Tojoctober Day 30 - Pawn

Daigo and Katsuya meet in Touto Hospital, and resolve to quit being pawns in the Omi chairman’s game.

(Yakuza 5 spoilers)

When will Daigo stop waking up to the sound of hospital monitors?

He registers a dull yet painful ache in his side as he rouses from his slumber, and realizes that, for once, he’s not connected to any of the machines. He sits up in his hospital bed (ow), and attempts to stand upright. The first attempt sends a shock wave of pain through him, and he’s forced to sit for a minute, but the second attempt goes much better. His two feet plant into the ground firmly as he rises and takes in where he’s been brought.

The room is empty, save for his hospital bed, the machines he was hearing, a pistol, which Daigo grabs and stashes away, and a clipboard that had Daigo’s name and information on it. Scanning the document revealed that the bullet he sustained had already been removed an hour ago, and his wound closed, but bandaged. Looking out the window, the nighttime sky and lights greeted Daigo, a welcome and familiar sight, revealing not much time had passed. Finally fully glancing at himself, he registers he’s still in the same suit he was in when he confronted Kurosawa at Kamurocho Hills, but it had been cleaned, only the hole in the fabric showed any signs of his encounter.

Right, Kurosawa… What was he doing? What was he and Kanai’s plan? Why did they want to threaten and kill everyone Daigo knew? Saejima-san, Majima-san, Haruka-chan, Kiryu…

Daigo shakes himself out of his thoughts as he feels a pair of eyes on him, but as he scans the room again, he cannot see a source.

Odd. Then again, where was the doctor? Wouldn’t they be running to come check on him?

Daigo limps towards the door, opening it up with a huff. Maybe he can look around for someone with a modicum of authority?

Daigo walks down the hall until he comes across a second figure, walking in the same direction he was headed. He had only seen the man a couple times, but judging the way he’s walking, and the last events Daigo remembers, he could only be one person. Daigo raises his voice as much as he can to call out to him.

“Katsuya-san! You really shouldn’t be up and about.”

Daigo guessed right, as Katsuya turns around, and looks shocked to see the chairman. He clears his throat as Daigo continues to approach. “I’d say the same goes for you, Sixth Chairman. Seems like we’re both disobeying the doctor’s orders.”

“You had a doctor?” Daigo asked, quizzically.

“Yeah…? He told me to take it easy before leaving.” Katsuya cocked his eyebrow.

“Odd. I haven’t seen a soul since I woke up.” Daigo leans against the wall, his side beginning to ache slightly.

“How are you doing, Dojima-san? I’m quite shocked to see you upright. Kanai isn’t known for his killing abilities, but he can cause immense pain.”

Daigo lets out a breathless laugh, placing his hand on his side, “It’ll take more than a bullet to keep me down. I woke up a bit ago, but it seems all of the necessary procedures are complete. What about you? You took a lot more than I did, from the looks of it.”

Katsuya smiles, “I’d wager I woke up just before you. It seems they must have me on some intense painkillers, as I’m walking a lot better than you.”

“Didn’t take you as the type to make jokes, Katsuya-san.”

“You don’t know a lot about me then, Sixth Chairman.”

His ache now slightly faded, Daigo pushes himself upright, and stands by Katsuya’s side. As much as he wants to lie down, the fire of determination and justice surges within him.

“What do you think the chairman did all of that for? Everyone there had taken a bullet. Although, if I'm not mistaken, you took two?”

Katsuya begins to walk again, Daigo following in stride.

“The man I took the bullet for would’ve been Masaru Watase. He’s the captain of the Omi Alliance. Very old-school in his ways, but that fact makes him very admirable.”

“Is he on our side?” Daigo inquires, hoping for something positive.

“After what happened at the Kamurocho Hills, yes. I’d wager Watase is doing what he can." Katsuya responds.

"Getting revenge?" Daigo asks. He's worked with and been raised by more than a few old-school yakuza to know how they work. Even if this Watase guy is on their side, Daigo didn’t expect much from him.

"Probably. But… Well, no, I don't think he'd do what I just thought of."

"Fair enough."

The men walk in silence, Daigo registering the ache on his side is ebbing and flowing less and less, before Katsuya speaks up.

"What led to you disappearing, Dojima-san?"

Daigo sighs. If they were to be allies, it’d be wise to exchange information, lest this become an interrogation. “I had an inkling that there was a traitor in the Tojo. My reason was the same for Majima’s disappearance: to draw the traitors into the light, while strengthening our own alliances to confront them.”

“So I was right. Majima is still alive.” Katsuya makes eye contact, his eyes shining with a newfound hope.

“You know Majima-san?” Daigo says, shocked at the new revelation.

“Yes. We were close at a younger age.” Katsuya states simply. Daigo can tell that there’s more to that, more to everything, but also knows when to not pry.

“That's the reason why this whole situation irritates me. Chairm- Kurosawa is trying to kill the yakuza. If he knows Majima is alive, then-” Katsuya rambles.

“We won’t let that happen.” Daigo says sternly. No matter what, Daigo wasn’t going to let anyone else be an unwilling pawn for Kurosawa. Not while Daigo still lived and breathed.

Katsuya simply smirks in return, “You had more gumption than I thought, Sixth Chairman. If only the Omi had a leader like you.”

It takes a second for Daigo to notice that the two men were now in the lobby of the hospital, and were approaching the exit.

“Where are we going?”

“The Millennium Tower. That’s where all the yakuza shit goes down in Kamurocho, right? If we’re both right about what the chairman wants, then it’s up to us to intervene, as you said. Are you ready to back up your words, Dojima-san?”

“Shouldn’t we be recovering?” Daigo asks, already knowing the answer.

“I have a feeling you’re not going to wait to feel better. At least, I don’t plan on waiting. I’m not much of a fighter, admittedly. Words are my weapon. Not very good against bullets.”

Daigo flashes a confident smirk, “Well, I may need a bit of assistance, but when it comes down to it I like to think I’m a crack shot with a pistol. If you lead the way, I’ll back you up.”

Kastuya chuckles, and opens the door, the frigid air blowing through them.

“We’re off, then.”

Katsuya exits the building, holding the door open for the Sixth Chairman.

As he glances back into the lobby one last time, Daigo could’ve sworn he saw another figure standing at the bottom of one of the stairways. Like a mirage, with a familiar pair of dark brown orbs and golden tie.

The soft smile it was wearing was what made Daigo question reality for a brief second, before following Katsuya into the winter night.

Katsuya Naoki Character Story

Major Yakuza 5 Spoilers

A character story that I’ve been meaning to do for a while, largely because I knew it touched on Katsuya and Majima’s relationship which is otherwise largely unexplored in game

I was coming hot off the heels of translating Saejima’s character story, which was pretty short overall, and the first half of the Fierce Tiger’s Fangs boss rush event, which uses a lot of in-game lines, so this ended up taking a lot longer than expected. I stayed up till 2 AM cause I was so engrossed though!

Summary:

Set a year and a half before the events of Yakuza 5, by coincidence both Park Mirei and Katsuya Naoki are in Kamurocho. When Majima doesn’t show up for a planned meet up with Katsuya he gets worried, and quickly finds that Majima has had someone very precious to him taken hostage...

June, 2011 A year and a half before the president of Dyna Chair Productions, Park Mirei, would have her murder covered up as a suicide... Park had gone to Kamurocho to obtain a loan of 300 million yen, and Katsuya had come to Kamurocho on business as president of Osaka Entertainment.

Katsuya's driver: We've arrived at the destination you requested, but.... Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?

Katsuya: Yes. Once I'm done with my business, I'll make my own way back to the hotel. You can do what you like until tomorrow morning. Driver: Excuse me then. I'll meet you tomorrow morning at the hotel. Katsuya: Thank you. <the driver leaves> Katsuya: Well then, I'll head to the usual store.... <he leaves> Katsuya: Pardon the intrusion, bartender.

Bartender: Welcome, Katsuya-san. It's been a while. I see you're in Kamurocho again. Katsuya: Work has called me to Tokyo once more... I'll take the usual, if you would. Bartender. Of course. Coming right up.... Katsuya: There's no need to rush. That person is going to be late anyways... Bartender: ...Majima-san's even later than usual today isn't he? Katsuya: He certainly is... Do you mind if I call him real fast? <phone rings> Majima: Who is it? I'm kinda busy at the moment.... Katsuya: Hello, it's Katsuya. You're in the middle of something I see. I apologize then. Majima: Ka-chan? ....Oh, right! I totally forgot!! Today was the day I promised to... <the music cuts out> Different voice on the phone: Oi, there he is! Right over there!! This has taken so damn long..... I'm not gonna let you slip away this time!! Surround them, surround them!! Katsuya: Majima-san? What's happening? What's all that commotion behind you.... Majima: Uh oh. Sorry, Ka-chan. I'm gonna have to cancel! I'm in a teensy bit of a pickle.... sorry!! Katsuya: M-Majima-sa-- <Majima hangs up> Bartender: What's going on with Majima-san? Katsuya: I don't know. He hung up on me... Katsuya: That man's the kind of person who usually won't listen to anyone else, but today it seems he didn't have his usual composure..... Katsuya: The way he was rushing... It's possible that Majima didn't want me to get a good sense of the predicament he found himself in...... Bartender: Majima-san's in a predicament? What could have caused---no, it's likely something's happening with the "Tokyo Alliance". Katsuya: Tokyo Alliance? Bartender: Lately the Tojo Clan's been having trouble with a non-Tojo Clan yakuza group. It's comprised of all the groups the Tojo Clan drove out, and it's a huge organization.

Katsuya: I believe I've heard that name somewhere before.... If I recall correctly, they have a number of well known ex-Tojo leaders in their ranks...... Bartender: That's correct. They take hostages and play dirty and they'll use any underhanded methods... they're a very nasty group. Bartender: With Saejima getting imprisoned at the end of last year, they've taken advantage of the situation and are starting to push in... (Tl note: SAEJIMA!! YOU CREATED SO MANY PROBLEMS BY GOING TO JAIL I AM HITTING YOU WITH STICKS AGAIN) Bartender: The Tojo Clan seems to be having a lot of trouble with this Tokyo Alliance.... Bartender: Majima-san is very important within the Tojo Clan so... Perhaps the Tokyo Alliance has laid some sort of trap for him..... Katsuya: When we were speaking on the phone, there was another voice, and it sounded like he was trying to catch someone. Katsuya: Then perhaps what Majima-san didn't want me to know was, that Tokyo Alliance had cornered him!! <he calls again, Majima doesn't answer> Katsuya: It's no use, he's not picking up.... The obvious choice is to go to the Majima Family office. Katsuya: Majima-san's henchmen ought to know what's going on. And if Majima-san really is in a predicament, I better move quickly.... Bartender: Yes, that sounds like a good idea Katsuya-san. Please stay safe..... Katsuya: Thank you very much, bartender. Here's your money. Keep the change. I'm off.... <he leaves> Katsuya: If memory serves, the Majima Family office is in the Millennium Tower... That's not far from here, I should be able to go on foot--

Tojo Clan Members: What's got you in such a rush, huh? ....Mister Omi Alliance’s Chief of HQ, Patriarch of Ousaka Enterprises Katsuya Naoki?

Katsuya: ....You're from the Tojo Clan, correct?

Tojo Goon: And what the hell is some Omi alliance big wig doing here drinking sake at a Kamurocho bar!! Tojo Goon: What the hell are you scheming!? Tojo Goon: Us and the Omi might share some cups, but I draw the line at this.... doing whatever the hell you please scot free!! (Tl note: sharing cups in this case is referring to sakazuki, where two member drink from the same cup of sake as part of the ceremony for becoming kyoudai) Katsuya: I am travelling this street unarmed and without a guard.... I have no intention of scheming against you of the Tojo Clan. Tojo Goon: Then why the hell would an Omi executive come out to Kamurocho!? You really expect me to believe it's for no reason!? Katsuya: Tch... He's not going to listen.... If I don't hurry this will turn into a really sticky situation. Tojo Goon: If you keep playing dumb I'll just have to get your plans out of you by force!! Tojo Goon: You're gonna regret not bringing some guards along.... Let's go!! Say your prayers!!!

Tojo Goon: Sh-Shit..... too strong.......

Katsuya: I should have expected something like this would happen, moving around in the heart of the Tojo Clan's territory as an Omi man.... Katsuya: If I get caught up in a big fight with the Tojo Clan, I could ruin the balance of yakuza power between the east and the west..... Katsuya: I'll have to be as careful as possible to avoid running into more Tojo Clan members; that would also cause problems for Majima-san. Katsuya: I've no time to waste... I'll need to carry this out efficiently. Katsuya: The best way to find out what's happened to Majima-san is to ask the members of the Majima Family. (Tl note: the phrase 真島さんの身に起こっている kept throwing me cause I'm like okay that's "what's happening to Majima-san's..... body??" Katsuya why just his body??? he's not dead, man. Turns out it's just phrasing I wasn't familiar with) Katsuya: I'm not well versed in moving around Kamurocho, so it would be best to ask someone where the Majima Family office is rather than wander around. <he leaves to do so> <end part 1>

Katsuya: The Millennium Tower.... That building must be where the office is.....

Suspicious Man: You're the one who just kicked the crap out of some Tojo Clan guys, aren't you? (Tl note: I see that the Y5 encounter rate was in full effect by June of 2011, given that Katsuya made it approximately one block before getting jumped by more goons)

Katsuya: ....And you all are? Suspicious Man: We're members of the Tokyo Alliance.... Omi Alliance’s Chief of HQ, Patriarch of Ousaka Enterprises Katsuya Naoki, we'd like a word. Katsuya: Seeing as you know who I am, what is it that you want? Tokyo Alliance Member: We're in the middle of a feud with the Tojo Clan.... Tokyo Alliance Member: Since you're clearly planning on taking on the Tojo Clan, why not join forces with us? Katsuya: I apologize, but I must decline your proposal.... I have no intentions of taking on the Tojo Clan. Member: Well that's too bad, since we could always convince you to come with us by force? Our higher ups said to do whatever we have to do to bring you in... Katsuya: I'm wasting time talking.... Every last one of these people has been as receptive as a brick wall. Katsuya: But, the timing works out. I have questions I want to ask you. And this time, I'll just get them through force. Member: You don't want to tangle with us!! We're an elite force within the Tokyo Alliance!! Member: I'm not gonna kill you! We'll just beat your ass and then bring you to your appointment with HQ!! Get ready!!!!

Member: They never said that... he's a monster... (Tl note: the monster they use for him is 化け物 which can be goblin, apparition, monster, ghost, phantom, etc. It’s literally “transformed thing”, which is fitting since Katsuya looks like a normal guy but is actually very strong) <the other two fall, and Katsuya wrenches the man's arm up behind his back> Member: A-Aah!? Wh-What are you doing! Don't kill me!!

Katsuya: .....Are you ready to answer my questions? Member: Anything you want!! Just let me live!! Katsuya: I have reason to believe you're making a move on the Majima Family right now.... Tell me everything that you know about that. Member: The Majima Family? U-Uhh, I think I heard something about that.... HQ definitely said something about catching hold of "Majima's Achilles heel".... Katsuya: Majima-san's Achilles heel? And what the hell is that!? Member: Th-That's all the more I heard them say.... But, that's gotta be something important.... Member: What's more, just a little while ago the Majima Family guys were out in force, desperately searching around Kamurocho for something. Member: And Majima's staying silent on it, so the person's gotta be a hostage, right? Maybe it's his woman.... or an illegitimate child....... Katsuya: Majima-san's..... woman?

Katsuya: (Come to think of it, Park-san is visiting Kamurocho..... Could the Tokyo Alliance really have taken Park-san hostage?) Katsuya: (But, if they really took that woman hostage, Majima-san would have no choice but to comply.... Could it really be?) Katsuya: And where is that person now!? Member: I don't know!! I told you everything!! Are we good? Please let me go!! Katsuya: Yeah, we're good.... Member: I-I'm real glad you're a reasonable guy.... <Katsuya punches the back of his head> Member: Guh!? Wh-What.... Katsuya: I'm sparing your life, as promised. It's time for you to take a nap here for a while. <he goes down> Katsuya: That certainly wasn't information I was expecting to find..... "Majima-san's Achilles heel" huh......

Katsuya: A hostage that could corner even Majima-san....... Did Park-san really fall into this group's clutches? <a phone rings> Katsuya: The cell phone of the man I just knocked out.... Maybe I can learn something. I'll answer. Voice on the phone: How are things going? Have you made contact with Katsuya from the Omi? Katsuya: Yes sir. But I must apologize. He rebuked our invitation. When we gave chase, he managed to shake us.... (Tl note: making use of the fact that Katsuya used to be an actor!) Voice: What!? ....Eh, it's fine. Return to HQ. "Majima's Achilles heel" is on a rampage and we can't catch her. Voice: That Majima really had his hands full with this one..... But it would be an issue if she escaped, so I need an extra set of hands. Voice: We'll figure out what to do about Katsuya. You hurry up back to HQ. Katsuya: (I see. They really do have a hostage captured at their HQ....) Katsuya: (Given that she’s on a rampage, she’s probably safe for now.) Katsuya: (But if she gets too rowdy, it's possible she could cause enough trouble that they kill her.....) Katsuya: (I need to quickly find out where that Alliance's HQ is so that I can rescue the hostage......) Katsuya: Understood. I'll be there soon. .....Ummmmmm by the way, where is HQ at again? Voice: Haw!? Are you talking in your sleep here? Did Katsuya hit you so hard you lost your memory? Voice: It's that abandoned building on Senryo Street called Kakehi. Go splash some water on your face to wake up before you head back! Katsuya: Sorry, I'll be there soon! <he hangs up> Katsuya: Alright, Senryo street's Kakehi building.... that's where the hostage is. Time to head there quickly for a rescue. Katsuya: Though, it is the Tokyo Alliance's HQ. Going there alone might be a tad reckless... Katsuya: Perhaps I can enlist the aid of the Majima Family members here... I'm sure they'd be willing to help for Majima's sake. <he goes to the tower> Katsuya: Hm? That's the Majima Family crest....... That helmeted man, he seems incredibly panicked....

Helmeted Man: The Tokyo Alliance wants the boss to come alone if he wants to do an exchange for Mirei-chan?

Majima Family Member: Yeah, they said "otherwise don't expect survival". (Tl note: it’s unclear whose survival they’re talking about, but I would expect it’s Mirei’s) Katsuya: (That helmeted guy said "Mirei-chan".... Is Park-san really the hostage?) Member: Nishida, you, do you really want to keep this quiet from the boss... are you absolutely sure? If it gets out, won't the boss kill you? Nishida: The boss has been out looking for Mirei-chan this entire time.... He's not normally so devoted to something...... Nishida: If the Alliance uses Mirei-chan as leverage.... The boss will give in to whatever demands they have in order to protect her life. Nishida: So I can only think about the worst happening to our boss..... Katsuya: (The helmeted guy has a point... If it came down to it, he might even lay down his life for her.) Katsuya: (He might say he's "forgotten all about her", but she's still that important to him.) Nishida: Besides, the boss is already under suspicion regarding the Katsuya-san matter... Who knows what would happen if it comes out that he worked with the Tokyo Alliance.... Nishida: That could even jeopardize his position in the Tojo Clan..... Nishida: So in order to protect our boss, please keep quiet about the Tokyo Alliance holding Mirei-chan for now.... Nishida: I think we need to gather more information and carefully consider the best course of action. Katsuya: Protecting Majima-san instead of the hostage.... They made the right decision. I'm sure I would have come to the same conclusion if I were in their place. (Tl note: BRO??? reconsidering how much Park was in on the Majima Letter Plot now) Katsuya: It's just as well; if Majima-san is being suspected due to his connection to me, it's best if I'm not in contact with the Majima Family. Katsuya: It seems that I have no choice but to rescue Park-san myself. Time to get to the Tokyo Alliance HQ, fast!! <end part 2>

Katsuya: I was able to enter through the relatively lightly guarded rear entrance, but as expected of an HQ, there's a lot of guards patrolling inside.

<three goons are shown> Katsuya: My objective is rescuing the hostage. Putting the guards on alert would be troublesome... It will be best if I can avoid them as much as possible. Katsuya: I'll have to stick to the shadows as I try to find where they might be holding her. (Tl note: I love that he just like narrates to himself for most of this) <he moves deeper in> Katsuya: (Someone's coming this way... I'll hide and see what happens....) Goon B: "Majima's Achilles tendon" has escaped again. How many times have we had to help corner and capture her now?

Goon C: Don't complain... ain't like we can do anything about it, right? In reality it's only thanks to having her that we're able to keep the Majima Family in check. Goon B: I know, I know, but this just keeps happening over and over again... Goon C: Let's hurry! If she gets away, we lose control of the Majima Family. That would be way more trouble. <they run off> Katsuya: So Park-san is still alive and well... I'm surprised she's able to repeatedly flee when faced with yakuza... Katsuya: Still, if anything happened to her it could be a lot of trouble. While this group is floundering, I'd best take my chance to rescue her. Katsuya: Those men are probably heading in her direction now. I'll follow a ways behind to avoid being noticed. <he follows deeper still> Katsuya: Looks like they went into this room... It's likely full of enemies, but I've got no choice but to enter. <he does so> Goon B: Oi! This way! Catch her!!

<bangs and crashes> Goon C: Ouch! You fucker, calm down! Behave!! Do you want to make this harder on yourself!?

Goon D: You're a quick bastard! Drive her into the corner of the room!! <Katsuya enters> Katsuya: Stop! Don't you cause that person any more harm!! Goon B: That Katsuya asshole!? What are you doing here!? Katsuya: Park-san! I'm here to help!! Let's get out of here!! Goon B: Tch! You're here to steal her back!! But, why? What's this even got to do with you!? Katsuya: I've no reason to tell you lot that. Now why don't you hand your hostage over to me? Goon B: I'm not just gonna hand her over cause you tell me to!! She's still useful to us!! Goon B: Oi, if that fucker escapes we'll have problems... don't let her outta the back room!! Goon D: Yes sir! <Goon D runs off> Goon B: Everyone, lets get this guy!! No holding back, kill his ass!! Let's go!!!!

Goon B: Wh-What the hell.... this guy is... a monster.....

Katsuya: Park-san!! <he runs to the back room> Goon D: You! They weren't able to stop you!? Shit! Guess I'm your opponent now!!

Katsuya: You're irrelevant. Go to sleep now!! <punches him in the back of the head> Goon D: Uguh!?

<the goon hits the floor> Katsuya: Park-san! It's Katsuya, I'm here to help you!! .....Huh? Katsuya: .......Strange, where is Park-san? There's no one here besides the man I just knocked out...... ???: Nyaaa~..... Katsuya: A cat.....? What the hell is going on here? There's nothing in this room besides a cat...... <a lot of footsteps approach> Katsuya: Damn it... Tokyo Alliance reinforcements!? ???: We're here to take Mirei-chan back... What happened here? ???: Did someone get here before us? Who the hell....? Cat: Nyaaa~...... ???: Hmm? That sound just now.... over there.... I've been lookin' everywhere for ya~ Mirei-chaaan~ Katsuya: M-Majima-san!? What are you doing here!?

Majima: K-Ka-chan, that you!? What the hell are ya doin'? Did you bust the skulls of this whole group!? <cut forward to the bar> Majima: Hahaha! Seriously Ka-chan, ya really thought those guys had kidnapped a woman instead of a cat!!

Katsuya: I genuinely had the entirely wrong idea about the situation..... I've never been more embarrassed. Please forget everything about this. Majima: Ha! This is way too funny to ever forget! I'm gonna be raggin' on ya about this for a long time.... Majima: Well, I'm the one who made such an uproar over a single cat gettin' loose, so I ain't got much room to laugh at ya... Katsuya: Majima-san, what is the deal with that cat? Majima: Right, that cat... It belongs to a guest of Daigo's. While the two of them were meeting, the Majima Family was in charge of takin' care of her. Katsuya: Then how did the Tokyo Alliance get their hands on it? Majima: Er, so, that cat's super cute, right? That cat's just way too cute, and I ended up lovin' on her a whole lot... Majima: She didn't like that or somethin' cause the cat ended up runnin' away. On a translation note, I had a SUPER hard time with two lines Nishida says: 東京連合はミレイちゃんのガラと引き換えに、親父に一人で来るようにと言ってるんですか? ここは親父を守る為にも、東京連合がミレイちゃんの、ガラを押さえてるってことは黙っておいて... specifically the ガラ in there! despite a lot of searching I never found that phrasing anywhere else (one exact match search just brought up this specific substory lmao). my best guess is that it’s 柄 being used in a similar way to the earlier 真島さんの身 to just be extra emphasis on the situation, but I really don’t know! if anyone does know tho I’d love to hear

secondly I love that Katsuya is just kind of small in all of this. it made the team I sent in extra funny to me

thirdly due to me doing this at 2AM like I said, Fats Clan got a lot of bonus notes including (Tl note: I saw this many kanji at once after eating 2 bratwurst and a bunch of cheesy tater tots and my eyes just started glazing over. I had to convince myself that it's fine I know most of these it's fine it's not that bad c'mon man do it for Majima) ....Mister Omi Alliance [whatever his full fucking title is] Katsuya Naoki? finally I am not going to think about Majima loving a cat too much that the cat ran away, and him being ready to risk it all for that cat anyways, in a story that mentions Saejima going back to jail. also once again every fear Majima has had about people close to him getting used against him comes true. also also he named the damn cat Mirei and pretended it was a total coincidence which is apparently his entire coping mechanism for That Mess. and the fucking. not planning on meeting up with her until he's dead which would have been fulfilled by meeting her after his fake death except she died because Majima cared about her and and and and and
