you know i do wonder how many sonic characters actually have living parents. like knuckles is the last of his kind so obviously his parents arent around anymore. both guys who could be considered shadows dads are 100 percent confirmed dead. sonic is canonically an orphan im pretty sure. and on the other side of the coin cream is like the only character in the game cast who has a living parent we actually see onscreen. but what about everyone else i dont think theres a straight answer for any other character. other than rouge's mom being mentioned a couple times i Guess but we dont even know anything about her or if shes still alive just that she existed at some point. are these kids constantly putting themselves in danger because they dont have parents around to stop them or because their parents just dont care

what's your favorite book? if you don't have one, what's the book you read most recently?

I don't read many books, the most recent I finished was hp3 and it sits on my shelf and makes me want to rip it into pieces. The last book I tried to read and did enjoy was Black Prism by Brent Weeks, some friends and I were reading it!! unfortunately, I SUCK at reading books, I cant focus on the page right, and PDFs are hell for me as they don't save where I was at and I'm a reader who goes in and out of reading a lot as I get distracted.

I do mostly read fanfiction but haven't been reading any lately either, two of my favourite fic in this fandom is "No Rest for the Wicked" and "A second chance from beyond the grave" and outside of dsmp fandom one of my favourite is "As N Approaches Infinity"

I'd actually been reading as n approches infinity when I came up with my dsmp ma/doka au ! :D

I just remembered a crazy ass bit of a dream i had last night and ok let me type before i forget

I was reading a comic by 0xeyedaisy and it was an angsty one with Grian. My dream was literally a comic in their art style. He was inside a jail ceil kneeling on the ground, the floor was dirt and he was trying to dig underneath the bars the dialogue for that panel started with something like "this is a different type of sadness-" the next panel was the same thing but Grian had his hands on his face the narration was comparing that sadness to something really deep but i don't remember what.

Next thing the dream stops being a comic format and it's more like a video (but Grian is still a drawing and remains a drawing for the rest of the dream). I'm watching Grian escape the jail and run through long empty dark gray corridors. There's people after him we do not see them but we know. Eventually he finds a door. It leads to a tiny square room with a door on each one of the walls. He tries to close the door behind him but the ones chasing him caught up and are pushing against it.

Grian SCREAMS and SHOUTS like his life depends on it while trying to push the door back with his entire body, i feel my dream self scream with him, angry and crying with the effort.

Until a voice comes from the other side of the door saying "Grian calm down it's just me. Open the door."

Grian opens the door and it's fuckin Jacksepticeye there. He is holding an exe but we know he won't hurt him. He is like "let's get out of here they're coming"

So they're both in this tiny room and they have to pick a door. There's no much time, so they pick one at random and stumble out falling on the floor on the other side.

They come out in a quaint barber shop. As if they just came from the employees-only backroom. The owner was cutting some guys hair and looks at those two men all dirty and tired from running. He doesn't have time to say anything bc from the same door the people that were chasing grian and jack barge in too, tho we do not see them.

The chasers weren't able to do anything. The barber shooed then out telling them to stop harassing his two employees that they were disrupting his business. We don't know who this barber is but we knew he was making an excuse to help and that they were now safe

So that's how Grian and Jacksepticeye started working on a barber shop to cover up for their crimes(?) I guess
