What's happening in Italy?

7 women have been killed in the past 10 days. Intentionally, from their respective partners or former partners.

Barbara Palombelli, a journalist, decided to express her opinion on the matter. She said:

《 Sometimes, however, it's fair to ask ourselves: were these men completely out of their minds, [their heads] fully obnubilated, or was there an aggressive and exasperating behaviour on the other side as well? 》

This person is a journalist who dared say such things on national TV, live. She still has her job.

Some even defended her, claiming her question was legit. And... I wonder what the so-called "exasperating" women who "asked for it" would say.
