From beginning to end, the Jackass team did an hilarious and amazing job at delivering another outstanding adventure. It was great that they introduced a possible new generation of professional idiots and I'm curious to see where they go from here. It all ends with a loving, hilarious and heartfelt tribute to Ryan Dunn that was perfect. He was truly loved by the Jackass Family and fans.

Violent Night: I'm a sucker for a film that has a great amount of Christmas cheer and a great portrayal of Santa Claus. If you told me that there is a Die Hard styled Christmas film where "Scrooge" is a version of Hans Gruber and Santa is the John McClane, then I'm there opening night. This film delivered on that promise in gory and explosive creative ways. Not only did it deliver on the action, but it had such a warm feeling of a child's pure belief in Saint Nick and it was the driving force of the film. David Harbour was an amazing Santa and I loved that he went into the history of the legendary character. John Leguizamo was awesome as "Scrooge" and their scenes were great together. It will forever be on my list of must watch during the Christmas season.

Barbarian: Its such rich concept that I'm surprised it really took this long for a film about a nightmare scenario in an AirBnb. When it comes to films and especially horror films, I tend to stay away from the trailers because they reveal TOO MUCH of the creepy moments. I took a shot in the dark with this one and I'm so glad that the first trailer gave you no real idea of what the film was about and that's why I felt this film was so refreshing. I was genuinely surprised by the palpable tension of the plot, the makeup effects, social commentary and much more. The characters were excellent, but Georgina Campbell was was a true standout in a brilliant performance.

Bullet Train: The premise of the film is very much Snatch and Smokin' Aces and that was a positive in my book because even though that style is great, many have abused it over the years. This film learns from those films and takes you on one of the most smartest, funniest and exciting rides of the year. The entire cast was stellar and the action in the film was the icing on top of this wonderfully crafted dish. Bryan Tyree Henry and Aaron Taylor-Johnson stole the film as a dynamic duo that I would love to see a prequel spinoff about their characters. The amount of set up and pay off was elegantly handled in the most creative ways and I loved that each assassin was so distinct. I can't gush enough about how much I loved this film.

The Whale: Brendan Frasier, Sadie Sink and Hong Chau. Do I really need to say more?! This film was a fascinating and heartbreaking story that had amazing performances from the whole cast but the 3 aforementioned, destroy you in so many ways. Aside from his charming and fun personality, I knew Brendan had the dramatic power in him all these years and like most, the right story was waiting for him to sink his teeth in and he went all in. It truly was a powerful film about reconciling and reconnecting with family that was haunting and shouldn't be missed.

The Batman: Out of all the live action adaptations of easily the most beloved hero, Batman hasn't had a film that served Gotham and himself in his early years. This film did all of that and something that I've been waiting to see done on the big screen for decades. We finally get to see Batman portrayed in a true detective story. Robert Pattinson gets to play with a younger Bruce Wayne that's only 2 years into his vigilante lifestyle as Batman and the secrets that he finds out about his family and even Alfred, were so compelling and brilliantly designed. I loved that we got a look into the psychology of Bruce being a recluse and not yet creating that billionaire persona for the public. Jim Gordon was awesome in this film and I loved Jeffery Wrights chemistry the most with Robert. Zoe Kravitz was an excellent Catwoman and I loved her origin story. Paul Dano was a fantastic modern version of The Riddler that was heavily inspired by David Fincher's Seven and the online streamer generation of today. Colin Farrell was the MVP though as the best on screen version of The Penguin. There is so much to love and so much that they got right in this film and I cannot wait to explore this version of Gotham more. Michael Giachinno's score is as iconic as Danny Elfman's 1989 Batman score as it invokes the terror Batman brings to the hearts of criminals.

The Northman: What can I say about this film that hasn't been said already? Its the perfect and most accurate Viking film I've ever scene. The tone, the brutality, spirituality and story twists were all amazing. This was probably one of the most gorgeous films of the year as the lighting of every scene was magnificent and the fights scenes weren't overly stylized. It may be a simple story of vengeance, but it does have an emotional core that surprised me. In the end, I felt my blood pulse through my body from the sound design of the film and especially the final fight scene. This was a Viking masterpiece as the first trailer that was released promised it to be.

Top Gun: Maverick: Very few films get a sequel almost 30 years later that are of this quality. What's even more rare is that a film held out from being released onto a streaming platform and fought to be released in the theater. This film was one of those that was set to be released before the pandemic and was in limbo for so long after the pandemic. It deserved to be seen in the theater and what an experience. The sound design in this film was amazingly thunderous and visually it was everything that the late Tony Scott established in the original and director Joseph Kosinski carried on. This was actually a fantastic story about passing on the torch, family, friendship and the evolution of Maverick himself as he deals with the sacrifices he has made to protect Goose's son from following his dad's path. Tom Cruise shows why he is still an excellent actor and not just the action hero. Jennifer Connolly was stellar and Miles Teller nearly stole the film from Tom. Even though the final mission is straight out of Star Wars, this was definitely one of the best sequels ever made.

The Woman King: Talk about a film that was highly anticipated and one that rarely sold me just with 1 image. From the moment I saw the first image of Viola Davis as Nanisca, I knew this was gonna be amazing and I didn't even bother watching any trailers. This was an African epic that is based on true events even though some of it is altered for the film which if you think Braveheart was a completely accurate portrayal of William Wallace, then you may want to actually pick up a history book. This film didn't shy away from the horrible things tribes did in the slave trade and I liked that. It was also a coming of age story for the Nawi played wonderfully by Thuso Mbedu. Lashana Lynch deserves so much praise as being one of my favorite and charismatic characters in the film, Izogie. John Boyega finally gets to play someone of royalty and as the young King Ghezo, he exemplifies why he is one of the best actors out there today. The score by the great Terence Blanchard was so moving and powerful in the battle scenes and the best in the more emotional scenes as Nanisca reveals her past. There were so many juicy layers to this film and it was a joy to have witnessed it.

And we've come to the moment you've all been waiting for ladies and gentlemen. This is by far the best film of the year it must be seen by all for it features a story that everyone will feel to their core. The best film of 2022 is.....................

Everything, Everywhere All at Once: Right now the trend to do a multiversal style film or franchise is slowly becoming popular, but I doubt any of them will have the same amount of heart and depth as this film had. Michelle Yeoh has always been a powerhouse performer that has shown grace, strength and intelligence over an amazing career. Evelyn Quan Wang has got to be her most complex character yet as she portrays a mother that is struggling to keep her family business together while trying to figure how to connect with her daughter. Once we're introduced to the alternate universe versions of herself through her husband played by the great returning actor Ke Huy Quan, that's when the toppings of the proverbial bagel start to be revealed and it is a wild ride from beginning to end. Stephanie Hsu was great as Evelyn's daughter Joy and she rocked the house as the antagonistic universal threat named Jobu Tupaki. Her views on the universe, society and life were all valid and hit you hard. At the heart of all the madness, this film was truly about a daughter crying out to be heard and understood by her sometimes blind mother. It was a heart wrenching story of communication and understanding between a parent and their child that was beautiful and down right perfection. Does it get weird? Absolutely, but there is always a brilliant point to it.

1. in first place is Dainsleif, yes, i suppose i can spoil you with this one. the passion and the priniciples (and death flags) he has prob got you sobbing on the floor. he is the type of person who would think about debts too???

in emotional sense (a different way), i dont know how dain reacts to doubts and how he comforts people, does he only use words? use actions? does he inspire you to the point that those doubts are overwhelmed with motivation? no matter what it is, dain is not a heartless man, he will surely be patient with you. he is the type of person who loves you for who you are, no matter what your flaws are, such love so tender and genuine, he would be a gentle lover for sure.

2. the second one isnt a meme okay (yes it is), for some reason i could see you being compatible with gentle ones, and diluc sure fits that criteria, albeit inferior to dain in one rank.

he and dain are almost similar in actions (because i am not creative and my brain cells are spent on my assignments) but he would be a clumsy one. bet you'd be the first (and hopefully his last), he is quite careful not to ruin your relationship because he knows full well that one relationship that is built slowly thru some many years can be destroyed in just one day, and because of how he wants to perfect anything, he would be quite clumsy at that too. diluc is also a patient man (and a sly mfer fatui got no chance) and is quite understanding, hes the type who will surely spoil tf out of you by making something (because you will surely reject anything he buys with mora)

but of course, he has his own baggage to deal with, but its not like it affects your relationship so badly that both of you will feel like you're walking on thin ice. its just there. for angst purposes.

he sounds like the worse match ever because i cant bring him to justice. despite his sharp tongue and rough actions, he is actually the type who cares too much, the type who sacrifices too much (even himself) to prevent losing ANYTHING or ANYONE. he strives to conquer all because he once lost everything (mfer that quote of his made me sob like a baby), if he was your friend, he will be the type who will undoubtedly make you better (even thru uhh violent methods), a great pillar/support, he seems like the type who would try to reach the stars and you'll end up being inspired and influenced to do the same.

FEBRUARY

February has been a very silent month for me. I don't recognise myself anymore. I don't really know where I failed to turn out this way. Nowadays I purposefully destroy myself. I'm tired.

ACTIVITY

I went back to my dance classes. For the first time since my grandfathers death. I didn't think I would be able too. But I did. I definitely am not as good as when I went every week. But that's okay. I'm just human I can't be anything more then what I am right now. I can't do anything more or anything better. I just gotta keep surviving.

I think I might go back to isolating myself.

I also went ice skating. I realy missed ice skating. In total I ent two times this winter. I forgot to mention in the JANUARY post that I also went ice skating.

Ice skating is very good for me. It makes me feel better. It makes me calm down. The second time I went ice skating was a lot better. The first time was awful cause there were so many people I could barely move and I was stressed I would run a kid over. The second time was definitely better. Barely any people and much better ice quality even tho it was warmer.

SERVICE

I will try to go do service with my friends. I have to ask around what they are doing and if I can join.

CREATIVITY

I finally finished the hoodie for my friend. The matching hoodies I was posting many months ago. It took me a long time. I lost the will to do it for a long time. You just can't rush these things. Sometimes they have to just lay around for a few months until you can get back to them. I am a very sensitive person. I get extremely stressed very easily. So one thought can get me completely stuck for a few months. But I finally finished the hoodie. I got over with it. And I didn't care how it looked I just finished it, gave it to my friend and I was done with it. I can finally free myself of that burden. Now I can move on to something else.

 I know I said September 1st KST time but I came a day early at the 31st KST time before your birthday. lol GOOD MORNING KOOK!!! Hehe it’s been a minute since I wrote a letter like this. I am writing outside sitting down by the shade while blasting some music on my headphones. I just had the wildest experience before I started writing lol it is the day after my grandma's birthday. I lit a candle for her and it went out after a whole day. I like to think she came for a bit and left but what adds more to that is that just now a hummingbird came out of nowhere and just stared at me while fluttering its wings in front of my face. We were a couple inches away from each other. Lol it was majestic and beautiful as hell. It was so cute. Maybe it thought I had some nectar at the center of my face lol but hands down that was amazing. I remember talking to you in a video about how I associate hummingbirds with my grandma Elena and this interaction just made me feel her. I think she loved that I left a candle and a rose for her in my altar hehe 😊 I can’t think it is a coincidence. Well, that about sums up the first few minutes of my afternoon lmao How are you doing, best friend? Hehe, I can call you a friend now, right? I love that we went up in status 😂 I can only confirm someone is a friend if they say it first. I don’t like to assume people are my friends like I used to, partly because of my past experiences. For a while, I have been going about people in that way. I don't think I ever talked about this, but I am not one to initiate things with people. I just go with the flow and if people like me and want to be my friend I let them say it first. I think for the longest time I didn't know what it was to be a friend or have one as I was in past experiences where I thought it was friendship but it was not right for me and I was not right for people in the past. Like with love, I was in love with the idea of what friendship was and I forced myself to be about what I thought it was by what I saw others had or what I watched. These days I would rather let people decide if they want me as a friend or just an acquaintance and I am good with not forcing any label on people I come across or meet for a bit. I rather wait and see if people really are into me and my energy and if I feel cool with them and if they call me a friend first then I am lit. lol I learned the hard way that I should not push something on someone just because of a couple of interactions lol I don’t think the word “friend” should be used loosely. At least to me these days and I don't take you as someone who says things loosely either. To me, you mean serious business when you say things. Which is why I would not want to take advantage of you or anything you say. There have been many times where you have proven and shown that you show what you want to show and share what you want to share at your own discretion to us and I respect that. So, I take your friendship seriously but in the sense of how we are from afar. I know we don't know each other super personally, but just from what we choose to share with each other. 💗I love you, Kook.

   How is your morning? I had an English muffin with egg and cheese with a hash brown like one of the best potatoes lol next to tater tots but I also had an iced hazelnut coffee. 🤤 I hope you eat well today, Kook. 💪Us fire elements love food because we burn a lot of fuel. I still remember you are double Leo haha That makes you a part of the fire sign club with me, Jin (Saggitarius), Joonie (Saggitarius Moon), and Taehyung (Aries Moon) lol I read this book about fire signs and it talked about how in terms of alchemy, fire is high spiritual energy. We build and destroy but through destruction, we also are still building. That is where our creative streak comes from but it also oddly explains our bursts of energy and our need for food a lot of the time. lol I know I do. This was fun to learn but I take my fire seriously these days haha meaning I am hitting the kitchen a lot. lol

   I guess I can say first, thank you to your parents for bringing someone like you here. The world is less boring. I think for each Bangtan member and ARMY born, my world got exponentially broadened and fun. Hehe But, I would like to also thank every person in your life who has left a lasting impact on your life because without them then you wouldn’t be the person in front of all of us if I can be real. The people you hang out with and who have been with you all these years not just personally but also at work, have taken care of you so well that we get to experience you at your fullest too. 🙏❤️I am happy but also grateful to them too. 

   I guess as I am free writing this, I wish to say to the boy whom I judged, to the boy I didn’t understand before, to the person who makes me laugh, to the person who holds me as a star in the cosmos of his eyes, and to the person who became my friend, thank you for loving me in a way that does not fit within the understanding and bounds of this world. See how I went from “to the boy” to “to the person” It’s because I think that’s how vast your love can reach someone from the other side of the world. Your container is so big that you took up space in the heart of even someone as short and weird as me without me noticing over time lol and I am okay with that.  Instead of seeing you as just another label, in this lifetime, I get to see you as who you are, a creation from the universe that I am exploring and getting to know little by little each day in this lifetime. I guess what I’m trying to say is that your way of loving has this effect of pure sincerity. That’s who you are like to me. I think that once you said, “It’s beautiful and painful at the same time” about your birth flower I realized my love for someone like you is like that. It’s beautiful because I make it that way but it’s painful because I don’t know if it will ever reach the parts of you that doubt at the random times of silence you have on your own. It’s beautiful for me to think I can reach you but it’s painful because I never know if the message comes across. I guess that’s life. If I could think of an image with you it really is like a butterfly. I can only ever enjoy the few seconds you flutter around me until you are flying again wherever the wind takes you. I like to think of it as an experience that does not last forever but a feeling that does. Hehe, I guess that can explain the photos I took for you.    I got soft because I’ve been thinking a lot. I found a new love for my emotions and my writing that I am just letting what I feel out more purely. I love this new side of me haha but you get the first taste of my feelings in the moment. The people in my life are feeling differently in my energy and in my eyes and you are one of them. For me, I thought of a blue butterfly one day and I thought of my old photos and this thought kept coming back and I explored it in writing and photos. The Apothecarians

Focuses on minor dieties of healing who struggle with task paralysis and PTSD during the beginning of the first real war in their life times. They are stagnant and struggling to decide what to do until a magicless witch and her daughter Sumac come to work in their garden. Fable has trauma in spades and isn't willing to meet her employers friendliness but through many shenanigans and creative problem solving situations the Apothecarians and Fable begin learning how to communicate with one another.

This long slow burn of how do traumatized people build relationships is full of LGBTQIA goodness,random adventure, I'm breaking my hand drawing the backgrounds, the fantasy tropes are broke, there's humor, no one is all powerful, a crocodile runs a bathroom, there's multiple lores, mythos, languages etc for every region, did u know disabilities exist in fantasy? Omg???? There's integrated and diverse cities??? Like actual real life places??? There's no stupid ass evil culture or good culture. Like damn.

The Black Sheep

Remember that feeling you got when you realized a bunch of old people enlisted you in wars you didn't want to fight? Welcome to the hard-core rage of the Black Sheep: an all teen all kick ass group of sabotagers. They have fun taking back being cute, fight sex.uqlization of minors, and remind the world that a group of teens dressed in black is not to be fucked with.

kept safe under the watchful eye of an infamous sky pirate they take to the skies to defeat the war that's destroying the world. Breaking the gender binary, magic, and the laws of physics along the way.

Why? Because I fucking hate mo.e anime and I will destroy it even if it's through a stupid ass web comic.

" Troll Hunter" for lack of a better name

Takes place in this same universe where trolls with a secret plot driven sickness have gone berserk. The rest of the magical communities decide they must be put down and develop a school for Troll hunters.

It pays well and is highly respected career if not extremely dangerous given trolls are 20+ feet tall.

Our story focused on one Troll Hunter who prefers to work alone with his ice burrowing mole that he can use like a sled dog.

He believes that the trolls aren't beyond help and has a deeper relationship with them than anyone could ever guess. With the help of his epic investigation skills and medical knowledge he hopes he can develop something to save the trolls before its too late.

And " grumpy moss witch"

You ever wonder on your d and d campaign about that forbidden forest and who saves your sorry ass? Yeah that's this grumpy witch. Grumpy witch was a low graduate from witch school and has Issues they never became a fancy career witch. They just settled down in the most hazardous woodland and started rescuing the stupid people they come a crossed.

They also make cursed or blessed or just chaotic objects which they pass along to travelers.

The Blade Bakery

6 of the continents legendary assassins and thieves have banded together to retire! They've created a Bakery in an arid desert town on the gateway to the plains.

But their pasts are always just around the corner and there's a love interest at a certain bar qmd at a graveyard that has them all on edge.

Good thing they can pawn off children to their friend the grumpy witch in the woods!!! Wait what do you mean they don't exactly like kids!?

A (not very) quick rundown of my osemanverse superhero AU for those who are interested

Tori has fire powers. originally this was because i thought it would be funny but it actually works pretty well bc it contradicts the way she might appear to people and that's fun

Michael has ice powers. and yes, of course he still skates. also, can you tell i'm playing with the metaphors in Solitaire?

Solitaire is an organisation whose goal is overthrowing the authorities by giving as many people as possible superpowers

Charlie has super speed. there is no good reason for this. (it's because he got into the Rugby team bc he's fast)

Nick has super strength. there is no good reason either.

Darcy is invulnerable. this is because i think she'd absolutely love it. also because i think it goes with her personality and family background and would make for some interesting explorations

Tara has healing powers. mainly because it's the opposite of Darcys power set and i wanted to explore the ways in which those two are opposites

Elle has (as of now) no powers. she designs the costumes for the Paris Gang

Tao and Sahar don't have powers either (as of now) but they help where they can

Aled can manipulate sound. his superhero persona is called Radio. he is very likely a villain at first (this is Carols fault)

Frances can create illusions. i really wanted to bring her creativity into this. and also, can you see the whole opposites-attract-thing i've got going on here?

Carys has the same power set as Aled, but she has less control of it

Daniel has no powers because this creates an even bigger rift between him and Aled and more reason to be jealous of Frances (yes, i like making characters suffer)

Raine has no powers either. she doesn't need them

Carol is an evil scientist who experimented on her own kids and that's the reason they have powers

The Ark are a famous superhero team working for a totally-not-evil corporation

Jimmy can turn invisible because of the irony (it's great because he can escape from anxiety-inducing situations but also horrible because it makes him a very public figure. also something, something, his real self is invisible to the fans)

Lister has super speed. it's about the rush created by alcohol and the rush created by speed, i guess. also the irony of being able to run as fast as you want but also never escaping your problems

Rowan creates force fields. this is to represent his protector-energy. he can destroy stuff with them too, though

Angel has wings. yes, i desperately need the "an angel saved you?"-scene to happen in this AU.

Bliss has wings too. she hates it, though, bc she saw how stressful being a superhero is for Rowan

Juliet has wings too. i liked the idea of those three very different people sharing the same power set and eventually forming a team

The Loveless squad solves supernatural/superhero-related mysteries. okay, i'll say it. they're the Scooby Doo Gang. i'm sorry

So! this is my AU! feel free to ask questions about it, i could literally talk about it forever. i AM planning to turn it into a fic (or rather multiple) but as you can see i'm not a person with small ideas, so this might take a while.

that, or cyrus seems like the type to have a quiz every class period and lots of people cram in between periods LOL

likely to expect weird dreams starting out - some may predict the future, or expose the past. either way, as soon as you wake up its hard to recall the details…

personalities in the myth periods seem to alter between snobbish and acting all high-and-mighty (nolan comes to mind for this), or nervous wrecks trying to live up to cyrus’ weird standards pre-wizard summoning

most conjurers are not a fan of the ugly and bright yellow that's associated with the school - many would probably gear towards a warmer and less saturated color. 

(the blue and yellow combination is one of my favorites though…)

most ‘psychics’ generally come from this school - those who can see into the future, get dreams about their fate, etc...

however, i think all schools are capable of predicting the future through their own methods. myth schools simply have it the easiest and simplest way possible - through dreams (sleep).

conjurers dominate the art and literary aspects of school, though - while cyrus is not actively participating in the art club he does oversee it, and myth allows a lot of creativity to flow freely from the user’s mind.

and while other oppositional schools like life/death and fire/ice seem to get along fine, the myth/storm rivalry is on a whole other level.

‘Akumatized Marinette’ A funny prompt!

So ive seen a few different fics and posts where Lila convinces the class that Marinette is in fact Mayura and/or is working in some way for Hawkmoth, using such evidence as ‘Marinette’s never been akumatized’ and citing how sometimes Marinette’s attempts to be helpful or friendly or yes her mistakes have resulted in an akuma going after her classmates. Also other evidence like how many akumas the class has had total. But what if Lila could not convince class that Marinette was working with Hawkmoth, desperate to connect Marinette to the supervillain in hopes of plummeting her reputation Lila claims that Marinette is in fact AKUMATIZED hence her villainous actions towards Lila!

Now just follow me here:

What if the class don't believe Lila THAT MUCH. Sure Lila has them convinced that she’s a diplomats daughter and that shes got a million illnesses and physical problems and yes she even has everyone believing that she’s famous and that her and Adrien are a secret item [how scandalous!]. But no one in the class will for a SECOND believe that Marinette is working with Hawkmoth. Lila has tried broaching the subject several times, shes tried leaving ‘hints’ and pointing things out that seem ‘incriminating’ but each and every time she does the class scoff and each of them begin listing a 100 reasons why Marinette is definitely NOT a fan of Hawkmoth and would never work with him.

Frustrated but determined to connect the super villain to Marinette and alienate the girl further Lila seethes and plots. Getting more frustrated each failed attempt and trying to chew off her own sausage hair when people talk about how Marinette would definitely kick Hawkmoth’s ass. Then one day Marinette walks in with a totally new look, she’s cut her hair into a messy pixie cut and is going for a pink punk look. The look gets everyone's attention and the day is spent with everyone complimenting the baker girl [she even gets asked out by a few of the guys in the other classes] frustrated that everyone is paying attention to Marinette instead of herself Lila cant help but make up some big lie about how Marinette assaulted her and stole her money.

The class is justifiably shocked! They have been especially protective of Marinette and her reputation ever since she was expelled and nearly akumatized so more then a few of them start yelling at Lila even Alya who normally sides with Lila due to her belief that her designer friend is jealous is furious at Lila for making an accusation like that! Desperate to recover from the poorly timed and worded lie she’s made Lila thinks fast and comes up with a scheme just crazy enough to work! She claims that obviously it wasn’t ACTUALLY Marinette, no it was the horrible akuma MARIONETTE! The class blinks taken aback but they can’t help but ask what Lila is talking about.

The italian smirks feeling sinister pleasure course through her. She begins weaving her sob story tale! About how Marinette had snuck into one of Adrien and Lila’s photoshoots! Where the poor baker girl saw them *gasp* KISSING! Poor Marinette heartbroken and distraught was akumatized into the horrible monster Marionette! Who stalked Lila home and attacked her! She goes on to claim that the Marinette who was in class today was NOT in fact their good friend rocking a new style and haircut but was instead a vicious akuma after all why do you think Lila was keeping so far away from Marinette all day? She’s TRAUMATIZED after her ordeal and now Marionette the akuma is attending class as if she were Marinette! How terrible could Hawkmoth be to be using their heartbroken friend like this!

The class doesn’t want to believe it, but it makes such perfect sense Marinette WOULD be heartbroken by seeing Adrien the ‘love of her life’ kissing Lila her main rival! And just yesterday Marinette looked completely normal with her cute little pigtails and her signature outfit! She never told any of them she was even GOING to get a haircut! And surely if Marinette was going to make such a big change in her appearance she would have told her bestie Alya right?

But now what is the class to do? Poor Marinette is akumatized and they have no idea what to do or what her object could possibly be! Max, always the logical one concludes that they should simply contact Ladybug and have her help poor Marinette! Lila quickly jumps in claiming she already tried contacting Ladybug OBVIOUSLY since the pair are besties! But that Marionette tricked Ladybug into believing she wasn’t akumatized at all! “No!” Lila laments, “were going to need to take care of this ourselves!”

The class is resolute determined to help poor Marinette without the help of Ladybug who has fallen for Hawkmoth’s most clever trick yet. But Lila is quick to warn them that they MUST be careful after all Marionette is a VERY powerful akuma, they cant know for sure the true extent of her terrible powers or when or WHO she might attack next! Lila fears that it will be poor Adrien or perhaps herself again! Insert fake sobs here. The class vow to protect Lila and Adrien from Marionette, and Alya who believes she’s best equipped for this situation since she IS Rena Rouge takes charge of the situation, they decide that no one is allowed to be alone with Marionette and NONE of them are to let the akuma know that they are on to her! They need to play the long game and figure out what her akumatized object is so that they can snatch it and free Marinette from Hawkmoth’s dastardly clutches!

Lila rejoices believing that she’s finally achieved victory, the class now think that Marinette is a dangerous monster and will isolate her, not to mention Lila now believes she can make up any lie she wants about Marinette and that the class will unquestioningly believe her! She goes home with a pep in her step eagerly plotting for all the lies and perks she can get from this newest lie and decides to eat a whole tub of ice cream to celebrate her cleverness, unaware that she’s just signed the ticket for her defeat.

You see the class LOVE Marinette, she’s their friend, and ‘learning’ that she’s been turned into some sort of monstrous extremely clever akuma is both a suprise and none at all. Later on as they all chat in the newly made text group Max points out how it was obvious that Marinette would become the most dangerous and clever akuma shes the smartest person in class besides himself and extremely creative and resourceful. Rose laments about how hurt Marinette must be and how they simply MUST save her as soon as possible. Alix curses Hawkmoth out and claims that the sick freak was probably TARGETING Marinette for awhile now because of how awesome she is. Nino and Kim cry about how their childhood bff needs them now more then ever! And Alya tells them to get ready because they cant abandon Marinette now that she needs them most!

The next day Lila comes to class ready to spin another tale about how the vicious akuma Marionette destroyed her room last night! And while the class do listen and tell Lila that it sucks that happened they seem noticeably... Distracted. When Marinette walks into the room the class practically explodes, Rose and Juleka INSIST that Marinette sit behind them so they can talk! Everyone has some sweet compliment to give to the baker reminding her about how wonderful she is! Lila’s jaw drops open as her classmates practically rush to hug and touch and talk to what they believe is a horrible monstrous Akuma! And it doesnt end their.

Lila asks Alya to hang out at the mall? She cant her and Nino are going to be on ‘Marionette’ surveillance tracking the akuma to see what shes up to and if she might show her akumatized object! Lila decides to try woo Mylene and Ivan into letting her handle their charities ‘finances’? Mylene starts crying about how the charity was Marinette’s idea before she got akumatized and now she might not even remember how amazing it was when shes eventually de-akumatized Lila cant stand hearing them talk about her enemy and gives up her pursuit of the funds. Lila decides to hang out with Kitty Section? They invited Marionette to every show hoping Luka would notice that she’s an akuma and use his amazing intuition to help free poor poor Marinette!

Instead of ostracizing the girl Marinette is now invited to every big event, and is constantly being showered with compliments and love as if the class believes that just loving Marinette enough will be the thing that ‘de-akumatizes’ her. “At least they wont let her anywhere near myself or Adrien.” Lila thinks bitterly as she gets her 5th warning that day that Lila might want to sit out the class going to the movies together with MARIONETTE.

During this time the class has been pulling off various ‘heists’ slowly going through each and every one of Marinette’s belongings to check if its the akumatized object. And I do mean every single belonging. Her sketchbook was ruled out within the first few days same with her signature earrings it was Kim who checked those and it involved a complicated plan involving taking Marinette swimming and having Kim fake a drowning in order to get close enough to ‘Marionette’ to check the studs. Luckily for Tikki, Ondine who was also at the pool decided to save Kim instead and the poor jock got quite flustered when the swimmer performed CPR on him.

Nino and the rest of the boys are the ones tasked with breaking into Marinette’s room while the girl is away on a sleepover with the girls. In order to ‘test’ each object in her room for the source of the akuma. They got a bit too loud and had to make a last minute escape when they heard Tom and Sabine going into fight mode. Poor Nino wasn’t fast enough and was forced to lie through his teeth that he’d been trying to surprise Marinette with a hangout like when they were little kids. [poor kid ended up drinking hot cocoa with Tom and Sabine as they showed off embarrassing baby pictures of Nino and Marinette together]

After about a month or so of shenanigans including a very embarrassing incident involving the entire class accidentally spying on Marinette’s first big date with Luka/Kagami/Felix/Damian [just pick one they are all great ships] and them getting caught red handed thanks to Alix and Kim roughhousing and making a scene at the nice restaurant. And another incident that Alya refers to only as the ‘duck incident’ [Nino can no longer be around birds or feathers] the class is no closer to learning where Marionette’s akumatized object is. And Lila Rossi who thought she’d be bathing in her victory is on the verge of screaming if one more person ignores her!

How does it end? Well maybe the class stage an intervention hoping they can free Marinette with the power of love only for Marinette to fall off of something laughing when she learns what Lila’s big lie was. Maybe Lila finally snaps and screams when she hears the class lament about POOR Marinette for the billionth time. Maybe the class try breaking absolutely everything Marinette owns, Maybe Juleka points out that its kind of weird that Marionette the akuma doesn’t really do... anything? And can change clothes? Can akuma’s do that? No right??? Aren’t their clothes like melded to their body??? Maybe the class finally get Adrien thinking he can ‘fix’ Marinette only for him to very confusedly tell them hes not dating Lila and has never kissed her and what Marinette akumatized??? Maybe The class recruit Luka and Kagami, Marinette’s other friends only for them to have a great laugh at the class before pointing out the literal mountain of things wrong with everything they just said.

- Carol and Loki have obviously met before but it would’ve been when Loki was sneaking out to explore the universe after bed time

- Carol chilling in a bar and Loki who was not very creative and disguised themself in their female form

- Loki was probably swindling gamblers and also destroying them in arm wrestling when Carol decided she’d seen enough and joined and hoo boy she went !!! at a space lady friend to add to her collection

- next time they meet is at a different shady betting ring where Loki’s climbing ranks in the field as a guy while she’s investigating possible shapeshifting spies behind the scenes

- Carol recognises him and is like “hey” all casually meanwhile Loki is surprised she knows it’s the same person despite the gender change (she actually thinks Loki and Loki are twins or something despite being on a mission involving shapeshifters BUT it clicks later!!)

- Loki getting caught swindling but it’s partially Carol’s fault so she bails him out (breaks him out—)

- both have Tesseract-like powers and joke that they have a connection

- Carol only lets people she’s close with care for the cat while she’s out there in the universe avenging and the Captain Marvel 1 gang comes into this and so does Loki

- Thor having no idea Carol and Loki know each other from before and never connecting the dots

- Carol and Loki absolutely pestering the living Helheim out of Fury while Talos records their shenanigans

- “funny how I should have red blood and you should have blue but here we are” “I’m going to steal your blood” (everyone else is concerned bc Loki but Carol just goes “try me” bc she knows Loki ain’t no violent punk b*tch)

- they’ve got each other’s numbers saved as “doppelgänger”

- Loki complains Carol’s hair reminds him of Thor and Carol complains his reminds her of Nick’s

- they’re not into gossip but replace it with truth or dare and HOO BOY you do NOT want to get caught up in that when one of them is indestructible and literally connected to a star while the other can’t die and does magic

- Carol can appreciate Loki being dramatic, even though showing off and being flair-y isn’t her thing

- Loki finds the photon blasts super cool and always tells her to blast random things, often for no reason

- they were both lied to about who they were and when you’re in space and need a hug they will provide

- they’re BOTH the mom friend but also the impulsive idiot they literally only get out of things alive because of how powerful they both are lmao they do actually have plans they just completely ignore it at the first chance to follow it

- “don’t tell me what to do”

- Loki totally tries to get Maria/Carol (or Val/Carol) together and wingpersons them eagerly

- Loki didn’t have many friends and Carol was the first person he admitted he was ace to, though he didn’t have a word for it

- Loki rolls up to the kree ship whenever he wants and everyone in the empire who rotates through is used to him just appearing

- Carol tried visiting Asgard once but she interacted with Odin 1 time and decided never to go back (Loki agrees it’s a wise decision, suggests Midgard to meet up instead.)

- Carol visits earth quite frequently, she just doesn’t tell Fury every single time she lands, and has him convinced she’s far too busy so only call her in an emergency

- Carol hears about New York and finds the entire thing hilarious

- Loki shows her that Tess can project a body first and it’s because “they want to apologise for giving you a nosebleed and magic star powers”

- Carol fretting over Loki and Tess dating but not in a shovel-talk way only in a hyping-them-up way

- Carol will shoot at Loki when frustrated and he doesn’t even have to look up from his task he just goes “what’s up this time” and that’s the opening to rant about how idiotic the new scouting system is and how it doesn’t even work any better to detect Skrulls

- Loki sharing anecdotes and Carol going ‘dude that’s lowkey messed up... do you know that’s messed up??’

- age jokes. Carol always uses hypothetical earth years when referring to Loki and he always pretends she’s an ancient entity

- coddling Goose and giving lil scratches ESPECIALLY if Fury is around to show off
