Things to do when bored because seriously

Hi guys, this is my first ever post and I’ve been hella bored since school has officially ended for me (like what? a month now but whatevs I’m still bored) and I’ve looked everywhere for things to actually do when I’m bored but nothing really *piques* my interests. I guess this is up to you guys if you want to do it or not, I am simply here to give my ideas on what I do to pass time and some generic things, but I’ll try to spice things up. Enjoy : D

1. Go to pinterest and make a vision board of your dream life (You could add the house/job/type of love/pets/car/places to travel/frienship groups that you would want).

2. If you’re desperate like me and want to move out, you can also create a vision board of your dream home in pinterest (add the furniture you like and what you would want to include in your future home such as cool rooms like a secret library or a movie theatre).

3. Go on roblox - like seriously, it’s so fun. Even better with friends, huddle up on skype or discord and game all night, or day. Or play by yourself. Some good recs are Project Lazarus (A zombie shooting game), Hide and Seek (Deadass what the name says), Speed draw! (A drawing competition game) and Speed run 4 (Basically what the name says).

4. Download wattpad and read some weird fanfic, I haven’t touched Wattpad in a long time but I know it has some weird fanfics there, and I bet you’ll laugh so hard. I haven’t done this but go ahead and write “weird fanfics” and it’ll come up an example of funny fics might be with the weirdest people like “Tom holland and Jeffree Starr” (that’s acc terrifying). I remember one being “Trump and Obama fanfic”.

5. Go on Virtual Piano and play some tunes - Even if you’re not a pro at playing the piano just try to find the right note of the song and play the melody, or press a bunch of notes lol. It’s fun and honeslty you feel like a musician lmao.

6. Write a letter to your future self. Do it rn. It’s honestly such a good thing to do, not only do you waste time but it’s literally a time capsule where you open it in like 5 years or longer. You’ll look back and think of how much times have changed, plus it’s really meaningful. You can write about certain topics like about how much have you think you’ve changed in 5 years time and guess about how you look like in the letter, or If you got your dream job in 5 years. Or did you meet the love of your life by then? It’s up to you.

7. Take time to actually watch something fun. Please do. Either it be a documentary or a movie or a gameplay on youtube - do it. Idk if it’s just me but I don’t like watching videos, especially movies for some reason. I just like to skip parts because I want to get straight into the action and watch the plot but if you actually find the right video to watch then automatically you’re hooked. Go buy tickets to that movie you wanted to watch in theaters or watch the show you wanted too all along on Netflix. Or binge watch some old childhood shows. Some recs I can give is Heartstopper (LGTBQ+ show), The walking dead game (Zombies duhh), Brooklyn 99 (Detectives + comedy in a nutshell) and Wild babies (Wild life docuseries) and Totally spies (Childhood cartoons).

8. Make a face mask - I don’t really like putting on face masks (I don’t like the wet and cold texture on my face) but there are a lot of pros of making one and lathering it up on your face. You can get rid of your acne and pimples, it rejuvinates your skin and makes your face look shinier. Go on google and search for a real face mask that you can DIY.

9. Make a list of countries you wanna visit and make an itinerary of it. Wanna travel soon? Good time to do this when you’re bored, am I right? Look into countries like Spain, South Africa, Vietnam or Colombia and go into detail about the things you want to do there and even plan out the hotels and activities you’ll do and go to. Put in gorgeous pictures of the place or some video links to remind you of countries you need to go to ASAP hehe.

10. Make a survival plan for fictional events, like a zombie apocolypse or an alien invasion. I am obsessed with zombie apocolypses (Mainly because of TWDG lol) so it’s fun to think of ways to escape and the gear you might wear, how you’d escape with your group of friends and what you might bring along with you. E.g if I was in a zombie apocalypse i’d wear leather jackets, bring a pocket knife, my transport would be a bicycle etc. If you want to, make up a mini story about the fictional event and how you would survive!

Alright, that’s all that I have because that’s all that I’ve done during my holiday, no fr LMAO. Hopefully that’s a bit different than your usual ‘things to do when you’re bored’ list, well not quite, I do have some already known things on the list but i’d recommend you to do it. Ik you guys might think that some things on the list are boring but for me I had lots of fun doing it, so hopefully they are to you lot. Have fun not being bored, toodles :P

so uh i’m kinda getting the urge to make a lot of seb gifs; i also still wanna change my ao3 icon/make a seb gif for it (i know exactly what i want) ... i also am getting the urge to write... and i also wanna play cities skylines. perhaps i should do one more day of CS, and tomorrow i’ll probably have more of that nagging feeling of wanting to write? (i also have Actual Work to do, but it’s not urgent, and it’s really boring, so it’s not being done sksjnkfjgnfkg)

so there was one day where i only played CS for a few hours, so i never made a progress report/post on it.

ANYWAY, as for yesterday, well i spent most of the day playing CS haha... even though the anarchy mod broke gkfjngkfjkfdj. anarchy makes your life so much easier... plus i couldn’t do some stuff yet without that mod so i just left it unfinished. anyway i hear it’s working again so hopefully when i start up/get into the game, it all works fine!

i mostly worked on Bottom last night. i gave it a metro station, which i may change to a train station... idk yet. not really clear how i should use metros tbh because we only got metros really recently

i made a metro depot/repair yard (yeah i know it doesn’t look right with those tracks, that’s why idk if i’m keeping it as metro (if the tracks i got today with wires overhead work, then yeah maybe) or changing it to trains (after the train traffic jams i got in my previous big city, i wanna stick to metro, or have train lines entirely separate from the intercity/cargo ones)):

I’m doing this cause I’m bored and sick at home lol. I’m gonna try to do it all tonight lol. I kno that’s not how ur supposed to do it.

1. Hight: 5’9, CW: 232, SW: 244, GW: 150 , UGW: 100-115 (whatever I look best at mostly, I’d be happy at 120, but I don’t think that’s gonna be small enough. It’s not rly about numbers so much as aesthetics for me)

2. I’m 5’9. Yes, I like my height, but a lot of the dudes where I live say I’m way too tall to be attractive. No taste.

I like her slender and elegant body, but she still looks strong enough to seriously injure a misogynist lol.

4. I’m scared my hair will fall out, which is important since I’m queer and all the homosexuals like fluffy hair. I’m scared about loose skin cause I have a high sw. I’m scared I won’t be strong anymore, which is smthn I take great pride in, and I’m scared about brain fog cause my grades are super important to me.

5. I’m losing weight because I want to be beautiful, and I want to be able to have a shot at the ballet industry. I think I’m doing it mostly for me, but a lot of it is for social acceptance.

6. I binge rly bad. I think it’s because healthy food takes forever to prepare, but also, I’ve been diagnosed with BED.

7. The know I’m trying to lose weight, but they don’t know I’m Ana.

8. I don’t actually do a specific one atm. I burn about 3500 kcals by just existing, cause im a rly active person. I want to start tho, cause ballets off rn. Comment any ideas that you think I should try!!!

9. No, not really.

10. Sugar and carbs. They’re sooo addictive lol.

11. Right now this second it’s @hellokittybubble, because I saw a list of tips on their page. Idk if it was theirs originally, but they have a lot of good stuff on their blog lol.

20. Im doing the abc at the moment with one of my buddies ( dm me if u want to be buddies, I like friends!!!). It’s going pretty well. I honestly absolutely love all those themed diets tho. It’s so cute.

21. Fun question. I wear a large if we’re being technical lol. Me personally, the bigger the better tho. I will wear 3x and no one can stop me. I want to be able to fit an xs.

22. I don’t rly have a lowest weight, I’ve always been kinda fat.

23. Yes and no. I wanted to be muscular for a long time so that I could look like black widow, but I can’t look like her and do ballet. Her story was DEEPLY inaccurate lol. She’s still beautiful and my role model tho.

24. I don’t rly have opinions on them. I’m using the tags for this so I guess I like them.

25. I’ve tried to purge a bunch of times, starting when I was about 12. Ya gorl ain’t got a gag reflex tho lol.

26. Being beautiful and feeling good in my skin

27. Mostly I binge a lot lol. But when I do stay strong, grosspo and fantasizing about the future of being skinny helps a LOT

28. Sort of, but it’s not totally necessary for me, I mostly want a tiny stomach and waist and arms.

29. For everyone else, beauty comes from within, for me, beauty is being perfect.

30. 1. I was homeschooled for the first 16 years of my life 2. I want to be a tattoo artist and piercer or an esthetician OR something to do with film when I grow up, 3. I’m sick rn 4. I’ve been in ballet since I was six, 5. I was the first female wrestler at my highschool, but I got kicked off after 3 days cause of something to do with homeschooling lol, 6. I have orange hair, 7. I love art, 8. I’m obsessed with the pirate core aesthetic and dream of dressing like that irl someday, 9. I’m in theatre (shocking I know) 10. I’m a makeup addict

The past two weeks since I graduated

- watched a season of riverdale. It’s so entertaining but I’ve stopped at s2e3 may continue sooner or later but I’m already feeling it start to fall off. Idk normally I can’t stand how stupid cw shows are but this one just has me tbh. I thought it was all memes but no it’s like why am I taking this drama seriously

- played the sims 3 and started a simblr. I’m trying to do a 10 Gen legacy challenge and my 3rd Gen are kids rn. The 2nd Gen girl was a bit of a thot she had two kids by a man and a woman using woohooer but tbh the canon explanation could be anything. I think she was born a cis girl since she was the one pregnant for both but the first Gen founder was also fruity and got Holly alto pregnant so we’re gonna say either she’s trans or there was an ivf situation. Since the baby shared their genetics though I feel like it’s mostly likely she’s trans we love that. Really hoping I don’t get bored or the save corrupts bc im kind of invested in getting as much progress on this as I can

I’m trying to update the simblr on my iPad but the iPad keyboard is genuinely so annoying like it actually hurts my hand to type and also the tumblr app is a bit shitty bc why is the poll option in the middle of the bottom bar when you make a post. And when you add a poll you can’t remove it from the post without remaking it, at least on mobile. It’s actually annoying to do this but I’ve always wanted to so we move

Generally been watching a lot of plumbella too like the sims has me ina chokehold rn. I was playing 2 a bit earlier this week but ngl while I love the interactions in 2 (the romance and cinematics especially are peak) I prefer the gameplay of 3 and the open world. Only a few things abt it annoy me like routing which is a problem in every sim game so doesn’t count and the fucking incessant phone calls. I don’t wanna turn off opportunities I just want to reduce the amount. Even the paparazzi I’ve adjusted to but the phone calls are just 😑

Finally started watching hill house again. Forgot I was watching this tbh but it’s so good. Just watched the ep where they all gather round Nell’s casket pls don’t tell me Theo and Kevin were a secret thing like Theo was supposed to be chaotic neutral lesbian representation so why tf does a man have his hands on her

My love life is… wild… and boring at the same time. Wild bc of myself. I’m a mess when it comes to love. I’ve been on like three dates these past few months and idk… I just… i don’t feel anything? Like… my friends always ask me “and? Do you want to see him again?” And i’m like… am I supposed to know that after the first date??? Bc I literally don’t feel anything… am I broken? Bro my stomach actually dropped at the end 💀. Im AFRAID OF THAT SHIT. I forgot what it’s called but yeah omg no. One thing I’ve always been afraid of maybe cus I seen it somewhere but I’ve always been afraid of someone torturing w my headphones like playing something so loud that my ears start bleeding. That’s one of my biggest fears. It kinda reminds me when you scratch a chalkboard or like that sound everyone hates but yeahhhh. Im afraid of tsunamis. Anything that has to do w water. Im actually afraid of going in the ocean like the beach cus I can’t see shit like I’m afraid of stepping on something or like not knowing what’s there bruh. I’ll go somewhere that has clear water idc. Im actually terrified my natural disasters. I forgot what that shit is called too, that thing they used to chop heads off w. I believeeee I was a slave in a past life so I’m not surprised if I died from some sort of torture. Im kinda mad, I smelled sum good rn like food like idk but it turns out it’s my perfume like BRUH wtf. That’s nice & all yeah i smell good but that was some false hope right there but anyways, im afraid of heights too. Im afraid of rollercoasters & the stomach feeling but I go on cus I be bored & I hate being that person that never wants to do shit. If I were at an amusement park, I’d go on like 95% of the rides. There are some that I know I cannot handle. Im afraid of being on the edge of sum like a balcony, im paranoid that I’ll fall or the shit will break or you know the little cracks or openings in fences, im afraid of those being too big that I end up falling not a fence tho but like that balcony thing. I used to imagine throwing myself over to the first floor from the second floor at the mall all the damn time. I was paranoid of dropping my phone from the top. Im so damn paranoid like actually wtf. Yeah water & heights & like inhumane torturing are my biggest fears. AND BUGS. ANY BUGS. ALL BUGS. I am terrified of bugs bruh. Honestly tryna joke around me about a bug & shit. I will start screaming & crying. There’s literally a video I saw of Kim k & they lied to her saying there was a bug on her & she was literally me. So like one time my family & I went to Florida & like they was putting parrots on peoples shoulder & I was like yeah no & they did it anyways like they snuck up on me & put it on my shoulder & I ruined everyone’s night. I ran away & everyone was tryna look for me 💀. I didn’t run away but I was hiding but I just wanted to be alone cus I was soooooooooo pissed. I take it so seriously cus like why would you do that. I literally said no. I feel uncomfortable having an unfamiliar animal on my shoulder. Yes I’m familiar w parrots but not like I have one of my own familiar. Im afraid of butterflies too. Anything that flies actually. I just don’t like the lack of control lol. I panic cus the way I see it, it’s like a bat flying to your face like deadass but anyways you didn’t ask but still idc. (In all seriousness I’m hoping to have some new art out soon. I’m taking an art class rn but all the prompts are kind of boring- fun to draw, but boring to look at. Once summer starts I’m hoping to draw some cool stuff again. Until then, have a sketchbook dump + some random art I forgot to post)

1. Zombie deer. I moved to a place with a lot of deer and I made this on Halloween. I really oughta go over it in ink sometime but I don’t have access to a photocopier so I can’t right now

2. Portrait of Zuko (the plant). For a while this was hanging directly above the real plant, like that meme where a guy is sitting beneath his own portrait and they look exactly alike.

3. Portrait of Mewtwo (the plant) and a different plant whose name I can’t remember. The second plant has since died, but Mewtwo is still going strong (Mewtwo is the one on the right).

4. Art class assignment. We had to draw a crumpled paper and the light kept changing so I couldn’t get a consistent model. Class ran out of time before I could finish

5. Hand with mushrooms. I actually made this way earlier in the year when I was bored in class.

6. This is actually based on a real photo of my dog on her birthday. I made her a “cake” made out of meatloaf and mashed potatoes.

7. This one makes me mad bc I messed up the perspective and it’s way too wide. Ironically, I think I drew it just to prove to someone that perspective drawing isn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to be. But yeah I was on a lemon demon kick so that’s Cabinet Man

8. The most recent in my plant tarot series. These are just little doodles I like to do in class, bc I usually can do them without a reference. The chariot is Himalayan blackberry and the tower is based on a real poison hemlock plant that I tried and failed to destroy.

9. The magician. I originally wanted to use a lichen as the magician bc they’re an amalgamation of a lot of wildly different things that come together into one much stronger thing. But I couldn’t figure out a way to draw a lichen that would be recognizable, so I just went with plants, fungi, animals, and earth. The mushroom is a destroying angel.

10. The fool. Idk why but I’ve been kinda obsessed with the idea of a dandelion as the fool. Something about it coming up in the harshest of environments and thriving anyways. Idk. It’s very messy but it’s fun to make.

K this got LONG so here's a read more!

1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?

Honestly even though I don't multi-ship often I DO usually get the appeal behind ships so this is a really short list. This will probably get me some hate but I still to this day can't get behind c/ex@ from the show that will not be named. But then again I do get the appeal of two super attractive women with chemistry and the whole ruler/ girl who makes the ruler change their ways thing. So I guess I get it even if I don't like it?

Also, and this is not to hate on Hinny, but Harry and Ginny from HP are not my cup of tea. I like what fandom has done for them but the actual content we get for them in the books (and movies, but I prefer the books) isn't enough for me to love them. Same with Mal and Alina from S & B/ Grishaverse, they're so bland to me in the books but the show is doing far better with them and actually making Mal ya know. Likeable. Again, I don't ship it, but best friends to lovers is top tier so I get it.

Oh! I also don't really get Dwalin/Ori from The Hobbit, but that is probably in large part because I'm a Dwalin/Nori shipper. Again though, all of the secondary characters' relationships in The Hobbit rely on fans to extrapolate HARD and wear extreme shipper goggles, and ik there's that scene where Dwalin helps Ori out of the river so like.. maybe that's where it's from? I don't hate it or anything but it's always something that's made me go ??? cause I have no idea where the heck it came from.

Apart from that... I can't think of any rn? I feel like I understand where all the PJO ships come from, even if I don't ship them. There are a couple that I don't understand how they can be someone's OTP, just because I find them super boring (no offense to those who ship C@leo or J@siper but I just don't love how Rick handled those relationships). In TSC I think fandom mainly vibes with the same pairings and that's true for most of my book fandoms. With the shows I watch I don't think fans majorly ship anything too out there for me. Maybe I don't interact enough with fandoms to tell. So this is all I got.

5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?

Oh my god, oh my god, this is a can of worms, my lord. A pairing I'm not so sure about, but characters? Abso-fucking-lutely. I took a break from PJO fandom for exactly that reason and the list of characters is endless honestly, for multiple fandoms.

I won't say fandom ruined Bell@rke for me cause I still ship it, but I definitely lost enthusiasm with how toxic the shows fandom was and then that was made even worse when the show completely destroyed itself with the worst writing and plots ever in the latter seasons.

Also I have a feeling that G@me of Thrones/ @soiaf ruined one for me but I can't remember this very second. Maybe not, and again that's probably cause I don't interact with fandoms en masse, usually just through fic and following a few people I vibe with in each.

6. Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?

Yes, quite a few! I used to dislike Drarry (for obvious reasons I feel) and Romione (as a kid I wanted Hermione to be with Harry and even when I grew out of that I really didn't like she was with Ron) but fandom changed that for sure. And same with Darklina now, I was upset cause I felt like the books really underutilized their relationship and fell short of what could have been a super awesome pairing if better explored, but the show fandom is taking it in so many different ways that I'm starting to really love them despite the reasons I shouldn't.

And I won't say I hated Hayffie in THG, but definitely the only reason I ship them is from reading @ellanainthetardis's fic Have a Drink Sweetheart and then all the others written for them. That portrayal of Hayffie and the characters have become my own headcanons now because I've been reading them for so long and they're so good.

Fandom made me ship Leon and Morgana from Merlin too, though that's very lowkey. I never hated them, I just never thought of them as a pairing until reading fic.

20. What is the purest ship in the fandom?

Percabeth. I don't care which fandom, it's Percabeth. Growing up together, going from enemies to friends to best friends to lovers? The establishment of them being best friends and the way Rick wrote that friendship was so pure, and they are a couple with no internal problems, all external, and you just know they're gonna be together through everything, fighting at each other's side, cause that's the way they are. There's a reason they're my OTP and it's cause they are the most well-established, ride or die couple I can think of. They're just so solid.

21. What are your thoughts on crack ships?

Love em for fandom but personally I very rarely get behind crackships just because I usually need a lot of build up, scenes, good dialogue and chemistry, etc. to ship something, so most of my ships aren't crack ships. The only one I can really think of that I actively root for and ship and would read fic for is Billy/ Owen from 911 Lonestar which is just... something.

Like idk if Barduil from The Hobbit is crack because ik it's quite popular... what makes a ship a crack ship anyway? Lack of canon reference? Is it cause they two characters would be so random together because they barely ever interact? Or because it's SO unrealistic you know for sure it will never happen but want it to anyway? Or is it lack of popularity in fandom? I need someone to define this so I have a better answer :D if it's the second option then I have MANY

I love seeing fandom stuff for crack ships though, cause seriously, it's fiction, ship who you want. If you ship two characters just cause you think they're pretty side by side then that's enough for me. Make all of the fan art and fic you like.

22. Popular character you hate?

Oof. Jason from HOO. And Leo in everything after The Lost Hero. I hated Piper in The Lost Hero and Mark of Athena but like her after those. I don't like any of the book characters from S & B except Nikolai, but I like everyone in the show (except David? Why did they make him so weird? Like he's not even awkward, he's straight up rude imo, but anyway). In @soiaf I don't like Jon Snow, I think he's boring. And I despise Jorah Mormont cause I think he's creepy for having a crush on Dany.

Didn't love Stefan in TVD, too much of a goody-two-shoes. I liked dark Stefan but it felt like a totally different character. Honestly most of the characters I don't like cause they're boring or too by-the-book.

OH! A big one in M@rvel is Captain America. Can't stand him honestly, I like him as a character to have in the story, but I like never agree with him on anything. I like a couple of his one-liners but that's it really. I also don't like Gale in THG, idk if that's controversial. Or Lex@ from the show that will not be named because I think she's manipulative and not good for any of the characters i DO love.

Is Ron popular? I think so. I like fandom Ron but not canon Ron and idk why. I think I'm growing out of it but I read those books when I was like 7 initially so I thought it was awful of Ron to stop being friends with Harry because he was jealous and I never really got over that.

There are so many but I'm gonna stop now.

23. Unpopular character you love?

Again, tons. I love anyone whose got kind of a tortured backstory because it makes them more interesting to me.

I love Movieverse Hawkeye! I think Clint is great and while I wish his deafness was canon in Marvel and I don't love J Remmer, I do love Hawkeye a lot. He was honestly one of the only Marvel characters that felt consistent and in-character throughout the movies.

I like President Snow from THG just cause I think he was a fantastic villain. And Effie and Haymitch aren't unpopular, but they're probably my favourites, again because of the fics mentioned above.

Leon from Merlin!! I don't actually think he's unpopular, but he's like... my fourth favourite character in the show which I know IS considered high for most people.

Sandor Clegane from ASOIAF. Not the show, just the books. His book character is phenomenal and I am so excited for GrrM to finish the goddamn series so I know what happens to him.

The Stolls and Katie Gardner from PJO cause fandom created Tratie and sucked me in at a young age.

Bellatrix Lestrange? Is she unpopular? I don't think so but she's another one I think is a fantastic villain. I'm almost more interested in her than Voldemort tbh.

Haha, I don’t know how hot they are, but I can give you a speed run! (Also I am very excited to get this. FO4 was the first open world game I ever played and just the concept of that and the hugeness of the world and branching story & sudden feeling changes towards me in companion characters totally blew my mind, & it still lives rent free in my heart).

Ada, Old Longfellow, and Strong I /still/ haven’t maxed despite having too many hundred hours to want to list on this game—the former bc they were DLC, Strong because honest to god I left him at a nice settlement and then completely forgot about him and remembering that I am the energy in this Ryan O’Flanagan video but abt leaving my super mutant in a tiny settlement alone. I will get there! To max affinity I mean. But anyway, I don’t truly know those three, so my takes are incomplete. So far though, I really like Ada. She is a good girl just trying her best. Fucks me up I can tell her to self destruct. Even though I feel sure she would ignore me, I cannot imagine ever saying that to her. It was really sweet she was willing to forgive the Mechanist and move on with her life. A good girl. Longfellow I am maxing rn (was last time I played anyhow). I enjoy him. Gruff grumpy old man but he seems quite decent and I like his idle banter and when he sings to himself a lot. Seems like he’s had it rough. Strong I liked. He’s wild, and I loved how insane meeting him was, and am worried about him eventually understanding poetry and how that might mess up his sense of world understanding. But he’s a chill dude in his own way and I am glad they gave us at least one nice super mutant.

For the companions I actually do know like the back of my hand, the speedrun:

Nick Valentine: Best man on earth. One of two fictional characters I ever called husband. I would die kill or live for him. I want to be 1/4th the man Nick Valentine is. One of the best characters ever period and I adore literally everything about him. It fucked me up early in game where right after he offered to basically risk destroying his mind to help a stranger look for her son, he asked me how I was doing. First character in the entire game to do that. His first companion dialogue is abt how you’re doing TuT. The man is very kind and forgiving and fair, but knows when the draw the line and take no shit. Emotionally mature, kind, caring, longsuffering. Incredibly damaged and broken by life, but holding on and living kindly and to help others anyway. One of the four most marryablen fictional men I’ve ever seen.

Preston Garvey: Brave, kind, sweet man. I would defend him with my life. He really just wants so bad to make the world better and life has been so hard, but he’s still trying. A beautiful and underrated companion and I would throw hands for him on sight. I adore how he whistles. A true and gentle and loyal friend. Take him to Quincy and let him get his justice it’s what he deserves. People who hate him because he tries to get help helping civilians in that game are weak. I love him so much... please give him enough time to reach max affinity he’s so worth it.

Deacon: *To the tune of You Are My Dad* You are my friiiiend! You’re my friend! (Boogie woogie woogie). Initially, he pissed me off bc he lies all the god damn time, but after we got close enough he actually trusted me, he stole my heart and I would also die for Deacon. He’s a really good person who thinks he’s shit because of who he was on his past. Also him 🤝 Preston: massive survivor’s guilt. They should be friends. Poor Deacon has been the last member of the Railroad like four times, and it’s awful. Help him. Give him love and support. He’s one of my all time faves. Also, Railroad hands down best faction and if you kill them for any reason other than like a walkthrough route video and I ever get the chance I would 100% clock you in the face as hard as I can, like going for losing teeth, and feel no guilt. I know it’s a game and that’s wrong, and I’d be wrong, but I’d still do it. Also, Ryan Alosio (his VA) saw me do cosplay for Deacon once and told me it was great and it filled me with even more love. Anyway Deacon is great. Also, his whole “There are other organisations out there. And, in time, I'm sure they're going to spoon-feed you their own patented form of bullshit. Ignore the verbage and look at what they're doing. What they're asking you to do. What sort of world they'd have you build and how they're going to pay for it.” Is one of the like, two most iconic quotes in all of FO4 & just super good in general.

Hancock: Hardcore badass man but also a good dude and a champion for the people. Man really puts his money where his mouth is and you gotta respect that; another favorite companion for sure. Big fan of the way he stabs a guy for you upon meeting, and is a cool leader who organized his crime and does a decent job actually leading. He works hard to help people and bites back hard. Social justice advocate, dangerous man about town, not afraid to cosplay a revolutionary war hero 24/7 & u gotta respect the no fucks given attitude. A chill dude. Like that he fights the institute, hates the Brotherhood, helps the Railroad, and is friends with Nick. He’s legit af. Also, his VA gives a different answer every time someone asks him about the voice he did for hancock and they’re funny af.

Piper Wright: A cool spunky lady. Lois Lane on the case, kicking butt, and taking name. She’s nice but also hardcore and smart, supportive, fun. A good person. You always get points if you like Nick (which most companions do), and they’re good friends. She’s funny and I love her. A good heart.

Codsworth: He’s great. He’s family. He’s like my...weird brother. Getting to max affinity is heartwarming and also makes my heart go :’-] . Great early-game companion bc he kicks ass and doesn’t need stims to heal. I love getting called by my name and think that was a great feature (well, my PC’s name). He’s a wonderful funky little robot dude and I am so glad he likes me.

Dogmeat: Amazing. A good boy. Doggo of the year. His actor deserved the game award she won. Cute, full of love, and plays with a teddy bear if you give him one. 100/10z

Cait: I like her a lot. She’s been through so much shit, and it makes sense she is how she is. I like they actually gave her an emaciated and messy (though still pretty) design, since she is a drug addict. And that they make her main quest about taking that seriously and wanting to get help, and that she’ll call out the player if they fuck around and do drugs in front of her after she gets rehabilitated. Her relationship to the PC if good is really sweet, and I am a fan. I like that while she’s not sympathetic to synths and thinks they aren’t people, she forgets that every time Nick walks into a room and is like “Oh hey Nicky : )”. She’s a good girl who has been through a lot and still needs time to heal and find herself, but she’s making great strides.

Robert Joseph MacCready: Human disaster (loving). Homeboy a goddamn /mess/ but I love him. He tries so hard to be cool. I love he makes you pay him to come with, then chickens out and gives it back lol. A fool ball of anxiety and bad decisions and what he thinks brovado is. I wish he, Preston, and Deacon would quit fighting, bc I am always like “ :’-] </3 Boys Please” when they swap out, but I love them just the same. He’s doing his best, he’s just stupid and a fool. Like Philip J Fry. Keeping his goddamn soldier toy, which somehow is listed as junk instead of sent to Misc with quest items where it would be fine, safe?parylizes me with fear. I’ve lost 2 hours of gameplay reloading an old save bc I accidentally lost it.

X6-88: A more complex one to answer about. He’s bad, but like, I’m pretty sympathetic to how he got that way. He was created in a lab and had his emotions mostly dragged out of him in intense psychologically damaging training so he would be a weapon and view himself as an object. Paladin Danse: I know I’m gonna take heat for this but honestly? He didn’t do much for me. I like that he looks and sounds kinda like Buzz Lightyear, and that’s fun, but idk at all why people think he’s so hot. He’s very boring & generic looking to me. Like you’re valid! Taste all be different. But he doesn’t do it for me personally in looks or personality. I don’t at all like, hate him. Or even dislike. Tbh I am fairly neutral on him. It was funny making affinity with him though. Every other companion I had maxed, I liked more and more with each affinity talk. They’d be like “So my dad was a minuteman and died and I want to honor him” or “I just want to really feel like I’m a person, for real, myself, and I am glad I met you, because the good we have achieved together is ours, even if I can’t be sure of anything else,” or “My brother threw the cultural minorities out of our city for clout bc the rich citizens were all racist, and I tried to help—I snuck them food to the unsafe ruins they set up in for weeks, but eventually, they just vanished, and I still bear immense guilt and self-hatred over not having stopped that.” And Danae’s would be like “One time a buddy of mine got kidnapped by super mutants. They turned him into one of them, and they’re all abominations, so I killed him and it made me really sad.” And I was just like “...Oh danse. I really wanted to like you more. But what the fuck.” His relationship to Haylen is sweet though. And ofc I saved him in Blind Betrayal. I blew up the Prydwin so he’s safe now too, and he lives in the garden by my house and tells me how glad he is we’re friends, and I’m p into that. Overall, my feelings on him are not strong at all though.

Porter Gage: Not a fan. Like, I appreciated he helped me kill the old boss, sure. And bc I owed him for that, I went to max affinity to see what there was to him as a person. And like, as far as raiders go, he was okay. But he wasn’t deeply sympathetic, and he’s a slaver, and if you try to liberate the slaves he and the others own, he /will/ turn on and attempt to murder you immediately, no matter how close you were, so he made his choice, and it was to be a bad person and an asshole to the last. Really enjoyed the VA’s work a lot on him tho.

You turned around, looking at the tears welling up in his eyes, “Aww, alright. I’m sorry.” You reached behind him to grab a tissue from the tissue box on the small table and wiped his tears, “You good?”

"Yeah, kinda hurts, but I'm fine." He laughed, giving you a smile to reassure you that he's okay.

“You’re such a baby.” You playfully rolled your eyes before quickly kissing his nose. “You know, my lips kinda hurt too.” He smirked.

“Well, it might just be working.” You flirted back, making Peter blush profusely.

FOR REAL, HE JUST SPRAWLS OUT ON THE ROOF AND THEN ~GENTLY~ LEANS HIS HEAD ON HIS HIS HAND AND DRIFTS OFF ANGELICALLY

LWJ: wei ying, i have to go

He says SOFTLY and with LOVE and then PROCEEDS TO ABANDON HIS SOULMATE TO GO OFF AND DO STUPID PLOT THINGS

But guys, it was still beautiful

He says that and EVERYTHING goes all slo-mo as he walks away

I mean, the shot of him walking away is done so that we can see wwx perched on the rooftop above him and lwj does that stately strut he has

And then the camera gives us a shot of wwx’s face as the WIND GENTLY RUSTLES HIS HAIR

Looks like somebody just won first place in wwx’s shit list

Then more plot stuff happens, we see nmj and meng yao break up, blah blah blah

And that’s the end of ep10!!!

This was...so hard, guys. So difficult. A trial, even. I had to wait for an ENTIRE HALF-HOUR TO GET A SIGNIFICANT PIECE OF WANGXIAN PIE.

I mean, yeah, i got to see xxc’s beautiful face, but GOD, AT WHAT COST??

Also, are you guys starting to notice a Thing about rooftops?

Because it’s there.

Anyways I just like how he makes eye contact with me bc it’s like undeniable that he likes me. Or it makes me feel a little more sure that he’s into me? If only I could make eye contact with him when he’s closer.

I’d be able to see if his pupils dilate. Bc he’s one of the only people I’ve had a crush on that has light eyes. He’s soooooo cute ugh. Omg everytime I see him I just melt.

Idk how he happens to look so good in his uniform. I think bc he’s so slim it just works. If only he had fresh white kicks, and a new haircut, he would look sooo good. He already does rn, but just imagine.

I think I’d like freak the heck out. Maybe it’s good he doesn’t have those things. Plus with covid, it’s probably best just to not wear fresh kicks in a hospital.

But ughhhh I swear he’s into me! He’s like obvious at times and then when he’s trying to look non-suspicious or inconspicuous, it’s like I can pick up that it’s to seem purposely uninterested.

I think he doesn’t want to give himself away, but literally he acts so nervous around me. It’s so cute. But also, man it sucks I can’t get past the awkward silence with him.

I’m literally smooth and cool with everyone else, but I can’t seem to get myself to look past my attraction for him bc it’s so high. Like the thing is, I can be calm cool and collected with other ppl though.

I think it’s just the fact that I can feel some sort of mutual feelings. Once they do that, it’s over for me bc now I actually care about their impression of me and I feel like I have to try harder.

But, idk why I don’t just talk like I normally do. In large groups, I’ve seen how he interacts with ppl and he’s pretty easy going and chill, so I’m not really intimidated by him, so idk what else it could be?

I talk to people I’m attracted to a lot more often nowadays bc I have to for my job. Still, I think it’s just the fact that I have established this big crush on him in my head now...

And it’s just... he acts waaay too nervous around me. I didn’t even know I could have that affect on someone like him, so it always comes as a shock to my system when he does act nervous.

I get it, I think he believes I’m some big shot with a lot of guys looking at me with heart eyes in the hospital, but I don’t give them heart eyes back, if that’s what he’s thinking.

A lot of them I just talk to, to make convo bc I’m bored. But I hope I don’t give off like “for the streets” energy if that makes sense 😬 like I genuinely don’t talk to anyone romantically.

I’m tryna talk to him romantically but... at the same time not seriously, just flirtatiously. I don’t know if he can even handle that though bc he’s always acting scared around me.

There are a few people I have my eye on but it’s nothing major and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have an idea about them? Idk though, I can’t remember. Point is, he shouldn’t be intimidated by others.

I’m not checking for others, I’m checking for him! Ugh it’s just frustrating bc I don’t even know for sure if he likes me but it’s like I can just feeel it. I just want to talk to him so bad without being nervous for once.

Sigh 😔 or I wish he wasn’t nervous around me so I didn’t have to pick up that energy. I can’t read him that well, but I don’t think he likes me well enough to make convo bc he’s already so nervous around me.

And either he’s into someone else more or he has options so he’s like not putting all his eggs in one basket type situation. That’s just my... hypothesis. Bc I don’t think he really really really likes me.

I think he just thinks I’m attractive. Which, even that I’m a little surprised at but tbh I glowed up a tiny bit over the past year and a half so I kinda get it. I personally think so too, from the inside out though.

I’m happier, more lively, more positive, trying to have a great attitude. But in my work space, idk if those things changed. I’ve always been like that so idk if he even saw or noticed a changed.

It’s more of an internal, personal changed I’ve seen within myself that makes me feel prettier from the inside out. And I get compliments on it now too. Idk if it’s just bc I changed my hair though?

My hair was always... questionable before. It’s more consistently better but I need to change it again bc it’s getting bad once again. I can’t keep up with it, I wanna do something different...

It’s hard being a black girl and not knowing what to do with your hair. Like, I hate that I wait until I’ve completely outdone the hairstyle before I switch. It takes me so long to switch up a style.

I have commitment issues when it comes to hairstyles bc it’s so hard to know if you’re going to like it or not before you actually get it done to you, so I have to be absolutely sure.

And that’s only half the battle because then now it’s a matter of time and money and someone else’s time also, considering I usually get driven to my hair place. And now with covid, it’s an even bigger inconvenience.

Off track though, I keep glowing up and even though I could definitely look better still, I do generally look pretty decent now all the time. And so, I get it if he has recognized the glow up and appreciates it.
