ok so he met you at central perk

you were another victim of “how you doin?” obviously

he finally introduced you to the group after you’d been dating a little while

they all thought you were just another one of his two-week relationships

but he’s been dating you for months now and they all got to know you really well

he calls you “the one”

insists on buying you a drink every time you go to the coffee shop

(even if he has to borrow money from chandler to do so)

you and the girls become besties of course

rachel loves going shopping with you

and monica cooks for you

phoebe gives you free massages

and chandler loves you too

like sometimes you’ll wake up before joey when you’re staying at their apartment and you and chandler will just talk

he caught you guys once though and he still hasn’t let you live it down

ross let’s you hold ben

you and joey have movie marathons and during scary movies he insists on holding you close “in case you get scared”

but really it’s cause he’s terrified

he would actually do anything for you

when you guys go out to dinner he even lets you share his desert

loves it when you run your fingers through his hair

he once tried to cook you your favorite food for your birthday and almost burned his apartment down

you help him read lines all the time to practice for upcoming auditions

and he always picks ones with romantic scenes just for an excuse to kiss you

he is so gentle it’s adorable

you guys cuddle all the time

calls you baby occasionally

he’s a flirt

but he also gets super jealous and protective of you if someone hits on you

he always makes you smile when you’re having a bad day

he loves you so much and you guys are just so happy together <3

summary: dating monica would include…

pairing: monica x fem reader 🫶

warning: small, little sad moment but nothing big <3

• you and monica met while she was shopping in her favorite store

• you worked behind the register and your breath absolutely flew out of your lungs when she stood in front of you, buying her clothes

• monica felt the same lack of air in her lungs when she first saw you

• she ended up leaving with her clothes and your number

• when you got home that same day, you anxiously waited for her to call you

• she eventually did and after a while of talking, you decided to meet up and have a coffee together

• a week later, you were sitting in a café, smiling and talking with this stunning woman

• it all felt natural and easy

• you couldn’t stop staring at her in awe

• after three weeks of meeting up, you begin dating

• you finally meet her group of friends not so long after you make your relationship official

• they all thought you were one of her two-week relationships

• but seeing you and monica together for two months convinced them that your relationship is something real

• monica tells you that she loves you and you sit there, mouth slightly open and eyes slightly wide before you break into a smile and say it back <3

• you absolutely love cooking with monica on friday nights, music in the background as monica stands behind you, hands on your waist as she teaches you to cook dishes you didn’t even know existed

• both of your love languages are physical touch

• you’re always seen holding hands or leaning into each other

• you cuddle all the time

• she calls you honey constantly, and every time it makes you melt

• she calls you baby occasionally

• you have so many beautiful memories with each other

How They React to You Telling Them You’re Pregnant

Monica:

Kisses your stomach.

Talks to the baby every chance she gets before screaming to the others that she’s going to be a mom.

Goes to the balcony where she screams out to anybody listening.

“I’m going to be a mom!”

Rachel:

Almost chokes on her food when you tell her.

“A baby. Wow.”

She gets up and hugs you.

“Rach, you’re hugging too tight.”

Phoebe:

Gets happy to the point of tears.

“I’m just so happy!”

“Yay, yay, yay, yay!”

Ross:

At first, he doesn’t know how to react.

He seems happy and nervous.

“A baby? Is… is… are we happy about this?”

When you nod, he envelops you in a hug, whispering sweet nothings in your ear.

Joey:

Shocked.

Goes for the condoms he carries in his pocket.

“Joey, what are you doing?”

“I’m calling the condom company and telling them their products don’t work.”

Chandler:

Panics at first, but then starts to giggle.

He dances around the apartment.

Dating Joey Tribbiani Would Include

You’d meet somewhere normal.

Joey used to hitting on women anywhere and everywhere.

And he’d definitely hit on you.

And he’d be confused when you didn’t call for his usual go-to moves.

So he’d pursue you.

‘I’ve tried everything and she still doesn’t like me!’ ‘How about talking to her like she’s a human being?’ ‘Now’s no time for jokes Mon.’

He’d keep asking you out.

Until finally, you’d cave.

One date then he had to leave you alone.

And he’d go all out.

He’d definitely borrow from Chandler to take you out.

But he’d buy you flowers (and chocolates but they wouldn’t make the journey to your apartment)

And the date would end with him coming back to your apartment.

Because why the hell not?

And he’d love that he succeeded but there was a little niggle at the back of his mind.

But you’d not go on a second date.

You’d become friends.

The gang would love you.

You’d slot right in.

But the more he got to know you the more he fell in love.

It’d all come to a head when someone else asked you out.

‘Are you really going out with him?’ ‘Yeah, why?’ ‘No reason.’ ‘Joe?’ ‘Would I be selfish to ask that you don’t?’

After that, you’d find yourself in bed together again.

And for most of the following few days.

The man has moves.

But he’s also super sweet, loving and caring.

He loves to cook for you.

And all dates are definitely food-based.

He teaches you all his family recipes.

But you’ll never impress his nonna.

‘I love my Joey so I love you…but leave the cooking to Nonna.’

She loves you though.

And so do all his sisters.

He talks about having a big family like his.

The idea of pushing 7 Joey sized babies out makes you shiver

But seeing him with his nieces and nephews, Emma and the twins is enough to convince you.

He’d propose simply.

Like when you were cooking together.

‘Hey Y/N.’ ‘Yeah?’ ‘Wanna get married?’ ‘Sure Joe, oh, you’re serious.’

And he’d have to have the big church wedding or his Ma would never let him hear the end of it.

And you’d eventually move out near Monica and Chandler.

Because even though Joey has grown up now he still needs his best man.

‘Do we really need to do this?’ ‘Hey looking after Joey is not easy.’ ‘I am right here.’ ‘Here’s what he eats.’ ‘I’m a grown man!’

And once you were settled out there you’d start trying for a baby.

He’d be the best dad.

So patient and caring.

And the only person you know who could play catch for 18 hours straight.

Every holiday was spent with the gang and their growing broods.

And though you all had your own lives and families it wasn’t too dissimilar to the days you spent at Central Perk. Just with a few more faces.

☁️FRIENDS: Monica x Rachel headcannons☁️

Before dating-

They definitely had "movie nights" but, conveniently forgot to invite Phoebe.

Those "movie nights" were just them kissing and talking trash about everyone else-

They were almost caught several times by Joey and Chandler.

(Chandler definitely knew what was up though-)

Anytime one of them has a date with some guy to hide their relationship the other makes sure to comfort and cuddle the other, as well as having a whole debrief on what they didn't like about the guy.

After dating-

So. Many. Romantic. Dinner. Dates. Filled with candles, fancy tablecloth, and the whole nine yards.

Rachel steals Monica's clothes so often, anytime she's confronted about it though she'll deny it.

Monica loves seeing Rachel's sketches and fashion ideas, she just likes hearing Rachel rant about what she loves.

They had a huge wedding, though most of it was planned by Monica. Monica made sure the bouquet was lilies and the centerpieces for the tables.

Whenever Rachel had Emma, Monica was so scared yet so happy because she finally got a kid of her own. (She also beat up Ross but we don't talk about that-)

A/N: here, have some more Friends content because I'm currently obsessed

Monica Geller

Monica would probably be a little taken aback since she never gets asked that question, but she'd be polite when answering

"Well, I personally use she/her, but I don't really care, y'know? Feel free to use whatever"

She might even apologize for acting so stoic when you initially asked before asking about yours

"Sorry about that, I'm just not used to getting that sort of question asked to me. What are yours?"

Rachel Green

Like Monica, Rachel would be so polite about it

"Oh, well, I'm a girl, right? So she/her please"

She'll most likely ask for yours in return so as not to make you uncomfortable by using the wrong ones

"So, what about you, hun? Which pronouns make you feel most comfortable?"

Phoebe Buffay

Phoebe would be so thrilled that you asked honestly (because nobody ever does)

"Oh! Um, any are fine but if you could use she/they specifically that'd be just great!"

It makes her feel all warm and fuzzy inside that someone cared enough to ask

She'd immediately ask for your pronouns afterwards, as a sign of general courtesy but also because she's curious lol

"Alright, we've already talked about me, so now it's your turn! What are your pronouns?"

Chandler Bing

"Wait, you're actually asking me about my pronouns?"

Chandler would be pleasantly surprised because he's not used to it

"Well, I usually use he/him, but you can use they/them too, if you wanna"

He's really awkward when telling you, but that's only to hide how happy he is (although you could probably tell due to the huge grin on his face)

"Thanks for asking, I really appreciate it. So which pronouns do you use?"

Joey Tribbiani

"My what?"

Joey would be so confused, and he probably wouldn't fully understand it even after you explained it to him, but he'd try his best

"Well, I'm a guy, so he/him. ...I think"

He'd definitely try to use asking people for their pronouns as a pickup line later on
